On top of which none of what you’re saying is a reason not to do these things. Just because there are problematic variables doesn’t mean they can’t be accommodated and addressed.

No, I honestly don’t think they can be adequately addressed — I’d gladly be proven wrong though.

It’s nothing but code, of course it can be addressed… Remember when Anet said “Oh well, we can’t implement outside PvP Queueing because of the [eye candy] we implemented. We don’t have the tech for it.”

The bold is what they said word for word in that regards. Yet here we are, able to queue without staying in HotM to do it.

As for making Matchmaking better, they can implement criteria that literally make MM think more when allocating players on a team… ya, it can be done. Matchmaking is so concentrated on the numbers on paper that it doesn’t even look at the individual class comp. It doesn’t notice that Foefire’s Middle is 3x larger than other maps. It doesn’t notice that there’s a Lord that gives 250 points when winning.

Other than player population… all these other items are very, easily, addressed. It just takes man hours.

How did their team kill anything in your first example? That team is extremely slow to rotate, you had plenty of tools to win that.

They out sustained us in mid very easily and the Necro simply carried their damages. We could last for a bit but ended up constantly wiping mid and couldn’t pull any stomps.

Or we’d stomp 2 people in mid but couldn’t take it, because 2xEle or ele/ranger self sustained long enough to get respawns back.

Some one lost the 1v1 fight vs ranger at home.

At one point we kept far & home but that didn’t last.

Ele+DH > Rev + dh on a 2v2 fight at far so we didn’t win that.

You’re right about one thing though, we fought in mid for way too long and our Rev should have been decapping far/home too. I also could have learned how to Ele and a Meteor could have also hit while we were playing. But it didn’t.. and I don’t.

Thanks for bringing that up because that’s that’s exactly what Anet needs to stop emphasizing. I picked up Overwatch and in 1 week of playing it and I mastered 5 classes off the bat. Intricate skill systems with most MMORPG’s like GW2, the average player will not play more than 1 class.

Maybe matchmaking doesn’t need to have a static un-swappable system but Matchmaking can definitely do a better job at creating decent team compositions for both parties. I’ve yet to see some one swap to another Ele even though we already have one, players just don’t do that stuff because they like to play the class they’re on rather than taking advantage of compositions.

Legacy of the Foefire map… just guess how that match turned out. For the record we downed Necro 3 times during a particular mid fight, thought that was humorous.

Lost with -2 more points than usual because Matchmaking only sees numbers on paper and thought the odds were against us.

I agree with Dark, Sce/Shield is a better set than Sce/Focus for the sake of Shield#5 + Scept#3’s immob combo to bunk some one off point. If Mes is doing well with Sce/Focus, more power to him.

Sw/Shield is nice for that teleport bubble knockback combo but it’s really only useful in a few situations.

Hello nothelseth!

I main and primarily play guardian/DH and currently am in low tier platinum though probably belong in high tier gold. While I am very confident in my mechanical skills, I think I lack when it comes to actually “playing” the game mode. My question is: Can you offer some general advice on rotations (for power-based guard/DH) and how they might differ for specific maps? Should I focus on side points, bunkering one specific point, avoid certain classes, try to isolate certain classes 1v1, +1 or not +1 certain scenarios?

I can answer this question, others can offer insight as well.


My initial rotational strategy when at start of game as Guardian, I ask myself whether or not I can 1v1 those opponents successful with few risks. If it’s Ranger, Engi, Ele. I’m definitely not going far at start unless I know i’m getting a +1. The fight will drag on for too long and you have no idea how well your team will do in mid.

You go far, win the fight but lose mid, you know respawns are coming so tell them to play sides. Odds are, the enemy team always has that 1 person sitting in Mid for 15 seconds before realizing he should probably rotate. Your respawns should be able to win back home unless they start zerging. Chill at far because you just downed some one but ask for help because you know some one from mid will come, making it a 1v2. Place traps around the node’s circle (not on). Also watch the respawn time to see whether or not the person you just beat is going far.

Please let me know for specific team comps or maps for a more detailed explanation for that situation.


Foefire map. The enemy has any 2 combination of Engi, Ranger, Ele, you’re likely not going to take Mid all that easily (unless they’re bad). If that’s the case and your team comp is 0 Engi/Ranger/Ele, you WANT to communicate with your team to play sides before the game begins. Just say “Play sides if we lose mid” or “We have no sustains, we may have to go sides”. Even saying things like “Rotate around their Ele” helps tremendously when other players have 0 clue on their rotations.

I wouldn’t straight up say “we got to play sides”. Most people don’t like to be given orders but if you mention their team comp and what your team should do, it just helps. If you have that 1 or 2 players say “should we go sides at start?”, that’s a huge bonus. Agree with them and say where you’re going. In pug matches it doesn’t really matter whether 3 or 2 goes far at start because people are going to do their own thing anyways.

Believe it or not, 3/5 times your team will listen if you give opening advice. Players will read what you’re saying, then subconciously want to play sides if there’s ever a mid wipe. Repeat yourself cordially if need be, but not too excessively.


You MUST pay attention to the bottom right of your screen when it comes to respawns. Train yourself to look at the bottom right hand corner when ever you rotate to the enemy’s home because if some one just died, then you’ll have 15 seconds until they spawn. If some one died but their Name in the corner dissapears, you probably wont even have enough time to decap (because we’re guards) as they’ll likely get there before you will.

The biggest mistake people make are leaving a point when some one else is coming (they didn’t have map awareness) or they fight a self sustaining class like Engi, Ele, Ranger on a point that’s already theirs. The fight lasts waayy too long for any good to come of it. It’s just risky, and you’re not doing any good to your team who may have needed a DH’s +1 burst elsewhere.


At the first Mid fights, I almost always try to down Rev or Necro before they enter mid. I use Sword + Judge’s to get in close to burst, Revs never expect it. They’ll be less than half health before they go defensively and the same works vs Necros. This strat works best in Niflhel because you can cut across to them with teleports before they get to mid and/or you can use Sword#2 to teleport to mid if there’s some one up the stairs.

Worse case scenario, you’re stuck on a 2v3 and die but their cds are wasted and you did quite a bit of damage. Best case, you drop them like flies and win the mid fight. Strat works great if you had a thief or rev with the same idea. It’s almost never bad to do this strat vs a Necro because you need to burst them as quickly as possible so they can’t gain much lifeforce.

Between 100 to 250 were the average amount of games played from players in previous seasons, so a 200 game Minimum simply isn’t a realistic number for “minimum games played” in each season.

If Anet wants to still keep Placements, it should be a minimum of 50 games. THEN have it show what your rating is and what division you fall into.

Not to sound like this thread was made prematurely but I found a build that’s more to my preference, still utilizing ToF but with Soaring Devistation like how Arcaedus put it.

Current Build

Eagle runes for added crit with 6% dmg modifier since I don’t need speed or runes with Swiftness. Dmg modifiers totals to 43%, assuming I have Aegis on, and not counting 1% per boon I may have or target with vulnerabilities.

It’s always heartbreaking when LB#2 doesn’t crit, so using accuracy sigs for that reason (otherwise opt for blood sigs).

I’m not as frustrated with ToF anymore if everything else hits like a truck

Nope just punishing. You already had your chance to dodge the tether. Now your options are to break it or stab it which is pretty forgiving. Skills that bind will hit anyways to promote good gameplay. You don’t get 2 chances to dodge the same skill. If you fail you counterplay it or accept it.

Actually to dodge it requires either lucky dodge spam or Jedi senses at a 1/4 second cast time with literally zero tell.

This means if you are semi competent and do not currently have a diagnosed mental handicap you should land 90% of your Spear of Justices on a DH.

That is a problem and needs proper balancing from Anet. Look for DH nerfs on skill floors at the next balance patch with a target on Spear of Justice

Actually, it’s not a problem at all if Anet intended for it to be very hard to dodge in the first place. Don’t pretend you know what Anet intended for how the skill should work.

Devs have also stated that the reward for the low,skill floor of DH is,a problem.

Spear of Justice is one of those skills that exemplifies that problem.

Either it works, therefore DH works, and other players complain or it doesn’t work at all and we’re needing buffs to be viable in the meta.

F1 spear isn’t game breaking nor is it uncounterable… several classes have either invulnerabilities, Stability, or an instant stunbreaker for when the DH pulls you. Regardless, you CAN dodge the initial F1 throw (an obvious animation).

If F1 spear kills you, it’s a learn to play issue.

Great suggestion guys and I appreciate the comments. In terms of scept/shield, I guess I liked the extra cc but it may not be justified. I’ll be mixing up builds a bit to see what my preference are.

FYI the damage and immobilize AoE has a range of 600 and lands behind you if you use it at max range.

This is reflected in the blue animation also landing behind you.

It’s a bug that was never fixed when they extended the range of the leap from 600-800 during beta, just disorganized skill updating methods =/

I’ve been running Soaring Devastation with hammer, but I still keep ToF to force dodges & its synergies with hammer 4 and 5.

Worth mentioning the Soaring’s damage is calculated with the weapon strength of your active weapon, so a longbow is 5% higher than your one-hands, and a hammer/staff/greatsword is 10% higher. The coefficient is 1.5, putting it at 85.7% of Hammer 2’s damage. Pretty strong.

Having your F2 leap proc glacial heart + sigils when used in conjunction with SC and SC-on-heal trait can give you some surprising and disgusting burst damage. Then you have to remember that you’re also AoE healing, self cleansing, and immobing for 3s. It’s a fun trait.

Ele needed on every team… a Necro with no support, other than those 2 thieves on his team.. there’s bigger problems than worrying about whether or not our teamates see’s each other’s numbers.

My utility bar is Smite, Judge’s and Contemplation. Got tired of being dependent entirely on ToF’s “combos” and its niche style of play in general. Not to mention the trap Slow absolutely sucks. Platinum is getting more ridiculous, this improvised build is a refreshing.

My child, that’s why I take F2’s upgraded trait, Soaring Devastation. Hits for 2k crit or 5k with might stacks. The niche value lessens compared to ToF, you gain greater support vs condi classes with medi utilities and overall more sustains in a fight.

Current Build

It’s a play style in a different direction that utilizes a higher value of CC with an additional F2 immob, Scepter and Shield#5. Here’s a small gist for players who are overly defendant on traps and are not knowing how to use scepter+X with LB from the get go.

Favorite combo would be LB#4 aoe symbol, swap to Scept#2 then Scept#3 to immobilize in aoe. Use the combo after a successful land of LB#5 in a group setting.

-My bursts usually consists of:
F3 (to prevent CC),
F2 aoe dps (land Smite Condition before you land,
LB#3 push, LB#2 trueshot.
-Swap to scepter to gain a dodge and a hydromancy for when they don’t get knocked back, immob and keeping your distance. Survive long enough to get cd’s back or simply Renewed Focus for another F2 immob bomb. Most don’t expect this burst type, leaving themselves vulnerable when they think you’re easy to burst down.

Don’t get caught getting your F2 interrupted.
If there’s heavy AoE going on you’re probably best using F3 in conjunction with F2. So don’t just use F2 in a mid fight thinking you can just enter with a bomb. If you do, try to not land on top of targets but rather right next to them. This prevents any LoS CC that target may be doing.

Instead of any normal Joe winning their first 12 games resulting in the Leaderboards placing him as top NA player rating of 2100+, how about, let’s not instead.

We see top tiers placing well, then gradually getting lower in ratings as games played increases. Anet knows why, as they’ve stated that the more games you play the greater the accuracy of mmr/ratings are.

So why the heck does a 10 game “Placement” system have so much emphasis on actual rating rather than the long haul? Players who automatically placed in Legendary or Platinum don’t have to grind any more than they have to… they can even wait a few days, have decay hit, then win (or lose) and it’ll always yield a positive rating. I was forced to grind through the Silver division to my normal Platinum rating… why shouldn’t everyone do that? It should be a fair system, not some “luck” streak.. or some unlucky “dc’d player” losing streak.

We needed Season 5 in Season 1, gj on improving that aspect but moving forward.. The answer is pretty obvious. Please address it in Season 6.

We don’t have in-game voip and it’s slow to type to gain map info from players… So why do we not have layered class icons on the minimap? A Dev way back when even awknowledged that it’s a function needed.

Complaining why/how a person died in a 1v1 only to get there and it’s a 1v2 because icons stack over each over… come on, help us solo players out. This directly reflects rotational decisions.

It’s not that it’s terrible per say… it’s just that a power DH w/ LB will runs circles around it. You simply wont out perform a LB dh and i’d love to duel that specific build with my dh build.

It’s not on meta battle because there’s no reason for it to be.. unless there’s a non-HoT section on that site or something.

you can go with carrion also and replace CoP with merciful intervention for more direct dmg sustain with another 5k heal

Funny, I recently swapped out Radiance for Zeal as well. Except i went with Retal on Aegis because that can be devastating in a group. It also syncronizes well with Litany. I left Torch for Shield for more Aegis and a knockback.

Blinding Jeopardy isn’t that great. Go Kindled Zeal. With Carrion amulet, you’d be crazy not to. Once you reach a certain might stack the trait will yield more damage than Radiance’s 15% increased burns and way more than blinding jeopardy could ever possibly dish out. Especially if you decide to go Might stacking with Scepter.

Still calling for EVan to take a look at my matches and tell me if this an error in matchmaking or plain unluck.

The game doesn’t say,
“Ok I picked two thieves and two guards based on mmr. Though it would average mmr these two teams if the theives were together, I wont because, duh.”

It’s more like,
“I can’t see the classes these players are playing to determine class vs class win averages, so i’ll just do my best to balance the mmr on the two teams.

So unfortunately for you, the comp you face and the comp on your team is 100% based on luck, per matchmaking balancing mmr.

Anyone in the top 5 or 10 can and will lose a game for an immediate -30 points. “Grinding lower players” has nothing to do with rating distribution.

booMs, I would have stopped at 2050 rating where u were, unless some one else got over you and you wanted to grind it out.

I really like how the leagues are set because 1) A person can’t just grind to 10k plus rating and leave everyone in the dust. 2) There needs to be a hard risk for being top 5. Either the 1000 people below you grind their games to catch up or you risk getting that 1 unfortunate game that caused you 4 hours worth of grind and grit.

I think it’s fair, gotta applaud Anet’s decision on that one. Keeps things interesting in the upper Leagues.

Best Class Build None HoT Upgrade?

Condi burst build performs better than power core in certain areas. Make a power guard for when you get countered by Ele/Engi/War/DH cleanses and sustains they bring on point. Regardless, you’ll likely be forced to play sides with power guard. Maybe even go Zerkers if they don’t have a thief.

Oh, I am not defending the OP. He seems to have…let’s say..exagerated his losses.
So not much sympathy for him there.

But that’s no excuse for an ANET Dev to reply in that condescending tone.
I repeat: if we could analyse Evan’s decisions and coding as thoroughly as he did and if we used the same tone as he did….it wouldn’t be a pretty post, would it?

I mean, it’s not like PvP is very good and balanced at the moment so maybe Evan should show a little me more…restraint.

… maybe in wvw but there is no efficient condi DH build in SPvP. Also, Core Burn Guard (what is effective) don’t spam conditions on point lest they risk being incredibly vulnerable. PF+Judges is your equivalent of full trap DH. It just doesn’t work pass Plat.

War, Mesmers, Power DH, Engi, can counter core burn Guard. Arguably so can good Rangers & Revs in dueling servers so, it really depends on who you’re fighting and what the team comp is.

First Week of the Season

Burn DH aren’t running traps.^ it’s still ji pf. You push it into higher tiers by going further than the 11 stacks you mentioned. Get good at it and push for 25 instant kill.

PF’s effectiveness lags behind Smite Condition & CoP in the higher levels. The casting time can really hurt you in clutch situations; like wise, Smite & CoP can save you.

It does depend on what kind of team composition the other team has. I roll with Burn Burst Core at the start of every game until I initially die, then run Power Medi. When Burn Guard works, it really works, capable of 1v2ing efficiently, offering team wide condi pressure that your comp may need.

My placement matches were terrible so i’m grinding it out but overall, this Season has been very fun for me at a steady 60% win rate.

And once again: The solo/duo queue was voted for by the community.

If you want to complain about it, complain to your fellow players not Arena Net.

And once again, there has never been a dedicated 5v5 only Team Queue. It has always been mixed, which fostered the hate for Team Queue, which gave us the results we see in the polls. So constantly making reference to the polls is really pointless.

Anet needs to put in the effort to foster a healthy 5v5 only Team Queue. Having rewards exclusive to Team Queue is a great way to do so too.

…what’s pointless is thinking a 5 man team queue only, would suddenly work. You must be insane, or just unknowing of how long these premades actually had to wait for a match. There were 15++ minute queue times in the last system and that system allowed duo/trio teams to play against premades.

Those who say “premades farming pubs..”, gosh, such a laugh.. I’m no vegan grower but i’m pretty sure that getting Fast Games back to back is the definition of farming; – Good SoloQ Grinders were the definition of “Farmers” and they were the ones who out voted 5man premades when Anet set up the polling.

You have no evidence to support your, “5v5 only Team Queue is healthy” theory. Quite the contrary, it’s not.

Gained +2 points with Legen rank on team?

When I get a duo Legendary teammate on my team (guild mates) by luck, I gained +2 more rating points than usual. The match was an utter blowout… didn’t feel challenged at all, even when I was 1v1ing or 1v2ing. I was just curious what that extra +2 point gained was for.

A few games later I find a duo partner (a would be Plat) and win several more games in a row. The wins yield +2 or +3 more rating than usual which tells me that my mmr is lower than the enemy comp on the other side.

The question then is, do I or do I not perform as good or better than Plat or Legendary teams? If I do, as seen from the above games, why do I not gain more points if I were to go solo? I understand if Matchmaking thinks i’m a chump player considering I did the absolute worse in those initial 10 placement games but if I can clearly soar with the eagles then why does matchmaking think i’m an owl?

The sigil of bursting isn’t showing any significant (not at all) increase of condi damages, especially when stacked.

Duo queue doesn’t offer advantages other than the fact that your partner may be the best teamate you have out of the 3 other pugs you’ll get. Matchmaking doesn’t know by how much better or worse. All it can do is average the two team’s mmr evenly the best it can.

Invites are kind of like asking a person out. Statistically, 1 out of 20 people you ask will say yes. You just got to put in the effort and ask around.

As of now I’m at 1137. I guess I have lost count of losses… since every loss costs more than a win. I’ve lost 52% of my games now as opposed to winning 58%. I tried dragonhunter for a couple matches but if I think I’m a crap thief… i’m a worse dh.

You’ll be a better DH because of the skill floor between the two classes. In this way, you’ll pick up DH quicker and learn the class’s weakness’s and strengths. Find a thief who can beat you and find out how he did it.

Also all those games are on thief, maybe you could switch up your play a bit and then come back to thief.

Valid, before throwing away OPs thread because u stated some numbers, why not address the major issues with ur game.

What about the major issues with OP’s Thief? I’ve seen plenty of thieves taken down DH at half health and backcap points with ez. Even against a multi Guard comp. OP, can you do that?

With that many games lost @ his record that Evan gave, it’s clear something is not working out with the op.

I think the amount of times you die in a match determines skill somewhat. I also think the amount of healing/dps/boons you have in a match determines how much you contributed to the team somewhat as well. Those should be bigger factors for points awarded in a match.

Absolutely. There’s a multitude of factors that needs to be taken into account. The fact that Anet implemented a Defense statistic, “Fighting near a contested or owned objective” means 1) They’re in the right direction. And 2) They have the tech to add such coding.

They just need to add more “smart statistics”, then eventually make a new metric that governs in game performance to an extent. Not a sole determinant, just a suplement i.e +5 rating or -5 rating at match’s end.

Absolute resolution is eons better for the majority of players on your team.

Unless you’re with a team who doesn’t need condi cleanses, and you’re a bunker who doesn’t need it either but could use additional sustains. I can’t imagine any non-bunker guard using it.

U wanted a lot of points for a win vs a 1700 rated team while u are 1900 rated?

How long does it take to take ascended armor/weapon if you play like 10 hours a day?

If you’re moving up relatively fast (60% win rate) you can gear up pretty quickly. I got the chest and 2nd armor in 2-3 days and I only play about 4hrs, give or take.

no, duo q is not healthy,duo q stagnates the meta in teambuilds that arent healthy for a soloq environement.
in a pure solo q environement the builds have to evolve to a more selfish ones, you cant expect suport for your sustain that makes pure dps builds squishy or dps if you are pure tank or substain that makes pure sustain/tank weak also , you have to build it up, but duo q bring players whith cordinated builds on the board(dps-suport, tank-tank, whith diferent specs that one covers the faults of other, or another tricky composition of interdependant builts ) that dominate the game clearly

You have no evidence to back up what ever gibberish your trying to say.

I’ve seen double glass, double sustains and a mix of both. Sometimes players don’t coordinate with each other, they just queue together because they think the other is good, like me and my ele friend I just met.

There’s nothing wrong with duo.. it’s ridiculously easy to find a +1. If you want pvp to be easier then play in hot joins rather than a PvP League that’s literally meant to be difficult.

Your answer, no, there is no in-game measurement of skill in the way you described. If you do better on your thief then use him. Other than that, 7w 3L is in no way a measurement of in game skill. The obvious argument seen on the forums regarding Ratings/league placement.

obviously you dont know what you are talking about. I started at 600 and now i am at 850. How do you carry a team that is trio capping close at the beginning of the game? I mean of course im climbing but you cant just carry every game, and the games i lose make me lose all my motivation to continue playing.
Btw I played now 5 games with a mate, we won all of them. Maybe its just duoq which solves the problem.

U are playing vs 600 mmr ppl. Ofc u can carry every game lol. There are no good players with u…..but at 600 there are no good players against you either.

I would see full trap guards die to 2 players, i stop above his downed body to laugh, then I’d proceed to 1v2 the people he died to. Consistently. So i’d have to agree with Locuz because i’ve 1v2 every so often when I was in lower Silver.

I also agree with OP that it wouldn’t happen every game. Sometimes your team lose every fight so unless you’re a good theif able to port and be at places instantly, you simply wont carry the game every time.

I’ll take +10 pts for a win any days lmao. At my “top 20 MMR” the average is like +3 to +7. A “hard game/scrims level” game would give me 12-16pts at most. When I lose it minimum 14 pts. If you’re getting +10 that Mean you’re not really in gold but low Plat. You know your MMR settle down when you’re getting +3 to +8. Eventually it become a grind but that’s how every MMR system works. (LOL, CSGO, OW, dota2) I think people need to look at it like this. If 1 win reward you average of +10 then on paper if you win 3 or 4 then lose 1 then eventually you’ll get to where you think you should be. If you seem to be losing more than winning and start to tilt and play badly then it is on you. You can’t blame other for losing if you are tilting and not performing your best. I know when I lose and I did not perform at the level I expect out of myself (1v2 for a minimum of 45 seconds or longer for example) then I have no one to blame but myself.

The system is flawed in that a PvE care bear can get lucky and place in legend. But rest assured, me and the boys will actively snipe and play our best if we ever encounter those specific “lucky” players. If they’re really deserve that rating with playing 1 game every 3 days then they deserve it. But if they don’t, they will get weed out by end of season.

This explanation would be the best answer i’ve seen so far, if it was true.

My question to you is this then… why on God’s green earth am I gaining 10 points in Gold Tier 2 but considered “low Platinum” compared to another Gold player who’s getting 30 points per win? What is he considered? High Bronze?

Being only slightly above average, and making it into the top 250 with 3 different accounts are mutually exclusive.

If you are truly only “slightly better than average” then you will drop out of the top 250 as the season goes on. Otherwise you are not just “slightly above average”

Im not saying everyone should be top 250. Im saying that people should be able to climb out of the low divsions if they think they dont belong there.

The point is, we shouldn’t be placed in Bronze or Silver due to bad placement matches caused by dc’s, leavers, trolls, etc. I have friends including myself who have to grind out wins to get to our true position in the leagues. There’s no secondary mechanic (like Overwatch) that determines how much rating we can gain, based on statistics or other players we fight.

Players can win their 10 games and sit at their high rating pool, only needing to play 1 game every 48hrs (is it 48?) to prevent rating decay.

The incredibly inaccurate placement matches shouldn’t exit at all. If those players were so good, let them climb out of the lower division pools like other unlucky players.

So I did terrible in my placement matches and got a Silver rating. Helped out a friend reach Plat in his placement matches, started duoing with him, receiving 30 points per win, then 20 points, now 18 points. I win the majority of my soloQ when i’m not duoing and now.. i’m at 10-12 points per win.

I’m 35W – 21L in Gold tier2. A player I know who is in gold receives 30 points per win. I used to receive 30 points per win but now it has gone down to 16, and now recently today, 10 points per win. Why is another player in Gold receiving more win points than me?

My win % is going up but.. does League think I’m not suppose to be moving up? Is my “mmr” starting to settle even though I have a 62% win rate? If my win streak goes up, will I continue to get 10 points or will it be more?

If anyone has any answers, i’d appreciate it.
