If it were working correctly, this matchup wouldn’t ever happen. I mean, even if we were all super terrible and lost every game, we still shouldn’t be playing three lvl 1’s.

Have you played PvE on any server other than Anvil Rock? I think you should, you might be surprised.

They will make money from custom arenas. That’s basically it.

Well when I actually played often, I pvp’d on my engi, and it’s pretty important to not waste your main spike.

tickets are dumb. just get rid of them and add a proper ladder. if you want to gate content do it with a skill based ranking requirement.

I don’t actually run paids ALL day, and honestly I haven’t personally ran out – yet. I had over 100 when the 1v1 paid style started, and now I’m probably down to less than 20. But, some of the people I run with are out pretty often, so we run frees. Also, a little map variation is nice.

I just looked into this. The problem is that you currently only earn the sword if you have exactly 10 HoM points. It might be too late for us to get a fix in for the Feb 26th build, but a fix will be coming.

You’re saying we need exactly 10 HoM points? So we can’t get it for PvP if we have 11+ points? I have like 40ish points and can use for PvE, so must be a PvP only thing.

Yeah, it’s been known, by the players at least, for a while now – we haven’t been able to get it, except a select few.

When you call a target on someone, in your chat it shows 1, but in everyone else’s it shows 3 times.

From a decision making stand point, i dont know why you made the rank stomps a consumable token.

I know there’s lots of things on your plate, but in order to improve on the system I’d recommend something where it automatically tiger stomps when you’re tiger rank and there would be a toggle where you can turn it on and off in the options.

Then the only the holiday/event consumables would be available.

With this change everyone would know what rank bracket the person who’s stomping them is. We dont need rank 50+ running around with rabbit finishers imo. Also, we wouldn’t have to keep using these consumables if we were bothered enough to show our rank in hotjoins/wvw.

When you put this much time ranking up in PvP you want to show off. It just should be a permanent option. And you should not be able to use “finishers” that are lower ranked then you actual are to confuse ppl.

A option to buy a permanent “finisher” that adjust with your rank all the time for lets say 200 000 glory or something is an option.

But best option would be to just have it as a option to put this “on” and “off” thru panel.

Why would you encourage people to rank up – so, you get to see even more zergs in hot join? I have never used a Glory Booster in my life, as rank means absolutely nothing.

Also, the rank system in this game is honestly the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in any game. You do not even want to count all the people that stand on a point you’re capping alone – because the 10 glory is more important than winning the game. That does not make one good, but bad.

They should just remove the rank system all together, so it becomes a team game like it is supposed to be. Not a personal “rather glory than win” game.

At the very bottom of the hotjoin list, there are 5v5 servers. Try those, they’re a little better.

My engineer, in PvP.

I play the 100 nade build, yeah, I can burst you down in an instant, depending on the class. But I have to literally be INSIDE of you. It’s not the easiest thing to pull off. Also, I can do it from stealth, but it’s only 4 seconds, not as bad as a thief imo.

In terms of going invulnerable, if you’re carrying a bundle you usually can’t without dropping it, will this be the case with the orb?

You’d force warriors to spec out something they might not normally want just to run a decent heal. Why?

It would add a lot of gold to the game. Exchanging it for exp is an interesting idea, but this isn’t the type of game where you have to grind levels very much. Karma is a nice idea.

So I decided to go with engineer, won 1st place in my first free tourney. Having lots of fun, think I made a good choice. I can’t wait until I have a solid grasp on everything the class has to offer – and being an engineer, it might take a while.

Great choice, can honestly say its the engineer profession that has kept me in love with this game, loads of fun builds , some far simpler than others to be effective with. There is an updated post on engi forums with recent builds maybe you will care to look at and get you tuned into the profession.

Cool, thanks, I’ll do that. Been running 100 nades and have been having a lot of fun. The insta spikes from stealth are awesome, I just need to get a little better and more useful in between bursts.

I’m not sure about an engineer, but at least as a warrior, having the enemy use their heal is just part of the fight. Sure, you’d like to interrupt them if you could, but they’ll just try to use it again 3 seconds later, and if you don’t have your burst charged up – they’re gonna get it off. Especially if the fight is just starting, sometimes you simply just can’t out dps someone right off the bat.

The answer is just staying alive yourself long enough to dps them after their heals are gone.
