As an Engineer, I use combos all the time. In fact, I rely on them. And this change is actually a little buff to my Elixir Gun, which happens to have a light field and blast finisher, so I’m happy.

Sorry but Flamethrower was always a crappy power weapon. You can stack might even better and do more damage with hammer auto attacks. Also, might boosts condi damage as well, so not sure why everyone feels flamethrower was supposed to be a power weapon.

It was a hybrid weapon, with low power and condi damage. Power used it for #2 and that’s it in PvE. I’m glad they gave the flamethrower a more defined role and I hope to see much much more of this for the other kits.

@Ithilwen.1529-Why would you assume sarcasm? Is it because the build, when played correctly, contradicts your narrative? Mantra Mesmer does a ridiculous amount of burst with a very short cool down between burst cycles. AND can be done from stealth. It will global most builds that do not have an immunity and more often ones that do not proc an auto immunity like Defy Pain and Self-Regulating Defenses.

Please do post that build. I don’t think it exists.. but I’d be happy to test the idea. I thought you were sarcastic because your claim sounded, well, chimerical.

Again, please post that build, I’d love to try it.

I have fought a build much like the one mentioned on a duel server. Was just messing around, but the damage that was done in just a single moment was enough to drop me into down state, and the attack came from stealth. Can’t remember the build, but it most definitely does exist.

blame the game mode. bunks will always dominate conquest.

Bunks exist because ele , ranger, mesmer, and engi CANNOT build anything that isn’t bunk and not end up farmed by a warrior/DH/thief.

Go play a berk ele/ranger and see how you fare against warrior/thief.

Yeah, I remember always playing Static Discharge Engi and having fun until a Thief came along. Thieves and Mesmers consider themselves high risk because they apparently have to play riskier amulets, but it is nowhere near as much risk as it is for some other classes if they wanted to build to put out similar damage.

My point is that there is no reward for playing other than the safe “meta” choice. This is the reason for excessive queue stacks and for the current chorus of cries to nerf DH and war + engie

Who exactly is asking for Engi nerfs? You’re the only one I’ve seen so far. Engi (Scrapper) is not in an op spot at all right now.

One thing I do hate though is classes being able to do too much at once. As much as Thieves annoy me since it is very difficult to play anything glassy around them, I think they have great design. They may have many options to disengage and reset fights, but they don’t have insane defense or healing to go along with high damage. They may have great evades, but if you catch one, even for a second, you can destroy him.

Now for example another class I have played on, the shoutbow druid. With shoutbow druid, I have many opportunities to reset a fight, I have great support, great ressing, great survival, and pretty nice burst damage. The only sacrifice is that I’m not much of a threat in a team fight.

I don’t feel that bunker classes should be putting out much damage and vise versa. Perhaps the issue is that many skills are not very stat reliant, and some amulets give too much in terms of different stats. Then there is the issues of skills that allow players to defend and attack at the same time. Nearly every class is guilty of this one, including mesmer.

However, unless a massive redesign happens, none of this is going to change much.

If Anet ever made ranked PvP 5-mans only, PvP would die instantly that day and queues would be hours long (yes I’m exaggerating a bit, but it would make it so no PvEer comes out in numbers).

Please, PvE players know how to use the lfg tool better than anyone else. PvP would be just fine if it was 5-man queue only. Only the anti-social players and really bad players that no one wants would have issues.

True you remove 1 condi when consuming elixirs. So let’s see we have 2 condi removed from healing turret, 3 from Elixir Gun, 2 each from Elixir B, U, and X. If you are still having issues with conditions after that, I suppose you could swap out Elixir B or U for Elixir C.

It’s just been unnecessary for me so far. When fighting mesmers, dodge into the shatters. Warriors, kite berserk mode or just cleanse through it. Necromancers, just cc them to death and kite reaper shroud.

Also, I can’t think of a single time where my elixirs have been interrupted. I mean, you’d have to be not paying attention at all and just stand there as the mesmer clones come running at you. Lol.

there is nothing new . In my opinion the variant with elixir S and elixir C with all necro and mesmer around is stronger . The problem of this and other builds is that the meta with bulk gyro is stronger … and in any case the game play is the same of the meta. It is a melee class like warrior, something that many old engi players don’t love (who began before hot … 2012.. 2013.. ) . Engineer at start had a completely different gameplay and it was more fun.It was not a bruiser, you had to move for stay alive and to play piano … But now… we have this kitten of scrapper only viable ….

So as for the issue with mesmers and necromancers, like I said the build has plenty of access to condi clear, mesmers are super fragile outside of blocks and whatnot, and it is extremely easy to simply cc necromancers to death. So haven’t run into any issues there yet.

Exactly. Like I said, multiple kits per build are mandatory for top damage in PvE due to key damaging skills being spread throughout each kit. I believe giving each kit a designated role to fill will free up utility slots for other skills that are often over-looked. This would could also help with balancing the engineer across all game modes in the future as well.

Not sure if anyone has tried this or not, but it is tons of fun. Basically just started with the in game template build, and kept tweaking it for more and more damage. Tried to avoid sacrificing too much survival.

So far with this build (keep in mind it’s off-season of course) I can dish out some pretty hefty damage, I have consistently high might stacks, high up-time on quickness, pretty decent condi clear, and two stun-breaks and a bit of stability.

The fun part about this build though, is Elixir X’s synergy with the build. While transformed, stability is constantly pulsing, meaning might is constantly pulsing, meaning at some point we’re getting more quickness. So I run up on a big mid fight, pop Elixir B mainly for might and fury, pop Elixir U to start things off with quickness, then pop Elixir X and pray for Rampage.

Rampage with high might stacks, quickness, and fury, is insanely fun. I have won many 1v2’s with this and wiped enemy teams in group fights with this. If you do get Tornado, it’s not the end of the world, you’ll just be focusing on AoE cc more and not so much damage.

So anyways, if you’re tired of the typical bruiser scrapper and want to toy with something during the off-season, give this a try. If you see room for improvements (not total remakes, just tweaks) then leave a comment below and let me know.

I prefer something a bit different. Kits are so mandatory in pve due to each kit having some sort of high damage skill. For instance with the condi build, you have flamethrower for the napalm and incendiary ammo, bomb kit for fire bomb and concussion bomb, grenade kit for just about everything in it. For power build we have grenade kit again for just about everything in it, flamethrower for the #2, elixir gun for acid bomb.

Point is, each kit doe not have it’s own purpose really. We have to take multiple kits for a skill or 2 that each kit has. What I feel they should do is give each kit a more defined purpose. Elixir gun should be purely for buffing and removing conditions. Med kit should be for pure support, just better than it does it now. Flamethrower could remain a hybrid weapon. Either grenade or bomb kit should be changed to pure power damage, and the other should change to pure condi damage. Then mortar can take the role as our long range hybrid.

Maybe flamethrower and mortar shouldn’t be hybrid though, I dunno. Perhaps it should just be more set up to where we have one kite for ranged power, one for ranged condi, one for melee power, one for melee condi, one for buffs and condi removal, one for healing.

However they change it, I just feel kits need a more defined purpose rather than spreading out skills that fill the same role across multiple different kits. This way, we’d only need a kit or two, and could take other utilities without sacrificing so much damage.

solo play or solo and duo here, 5 man have too much of an advantage against random, and there are not enough 5 man groups to maintain a 5 man queue.

What numbers are people basing this assumption off of when they say there isn’t a big enough population to have a separate 5 man queue? Is everyone here not already playing 5v5 matches. Do you not have short queue times? Are the other members on your team bots generated by Anet or something?

Population is not the issue here. The issue is the lack of incentive to put in the extra work to get a team together before queueing when you can just roll the dice and jump into a match solo and still get the same exact rewards. Incentive can be fixed, we’ve already seen this happen with pvp in general.

I get a strong feeling though that Anet intends for pvp to be casual battlegrounds now though, so doubt at this point we’ll ever see team queue or any sort of tournaments return.

Having team queue be for anything but 5-man teams is not a team queue, it’s a mixed queue, and it will still have all the problems that mixed queues have.

I propose E) Solo Queue (1 player only) and Team Queue (5 players only).

So I gave this build a shot because I like core Necro. Toyed around with the utilities a bit. I could never get much effectiveness out of cpc or spectral wall. I did however love using well of corruption with this build. So basically just went with the build exactly as it is in the link.

Overall, I’d say it felt alot like playing P/P Condi Engi. Strong condi burst and low sustain. Well of Corruption was great for me personally cause I couldn’t resist team fights and it was very helpful against Warriors and Eles.

It was actually really fun to play and surprisingly effective. Too bad it’s the offseason, but I’m gonna toy around with it a bit more tonight.

I’ve always felt that minimap pings and calling targets was effective enough. The real problem with communication in solo queue is that it is solo queue.

Arena Net should add Team Q only and Solo Only. So when TeamQ inevitably fails, people will not have to keep wondering why.

If they implement it without any proper incentives over solo queue then it will fail because people will not put in the extra work with no extra reward.

Personally, though I realize it will never happen, I feel unranked should be solo queue and ranked should be team queue. If you want to compete in, what I am assuming anet intends it to be, a competitive environment, then you should team up with 4 other players before queueing. And solo players won’t mind being limited to unranked, because every time someone talks about playing with a team of friends that’s where they tell them to go. So they seem to be cool with it already.

Oh, so now you want to basically replace soloq with teamq. How about that: they should make unranked teamq only. And remove any rewards from it. And teams won’t mind being limited to unranked because they have a possibility to compete hard and since there is no rewards they can be sure no pve plebs will disturb them.

Removing of teamq is one of the best things that happened with the game since pvp seasons were introduced.

My personal opinion does not reflect what I expect or want from the game. I have stated numerous times in other threads that solo queue would always have to stay due to people that absolutely can not socialize with others enough to queue as a team.

Also, my comment about making solo queue as unranked was in response to solo players always telling team players to go to unranked to play as if it is an acceptable alternative to ranked queue. So by that logic I could only assume that solo players are totally fine with unranked and wouldn’t mind having their queue restricted to unranked only. This of course is a joke meant to point out the logical flaws of telling team players to just stick to unranked. Apparently you either could not comprehend that or deliberately intend to take anything I say out of context.

Lastly, team queue was never removed, mixed queue was. People seem to be having a hard time understanding the difference there. Removing the mixed queue was indeed a great idea. Removing any way for teams to play in ranked at all in an mmo, not so much a great idea. As for it being the best thing to ever happen to pvp, can’t agree with that considering the forums still gets flooded nearly every day during the seasons about how all of their teammates suck, which happens to be a major consequence of the solo queue system.

Axe vs Dagger Mainhand?

Swap out Quickening Thirst in Blood Magic for Blood Bond since you do not have a dagger. Blood Bond will frequently proc due to Deathly Chill and will provide a bit of extra dps and heals.

Also not sure of Augury of Death is worth taking over Chilling Nova. Maybe, just not sure on that one, would have to test it out.

I wouldn’t take the Axe trait though, since most fights can be meleed. You won’t be swapping to Axe at all in your general rotation (I tried it during my dps tests, it was a hefty dps loss). Axe is mainly just to keep some damage up when you are forced out of melee range, or right at the start of the fight.

In coordinated groups, you shouldn’t need chilling victory since the group will provide might, and Decimated Defenses will give you a 100% crit chance in most fight. This will also make your crit sigils unnecessary and allow you to take a different sigil.

As for Dhuumfire, that would require you to drop Blood Magic for Soul Reaping. Soul Reaping would be better for a solo build, but Blood Magic is better for a group setting.

Axe vs Dagger Mainhand?

I actually just tested this with the Greatsword/X dungeon build from metabattle. Did the suggested rotation on veteran golem in raid dps test room with 25 stacks of might and 25 vuln (fury not needed due to trait). First tested with weapon swap to dagger warhorn included in rotation, then tested again without weapon swapping.

Swapping to dagger warhorn in the rotation did give better dps, but it was such a small dps gain that it really wasn’t worth it. Would rather have Axe offhand so I can have some ranged damage when I can’t melee for whatever reason.

courtyard – implement rounds, when your team wipes you restart. roster can be in custom arenas shuffled around each restart, but not in unranked/ranked. can spectate teammates when dead. first to (?) wins.

stronghold – instead of running supply, which imo ruins the game mode, you can summon 1 archer and 2 bombers on a 1min timer. both gain more hp and armor vs players. since supply is gone and the middle is sorta empty, add a mortar thing that spawns every couple of minutes that does low damage but has some other effect.
my idea for the mortar is it dazes for 3sec, heals npcs for 1k, and creates a 5sec lightning field that does 500 non critable damage.

Or just make it to where the mist champions are summoned from where the supply is now instead of on the side close to either team’s spawn.

Nobody wants the old system back, people want a separate team queue. You do not speak for everyone, certainly not me. Solo Queue is great for quick, casual games. Some people want a real competitive scene though, and not some cheap imitation.

Lol what? You want a real competitive scene in a PvE MMORPG, that makes it’s money off of power creepped expansion packs, like all other MMORPGs? Did I get that right?

Just let it go. If you are truly looking for a competitive scene. But was it sounds to me. Is that you are actually just looking for a causal scene to look more competitive.

There is a reason why some of the ESL players, no longer play this game’s PvP mode. Plus with the announcement of 4v4v4 Battlegrounds in ESO dropping in June. There is no way in hell ANet can compete and make money in the competitive PvP area now. More so after the shenanigans of the past 13 months in Ranked PvP. ANet is more then likely is too busy. Creating the next group of even more over the top power creepped up elite specs for the next expansion. Then yall can cry harder.

On a side note, I’m on the fence about ESO 4v4v4. From what I’ve heard so far, it will also be restricted to solo queue only. There’s also the crazy chaos in pvp from proc sets, curious to see what they do about that for the battlegrounds.

Lastly, don’t recall stating I personally wanted a more competitive scene. Pretty sure I said some people. Personally, I just enjoy playing with guild members and friends. Kinda the whole reason I play an mmo ya know? Clearly I’m crazy for thinking that way though.

Season 6 to remain solo/duo only

I’m on the fence between solo and premades, I’m mainly a solo queuer. On one hand it’s true that not all Premades are on coms, but on the other it’s still a advantage. Going into ranked as a premade, ranked is generally a place where you want to maximize your chance of winning the match, so coms is to be expected when you see premades, I really think people are just using the “it’s a team game” argument as a excuse. When you solo queue or duo, you can’t cherry pick the other 3-4 players on your team, while they aren’t cherry picked you still get a team. So technically it’s still a team game just not the type of team forming you want.

Now if Matchmaking balanced team distribution right as in like one team gets a trio queue the other team gets a trio queue as well (3, 1, 1 vs 3, 1,1) I’d be for supporting that. But what I’m guessing people want, is to have premades back to farm solo queuers when they propose team queues be brought back. If people just want to have fun with premades unranked is there, if they want a competative team, well there needs to be tournys or a way to fight other teams like a guild/team queue(With majorly improved rewards or even ascended shards) or setting up scrims with other teams.

Who is wanting mixed queues? Here I thought people wanted a team queue completely separate from solo queue. But you’re probably right, obviously people here want a 5v5 only queue so they can hack the game and farm the players in the completely separate solo queue.

Unranked is a great idea however. How about ranked queue be for 5-man teams only, and solo queue players can have unranked since you guys think it is so great?

With all do respect for your opinions, the game is perfect as it is, because people voted for Solo-Duo only in 5v5. This mechanic is not a choice of devs, or elite players, or ESL teams; but a choice of the majority of players in this game. Please respect that vote of many people. Please have the decency of trying to understand what others have asked for and voted, because many complaints were on this forum for Solo-Duo requests, and removal of teams. We should all be happy, we got what we asked for. Thank you ArenaNet for listening.

Actually, people voted to remove teams from solo queue, not to remove teams completely. A separate team queue has no affect on solo players in the slightest bit, and would actually help them by removing duo teams from solo queue.

The trait only procs on enemies that grant xp (there are many enemies in dungeons/fractals that don’t reward xp to prevent from being farmed), if you kill something while using one of the channeled skills, the trait won’t affect that skill, and it will work poorly in fights where there are not alot of mobs to kill. There is also the issue that you have to be camping in reaper’s shroud to make use of this trait, which would be a dps loss from camping greatsword.

So in all actuality, the trait doesn’t really help much at all. The OP is right, the trait definitely needs some improvements.

I use power reaper in every game mode and do just fine. In Fractals, should have no issue with going greatsword/axe-warhorn. From what I’ve seen recently, camping greatsword is more dps than swapping between greatsword and dagger. May be wrong on that but I’m pretty sure that is what the consensus has been lately. With that said, you can then easily swap out dagger for Axe and use it when, for whatever reason, you can’t fight in melee.

People whining against Solo/Duo queues in ranked are just using it an excuse for their own failure to win solo and requiring a premade to help carry their low skill kitten . .

So let me get this straight. Assuming that those players are bad as you claim, you’re saying that simply by queuing together as a group, they dominate? Despite still all being bad and likely unable to work together as a team. That’s ridiculous.

If you’re talking about top players queuing with bottom players, then there’s a limit to how far they go, and it will be well below the top 250. This can be addressed by putting a limit on the difference between min and max rating in a team queue.

Players asking for team queue want it :

  • So that they can play with friends
  • Because they enjoy the depth of teamplay which is absent from solo/duo queue

First of all that’s not what i said. my point being that a weaker player can get carried into a much higher division by queuing with better friends. Im not talking about single celled amoeba players, im talking silver player teaming up with high gold/plat players can easily get carried into gold just by being in a team. Its been talked about plenty of times and pretty much accepted.

Second your request for playing with “friends” can be done with unranked if friends is what you consider most important. Now if you say you want to Q ranked with friends then im also in agreement with most people in that we should have separate queues,

Solo Q and Team Q. What i don’t agree with is a mixed queue where you can q 4-5 people and come across solos (yes i know 5 team cant meet 5 solo it meets 3 solo 1 duo).

Who is it that keeps asking for mixed queues? I keep seeing all these responses about people not wanting mixed queue every time someone is asking for a separate team queue. I don’t get it, why even bring up mixed queues?

Also, you say a silver player can get a higher rating than he deserves by teaming up with his gold friend? I don’t get it, hasn’t everyone in these forums been talking about how you can’t carry other players? A silver player on a team of gold players against another team of all gold players is still dragging his team down, unless he is actually a gold player stuck in silver. Also not sure what’s wrong with players performing better in a team they can coordinate with. I mean, that’s kinda the point. It’s a team game. You’re supposed to coordinate with eachother to win.

Nobody wants the old system back, people want a separate team queue. You do not speak for everyone, certainly not me. Solo Queue is great for quick, casual games. Some people want a real competitive scene though, and not some cheap imitation.

Here we go again…just gonna drop my opinions on this and clear a few things up.

  • There used to be a Team Queue and Solo Queue and it didn’t work.
    Let’s clear this one up first, there was a Solo Queue and a Mixed Queue. There was no pure 5v5 Team Queue. Of course Mixed Queue had longer queue times. That’s what happens when both Solo Queue and Mixed Queue offer the same exact rewards. Why play tier 4 fractals if I could get the same exact rewards from tier 1 fractals with much less effort?
  • There isn’t a large enough population to support Team Queue.
    This could very well be true, then again Anet can consistently put me and many many others in a team in less than 2 minutes any time of the day. I’d argue that the population is there, the incentive is not.
  • The players voted for to remove Team Queue and everyone loves it.
    The players voted to remove Mixed Queue, not Team Queue, due to traumatizing matches they had against teams while playing solo. As for players preferring solo/duo queue, that isn’t the consensus that I get from the forums. I’ve seen quite a few threads asking for a separate 5v5 only Team Queue, many threads blaming duo queues for their losses, and countless threads of people blaming the teammates that solo queue gave them for their losses. But hey, at least we have fast queues now right?

The current Solo/Duo Queue PvP format reminds me alot of WoW battlegrounds. It’s great for casual PvP that you can just jump right in. But then we also have these leagues and Leaderboards attached to it, which is fine I guess so long as you don’t think you can just slap a leaderboard on a casual game mode and magically make it a competitive PvP environment.

I think alot of the frustration comes from people that want a competitive PvP environment, despite all traces of it having been removed from the game. These people had high hopes for the GW2 PvP scene. However, in-game tournaments, world tournaments, guild teams, and the ability to queue as a full team in ranked have all been removed it seems.

It feels like Anet is leaning towards more of a casual PvP scene for the future. This is fine, just not good news for people that want a competitive scene or those that play an mmo to, you know, play with their friends. Honestly, without proper implementation, Team Queue won’t work because there just enough interest in it, and Anet hasn’t given players any incentive to develop an interest in it.

Would like to point out that the changes hurt Necromancer’s who use the wurm port as well. It is our only reliable disengage from a fight. I used to put it on the clock tower roof to make an escape when I got focused too hard on mid.

It makes no sense really. This solo/duo queue system is horrible. Solo queue players still complain every time the other team has more duo teams than they do, and team players still complain that they can’t queue as a team. The current system isn’t working for either side. So now we’re in a situation where Anet caved in to a bunch of whiners, gave everyone a system they didn’t want, and now they don’t want to hear what we think about it through the poll they said they’d have?

PvP now just feels like the casual battlegrounds from WoW with a leaderboard attached. With no tournaments being announced either, I guess Anet just has no plans for competitive PvP anymore. Kinda just feels like they’ve given up on that. Hopefully, if they intend for PvP to just be casual battlegrounds, they can at least give us more game modes like capture the flag and what not.

Couldn’t compete? Ha! BS. Then they should’ve left at the START of the season where it was known that 5v5 wasn’t going to be in.

No no no. They left because the e-sport money dried up, pure and simple.

Couldn’t compete as in there is now nowhere left for them to play as a team in a competitive environment, that isn’t just limited to the absence of 5v5 team queues, nor is it indicative that they only want the money.

However, even if they are leaving due to the lack of prize money, I can’t fathom how anybody would insult them over that.

Point is, they are a professional pvp team leaving a game that no longer has a competitive pvp team environment, whether it be through the pvp seasons, in game tournaments, or world tournaments. Anyone insulting them for doing so is either trolling or just spiteful.

The matchmaking is worse when pre-mades are in play. That route pleases the pre-mades and more-or-less victimizes solos.

That is opinion, not fact. No one is discussing mixed queues. People want separate queues. Can’t be bothered to re-type everything and I wouldn’t want to offend anyone, so that is as simple as I can put it.

Was platinum at 1750, dropped to Gold 3 later, and in 1 day dropped to Gold 1, here’s what’s going on around 1500 right now:

- 3 Necros on team trying to do dailies in ranked, even though other team is obviously anti-necro. We lost.
- 1 Necro going for lord straight away. Why? We lost.
- 1 Thief barging into the team fight and instantly dying every time, never decapping. We lost.
- 1 person going AFK straight away at 120-100 score because he “wasn’t rezzed and team is noob”. We lost.
- 1 person rage quitting, even though we had a nice comeback which turned out to be 500-482, lost rating still even with DC.
- People who didn’t know engies can moa.
- People who admitted to playing PvP only a handful of times just for PvE rewards.
- Much more behavior that should NOT be reflective of gold 3 or higher. kitten this matchmaking. Wake up, Evan.

Why is everyone complaining about the teammates they get? You all voted and this is what you guys wanted. Apparently the majority of players wanted Anet to pick their teammates for them because it was too hard to do on their own. You guys wanted a system where a player could be complete garbage that nobody wants on their team, and Anet would force others to take that player on their team.

Stop complaining about this to Anet and blaming them, this is the pvp community’s fault. Your votes (or lack of votes) made this possible. Expecting a competitive pvp scene in a 5v5 team game mode on an mmo where everyone is limited to solo/duo queue is laughable. If you don’t like it, get together in a single thread and advocate for 5v5 only Team Queue. If you don’t want Team Queue, then stop complaining simply because you got what you asked for and enjoy your casual pvp scene.

What do I care if you trash yourself? I gave you a compliment and some enlightenment and you strung it out to what it is now. The only thing that’s rough about these forums is the lack of logic combined with sheer stupidity, most people would have been happy being complimented.

Also: “I do mostly solo queue, doesn’t mean I would ever want team queue removed.” – This is what I originally hinted at, which was Anets choice.

Yeah, nothing you said came off as any sort of compliment, so didn’t take it as one. Now this is getting off topic, so back to ithilwen…

There isn’t the population to support a separate team queue. Back in the day there were solo arena and team arena.

Sadly, the decisions made since that time have reduced population considerably. A team queue would need to be the only thing available to get enough players to support it. That, in turn would freeze out players like myself, unlikely to get a place on a good team.

Such elitism would reduce pvp population still further and be destructive to the game.

So what is the current pvp population since you seem to know this well enough to state it as fact? Or is that just what you hear everyone else say so now you repeat it when someone brings up team queue?

Also, Team Queue and Solo Queue can exist side by side if Team Queue is implemented with proper incentives. Just split the queues, make sure lfg tools work and are promoted, and give team queue exclusive rewards. This way, people have a reason to play team queue, and solo queue still exists for people like you.

I cannot anticipate when someone is going to go off on me, nor can I just be a mute player and close off all communication from team chat. Once someone blasts their foul mouth, its already too late, damage is already done. Anet can help alleviate the issue by balancing better or give core players elite specs. They know this and do nothing which is why I said what i said.

See here, now you are bullying anet. Not the right answer buddy. Just as those guys in the game wanted someone to point fingers at, here you are doing the same thing. Read over the previous patch notes and you’ll see that Anet is actually making attempts to balance core specs and make them more viable.

HoT content should be for those that paid for it only, that’s just proper business and you can’t blame them for that. As for balancing, that’s always been crazy, but it has been getting better and better slowly.

Will say one thing though, Anet needs to get their forum moderators to handle the in game report system. It’s crazy really, you even slightly offend someone on here, and your post will be deleted and you may get an infraction. However, in game you can make death threats and insult people all day long and remain untouched. Lol.
