I’ll still be PvPing even after I hit rank 80, I never expected to hit rank 80 ever in the lifetime of GW2 since I only play like 2 hours a day, so whats the difference now? If your only incentive for playing PvP was the ridiculous rank grind, then perhaps you should play a game like Aion

Please make it like skill unlock in PvP. They are automatically unlocked. Make the new traits automatically unlocked too, only in PvP. PvP should always stay free of requirement, and absolute equality of power.

SPvP players have level 80 from the start, they don’t even need to level.
WvW players have a huge gap in strength from 1 to 80.
In fact, it’s currently faster to get one Tome of Knowledge in SPvP than it is to get 1 level in World vs. World.

comparatively, i assume that most players are spending more $ and gold on lvl 80 characters so more conveniences to level up would be a win-win situation.
Yeah. Every time I want a new character to play in WvW i’m forced to farm gold in PvE for weeks, then powerlevel in a couple of days. It sucks that we have to level at all, but that’s the situation… and playing as an uplevel on a serious level in WvW is not possible.
Any news about new game modes? Will we see them in feature patch or completely sure not? When will we see them if it’s not now? In Living story? lol

The “big” changes are fixes to things most people see as bugs and problems. The feature patch does not introduce anything new or especially good, it just fixes what needed fixing.
I agree with OP. Please let us withdraw unlocked stats for free or for a really small fee (basically like traits).
In my opinion accountbound ascended is a step that is too small and too insignificant.
First of all:
- Armour restrictions: light/medium/heavy are restricted to certain classes
- Weapon restrictions: certain weapons are restricted to certain classes
This makes accountbound ascended about as useless as ascended were to begin with. Your warrior can only get gear from guardian and vice versa. Your thief can only get gear from ranger and engineer and vice versa. Your elementalist can only get gear from mesmer and necro and vice versa. Unlocking one piece with only one specific stat combination costs 40g and you can’t even duplicate these items for free…
So basically: you’d need a ton of ascended gear already to make accountbound ascended useful at all. AND then you would still have to unequip gear on one character to equip it on another, for a tiny 5% stat boost. This would make alts as useless as they ever were, again.
Solution:
- Make STATS unlockable, in ALL tiers, not just in the most unattainable tiers: master, rare, exotic, ascended (+legendary).
- Unlocked stats can be WITHDRAWN unlimited and for free: lets say you unlocked ‘exotic berserker’ as a stat for boots. You can then withdraw boots of Light AND Medium AND Heavy quality that are exotic and have berserker stats.
Please think about this the next time you propose a Feature Patch. The current changes to gear are pathetic.
What about 1 tome of knowledge per wxp rank you get?

It’s a misconception that the free transfers are helping the low servers… they’re helping mid-tier servers who are free or have only 800 gem transfer price.
And yes, I’m done exploring. It’s boring.
Said everyone always. I wonder why they spent so much time making all those areas when they made them boring by just copy-pasting the heart quests as if we wouldn’t notice…
I don’t know anyone who does exploring after they reached level 80.
Open world PvE feels like school did (not university)… repeat useless tasks over and over.
When you reach 80 you simply don’t want to explore anymore because it’s the most annoying part of the game. When you reach 80 you go straight to dungeons for some gold and then WvW, then stay in WvW until your money is gone and you’re forced to go do dungeons again.
It’s for learning the game.
You must be kidding… Can we somehow get a ‘shortcut’ through all this… some players have 10+ 80s here. Please don’t expect us to go through all the pve stuff again and again.
Sounds like I’ll be bored to death being forced to go PvE.

- Edge of the Mists was supposed to be a non-zerg map… and it’s the biggest karma-train map ever.
- Accountbound WXP was announced in november 2013.
- WXP is power creep and really doesn’t add anything worthy to the game
- Guilds have NO options at all.
- Commander tags still suck big-time
- Balance between servers is being down-right ignored. “It works as intended” or so they want us to believe.
By this time… they could give me all this below and I still would only think: “Well it’s kittening time.” and I wouldn’t even feel excited about those changes anymore.
