If the recipe with 250 ectos is still required to unlock this new infusion slot then we have nothing to complain about. If however it is no longer needed then I wasted 750 ectos on upgrading b4 i transmuted to backpiece skins I wanted. I wont be happy if thats the case.
I do not think it’s the case. The way I read it is you have 1 new slot and every time you finish a set of fractal, you earn 1 AR infusion. 2 1AR Infusion + 1 Thermo Agent = 1 2AR infusion. 2 2AR infusion + 1 Thermo Agent = 1 3AR infusion. And you keep doing it til you got whatever. I don’t need to do the math but I can tell you that to get 5AR in that slot is way cheaper than 250 ectos that cost 83 golds to infuse. I also think the coding is already in place so there is no way, they will change it.
Others might invite you but I clean up the guild. If you are invited and don’t pay attention to it (meaning not accepted the invitation for whatever reason in certain duration), then after 1 week, I kicked all the absented invitations. This game is already bad enough, and I don’t want any more crappy people to infect this nice guild, even we are not active as we used to be. I’m for certain not a graduate of “no one left behind” program so take heeds.
Moreover, you can’t say dredge and ascalon got ridiculous for non plate stacking groups.
I know most “hardcore” groups can’t appreciate this as they have rarely had any qualms about using guardians and warriors to trivialize content, but doing dredge at 48 as berk ele or even ascalon without a guardian for perma reflects or the burst aoe of 100b is just dumb.
It was gimmicky balancing. Hopefully the newly introduced challenges don’t take the usual game balance design of “Hard = more HP more damage done”.
I’ve got to 80 using this composition: 2 war/nec/2 ele. You know what do you need the most in fractals? Reflections. Do you know what this group lacks?
I see a lot of “I am special snowflake! I demand I be recognized!” going on.
1. This is a game, not a job. If you “WORKED” for it, that is on you.
2. Play the game for fun. If it is no longer fun, don’t play.
3. High level fractals WAS its own reward.
4. The fun you had, you had. No one can take that away from you.
So would it be cool to reset the entire game? Many things have changed since beta and early adopters have an unfair advantage from TP trading to Achievement Leaderboards. So they really should just reset the whole game and no one should care that they need to start over and all that playtime is erased, because they can’t take away the fun we had.
I would vote for reset the whole game for unfair competition to new players & new contents introduced.

When you infused your back piece for the extra +5AR, you did so because you needed/wanted the extra AR to advance in fractals. And this was one of the few ways to do so.
You knew at that time that eventually new ways to get AR would come out. The addition of ascended weapons led to an easier/cheaper source of +5AR than infusing a back piece. The future release of ascended armor will do the same.
You will not be losing your +5AR, and if obtaining a new +5AR infusion ends up being cheaper than what it cost you initially than that is the cost of being an early adopter.
You knew that the cost of that extra +5AR was very high initially, you knew that other methods of increasing your AR would eventually be released, and you are not losing anything.

Haha, you just don’t know. I have run w/ 1 group at level 59 couple days ago and the skill level is just unbelievable bad. And you think if they got to this level they must be good, yes?
It’s all come down to 2 thing: who taught them the tactic at the 1st place and they believe that’s the way to go w/o looking for answers already available by googling & youtube. These people are very easy to rage quit, insulting others because they blame others for their failure. Never fail and it happens everywhere, pug or no pug.
One thing I really miss about Nikaido is that guy is as honest as hell. When he said he has enough of it, he just goes. He has as much emotional investment in this game as any one else but he also cuts the string real quick. If I go to France, I like to sit down and have a beer w/ him.

I don’t play this game for hard core challenge or to prove anything (not worth my time considered all the BS I have to put up w/ since released) and I definitely don’t play this game to belong. The original question is about DPS w/ certain build and I gave a generic answer how that DPS number works. I also defer the judgement to those I’ve list (Obal & Syn included so no one is left behind. Guang is a special case) because you know what, these people don’t BS me with rhetoric, group thinks but with real numbers to see if the boon damage of 10/30/0/5/25 will be better than that build.
Strictly DPS business. Nothing else. And then you come in w/ support Guardian craps then fail to answer my question regarding whether I’ve run w/ no trait in master consecration.

115 gold at the cheapeast and it will take 23 days.
In 23days, you can probably learn all 4 paths and gotten your set from playing the fast paths. I guess I am just jealous because I didn’t think of this before =(.

It probably is based on burning conditions to take the advantage of 10% damage on burned. That build has the highest precision and effective power if using Ranger Runes, based on my rough est. 88% crit chance & 118% crit damage just by the guardian himself w/ food buff. Within the 1st 15s, he can get 5s from Purging Flame & 3s from focus blocks (plus might stack), 3s from Zealot Fire, 5s from VoJ all by himself. The real diffrence from this build is 1 trait burned on block, critical chance & damage increased.
Would it be enough to compensate for lack of damage through boons generating by group, I don’t know and I should leave it to the experts like Dub, Brazil or Nike. I have no inclination to dig in those things.

He could burn your 6 dodges, blocks within 40s (Life Drains, Life Drinks & AoE Blast). Dodges & WA 10s CD, Off hand block 15s, Shield #5 30s and Endure Pain 60s. When you come into p3 w/o your full set of escaped skills (w/o sigil of energy), your prob will die. If you pass the 1st round of attacks, the 2nd round will have you short of Endure Pain (counted as 2 def skills).
The bug was around Aug and Anet just acknowledged several days ago. Sit tight & welcome to the club. In the mean time, find another game to play. Or Solo.
They could add an additional lupicus for every 20% health , so at the end you will have to fight 5 lupicus and the whole party will be forced to solo lupicus on their own .
Each spawned Lupi will spawn additional Lupi at every 20% of their respective health.

I just have this problem today. Others can receive my party , whisper, guild message but I can’t see their message. I can see my message & others in map chat only. Isn’t that wonderful?
Actually , the only thing wrong with dungeons is the complete lack of solo mode.
I find myself needing 500 of a dungeon token to complete my legendary- but having never done that dungeon before, I don’t want to be dragging the rest of the group down and so I find myself avoiding doing it at all….
I am in the same boat. I need Arah tokens, but in contrast to most others, I have never done this dungeon before. I can’t join a group because nobody wants inexperienced me, but I don’t feel comfortable starting one either, for I obviously can’t lead a team there and feel I’d just let the group down if I tried to put one together.
No, I am not a superb player by any stretch of imagination, but I am not totally horrible either, and I can listen. But the issue with GW2 dungeons in the current meta is that unless you perfectly know every single step in there and are bypassing trash mobs like a pro, people are prone to call you every imaginable name. In the end, I guess I just don’t want to take the risk, so I stay away from it.
My speculation & I think I’m probably correct …
If you connect the dots together, the prolific selling of Arah paths started after the introduction of token gate and likewise, the lack of good players in pug group. Before the introduction of token gate, it’s easy to find players in a guild to run many paths over & over and if it’s necessary, they will pug 1 or 2. Then there are cross servers guilds whose sole purpose is to introduce new players running dungeons together, could muster many runs a day the same path over and over. They also look for pug too if needed. Now a day, these activities are reduced to known players within the same guild, for 1 path or selling the path. Friend list activities are also reduced and with low number of friends on line at the same time, plus the low probability that they have not done the paths yet, dungeon activities are also dropped. The ones that got hurt the most by the token gate are those like you.
I would said Anet is the main culprit of this problem.
There are 3 groups of players in any game. Casuals, elitists and morons. Guess which one has the loudest mouth? The morons. And they are here too in all shapes and forms. TBH, I have not seen one in rT (those frequent this forum). Maybe their requirements are too high for ‘wannabe’?
You don’t need PUG if you are good all by yourself. And if one pugs so he can complete the instant and laughs at their shortcoming then that person is sick. Narcissistically sick.
I did happen to record 1 of my death by fumbling dodge yesterday on Lupi p2 AoE. After the whirlwind attack, the dodge broke 1/2 way. Bump for the fix since Anet is already aware of the bug.
The problem is not about skipping but the mixing of the 2 different type of players together. You have a little experience in whatever dungeon you was running and expected the outcome according to your expectation. The other members of your party have a different expectations. So take the initiative, make your own party, be a leader and spell out exactly what your want. Anyone doesn’t conform to your wish list, kick them. Something like this …
“Want to explore AC p1 area together. Kill Kholer and mobs. Skipping will be kicked. All prof, builds, gears are welcomed”.
And for some others, it could be like this ..
“AC P1, skipping fast. Newbie & support gears will be kicked. Only Zerker allowed”
There you go. Find your own like minded group and everybody is happy. It’s that easy.
I think the missing signature is a nice indicator for players .. it’s a testament to how Anet regards the value players bring as well as HOW they bring it. Being helpful isn’t also a license to being rude or bullying players into a populist movement. The people that have been sanctioned aren’t the only source of this information.
Ah. It starts explaining some mysteries which I have swept under the rug for a while.
Let me guess. For whatever reason, if his location to one of the party member is from 300? to 130, he will exercise his totalitarian authority to restrict movement. Further out from this number, he has to move to engage ranged players so there should be no trap at all if all players are away from the forbidden zone.
