I’ve not come across anything that points to additional hair styles being released soon.
Also, they are unlikely to release new hair styles so soon after releasing “new” faces to the total makeover kits. They would likely release both at the same time or have their releases span several weeks to months so the new styles would release after the initial makeover kit sales boost died down from the previous release.
They likely have at least a dozen finished styles of faces and hair ‘on the shelf’, but only release 3 of one at a time to stretch out the releases to maximize the boost to makeover kit sales, and thus a mostly reliable boost in gem sales.

It seems obvious as to what one thing could be that they are being consulted for, which could turn out real good for us if they are finally going to fix enemy AI (which also would mean ranger pet AI getting fixed). This could also be supported by his stating that ANet has “…some excellent ideas about how to improve their product in many different areas…”, and better enemy/pet AI would, indeed, improve many different areas of the game.

Also, if you were told that the items were refunded, yet you did not receive them, then it is possible that your in-game mailbox is full and you cannot receive the mail containing the dyes. Try to clear some mail from your mailbox to allow the mail containing your refunded items to be delivered properly.
Either an undocumented change to stacking sigil behavior to patch the (possibly unintended) loophole of stacks persisting on land without a sigil on the land weapon due to the sigil still being on the water weapon, or it is a new bug with stacks and how they function. We do not know really as they aren’t answering any of the pleas for information on it.
When gaining stacks under water and then going onto land, sometimes the stacks remain despite no stacking sigil being on the land weapons. However, those stacks mysteriously disappear after a few minutes with no real cause.
Other times the stacks immediately disappear once exiting to land in the same situation…it is very inconsistent and buggy it seems.
Also, stacks sometimes get lost even when waypointing to another area in the same zone as where the stacks were acquired. For some they get lost, for others they persist. I think this has to do with MegaServer where the players who lose their stacks when waypointing elsewhere in the zone are actually placed into another instance of the map and this causes their stacks to disappear. Those that WP within the same zone and have stacks remain are simply lucky that they were placed into the same MegaServer instance of the zone as where they acquired the stacks.

Basically, ignore anything to do with your stacking sigils for at least a week or two while it gets sorted out whether this is intentional and with some bugs that need to be fixed, or unintentional and will (eventually) be fixed to function like they did earlier in the month.
As for your examples, other than “Volunteer subscription fees” and “Pay-to-access zones” as being the least wanted of those mentioned (would never return if they were added), I would go with “Gear Grind” as being my least wanted from the list (would also never return if it was added beyond what there already is).
I’m actually afraid to mention what I would least want added to the game (read: never), as they may actually end up adding it in since that seems to be what their thing is now (chasing NA/EU players away now that they have China).
Plus, some of your list is more than enough to make people never log in again if they were implemented (again, that seems to be their intention so can probably expect them).

I feel sorry for you, but on the other I am quite happy I don’t have too see anymore a festival of lack of good taste and tacky decisions to be flamboyant from players who have no sense of fashion or originality at all, like a cosplay of Virgin Mary would be any interesting.
Btw, people should try to coordinate the colours of their luxurious and exquisite legendaries with their armors. I see so many people with legendaries dressed like beggars or morons, is dreadful.
If we ask nicely do you think they will make more backpieces to match legendaries? I need something better than a zappy popsicle to go with Bolt. Zappy popsicles might have their place, but they don’t match.

Long post short, UTC is pretty much the same as GMT for most uses (not much different), but is a more accurate successor to GMT in how it is figured. UTC is more widely used in technical and governmental communities where slight differences in time (a few seconds) really make a difference, but has pretty much replaced GMT in most areas around the world for everyday use and reference.

@OP: It’s 2 healing skills (you forgot Antitoxin Spray), and you forgot the 5 new traits too.
Keep in mind that the Ascended gear was released slowly over time. With hastened rates. And we got new stat combinations as well (Apothecary’s, Sentinel’s, Settler’s, Celestial’s, Zealot’s, etc.). So while when you look at things in generals such as “Ascended gear” then it’ll look smaller than the progression has actually done, making it look like a single update rather than the 5 updates Ascended gear alone was.
Also, it’s been 1.5 years, not 2 years. Yes, it matters.

I chose medium when it was first introduced and the wardrobe unlocked all weights. Perhaps the new skin item you got will not unlock the other weights until you apply the one free use skin item to a pair of gloves.
If you have already applied your heavy skin to a pair of heavy gloves and the other weights have not unlocked (in the wardrobe section of your bank for those weights), try to restart your game (or at least exit to character select) and then log back in and see if the other weights are properly unlocked in the wardrobe section of your bank.
There has been no response by devs on this matter or the other stacking sigil related changes. Functionality stealth changed or bugged, we just do not know and they are not telling us.
My opinion on this specific issue is that it is a bug relating to the other changes made to stacking sigils and land/water/swapping stack loss (which seem to have been, and likely were stealth changes and intentional).

It isn’t just you, Tijgertje.7461, it is a bug that seems to be affecting the Phoenix Skins specifically (though possibly favor of the bazaar/pavilion as well) to where the displayed items in the list are not showing their current cost/supply until you actually view the full sell orders of the individual items. Even after viewing the real cost/supply, searching again for “Phoenix” does not show the updated cost/supply in the search results and once again shows only one available at 250g.
Until it is fixed you must enter into each skin’s individual sell listings to see their actual cost/supply.

I’ve recently started seeing a large number of players who put a capital “i” at the front and back ends of their names for emphasis or something (similar to the “X Name X” reasoning). I think they also do it because the name they want is taken so adding this element means they can get the name they want.
Ex:
I Name I
As mentioned, try to do your | symbol as a capital “i” if that is where it is placed in the name like in my example above.

I like the design of several of them (greatsword, bows), but I’m tired of them throwing orange/red flames on everything.
Had the flames been purple, or green, or (here’s an idea) dyeable…maybe then.
And it doesn’t help that every item they release with flames on it has completely different flame appearance and effects and flame behavior. You cannot even throw all your flame armor and weapons on since all of the flames are different. Total lack of vision and sense of consistency by the designers.

I thought it was just me and my deteriorated hearing…I’m actually disappointed to find out that it wasn’t and that they really did pronounce the words incorrectly. :\ Wow. Just wow.
All bows are flipped when you preview them, it is just that most are symmetrical so you cannot tell. Check out Crustacea (short bow), Arthropoda (longbow), and all of the ascended bows – they are all displayed incorrectly when previewed.
However, they are handled correctly when actually wielded and not previewed. It is just a preview issue which has been reported many times, but never corrected.
Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
Also, the software application for your GPU (AMD Catalyst/NVidia Control Panel) usually has an anti-aliasing setting. If you have this AA setting configured to something other than ‘Application Controlled’ (or similar wording) then you may experience issues like this (not always, but possible).
If you bought them before the April 15th update and still had them on a character, then have each of your characters speak to the Black Lion Armor Specialist that is next to the BLTP NPC in major cities as this will convert the old items into outfits and tonics.
It means the graphic of the flames blasting out from the foe will not go out as far and not scale up so drastically in size with the size of the foe. It is to help lessen the flames taking up the whole screen during combat, especially in large group events.

Indeed. The majority of the “responses” these L10 players were getting to their questions were:
“google it” – “alt+F4” – “noob”
And a slew of other troll “responses”. Yep, primarily from the people in the train.
These type of “responses” also drowned out the actual responses people like me were trying to give them to help them out.
Most enjoyable of all currently available medieval high fantasy MMORPGs, but not of all currently available MMOGs. (my opinion, obviously)

To add to what the OP said if you’re in a low level zone and you’re downleveled, and you see other people around who aren’t, just use your 1 skill and leave something for them to get credit for the event too.
A good 80 can make it really hard for low level characters to get credit for events, or experience for kills. They need it more than you do.

I cannot stand #1. I call them “Runners”. All they care about is running through the map to get map completion without care for anyone else they affect while doing so.
Example:
I’m fighting several enemies and see this player running toward me.
I ease up on my attacks just in case they want to get some tags in if they want for some loot and xp.
They keep running right past me and the previously unseen horde of 8+ enemies on their tail turns and aggroes on me and it turns into a fight for survival and pulling out all the skills I can to kill them all and try to rally and not die.
Several times I’ve finished the fight and turn around and there is the person standing nearby looking at me after having enjoyed the show. One even proceeded to /laugh once.
I’ve even run into a few who intentionally tag all possible enemies with a single shot while running to make sure they build up a bunch of minions following them to deliver unto an unsuspecting adventurer. The bonus to them is, when the enemies gradually hit their leashes and reset, when it eventually does get killed by someone else then I believe they get the xp for tagging it.
Makes me quite disappointed.
Players should not be able to trivialize the game world and just run through it. At the very least, all enemies should have a very quick initial attack when they aggro on a player so the player is immediately put into combat and move at a slow speed. Ideally it should be a cripple or root attack. Again, players should not be permitted to just run through the entire map without ever having to enter combat as this just trivializes enemy encounters and encourages “skipping” in open world and dungeons alike.
Nothing should be skippable.
Online again and seems back to better than normal. (‘normal’ is usually not all that good)

Indeed, I saw others mentioning its return, but I was not affected by it. Then I happened to move my inventory from where I had it for the first time in months and from that point on I’ve been dealing with the resizing issue on login as well.
Getting really, really old having to (again) resize it constantly.
I think I’ve read that the hint will trigger and register if you let your pet die and then swap it for your alternate pet as a workaround.

Edited to add that I checked the wiki and it instructs to not swap it, to just let it stay dead for a few seconds and the hint will pop up.

Regarding the “charm” hint, have you charmed both a land-based and water-based pet? Perhaps it will not trigger until you get an additional one of both land and water pets. Not sure on this though, but worth a try.

They’re not permanently gone (probably) , but they will be off the vendor for quite a while. Long enough i wouldn’t even hazard a guess at a bring-back date.
Like any store, we’ll be regularly rotating out sets that are out of season or not popular to keep the vendor from overloading too many tabs.
Perhaps tab space would not be an issue if the interface for the merchant were redesigned to one that is more organized and user-friendly, in addition to being designed with future releases in mind.
Here is one quick mock-up of an enhanced dialogue with the Black Lion Weapons Specialist.
Not very much new code would be needed as there are areas where this code already exists – it would just need to be copied over. Graphics, UI and other teams/departments only have a few minutes of work to add their elements to the interface.
Look toward the future and plan for it, please.
Falling back on justifying their removal as there not being enough room for more tabs in the NPC interface does not solve the problem…unless there is no problem and you actually desire the weapon sets to be removed instead of correcting the interface to allow these and future sets to remain available.
There are ways to continue offering all released weapon sets forever, this one I depict is less than an hour of combined work for maybe 5 employees (programming, graphics, localization, other?). Please consider offering all released sets for the duration of the game’s life.
We all experience removal of temporary content far too often as it is, please do not extend this removal to once-permanent content as well.

Seen that orrian sapling in Cursed Shore. Never seen that ship not crashed; I just thought it was a constant prop.
There’s also an ore node which periodically spawns on top of one of the vines near Twilight Arbor waypoint; not much of a problem usually but during Halloween that was a candy corn node.
I’ve been trying to figure out a way to get to that node since launch. :P
Don’t need the ore of course but the fact that there is a mini-JP thing on the other side makes me think there is supposed to be a way over there and there would be if not for the fact that some of the dead tree/mushroom aren’t actually solid.
Yeah, I reported that node in the tree in January of 2013…it’s still up there. However, I did manage to get up to it without a problem. I mentioned in my report thread that I hoped it wasn’t bot bait (no way to it other than teleporting via bot), but if it was then it is flawed as there is a way up to it.
If you want to meet up in-game I’d gladly show you how I managed to get up to it if you would like. Or maybe I can fraps it one of these days.
I could’ve sworn the 2 writers responsible jokingly admitted to writing the framework for Living Story S1 by locking themselves in a room and coming up with everything in 1 day.
That would be this, I believe, where GW2 writers mention that the entire year and a half of Living Story was put together by these two while locked in a room for two days.

It pleases me that these are coming back. I loved both of these events, and I’m thrilled to see them again.
However, I am slightly amused that the first update China gets will be recycled events.
I think they may have decided to go with reintroducing these two different types of content at the same time…

The game would probably permit the name to be made, but the “body parts” element of the name would probably make it not last all that long before having to be changed.
OP, I really like the name Cinderfang, it’s quite disappointing that it cannot be used. Would you consider alternate forms of it?
Breaking the words apart, replacing one of the letters with a version of the letter with an accent mark would also work. I do not think it would be construed as circumventing the filter.

I don’t think there’ll be any living story content with this update. I think this is just to give us something to chew on. Else, why introduce them out of sequence. Queen’s gauntlet was june last year, and Zephyr was august (I think). I doubt there’ll be new bosses, they don’t even have time to be on the forums, why would they have time to balance test new bosses? I do wonder if there’ll be new achievements. Probably not.
They did say something about there being new stuff though, and hints towards S2.
I didn’t see any thing like that in the announcement.
Yeah, important things like that are treated like nuggets of gold and hidden away on twitter and reddit (and sometimes twitch) instead of on the official site. :\

The issue is StinVec, the code has already been used. I used the code on my account. I can’t just make a new account and use the code. It’s tied to the closed account now.
Thinking about it more, I honestly do not understand how you are able to post under your old account since the copy of the game tied to it has been refunded. You shouldn’t even be able to log into this account, let alone register another copy of the game to it.
You are right, this is more complex an issue than simply making a new account.
I wish you luck on your dealings with support in your ticket and here on the forums.

You cannot associate more than one copy of GW2 with a single email address. Each copy of the game must be registered to a different email account.
If mckinleyzane.7502 is tied to the same email address and serial for the old copy of GW2 that you received a refund for, then you need to treat your new copy of the game as just that, a new copy of the game. This means that the serial and account name must be associated with an email address that is not already associated with a copy of Guild Wars 2.
Since you returned your original copy of the game, any progress (characters, items, etc) were deleted once that was refunded. You cannot get anything you had on that account back as it is completely gone due to having been returned and refunded.
You must start completely anew.
Make a new email account and register your new copy of the game with it.

What browser are you using? Most browsers have extensions and plug-ins you can add to where anything you type is temporarily saved so if you accidentally hit ‘back’ and lose it, going forward to the page again (or close and re-open a tab) will give you a pop-up asking if you want to restore the text.
I use Opera 12.15 with the Persistent Text extension. It works perfectly and I’ve never lost comments I’ve written on web sites since I started using it despite doing those blunders that would cause me to lose it without that extension.
Wish it’d be easier to find the Order you joined. I’m always skipping around all my characters finding their Order.

That just tells you that you have fully joined that specific order on at least one of your characters. For people with several (or even dozens) of characters, it is quite irksome to have to scour through the personal story chapter listings to be reminded of what order that character is in. Just another way in which orders really aren’t all that important or prominent of an aspect of the game like they should be.
I would really like to see weapon skill slot reassignment made available to players once all of the weapon skills for that weapon are unlocked. It is unlikely to ever happen though, sadly. :\
