So what? There is nothing original at all about any class names in nearly all mmo games.
I’ve never played an mmo with a daredevil. The names cool as it stands out. Just think of the warrior. What mmo doesn’t have a warrior. They are just elite specs with names. The name simply doesn’t matter

Is warrior better in solo pve? Yes for sure. But in my opinion warrior becomes the most boring class later on which is why I stuck with guardian. Just wish they had permanent swiftness
I still think if account is 3 years you should still get a gift mailed. My oldest character isn’t even one as I reroll so often.

Final fantasy fixed the issue with options.
You can display medium effects or turn them off. This could be applied to everyone, or leave just your parties or group on or off.
That’s a very odd suggestion to make.
The player levels the way they wish to level. If you don’t want to play with them in a dungeon then don’t.
But even right now if you join a dungeon for all you know is a fresh level 80 warrior who made the account 2 hours ago
As much as I’d love to see revenant come out early so I can level it just won’t happen.
Multiple reasons.
1. It’s part of expansion, so we’d get with expansion.
2. Wouldn’t make sense to have a whole bunch of revenants out when the class doesn’t even exist yet. We need to wait for rylock in expansion.
3. If they release a class early every person who doesn’t play revenant will start complaining “can’t we start leveling masteries early” “early release on first map” “early release for stronghold”
We just have to wait.
We have jails heal and remove condition on legend swap if traited.
This class does overall excel with damage, healing (with shield added) mobility, and boons. The condition removal would be a bit much.
Great so that’s more weeks added onto of the “No Grinding” System.
I don’t understand? YOU are 100% by chance grinding. You don’t need a legendary, ascended stats are the same. If you want to grind go grind, if you don’t want to then don’t. I do not see the problem.
Would you prefer getting a legendary be as easy as just getting it for killing a world boss or something? This is an mmorpg. You can play it how you want to. If getting a legendary was easier every single person would have one, there would be no time sink, no one would play the game and a legendary weapon wouldn’t be legendary and they might as well drop from bandits in queensdale
Ok I think most players agree it’s still not exactly what it could be. I like the idea of it, but really would never use aa is.
My proposal?
Simple actually. Make it 600 range, and make it throw one blade, if it hits target can bounce and hit up to 3 targets if within x range. If there is 2 enimies will bounce back to first target this will be a great opening strike, be worth using in my opinion.

Not sure if that’s a typeo. But we could have 100% critical chance and really up our health if we want the constant -2 energy then. We would never need precesion on armor unless swapping legends
Edit: misread it’s a multiplier. But even so 40% chance with no precesion is nice. We could just use trinkets for that if they are all zerker still though and have a nice hp pool

Other then the challenge group content they said they had big announcements. Most likely a release date finally. The following week I think might be legendary weapons or something else, then the last 3 elite specs. They seem to do 3 weeks in a row of elite specs then a break. Revenant took up multiple weeks to for each stance.
I wanted beta weekend to input my thoughts on revenant and dragonhunter so I got it. I’ll play it no matter what so didn’t hurt

Headbutt is insane, I dunno the whole class was already strong now it’s even stronger. Wish I liked the playstyle more so I could pwn. But I’ll stick to Rev and guardian
I do not own any of the armors from the link from op. Not do I deserve to own them. I think it’s very good for a game to do this with armor. Not every single person in the game should own it. We need certain rare things in each mmo
Duration is something I can play with, but there are problems which can happen because of it. For example if it was 30 second duration it means it would always be most effective to pre-cast them before a fight which is something I’m not sure I want. I’ll think about it though.
Yea 30 seconds would be a bit to much. I think 20 would be the max possible number in terms of balance and being fair in my opinion.
The main issue is just the “oh no I need to heal” but then something dies and the daggers are gone before you can attack something else and now your out a heal.
Daggers last 20 seconds. Issue fixed I think. Can use it at start of fight if needed then

This game is designed where each class is dps, self heal, and can really do anything. Only ele can do everything however with light armor, lowest health, and so many skills they are very hard to master.
I always suggest going to edge of the mists, everything is unlocked to test out on npc or dummies and see what you enjoy doing. No one can pick a class for you honestly other then yourself.
I just need to ask…..why are shoulder pieces and hand pieces for heavy armor so huge on sylvari? Half the shoulder pieces are bigger then the entire chest piece. Why is this? It looks really bad. Only the heavy cultural armor seems to fit right. They have the same figure as human but shorter, why cant the armor just scale in size likeep weapons?
It’s very possible it will be a set to purchase with gems, might be reward for a new dungeon that’s a surprise, could be new craftable armor, or just kinda a reward from new maps like the silverwastes armor or ambriate weapons. So many options. I loved the legs though and want those kinda bad
While you are stealthed press f3 to activate surprise attack.
Active – unstealth yourself and launch at your opponent with super speed. On impact with target cast fear as you just scared the poo out of them.

3. Before gw2 came out they didn’t go over every single event and map, they won’t do that for expansion either.

A ranger with that fast of an auto attack and an evade….people would want rangers in dungeons lol.
What class and weapon have the highest auto attack in game? I was thinking warrior axe or guardian sword but wasn’t sure.

Have you seen the ele forums today? You guys were blessed by the 6, the pale tree, supported by the char legions, gifted the patents of the asura, and declared legends by the norn.
Truthfully the ele forum made me kinda sick. Elementalist in my opinion was already one of the strongest classes in game that could do more then any other class already. Yet people are in an uproar because now was added to the class. I personally enjoyed it in beta.

I realized something today. Even though revenant only has one ranged weapon the hammer we are very lucky it’s good.
Yes the auto attack isn’t great for single target but it hits multiple enimies.
2 skill makes up for it though with the low cd and high damage,
3 skill, Damage is good and sense it can now dodge it’s just fun
4 skill reflects
5 is nice aoe damage knockdown.
I know it’s not condition based but as far as a power weapon for range I’m very very happy with it. We are extremely lucky we have Roy who actually reads our feedback, comments, plays the class, and really knows what needs working and fixed.
After reading the dragonhunter changes it became clear the person working on it didn’t read any feedback, or make the changes we needed. Spear of justice, gave it more damage (which was never the issue with it?) ABC ignored projectiles speed completely.

Projectile speed was a major issue to and auto attack speed. I really thought something with that could be looked into
I think it meant 3 legendary weapons? We get legendary weapons on release then more added with story.
Elite specizalations will most likely only be with expansions
There are no plans to add skills or traits which affect energy gain, upkeep gain, or energy cost of skills for the Revenant. These traits very quickly become mandatory choices as it means you can use your skills more often and in the case of energy, it would apply to all your skills since they all use energy. This is a dramatic increase in power across the board.
These kind of traits makes for less interesting choices and cause many problems with balance, often forcing skills to be weaker to compensate for the possibility of a player having all these traits equipped meaning they can use skills much more often then a player without them. But of course there will be balance on on energy costs and recharges of skills to make sure everything feels good and balanced for what it does in the toolkit of the revenant.

You lost all credibility here.
A shield that heals, provides protection, causes no damage for 4 seconds while healing……I personally don’t know how a shield can be any better then that. Sorry it doesn’t do 10k damage a second like you wanted but it does what a shield should do. Protects you and keeps you alive
Oh gosh I’m not against the other torches I myself use torch in my guardian scepter all the time. Just noting it’s buggy as heck when you throw it, very slow and misses a lot and always hits ground and misses frequently. Just hope warrior torch is overall better

Warrior torch I really think might bring something new to the class. I’m thinking it won’t be a basic throw at enemy and burn for 3 seconds either curious what the class mechanic could be.
Revenant finally made a useful shield for elite so I’m tali hoping for a useful torch.
