I may consider stopping my complaints when Anet actually stops being lazy and brings skill back to pvp.

When you constantly power creep everything in the game since launch instead of ever nerfing anything you eventually come to a screeching halt.

Player health pools have never been increased, yet our damage creeps up and up and up.

Stability was made useless ages ago, since anet couldn’t figure out how to distribute stability evenly across all classes …. and now, every class has access to absurd amounts of cc.

What you have is a giant clusterkitten where no skill is involved.

Whoever starts the cc lockdown first will win the fight after one rotation.

Forget about fighting 2v1’s anymore.

Anet’s goal was to make pvp more attractive to pve players…. and what they did was make it so anyone can come into pvp with a copy-pasted build and smash their face on the keyboard and win as long as they burn their cooldowns first.

I just had this happen to me…. also in DS.

30 minutes left on the timer, about to complete the event…

Everyone got dumped into a different map where 0 progress was made.

Same.

And it happened to me twice. Maps just shuts down, even with a healthy player count.

Happened to me twice again today…

fix this garbage…… you push a map to 100% and then get kittening booted.

Lag is so bad in verdant brink that gliders are having responsiveness issues.

I was trying to help my friend get the last poi in the canopy they needed for VB map completion…. and gliders are deploying on their own….. not deploying at all…. dropping mid flight….. and not dropping when you want them to….. a complete disaster.

Anet has been guilty of using “fake difficulty” since Flame and Frost and Sky pirates… and has been adding more and more of it as time goes on.

When i use the term fake difficulty i mean instead of making something challenging, (where you force players to learn a new mechanic, or do something outside the box) something is made unnecessarily difficult simply to prevent it from being facerolled.

If Anet doesn’t do this, we get the same old stack in the corner faceroll pve we have been accustomed to since launch.

Honestly I’m on the fence about the whole thing.

Some encounters really do need to shake things up a bit…

…but implementing encounters that blatantly ignore mechanics already in place… or follow no logical pattern is no way to do that.

Over inflating enemy health pools, adding unnecessary periods of invulnerability, adding more cheap 1-shot kills, adding attacks that ignore things such as block, stability, reflect, or invulnerability… are all things Anet is guilty of doing in order to provide the illusion of challenge.

Take the shooting gallery adventure in HoT for example.

Unless, by some stroke of luck, the planets are all aligned properly….. you will find yourself bashing your face into a wall attempting to complete this with a gold rating.

Why?

Targets are randomized near the end, and can spawn so far away from you that you are forced to take several seconds to even get to a location where the target is not obstructed.

How is that good design?

Well in Anet’s eyes…. whatever keeps people playing for longer is a good thing.

…but in the players’ eyes its a completely unnecessary issue that makes the task almost impossible unless the RNG is perfect.

Commanders and LFG

This commander tag + party system is so broken.

Sometimes if myself and a few friends are in a party…. and event pops up….. and I want to throw up my tag to attract more players on the map it becomes a serious hassle.

I tag up and my party must all accept the squad invite.

Then, after the event is over… I tag down…. and I’m not in a party….. and can’t party up with my friends again.

It is even worse being the commander for a raid and trying to add your 10th player to your squad….

You add them to your party…. and you are removed from the squad.

You abandon the party and get back into the squad, and you cant add the person to the squad.

The entire system needs to be scrapped…. and we need to have a raid lobby where the party size is upped to ten.

There is no excuse for this, Anet.

You knew how it worked in Guild Wars 1, and instead of doing the logical thing that needed to be done, you cut corners and this is what we have…

A hot mess.

Plot Twist…. you can’t get into any active maps because the expansion flopped.

Brink usually has a low-medium population most of the time.

Auric Basin has a decent population….. but I’ve never seen the meta event succeed there.

Imho the best map out of the entire “expansion” is Tangled Depths…. and I’ve pushed the map to the Gerent about thirty times now…. and I have still yet to see it succeed.
Even when all the preparations are complete, and everyone taxis people in…. One of the lanes always fails.

Constant failure = negative morale

negative morale = nobody wants to try

nobody wants to try = no attendance

no attendance = compounded failure

repeat

Dragon’s stand I’ve never even seen anyone trying to complete the events there…. not even once.

If nobody is doing the events there…. there is no reason to stay….. and if nobody stays….. the problem compounds itself.

Good luck waiting for Anet to do something about it tho.

Bottom tier WvW servers have had the same problem for years now…. where nobody wants to wvw if all they do is lose…. so once they hit bottom there is no bounce back.

They literally can’t figure out how to fix it.

The largest complaint heard unanimously was that people wanted permanent content, because having temporary content offered 0 replay ability and was ultimately a poor decision.

People asked for the temporary aspect of the Living Story scheme to stop…. not the 2 week content packets.

In every link you’ve provided, almost everyone is complaining about the lifespan of the content, and how there is no accumulation of content.

Yes, one of the primary issues was that LS1 was temporary. And then we moved into LS2, which is permanent, and the complaints continued. People still called for an expansion, and for a stop to the LS, I’m not going to dig out all of the threads, but there are many.

People assumed that 1) while the expansion was made, we would continue to get content – which we didn’t (not sure why people thought that, its the same with every other game) and 2) that the expansion would somehow offer “more.” Anet did exactly what their players demanded – they made an expansion, they gave us raids, and they gave us guild halls.

Could all of this, including the story have been rolled out in content packets every 2-3 weeks over the course of the last year? Probably, but that’s not what the vocal people desired. I remember arguing this with them, going round and round, for months. They wanted more content, all in one chunk so they could play through it at their own pace. And now, they still aren’t happy.

Btw, the expansion was only $50, not 60.

You can’t argue with someone who already has his mind made up.

That’s about the only thing you got right.

At the release of Guild Wars 2, players were promised free bi weekly content packages… Up until several months ago, that is how GW2 received all of its new content. The game’s content delivery and upkeep costs were funded exclusively through gem store purchases as well as the game’s sale price.

Many players enjoyed the release of new content, while some complained it just was not enough to keep their attention.

Anet decided it would be better off releasing those small packages all in a bundle in the form of an expansion. Anet also decided to put a price tag on the bundle… and what ended up happening was, players received less content (than what would have been expected in the same amount of time, had it been delivered through the Living World method), they paid for it, and the gem store still continues to support the game’s upkeep costs.

Neither method seems to work better than the other, and in switching between methods, what myself and many players have noticed is that Anet is simply stretching out the amount of down time between content releases, and is releasing less content than expected given a certain timeframe.

Method A is okay
Method B is sort of ok

A transition between methods A and B is nothing but down-time on content delivery.

Veteran players desire new content every so often to remain entertained, and what is Anet is delivering simply is not enough.

The Living world content delivery method was like breadcrumbs being fed to a hungry person at set intervals, just enough to keep the person from starving, but not enough to keep them satiated.

…while the expansion method was like letting a person starve almost to death, then giving them an entire piece of bread….. still not enough to make them feel satiated, but enough to put them back to the hungry level.

When are you going to give us a meal, Anet?

…and don’t tell us we are going to have to wait an exorbitant amount of time, because you are starving your community to death.

Are we going back to the Living Story updates every other week, or are you going to give them to us all at once labeled as an expansion?

If you plan on going back to the every 2 weeks thing, you are already behind…. since you are once again stuck in the transition between the A and B methods.

…and if you plan on bundling up more living world releases and putting a price tag on them, you may as well call it what it is….. a subscription fee.

You fooled myself and many others with the Heart of Thorns prepurchase.

…but you won’t be getting any more money from me until you eliminate all the smoke and mirrors and start being transparent with your intentions for the content delivery method.

I have no problem paying for content I feel is worth the price tag, and paying money is not the issue here.

I also have no problem paying every couple of months…. hell even EVERY MONTH…. if you delivered an appropriate amount of content associated with the price tag in return.

What IS an issue is deceiving your customers .. and tricking them into buying their way through a pay wall THEY ALREADY PAID FOR AT LAUNCH to continue playing the same old game they already had, (with a few minor additions) once the game went free to play.

The game was stale two years ago, and if you think reselling the game to us under false pretenses was a good idea, please think again for the next “expansion.”

Can we have a real expansion next time, instead of a glorified list of gated grindfest chores labeled as content?

At the release of Guild Wars 2 people were guaranteed what? You must have been playing a different game, because the bi-weekly content wasn’t offered until the Living Story and quite a bit into the Living Story. On release we were “promised” no such thing.

And it’s great to ignore people complaining about the release cadence being too fast and not having time to work on other stuff.

Actually I pretty much disagree with your entire post. It’s a revisionist version of history with a bunch of stuff you’re assuming and have no real evidence for.

One thing we do know though. The player base did ask for a paid expansion. At least a very loud portion of it did.

I couldn’t remember we got content every 3 weeks for the first 6 months then we were promised content every two weeks after a that. Probably because the game still had plenty to do six months after release…

it was three years ago…

…and Anet still delivered on its promises back then.

In reference to content packets:
“No need to buy them, Gw2 will feature consistent free content updates and in-game events going forward. Our goal is to make it so you get more from Gw2 for free than you get from a game you pay a subscription for.” – Colin Johanson

Also…. people asked for MORE content when they asked for an expansion.

People never asked for living world to stop, so that anet could save up all those releases, and SELL them to us all at once.

Fans of the franchise who were familiar with the game’s content doubling or even tripling with the release of every expansion in the original Guild Wars title don’t consider GW2:HoT an expansion. Hell… many people who never even played Gw1, but played gw2 from launch feel the same way.

HoT was not a true expansion…. and you can’t deny that.

It was a marketing tactic to get more money from fans by making them pay for content they were already promised for free.

Story time.

You go to an amusement park on a hot day and you decide to buy a small refillable cup, which lets you get free refills every two hours, you are able to refill the cup free of charge with your favorite soft drink…

but it just doesn’t seem to cut it…
and you are not getting enough to drink to keep yourself hydrated.

You are still thirsty.

You would really like it if you could get enough soda at once to keep you going until you were able to get a refill again.

You express your concern to a gentleman at the concession stand, he offers to “upgrade” your old refillable cup and he trades it for a different cup which he says is what you want since its much bigger. It is going to cost the same amount of money for the upgrade as it cost you to buy your original cup, but you assume its worth it and you happily pay the man.

That is when you get the new cup.
…and the cup itself is only 25% larger than the cup you had before.
You don’t get any refills… and must completely rebuy the large cup from now on.
You also have to wait 4 hours before you are able to purchase a new cup.

You immediately realize that you are going to be getting less of your favorite beverage less often…. so you say that you would rather have your old cup back.

The man at the concession stand instead of honoring your request, laughs and says…. “…but isn’t this is what you asked for?”

Here’s an even funnier scenario:

Anet nerfing something.

Since launch Anet’s “nerfs” have been minimal, and all they continue to do is buff the weakest specs…

They use power creep instead of using nerfs and balance.

Well guess what?

HoT elite specs just buffed everyone’s damage
….yet our health pools remain the same.

You can’t just power creep forever and ever….. you have to do some proper nerfs and proper balancing once in a while otherwise you end up where we are at in pvp.

Build diversity is at an all time low, and most players are funneled into running a handful of the same cheese builds…

Fights no longer require paying attention, using cooldowns wisely, or any type of awareness…. it boils downto who blows their cooldowns first.

…and unless everything gets nerfed we are eventually going to have a 1-rotation 1-kill meta. (we’re already pretty close to this if not already there)

…we want skill based pvp back…. but we will never get it for two main reasons.

1) The game (especially pvp) is dead and anet wants to encourage pve players to pvp.

…so they facilitate new players simply loading a cheese build… and as long as you know how to copy a build and activate skills you will be able to kill things.

2) Anet has no idea how to balance pvp because they don’t even play their own game.
All they see is the forums….
…and they don’t know the difference between legitimate and frivolous concerns, because the forums are filled with whiners.

You are literally attempting to use your own misunderstanding of the topic as a rebuttal against a 100% vaild point that has been expressed for several months now

This “expansion” is just Living World Season 3 behind a pay wall…. stretched out with gating and grinding in an attempt to get “expansion size gameplay hours”.

The fact that I’ve been waiting patiently for a sizable chunk of content to keep me entertained for years now…. and what we received…. was a gated grindfest.

A glorified list of chores that must be completed before there is any fun to be had.

A system implemented that enforces grinding content you have already ground into dust over the past three years.

We are forced to be casual players.

…yet we are still “active” so anet can boast its playerbase numbers… even if we only stay logged in for a short amount of time.

There is all this “new content” that amounts to nothing when it is not an enjoyable experience.

The quality of the content is what should keep players playing….. not the absurd grinding and gating.

Anet knew it could not keep the promises it made, and they remained deceitful about what they were actually doing…. which was simply putting Living World Season 3 behind a pay wall.

They labeled their actions as an expansion, and it was pretty much a big f you to all their loyal fans.

…but Anet doesn’t care.

Because they have a churn and burn playerbase.

They already got your money, so they care less if you are still happy down the road…. because there will be a new player who will happily fill your shoes after they fork over cash to anet.

Anet has transformed from a wonderful company into a money hungry monster, who no longer delivers quality products, and instead will do anything deceitful just to make a profit.

Anyone who is happy about HoT is either a newer player, or is a super casual who never really played the core game very much.

You can tell everyone how happy you are now…. and down the line when you get bored of how stale the game is, and YOU try voicing your opinions…. I hope you receive the same response from the new players who have come on board at that time.

…and when that future day comes, I hope that then it finally dawns upon you that you’re wearing our shoes (the unhappy veterans of today) and Anet cares nothing about you or what you want… and you remember this thread and this post, and you finally understand what I meant.

Leveling Elite Spec In PvP Rewards No Weapon

I just unlocked the daredevil elite spec in the pvp lobby and i was not given the staff, and the collection did not unlock.

It worked fine on all of the other professions outside of the lobby.

please fix asap.

I unlocked daredevil on my thief while I was in the spvp lobby, and I never unlocked the collection to begin the Bo staff, which unlocked for all the other professions immediately after spending the 60 hero points.

You can usually separate banners that are too close to each other by going into options and assigning a key to Next Ally, in Control Options. Using this key while standing by 2 banners should highlight each in turn, so that you can get the buff from it.

This is a workaround to the problem and not a solution.

There should be a small “cannot place banner here” radius around any banner already placed.

Either this is some ruse to throw people off, or anet have really just thrown all the old lore out and are just making up nonsense now. If these things were created 300 years ago then why did glint never mention them, why did we never see them in gw1?

But they were there all along! loooool, pls hire new lore writers anet.

What if I told you…the reason we never saw the exalted in the original Guild Wars…. was because we were the ones controlling them before they underwent their transformation.

I don’t know what sort of verification you need for this, but I watched the video and I’m impressed.

This is clearly the current record regardless of whatever holdup may have prevented you from being immediately recognized.

Your slick and sparky fight was spot on, your foreman was done correctly by pulling all mobs and fighting the boss instead of line of sighting and fighting them separate (like I’ve seen some “speedrun” teams do), but your generators could still use a little work.

I would keep at it and try and beat your own record again immediately while you wait… simply because your tactics differ from what I’ve seen others do, and that definitely played a big role in what earned you the time advantage.

What are the veteran players supposed to do???

Currently veteran players have had way too much time to gather everything they would ever want or need. When HoT hits that should change, there should be a lot more “end game” content to do with Masteries and increasing Fractals. This should be less of an issue.

There’s also another issue with removing the time gating: If they are to be pumping out raids at a steady pace (They mentioned 6 wings a year which is about 18 raid bosses). These raids will never become irrelevant content because they don’t plan on having another tier of gear. So in only a year you have veteran players feeling like they need to clear 18 raid bosses every day. That’s just ridiculous, that’s probably 4-5 hours of raiding every day, IF you have everything on farm status. That’s not sustainable…

While it feels underwhelming now, it won’t be if they get even close to their predictions.

I would rather have so many options that I couldn’t possibly do them all…. then do some things and be bored for an entire week. Just the option to say…. hey I have 5 hours to kill today…. and even though I did the raid yesterday… I can do it again today.

Without the option there….you are just facilitating stagnancy.

Gating raid rewards is just a ploy to stretch out the life of the content.

The content is what should keep the players playing…. not the gating.

There are already other rewards in the game like this.

Fractal Weapons for example.

There is no prestige… but also no way for players to trade skins…. so you are left with a system where everyone loses.

What I mean is this: you CAN tune a raid to be only doable by 1% of the population. Initially only 0.01% will succeed but then after strategies are spoiled another 0.99% will be able to do it.

What you cannot really do is prevent that 1% from being able to farm it. If they could do it once, they can do it again. The only way to prevent massive influx of rewards from these players is time gating. Time gating can take a very large number of forms. Respawn timers (EQ before instanced content, WoW world bosses), lockout timers (can’t enter instances, instanced respawn timers bound to raid leader/character/whatever) or finally the ‘you can do it as many times as you want but only get reward once per week’ lockout of GW2.

I am sure that top tier guilds can still profit from raids. I suspect it won’t be long before raids can be 9 manned. That last spot will then be sold for obscene amounts of money. Due to enrage timers one’s ability to sell more than 1 or 2 spots will likely not happen for a very long time, so prices will stay up. You won’t be selling specific item but a random roll for one. That, and/or completion achievement, similar to how some people get their dungeon master without actually doing Arah.

However I currently think that raids will not be tuned to 1% of the population – not if they want all classes to be viable. I’d make a guess of 5-10% being able to (eventually) participate.

Think to TT – it is almost impossible to completely PuG, but very possible to do if you have an organized core with random PuGs in vent. I suspect that instanced raids will run in the same vein – difficult to PuG but reasonable if you have some organization present.

Why would you ever want to prevent players from earning rewards they are entitled to?

The 1% of the community that can accomplish a successful raid should be rewarded, and not gated in any way shape or form.

In guild wars 2, the wealthiest people are never the most skilled players… which has been a huge problem associated with a lack of endgame content.

Now that we are finally getting some real endgame, if the rewards are just going to be gated it undermines the entire purpose of having endgame.

The Guild Wars 1 community thrived on endgame content farming, and supported the game and its economy for years to come after new content had stopped being released. Players would login every day and experiene endgame content as long as they wanted until they had to log off.

Guild Wars 2 has no incentive to keep veteran players logging in and playing without endgame content farming… there is just not enough to do.

Instead, anet perpetuates a churn and burn playerbase where new players love the game for a while but then end up being bored to tears. …but that doesn’t matter to anet because a new batch of players will come along and spend their money and replace the old players.

Why do you think the silverwastes is so popular?

There is no time gating associated with the rewards there.

It is truly the only area in the game where players can farm wealth endlessly…. and it is always packed.

The bottom line is… anet is forcing its playerbase, even at its most hardcore, to be casual….

Once a week for endgame?

come on.

It’s funny people seem to think current dungeons and fractals will no longer be run now that we have raids, but they have completely overlooked the fact that the team that balances loot rewards is very stingy and they have timegated every single pve reward since release.

I never said people wouldn’t still run dungeons or fotm…. but they are so painfully boring that you either
A) Don’t do them because you have already done them 82342342734 times.
or
B) You finish all the dungeon paths and fotm tiers in 2 hours and are forced to turn the game off and wait to play till tomorrow (where you are faced with thew same exact A or B scenario)

Also…. don’t think for one second anyone has ever “forgotten about timegating” Why do you think I’m even addressing this issue? Time gating anything is a lame way for Anet to keep players poorer for longer so they are tempted (even if they never do so) to trade real currency for game currency.

In a live stream they already stated there will be a raid currency, and you can save up this currency to buy particular items. Also there will be drops. They said even if you are not lucky on RNG you can save up currency and outright buy items from a raid vendor I assume

Also I do not expect anything to come out of raids to not be account bound. People who cannot complete the end game should not have a buy option. It devalues the entire experience of raids and the difficulty. Since nothing from raids is a higher tier in stats it will be purely for cosmetic and bragging rights.

I never said there was not going to be a currency system. It is a good system… but in GW1….. in DoA for example…. There was a HUGE market for the currency AND the rewards bought with the currency (tormented weapons, coffers, consumables, cosmetic items, etc) from the elite endgame area called the Domain of Anguish… and there would still be bragging rights because the items would be extremely expensive.

Difficulty gating is almost impossible in GW2. Most mechanics heavy encounters will be learned, spoiled and put on the farm status relatively quickly. A guild that can reliably kill a boss can certainly farm it.

With regards to account bound rewards – GW2 is moving away from non-account bound rewards for ‘prestige’ items (legendaries), so I wouldn’t expect them to add unbound items into raids. It’s unlikely that they intend raid rewards to be a source of additional income for raiding guilds.

Raid Rewards are to be gated so that you can only reap the rewards once/week.
…and rewards are going to be RNG based.

Why?

If you are going to FINALLY give us our endgame…. why are you going to put it behind a weekly gating structure…..?

You had the endgame right in GW1…. and you still can’t figure it out for GW2.

At best….
One day out of the week players won’t be bored out of their minds…..
while they smash their faces into the keyboard for a chance at a lucky dice roll.

…and the rest of the time, things are going to be no different than they are right now.

DITCH THE REWARD GATING

End game is about rewarding players based on their skill levels…. not getting a dice roll once a week.

Players should be awarded in the following fashion….

Every time, (regardless of prior completion date, DR, or any other BS mechanic) a player receives end rewards he should receive:

  • A set amount of gold
  • 1 Non Account bound exotic item
  • A chance for the higher tier loot (and when RNG doesn’t favor you, you instead receive a second exotic item)
  • A number of tokens that can be exchanged for worthwhile goods which are also not account bound.

That’s 75% guaranteed reward every time.
and only 25% of your total reward will be passed through the RNG slot machine.
(and the rng is for the really good stuff)

That way you don’t walk away empty handed…..
like some other “endgame” we have currently

You should be able to repeat the raid as often as you like without any penalty, DR, or anything of the sort.

…and if you are afraid of players getting their hands on the guaranteed rewards…. and having said rewards depreciate in value…. make the content challenging enough so that everyone cant just go in and faceroll.

Also… it should be noted that none of the rewards should be account bound.

That way… people who can’t complete the end game due to the skill cap can still save up money and purchase the desirable rewards from players who can.

You do realize that your wallet and bank are copied for the beta, right?

While your beta characters may accumulate items/currency, their wallet and bank are still separate from your permanent characters’ bank and wallet.

To simplify….
If you earn 100g on your beta toon and you swap to a permanent toon, that 100g will not be there.

The same goes for transmutation charges, dungeon tokens, inventory items, etc.

Nothing you earn on a beta character can be used by your permanent characters in any way shape or form.

Burn guardian fell behind in power creep ages ago.

There are too many counters available for the build to be meta or even viable, and running burn guard is basically a coin flip whether or not you will melt faces or weigh your team down like an anchor.

Necromancer for example can easily give the guardian back all of his burning with little/no effort.

I can’t believe people are still crying about guardian when it comes to burn…..

They obviously haven’t seen what ele is/was capable of.

Hello again i just want to clear things up so no problem :-)
I played LS2 again 5 days ago, it is just bugged, i have to live with it i guess for the moment. I still hope there is a chance to get those nomad amulets & maybe a nomad backpiece when HOT is released!!!

Right…. but I’m beginning to think there might be more criterion that need to be met before the amulets are available simply because the workaround does indeed work for many.

As I asked earlier…. have you completed the carapace/luminescent, and all associated silverwastes achievements also?

There is indeed a bug where they are not immediately unlocked for all players, but many of you are unable to use the fix/workaround, which means you are missing something.

Make sure of the following:
You have completed mastery all of Season 2 episodes on one character.
(This means you played and completed 100% of every episode on one character, without splitting it up between other characters)

Screenshot your story journal if you can’t get the amulets, and I guarantee you that your masteries are either split between different toons, or you are missing masteries.

So plaese take a look at the scrennshoot and tell me why i am not able to get those 2 amulets

If you have attempted the workaround by completing the first episode again on an alternate character it should work.

I did the whole LS2 all 8 episodes with an alternate character(as you can see on the scrennshoot) ;-(

Just to clarify for everyone. Unlike the Sinister Trinkets, the Nomad AMULET must be bought from Laurel vendors (the other trinkets, rings and accessories are obtained through the story, but not the amulet). The bug people were encountering was that the vendors would not have the trinkets for sale.

So basically, anyone who redoes LS or parts of it, you will NOT be rewarded with a Nomad amulet, the idea behind replaying the story was to hope it would unbug the vendor and thus offer it for sale to you. As such, you will still need to visit the vendor and purchase it!

OH REALLY i know that !!!
My problem is the Laurel vendors don`t offer me those nomad amulets !
I tried to replay on other char as you can see above!

Yes its clear you’ve played through the Living Story on your alts…. but when was the last time you redid an episode?

I’m not saying it needs to be completed on an alt…. I’m saying you need to play through a mission once to unbug the vendor.

Also…. just a question…. and I’m not sure if its related or not….. but do you have your carapace and luminescent collections finished as well as all of the associated LS + SW achievements in the AP panel shown as completed?

sometimes I screw with pugs….

If they complement my appearance, or say thanks for the team.
I usually tell them “kitten you” and vote to kick them.

I cancel after a second or two of course….. but its funny to see their reactions sometimes…. plus my buddies get a kick out of it.

This problem exists with all the professions, and not just the necromancer.

Guardians, for example, will occasionally instantly cast their knockback bubble the moment they enter downed state.

I wouldn’t hold your breath for a fix, though… its been this way since launch despite numerous complaints.

Clarification: Professions have their own MMR tracked, but it is not currently used in matchmaking because players can switch professions after a match is made.

So a loophole is disabling a powerful tool to generate good matches?

I’d, uh, kinda close the loophole…

The problem with doing this is that players can no longer switch to a more effective profession once they see the enemy team’s roster which happens quite often.

What does any of this MMR stuff have to do with 4 man teams playing against all solo joins?
