Is that for escaping off cliffs? Not sure about the Blinding power part either
In wvwvw, you will be ble to jump down cliffs and survive since you take 50% less fall dmg. the stealth is a bonus. wile fighting (roaming) in wvwvw you can use the environment to gain stealth saving your utilities or when they are not available.
I personally don’t use it but i can see it’s potential.
cooldown: 30 seconds
triggers: any cc type
effec: Removes CC grants 2 sec immunity to CC. Also aoe blinds
Rename it to “Unstoppable”
It is a fun trait to play with casualy.
In competitive play there are far better traits to take.
make stun breakers break it! reduce the duration to 5sec in PvP. also reduce it’s CD.

Sorry dude, but no one from a-net will replay to serious threads like this, they only replay to meaningless / funny / fluff threads. Not to mention they know we are right and will never admit it.

yeah, They gave us this trait that does more harm than good and want to force us into it, so instead of actually making it viable they nerf every thing else to make it look appealing… at least it is out choice to use it or not. As for last refuge, that one we have no choice… and it gets us killed allot more that it saves us, and don’t bother complaining about it!!! we’ve been doing that since beta and all they did was clean up the tooltip…
due to the long CD on thieves guild, you cant pull off this trick very often, what do you do wile it is on CD?

You guys are desperate to bring players into PvP aren’t you?! Here is a hint. Start to actually balance the game and ppl will naturally come back to PvP. The changes on Dez 10th will drive even more ppl away from PvP.
The PvP team keeps surprising every one with the worse possible decisions balance wise… professions that are balanced are being buffed/nerfed, already OP professions getting buffed, UP professions nerfed I mean… what game are you guys playing?!
Now the NEW healing skills, it is visible that you’ve put a lot of effort in making your favorite profession’s heals guardian’s, warrior’s, the engi’s and the mesmers, after that you thought… what now?! what will we give “the rest” of the professions?!
Who cares… just pull something out of you kitten and throw it in there faces! Then increase the rank points gain to make every one happy and call it a day.

I promises you that until every profession is treated equally and the person responsible for balancing skills starts doing his job like a professional, i will not spend another cent in this game nor ill set foot in SPvP even though i don’t PvE at all since im a pure PvP player. I’ll be playing WvWvW exclusively along with other, more balanced games.

Necro, mesmer, and ranger heals were underwhelming. The rest were okay.
Agreed except if I’m not mistaken, this new heal might actually be pretty OP for PU Mesmers, can’t be 100% certain on that yet though, but it may have promise for them. (Not that PU needed it, but regardless.)
you truly believe that thieves heal was OK?! a poison on a 45 sec CD that requires you to LAND 4 hits in order to get healed?! Not to mention you need to be in Cleric gear and and it is heavily trait dependent?!

Newsflash: you and the rest of the community ARE the testers. Have you seen the stupid amount of patches/fixes they apply after each patch?! its based on ow feedback.
They say that stuff they a very long time to test blah blah blah… basically they don’t have the stuff ready and need time to roughly finish it, then WE test it from them.

I was expecting then to come out with very little improvements and on a long implementation time.
so yah… I’ll stick with SWTOR until the next decent mmo comes out.
I do the PvP dailys once or twice a week and find myself to be the ONLY thief in the maps.

Miracle? No. But it’ll be a step in the right direction to fix the current meta. Problem is, we don’t know if the new meta that’ll come out of it will be any better or not.
But unlike the June’s patch, which simply added countless buffs across several professions, this one seems pertty serious about nerfing many of the things that need to be nerfed, and nerfing other things to compensate for upcoming buffs.
nerfing NOW to compensate for FUTURE buffs… sounds same to me… were is the balance in that?! balance between buffs and nerfs should come together. Nerfing now and compensating in a few month is NOT balance.
ill might come back to Gw2 after the patch to play a few days and see how it is.

Well I’ll stay as I am, since Atm I’m having a blast! Pvp is not only fun but it is also funny, enjoyable, skilful and incentives team play.
Ever since I went back to my Sith Assassin I just can’t stop playing it.
I hope in 1 year time wen I’m fed up of the next new mmo I can have the sam feeling feeling about my Gw2 Thief although I doubt it. I have very good memories from previous mmo that some times make me wanna play them again and lever brand new character. Gw2 will not be on that list… There is nothing memorable about leveling nor pvping (imo that is)
I’m talking about GW2 here, do you fins t acceptable that warriors have more mobility then thieves? Is it justified that they keep nerfing what’s left of thieves,mobility outside SB?

Seriously what’s up with the thief profession excelling at mobile and evading?! I hear promises and more promises from anet but all they have been doing is nerfing our mobility even further… on the next patch there is nother nerf… thieves are getting as mobile as a rock.
A-net is constantly nerfing thieves patch after patch with a promise of “compensation”, were is this compensation?

Chaining of C&D immediately after Stealth wears off is a bit of a cheap tactic but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do in a 4v1. Regardless, I think this is something that probably needs to be changed since it makes attrition builds have access to way too much sustain in target rich environments like these.

exactly, the crit change you get from gear runes traits etc is caped at 70%, (I’ve read it somewhere on the early days of the game and since i play thief I never forgot about it but still a confirmation from a dev would be appreciated).
Meaning that if you go over 70% crit it wont matter since it will not pass 70%. It can go over 70% with boons/food.
Again I have no proof of this…
That being said you can achieve over 100% with fury, side strikes, and signet of agility.

Town cloths are fun for people, AND there is money to be made because there are a lot of town cloths already buyable, but doesn’t serve a good purpose. I know engineers would buy the flight-helmet and the list goes on from there. So its income for them and more fun for the players. Plus you also have to realize there are different teams that work on PvP. To add this it wouldn’t shut down the whole group of people that work on PvP. :P
Ok, i agree but still believe there are far more important issues to attend to in PvP but if they have the man-power for the job without compromising or delaying the PvP much needed changes then sure!
Although I play an Asura Thief (everything looks terrible on an Asura for some reason… especially medium armor.) Ill keep buyng gems every now and then for a new finisher or skins.
Btw I love the new dagger skins I was gonna buy 2 of them! but after seeing an Asura with one equipped…. it is almost unnoticeable o.O’ … Obviously i didn’t buy gems for that…

Title: Visible WILE in stealth bug
This bug was just recently fixed and now it is back….
I can still see my character visible wile in stealth… it happens less often then before but it is more noticeable when i use CnD immediately follower by infiltrator’s signet, i’d say that 7 out of 10 times i do this combo my character remains visible to me wile in stealth to every one else.
I previewed it on my North and thought to by a pair for my asura thief but after seeing it on an asura i decided not to.
I don’t know what A-net is thinking… don’t they wanna make some money?! the cosmetics should appeal to all races… not to mention the cosmetic armor on the bltp… only the heavy armor is slightly appealing, the light and medium are worse than the gray items we pick up at lvl 10…
Thieves dont have a 2nd weaponset to go to. 1 ini per 1 sec should have been on launch in my opinion.
actually it was 1 init per second in beta and if I’m not mistaking at launch as well, it was nerfed to 0,75 later.
Since 5v5 was introduced, I never played 8v8 again in hotjoins.
The memory of such games is painful.
