World Boss Health Doubles

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Walhalla.5473

We need bosses that require thought to fight. Not a lot of thought, but something more than stand in one spot and autoattack.

I honestly don’t think they will change any of the existing boss mechanics, but if they made boss hits do double the damage they do now, players would be dodging / blinking / leaping all over the place. Let’s see them argue ‘grindy’ then

Well then People are saying " too hard" " just oneshotting everything" “too gimmicky” and more.

But srsly, I don’t think that the Boss HP was only doubled, considering how fast they melted before the HP Buff and how long they take now, I would say that they accidently increased the HP more than what Anet intended to.
Also Crits aren’t really working as intended and I can imagine that the World Bosses also have some Scaling Issues. Wouldn’t be the first time that a Scaling Bug can result in some ridiculous amounts of HP ( Hello TT )

Well I expected a Buff to these Bosses after they melted so fast the last Days, but now, wow. is this even just doubling the Health?, looks more like 10 times or 20 times. Another Problem here is that the Crit Spots aren’t working as intended, thus making much less damage than we could. Hope Anet can fix the Crit Spots and adjust the Health so they just have double the amount of HP they had earlier.

Anet please say something!

being that this is a “hot” topic, i think it wise of them to take a moment to think of a proper reply.

True, because right now, even one wrong Word or just mispelling one thing can make this entire Rage Explode into a Nuke strong enough to Destroy all of Tyria. Anet needs to be very careful of what they say.

Better to take some time ( especially after the E3 ) than just trow around a Post that could make the entire Situation even worse.

So bogotter make a video about the debacle.

Have seen the Youtuber linked in the first Post and they sound reasonable. Some more on Anets Side others not on Anets Side, but with valid Points.

What is sad that even People who are relatively negative about the Situation now have to say that they aren’t supported by Anet, otherwise no one would believe them.

To be honest. Anets Communication Skills are terrible. They were better once but their Ability to communicate has withered over the last Years of silence. Perhaps they are scared to say anything, that would be taken as a promise by the comm ( even if this isn’t a promise ) and then having People shouting " You promised " to Anet if the thing they wanted to introduce couldn’t make it into the Game but we don’t know. What they need to do is to improve their communication Skills massively by communicating with us much more and not be afraid of slipping up a few words resulting in a new Crapstorm ( which happened one or two times )

Right now we have a Crapstorm here, which isn’t new ( last one was over the Dragonhunter’s Name ), its like a normal Forum Day xD.
But the Problem I’ve seen here is that, an Opinion different as the ones joining the Crapstorm isn’t allowed. If you have a slighty different Opinion, then you are labeled as, White Knight, Fanboi, Paid by Anet, Anet Employee, Mentally Challenged, Braindead Idiot, Mindless Drone, and the List goes on. some of them are outright insulting. you should alwas respect the other Side and try to understand their Point instead of going personal. This is one of the most important thing if you want to Discuss something but 90% of the people here are ignoring this point and go straight personal. As I’ve seen even the other Side to go Personal this advice is going to both Sides. Respect each other.

For me, I can understand if someone isn’t going to prepurchase, because we have seen very little of content. It could be more but it could be very little in the Release and I also understand the ones who prepurchased, beause by prepurchasing you are able to test the Beta ( there were People out there who would pay up to 30 Buck just to play the Beta instead of farming Portals ), also they are confident that that HoT will include enough Content.

What Anet should do in this case where we don’t know if there is enough Content, is to show more, at least in the Beta Weekends. Even small Parts of other Maps would do the Trick, so everyone can see that there is much Content.

Another Solution could be an Extra Charslot with the Standard Edition, and another one with the Deluxe Edition, which makes it two for veteran Players. Why extra Charslot? Because of the new Class coming, it would fix some of the uproar here, some, not all.^^

Honestly, the Zhaitan fight. The whole flying on an airship, shooting at this giant dragon with rockets, holding the deck against waves of undead, the firework display and the pretty ‘fear not this night’ playing at the end. I really thought to myself, ‘THIS is how the ending of an epic fantasy game should be.’

;)

Not sure if trolling…..

For me its the Molten Duo pre Fractal, this was such a good designed Boss with the Berserker sending out Shockwaves that you can jump over and the kind of Shockwaves that only damage you if you jump or dodge. There should be more attacks that only do damage if you are dodging.

Another one, the Slick and Sparki Fight, another well designed duo Boss but with the Catch that you have to watch if you get the debuff and then get the Ooze to suck up the Oil. More meaningful Debuffs please.

Well I get why many say that Lupi is best Boss but I have to disagree. First Phase is just Boring. Dodging or killing Grub and cleaving Insects. Second Phae is annoying with his Necrid Barrage that tends to land everywhere outside of the Circles, if Combined with a Necrid Bolt, you can say Goodbye xD So yes, bad Luck can get you killed. And well Lupi can be cheesed to use the Necrid Barrage against him to kill him so quickly I have to wonder if there wasn’t some Pain Inverter involved xD

Phase 3 is a good Phase. With Life Stealing Abilities and the wonderful Necrid Trap that can hold the Player inside the Trap if not coutnered with Stability or Port^^

Also Lupi is in everyone of the 4 Paths.

GW2 going simple

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Walhalla.5473

Whatever happens, I can be assured of one thing. No matter what, I will always have the GW2 forums to tell me the game sucks the big one and everything was more awesome in GW1.

Because Memories of a good Game are better than playing a good Game right now.

And sry but GW1 was far from balanced. There were a few skills that were ridiculous, but the imbalance was hidden much better due to the thousand of skills ( Which, most were just crap )
Also you couldn’t get into content with every class in GW1 because Random Groups were really Triggerhappy with the Kicks. Being Wa/Mo? Kick. Being Assassin? Kick. I saw more hate against these “two” Classes than I see against Bearbows or Necros ( Yes, you Necros have it easy compared to the Assassins in Gw1 to find a Group )
We had also some Skills that were just beyond Broken. First was Ursan Blessing which created a Debate on how this was OP. ( Many Groups there were, 1 or two 2 Healers and the rest Ursan ) and some Arguments were just Silly " You should be Happy Assassins, now you won’t be kicked for playing that kitten class "
But the most Broken Skill was Pain Inverter. You see how fast Lupi can be melted with a “well placed” Barrier? Thats how fast Bosses could melt after using Pain Inverter if done right.

Also we had some Builds that were definetly not Balanced. Shadow Form Ele to farm up to 80 Mobs at the same Time ( Shadow Form was completely changed to nerf it ), 55HP Monks for farming Underworld ( starting Area had a change to Nerf the 55HP Monk a bit ). BiP Necros (ever saw a Character with Maximum 1 HP just to spam a skill that otherwise would take up some HP? ) just to name a few things that are ridiculous balance wise.

So while GW2 is far from balanced, GW1 wasn’t really better in this case and sometimes even worse.

The Silverwastes Maps are divided by the Community into two Types of Maps. One is an Event Map and the other is a Chest Farm map. First, ask if this Map is a CF or Event Map. It makes everything much easier. Or use the LFG Tool to join the Silverwastes Map you want to participate
Second, even a 50% Progress Zone can be a Chest Farm Map because certain Events are completed by the Zerg to get more Crests and Shovels and thus filling the Progress Bar.

Plea to reconsider adding "melee staff"

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Posted by: Walhalla.5473

Walhalla.5473

So Staffs as Meelee Weapons are not realistic? Ever looked at the Greatsword Skins?. Most of them are giant oversized Paddles and would be useless in combat if we are going for Realism, and no these things are not Joke Skins or are you saying that 80% of the Greatsword Skins are Joke Skins?

If we compare the more realistic Skins to the Staff Skins than well I don’t see a Problem with Staffs being used as a Melee Weapon. Proportionwise the Staffs are one of the most realistic Weapon Skins in the Game. They only seem small or thin due to Weapon Skins that are clearly oversized

Where is the Problem with Staffs as Melee Weapons? It’s not like they would break easily in a Combat.

On other game forums you would see something like this only when there would be large Changes to the Game itself or if there was a massive rebalancing going on. Open world is not "challenging group content"

Walhalla.5473

There is also the middle ground between open world and instanced, like the Marionette fight. Open World and instanced at the same time, it’s sad that the Breach and the Vinewrath weren’t similar to the Marionette

marrionette was really good imo

A good encounter yes, but a harsh reminder for Anet that the average Skill of the Playerbase was low enough for them to fail an LFR Raid in WoW ( and this thing is called Tourist Mode for good Reason ).

I hope we see more good Encounters like Marionettes in HoT, who are fun, have good Mechanics and different Fail Mechanics than just a Timer where the Boss just kittens off without any Consequence

its ok to have bosses that people dont beat every time, unless they play well.

Marrionette was good because it wasnt just about coordination, it was about player skill. And yeah, lot of people werent at the midrange skill level.

Oh yeah, and it was pretty varied/adaptive. 5 different bosses, lane defense, sometimes doing multi bosses. Many different ways to play the same event.

pretty good reward structure as well

oh well, they havent matched it yet imo.

They haven’t done anything similar to the marionette again because sadly the way it was designed it caused serious problems with the “average player”. The “average player” of GW2 doesn’t need much skill to play, because the open world can be zerged and be done while afk and pressing 1. So those who are trained to just do that will have a very hard time playing such an event.

For example, when some randoms are being thrown together on a platform without any idea of what to do because they turn off map chat or don’t read it, or haven’t read up the mechanics beforehand, or their build just isn’t good enough for the given encounter, then the entire thing fails.

Although the Marionette was a very good designed fight, maybe the best open world fight Arenanet ever designed, it had its own set of problems, namely the total lack of skill of the average GW2 player.

However, I DO believe part of the problem with the Marionette was the temporary nature of it. All players wanted the new achievements, the dailies and the new rewards. It’s really BAD to make hard/challenging content temporary. Maybe the next time they add challenging temporary content, they could have two versions, one easier TEMPORARY version during the initial release, then a harder PERMANENT version of the event later on after the release is done.

I would say, the average Player Skill is the Reason why the Bosses in the LS Season 2 were designed the Way they are. A bit harder than the Things in the Open World an having Mechanics that Forces the Players to learn them even if some Mechanics are a bit too dominant. But Anet wants the Players to actually learn the Mechanics and not just AFK them to Death, they want to raise the Skill Level of the Average Players, to make Bosses like the Marionette possible again. ( The Vinewrath is a toned down Maionette, but also a really good Fight )

The Results: Complaining about Bosses being gimmicky or too hard with every Move oneshotting the Player ( even though this isn’t true ). I remember one Guy saying that he doesn’t want to deal with the Adds of a Boss and just DPS him down because just DPS something to Death is a good Fight and a fight needs nothing more. facepalm

Hope that Anet will give us some really good Fights in HoT. The Wyvern Fight looks interesting and I hope that the Fire he spreads will stay for the entire Fight as some sort of a Soft Enrage. ( which would be far better than just a Timer )

i for one hope they are gonna make dungeons easier, last time i did a dungeon (SF) i got killed way to fast. (and unfairly)
i can’t port back on death unless the whole team is ether dead or out of battle (which is extremely annoying), the enemies are way more powerful then the open world and that’s including scaling and the worst part is that you need to know the dungeon like the palm of your hand or you’ll die instantly.

SF? I’m guessing you are talking about SE. Could you also talk about how you are getting killed unfairly? I don’t remember about a Mob that kills you instantly or a Boss Fight there.

And that you can’t port back until all are dead or the Fight is over is done intentionally. Back then you could port back and join the Fight again, which was called Rezz Rushing. Was patched out because it cheesed the Fights too much and made it impossible for the Group to lose the Boss Fight.

Everything will get “too easy” sooner or later, when people start learning exactly how to do it.

During the first weeks or so after the new Tequatl was released there were loads of posts demanding a nerf because it was “impossible”.

Weren’t people demanding the Nerf after the first Try where the best Groups took Teq down to 90%? Good old Times…….. Not^^

It’s like with every encounter ind every MMO ( aside from DPS Check Bosses )
The more People know about the Encounter and the faster they adapt to it, the easier it becomes for them. Now Teq is out for almost 1.5 Years, of course he is Farm Status now, People had enough time to adapt. ( Even the ones who are saying that LS Bosses are too hard ) and so he is at Farm Status.

This is something Anet can’t change, over time even the most Challenging Content will become trivial. They could change the Encounter Mechanics every Year but this isn’t realistic.

Just imagine what would happen, if the Boss Fights in HoT will have more Mechanics and are harder. I saw people crying over the Slick and Sparki Fight in the Aetherpath for being “too gimmicky” and I saw one who said that in the Barradin Fight, that the Add Mechanic was too gimmicky because he just wanted to nuke down the Boss.

This again. First: I’ve not seen one Attack that One Shots you, and I was hit by every attack at least once. So could you tell me which attack kills you in one shot.
Second: The few who secceed it? It’s more the other way. There are only a Few who didn’t succeed it. This Fight is aimed at the Average Skill of the players, not at the Hardcore God Skill Players some seem to think of.
Third: Constant attacks? There are Patterns in the Attacks, learn them and you’ll have no problem dodging his Attacks while lighting up the Fire.

And at last. I you can’t do this, don’t rage, try to learn the fight, the mechanics and its pattern. The fights will only get more difficult in the future and raging about a challenging fight isn’t doing you a favor. People won’t take you serious if you do this. Instead of wasting energy for some rage post you could try this one again.

I’m not quite sure if you’re agreeing with me or not… BUT I agree with you!

The ironic thing is, that these are skills every player should be able to harness at this point in the game.
If we go by story, players should have experienced the PS up to Zaithan.
Maybe went through story dungeons and the fractals at least once.

This was precisley my point when I brought up the Marionette.
When Arena Net designed and released that content they expected us (as a playerbase) to have an understanding/mastery of certain fundamental skillsets (skillsets core to the game’s mechanics). The Marionette (and to a lesser extent the Watchwork Assault Knights from Assault on the Breachmaker) revealed— much to their surprise— that we (as a player base) very much did not posses said mastery.

Don’t remind me about this time. Marionette was a good fight, but what I’ve seen with the average Skill of the Players was terrifying. Everytime there were players telling other what to do, which got ignored. I was asking myself what was wrong there. The Champion Mechanics were simple and easy but seeing Champ 2 failing and failing and failing was depressing. It’s like watching the Carriers getting thrashed now because now one is stealthing or healing them….
But one year ago, at the Marionette Time, Anet dropped a ball and told us that there was a certain percentage of Players who didn’t even know that Traits exist. THAT was shocking.

Sometimes I wish that Anet comments on such " Too kittening hard" Threads and post only “L2P” in this Thread or they ramp this Boss up to the Point of Impossibility for one day as a Reaction ( of course with ingame Mail what has happened ).

Perhaps Anet will bring in NPE 2.0 that will remove any kind of Mastery, introduced in HoT because it’s too confusing for some players xD.

Ok now getting Serious. I have some simple Advice. If you see an Add in a Bossfight that is immune to damage, look at the Area, in Most of the Fights there will be some AOE Field tht gives you a Buff. Try it with the Buff, in 95% of the Fights this will work.
And regarding the AOE Fields. The colors have never changed. Red Cirsle were alwas bad Fields and White Circles something from Allies. The same goes for the Discs aka AOE Field 2.0. Anet has never changed the meaning of the Colors, so it is alway this.
Red: Bad Stuff happening
White: Good Stuff happening

And if you are not sure if an AOE field is good or bad and if you are stuck at some point, just go in and see what happens next. Just as an advice

What do WE know? We know, that an Expansion is coming, it’s Name, the Place where we are going to, that it comes with a Mastery System, new Challenging Content ( well they said that for the original Dungeons before Release, so I’m a bit sceptical about this ), a new PvP Mode, new WvW Map and one Specilization for every Class + a new Class.

What do we don’t know. Well everything else. We don’t know how big these Features will be or how Game Changing they are. We only know that these Features exist.

So we can’t say that this expansion is too small as a matter of fact, since we know, well not much about it.

The Fact that the Bubbles heal the Boss for 2% when they die near him doesn’t really help either and it looks like AOE is killing the Bubbles on the Boss. But now, everyone should know that this Myth is busted. It’s not like the times where for example a Myth like " Mew under Truck" from Pokemon Red and Blue could survive long. What I see is, that a SW Map on 0 – 20% will progres very slowly, because no one is willing to work for the Map to Progress, and if a map is under 20% it looks to the Players like it will take too long, not many people are willing to join a map with less than 20%
But at 20% People are going into the Map via LFG, and the Progress is going faster. and at 30% it doesn’t take even a second before the Group fills up. But when the Events are over everyone seems to be jumping to a new Map, instead of working together to Progress faster. The Result is a slow progressing SW Map, which takes ages to go to the 20% but then you can fill the map very fast, and Progress is going to be really fast.

Future of existing PvE Zerker Meta in HoT

in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Walhalla.5473

Like some People said it. Zerker Meta by itself isn’t the Problem, it is more of a Symptom than the Cause of a Problem. Mobs have terrible AI, attack slowly but hard, so you have no Problem to avoid almost all of the damage and just bash the Mobs down. Or, the Mob Design is the Problem.

Well at least Anet is experimenting with the Mob Mechanics and the Mordrem are a big Step in the right Direction. Positioning, Target Priorities and CC are more important than ever. Don’t want that nasty Teragrif to knock you down over and over? Cripple it and watch it trip. Don’t want to be eaten by that Wolf,? Show him your face. Also, not doing enough Damage on these Husks? Use Condition Damage.

It also seems that these kitteners have some Priorities. Everytime I man some of the Siege Weapon, the Wolves and Teragriffs decide to pay me a Visit.

To the Condi Damage, this sort of Damage has some Issues. Long built up to make some Damage ( which isn’t a Problem by itself ), Damage not comparable to Direct Damage, only 25 Stacks, your Stacks being removed by someone who is weaker at Condition Damage and Most Enemies with a Big HP Pool and low Armor..

Also just One Spec for each Class doesn’t mean, that this has to be just a little change. It depends on how Anet is going to implement them. Doing it right, it could be more like double the Classes, doing it wrong, well, just a few new Skills, nothing more. We will see how well it is going to be implemented.

First of all, saying that thos who could beat the Boss have God Like Skill isn’t really good to start with, some players sure have those skills, but most of the players here are just normal players, playing to have fun. Some with more skill some with less and all of these normal players killed the Boss. By saying that you are a normal player and coming up with these Problems you are just doing one thing. Disgracing the normal and Casual Players and being responsible for their bad rep.

Secondly. Have you ever used AOE Skills? Even once? This is a serious question because AOE fields had two Colours since the beginning. Red for Bad Stuff and White for Good Stuff and friendly AOE Attacks. White Circles aren’t supposed to be something to avoid, if you used AEs just once you would’ve known that.

This isn’t Anets fault. Only a Learn the kittening Basics issue.

Here, how to kill him:

Phase One: Avoid cone attack, red circles and kill the two adds.
Intermission Phase: Don’t stand in the middle
Phase Two: Move from red circles, avoid moving Ground, get the fire buff, set the edge on fire, kill add while on fire and burst the Boss.

To answer the Thread Title. Why not? It’s about Time they announce something Expansion related. What should they do? Stopping all work on the Expansion, scrap it and try to fix Story Point in the past? GZ you would just kill the future of GW2.

Those leaked revenue forecasts predicted a bump in Q3, I reckon it will release near the end of Q2

This or at the Beginning of Q3. You don’t expect a bump until you are planning to release th Expansion at this time. I would say we will get HoT in July or August.

Heart of Thorns Dungeons/Raids/Fractals

My guess:

New dungeons, possibly new fractals, no raids.

Large-scale open world bosses in the style of Scarlett megahologram/marionette/vinewrath in the place of instanced raids.

WEll they have hired a Raid Designer not long ago, which is a hint towards Raids. You don’t hire someone who is specialized at Raids without planning Raids.

People like OP are the reason why Anet was silent all the time. Twisting everything Anet says to something negative.

Why are we doing all this anyway?

Sure we nuke the Dragon Lairs with enough magical Energy to kill the Dragons. What can possibly go wrong. Well first the Dragons are balancing Magic in the world, before killing them all we should find a way to balance Magic ourself or it could get very ugly for Tyria.

Second, the Lairs of the Elder Dragons are most likely above or near a Ley Line Intersection and we know that messing with them has always consequences. Poking in one as awakened Mordremoth who is hundred of Kilometers away and I don’t have to mention Thaumanova. If we nuke such a place with a Ley Line Intersection we could cause a catastrophy which effects the whole world and could render magic go wild everywhere on the world and which could be worse than EDs eating most of the magic and killing all sapient races in the process

I just pity those poor mordrem champions running around with half bladders. Their lives must be hell.

It does explain the Thrasher’s extreme spillage.

And maybe the yellow liquid the Troll is throwing isn’t honey but, well, kitten becuase their bladder can only hold so much.

This "Meta" has to end

Walhalla.5473

Every Meta has to end someday….. Only to be replaced by another Meta.

Many people here are under the false assumption that the Lack of Trinity is the reason for our current Zerker Meta. But it is not the Lack of Trinity that is responsible for the meta. It was the Lack of Experience with the Lack of Trinity. Many Mobs and Bosses have Low Armor with high HP, they attacks are Slow, hard hitting and not really scaling with the Toughness Stat so they can kill defensive Players almost as fast as Zerkers.

Combine it with the poor AI and you have the ideal situation for the Zerker Meta.

Luckily Anet is aware of this and the Mordrems are a step in the right direction for more diverse Mob Encounters. They still can hit hard but only under some circumstances, have low HP to the point that even Lvl 84 Mobs can be killed rather quickly, are more condition friendly. ( It feels like, all of them have higher Armor than the Mobs earlier in the game ) and they even can react to some conditions. ( Hello crippled Terragriff )

So these Mobs are a step forward and if Anet keeps improving on these, maybe we will see another meta, or the Zerker Meta will be upgraded with some other kittenibilities.^^

What I find interesting is the fact that the Pale Tree had to Protect the Dream at the Attack on the World Summit. Not only was everyone there attacked, but the Dream was also attacked. And I see some connection between Mords Dragon Champ and the Dream. It seems to be connected with the Dream somehow. We see this Special Dragon Champ in the Dream when we create a Sylvari Character where it looked like he wanted to invade the Dream. And in the Attack on the Summit looks who is also there. Our old buddy, the Shadow of the Dragon.

Well some might think that this is another prove of Sylvari = Former Dragon minions Theory but lets be honest, this Theory is brought up every time something happens on Tyria with new " evidence". I don’t see substantial evidence there, I see more evidence against this Theory like the fact that they are Immune to ED Corruption but ED Minions are not.

It could be that this particular Champ has the Ability to interact with the Dream at some places in Tyria, which could make him a valuable asset for Mordremoth, especially if no other of his Minions posess this Ability. Perhaps we will find out more in the Future, with details about the dream and this Champ, if he really has the Ability.

I thought that Tangled Paths was shorter, this one felt like double the lenght. But it is not a wham Episode, more like a bridge Epsisode with the intent to carry the Story to the next big thing, which I wouldn’t mind but we had now 2 Bridge Episodes who raised questions but gave almost no answers. And since the the next Episode is likely the last in Season 2 it does feel like these Episodes are on the wrong place and we are getting nowhere. Well not as bad as this feeling was in Season 1 but still.

@ Anet: At this point now, you should start answer Questions, more than raising these. You are still doing it the other way and this is a problem for the Late Season 2. Late Season Episodes shouldn’t raise so many Questions but start to answer Questions and not just doing this in the last Episode. You should have give us another flashback, one with Caithe and Wynne ( its obvious that at one point they have met about this thing that Faolain was obsessed with. ) and it could have answered why Caithe stole our Egg, the very Egg the Pale Tree has reserved for us in the Loot Table.

From another Thread. I think that this Episode ended too early. It would have been better if we had got the last Flashback in this Episode, instead we are now waiting quite a long time.

For the Positive things:

I liked the Stealth Mechanics in Meeting the Asura. While some find it annoying to wait for the moment to get the Job done, I don’t mind waiting because this is something I expect in Stealth based Missions. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike, slip through Guards and sabotage things was fun. Its weird that the Guards don’t react to the knocked out Workers but I guess this is because of Engine Limitations.

The Boss Fight at the end of No Refuge was also good. The Boss didn’t have so much HP and some good attacks. The Elementals are killed really quick qith Conditions and Backstab Spamming him was funny as hell.
Also almost all of the Bosses introduced in Season 2 have better mechanics, are better balanced etc than 95% of the Bosses at Release of the Game. It shows that Anet has learned from the mistakes they made with their first Bosses. Hope that they still get better at this.^^

Caithes Skills were also fun. Stoning Mobs with normal Attacks, having three Death Blossoms at once or just the ability to spam backstab at every mob is fun and it feels that she is very skilled with her weapons.

One word: disappointment

The Teragriff was nice with the different Attack Patterns. The Hints from the Aspect Master were a bit misleading but I guess it shows that he isn’t an experienced Fighter. But it is possible to meele the Teragriff, just have to know where he didn’t put out the massive Damage.

Troll wasn’t bad but it could’ve beend improved with a bit less HP and making his Stone Spike faster. Also the Safespot where you could stay the entire Fight should’ve been worked on so you actually have to move in this fight.

Caithe is now a Ninja Looter, something that shouldn’t be possible in GW2. Reported her for using hacks, hope she gets a lifetime ban.

Ok enough joking.

First its weird that the Master of Peace is getting deeper into Mordrem territory with every step while trying to protect the Egg. Its like, he wants to go there. First, they fly fly west to the Maguuma Wastes and then he is going northwest…. alone. But what lies there?
Two things. First it could be Mordremoth, but since we don’t know his exact position we can only speculate.
Second, the Bloodstone and I think this is the Reason why he is heading there. After all the Bloodstones are magical articafts and he could have tried to used it to nourish the Dragon Egg/Baby after hatching. But where could he get this knowledge of a bloodstone position? There are at least two Factions here with the knowledge of it. The White Mantle and the Durmand Priory, and since he got that Egg with the help of good old Ogden, he could also got the knowledge of the Bloodstones from him..

And to Caithe, well thanks to the Trailers Season 1 and the kitten in the summary it was more than obvious. Her unusual behaviour didn’t help. But was this Caithe or not? We can only speculate because we didn’t got anything, nothing about a possible motivation, a hint who she is working for, well nothing. Also it feels like that it should’ve gone a bit longer with another mission after this instance.

Wait...that's it?!
