They could easily put in some of the reusable content they have lying around (sab, crown pavilion etc). But no that would be sensible…
Except, as has been pointed out in one of the many identical threads to this one, SAB can’t return because one of the previous updates to the game broke it. It’s not a simple case of flicking a switch in the code.

Then keep it varied, there are plenty of ways to level as I already mentioned earlier.
Map completion, crafting, EotM, PvP, Dungeons, world bosses. Switching between those can keep things interesting, and levelling multiple professions at the same time also helps keeping things fresh. Not to mention having some friends to play with goes a long way.
If all of that fails, you can always just level from just the login rewards (you can get 16 tomes every 28 days). Just do what you want to do on your lvl 80 character while you while your alt slowly levels. Sure it takes a while but at least you didn’t have to do anything for it.

I’ve played a lot of MMOs and gw2 has the worst leveling grind of them all imo.
I have 3 lvl 80s and that last 80 was such a kitten drag I almost gave up on it.
It’s so kitten boring. I would literally pay for instant 80, and I hated that feature in WoW.
Not sure what gw2 you have been playing lol.
Levelling in this game is easy as hell. I have 16 lvl 80 characters and currently working on 8 more for HoT. Once you level that many characters we will talk

Shops often place release dates on their online stores even though no actual release date is known. Never understood why they do that.

I was speaking of a hand plow (the word that gets censored) since it’s the closest thing to a tool shaped like a sword. But if you’re talking about plowing something by dragging something along the ground, it’s quite a hyperbole since the female GS user indeed doesn’t drag it along the ground, just holds it low. Don’t know what kind of dirt you’ve been plowing to do so by hovering over it…maybe moon dust?
There are some swords that hit the ground but that’s beside the point. The example isn’t perfect yes, but you know what I meant. You don’t have to nitpick it. :P

I was saying that in the current stance, the greatsword is more useful for plowing a field than anything else (as it looks like you drag the blade through the sand). I never said the actual stance is similair to a plowing stance as a plow is something you push while a tractor/cow/horse pulls it.
You like the way females drag the sword, that’s fine of course, but I would have preferred it if they just carried it the same way males do.
But I think it’s time to go back on topic, it’s not like anet will change the animation anyway so I might as well stop discussing this

Erm.. that’s how I read it. ‘Nothing wrong with female characters holding swords like that, or the asura.’ (as in it’s not wrong for asura to carry swords like that either). Implying that asura females drag their swords as well. To which I replied asura actually hold their swords upwards.
Before you make a post saying that you were confused and say that when I said female characters, you thought I meant all female characters, you’ve been playing the game for a long time, and you’ve been on these forums more than long enough to know better.
(also, Asura carry them on their shoulders, totally different from upwards)
No, asura females hold them upwards just like human/asura males do (see below). This may not be what you meant, but it is what I meant.
I think we are simply having a misunderstanding. It seems you think I’m talking about how they hold the greatsword when sheated (though correct me if I’m wrong). All I said was that asura female characters hold their greatswords upwards (which they do), as in not holding them like a plow like females of all other races do. Since the discussion was about that in the first place I didn’t see the need to specifically state I’m not talking about how they sheate their weapon.

This is how you hold a greatsword.
The sword in that gif is actually a Longsword. It is 52 inches long, making it much shorter than the wielder’s height. The Greatswords in GW2 are gigantic monstrosities way bigger than the characters holding them. Not really. From this position you can only attack and this attack will be slow and predictable. You can’t defend yourself. As a bonus, if you hold it so low, you may trip and fall.
When running around/in motion, you hold it behind yourself like that.
You hold it behind yourself, but not like that. You hold it up. It’s a greatsword, not a plow.

Same here. I mainly have female avatars in games but as a child I played with green army men and lego.
I get that some people can’t identify with a toon of the opposite sex. But then I wonder, why can you indentify with a different race? I have seen people say they can’t identify with a female character, but they can play a charr. So you can identify with a large hairy bull cat monster, but not a human female?
Imo the fact that in video games, you can be anyone and anything you want is one of the things that makes it so appealing. In the fantasy world of video games you can temporarily become something completely different. I personally never understood why some people try to make characters exactly like themselves, not that there is anything wrong with doing so. But I just ask myself, you enter a fantasy world, can be anyone or anything you want, and you pick yourself? I like to find something a little bit more creative
Again I’m not saying there is anything wrong with playing as yourself, to each their own, but for me personally I like to be someone completely different in the world of video games.

Yes I get what you are saying, in it’s current state the necro is far behind the mesmer, but considering the OP is comparing the upgraded mesmer vs basic necro, that’s a rather unfair observation. Right now Mesmer overshadows the Necromancer by far, wether it will stay that way or be fixed with the necro upgrade, we will see in the future.

We don’t know what the necro specialization is yet. How can we already tell that an Elite Mesmer (for lack of a better name) is far superior to an Elite Necro if we don’t even know anything about the Necro elite spec yet? All we know is that it has a greatsword, that’s it.
Yes the Elite Mesmer took away some things previously unique to the Necro, but who knows maybe the Elite Necro will get some groundbreaking new mechanic. It’s too early to tell.

i dunno about you but i love the female one, finally an armor that looks more fantasized and not a hulking tuna can.
I really love the legs, looks like an improved version of the ascended light leggings.

i hope they are gonna make trait unlocks acount bound (and i heard they are), if so i hope this means all my grandfathered character will unlock all the traits.
i am surely never gonna unlock them with this BS system, it would mean the end of this game if they even force me to unlock them on my existing characters.

No game company develops for all languages, yet it seems a.net should be the one to do this, entitled much ! I would rather they put that extra effort into things that actually matter for the game, like builds templates…..
Most gaming companies pick the top languages that the most people in their service region speak.
Which a.net has done beautifully to a very high degree of quality.
It is not a.net’s fault your native language is not supported by the game, yet I do not see the portuguese or any other minority community starting a kerfuffle about it.
Imagine this complain:
Why is my native swahili language not supported ?
I paid for the game to, I want my native language in it, so I can understand the story !
