Could turn it into every other mmo for a day. All mobs below your level are white, all mobs 1 level above are champs. Every mob your level is regular old mob. Infinite spawns for some reason right outside the city gates.

If you have a empty character spot create a character, drop everything into it and then delete character. What I have done with all the junk like this.

Difficulty is fine, the pre events are fine up to the strange little 4 minute wait until the golem explodes. If that was reduced or changed somehow to make more sense would be fine but difficulty like I said is absolutely fine for the area it is in.

I would love new stuff but as the poster above linked it sounds like we won’t get anything but PvP and Raid updates until probably June. Personally I could live without both but someone must be enjoying them.

They have posted in various places that they are working on or would like to work on all except race change. Race change they have stated would be more work than benefit and they will not be doing this.

You can’t buy ascended armour or weapons only craft them or hope for a lucky drop. You can make some good money crafting and selling high end goods. Up to you what you do with it.

The best way is the way that is least annoying for what you want to get. Lots of gold from silverwastes but I hate it personally. For my play style a couple of world bosses that give good gold for time spent plus farming for mats I would need to pay for. I make enough to get what I want. If I “needed” to make huge amounts I would not enjoy the time I had to play the game frankly.

Either you want a quote where they said new legendaries were coming, or you want an iron-clad legal statement guaranteeing something, when you know very well that absolutely everything ANET says will happen is always said with the oft-repeated disclaimer that things are subject to change. Don’t go changing the goalpost. It’s really unbecoming.

It is an interesting idea. The offhand weapons are not currently set up to do what you want but with new weapons released with new Elites it could be implemented.

every weapon skill can be put on auto attack, just push ctrl+right mouse. You mean attack chain I think.

I believe the mean out of the large collection you have 2 that can be called up immediately. Only one of those 2 at a time though.

I think their pets should be able to dodge and the player could control the dodge somehow.

With the pets taking much less damage now from indirect aoe (ie not targeted directly at pet) they don’t need to dodge. Before they where dead more often than alive, now my pet dies rarely if at all.

Very clearly portrayed.
You may be totally used to circumventing the masses of vines blocking access to many areas. Remember when it was new? Did you try to accomplish as much as possible without help? That’s the difference.
You might feel thrilled or empowered by getting your achievements done in a zerg.
Some players eventually want actual individual accomplishment.
Hot goes a long way towards discouraging that.
Chants of “do it with your guild” are as pointless as “help with maps” to an individual trying to explore.

I have all 4 maps done at least 2 times each, Dragon Stand I have 9 times since it is so easy to do. I play solo 98% of the time, just because I enjoy it, does not mean I don’t join in a meta event. The only ‘gating’ I can think of is you need updraft in DS, which frankly is easy to get. The most annoying map is Auric because of a short window to get a POI just south of the southern wp and the story requirement for inside the city (which can be gotten around with help). So these huge hindrances of exploring are a phantom.

Design by not even committee since a committee usually has some grounding in reality. Design by mob, take the least competent member divide by number of people involved equals the competency of the mob.

There was a picture in the HoT website (can’t find it now) that showed a hydra surfing into the new lions arch on a huge wave. Could be artistic licence or the direction the game is going. The lack of work on underwater combat sort of limits this though.

People where complaining in forums about other players joining their group, changing requirements and leaving ie trolling. The new map windows are new, they need to be taken into account but no one outside of the company knows when or how this will be taken into account.

You cannot buy the shovels without doing a blind trust trade. I personally find silverwaste to be very, very tiring and not in the least fun. Others think it is great which is fine but doing an hour of running in circles to get 4 shovels when I need 50 for my guild hall is a hill I don’t really want to climb.
A trade system within the guild storage to exchange crests for shovels would be absolutely fine since you cannot take anything out of this system anyway.

You can repeat it on the same character by replaying it in the story journal, that’s how you do the achievements. But you won’t get any rewards.

True, I was forgetting about that since I have so many different characters and you unlock the achievements for all characters now, this means I only run the new story once per character.

You have the skins unlocked and the collection for the more advanced backs are not affected whether you have the backpack in your inventory or not.

Absolutely not. Would add a huge amount of bloat to the DAT file, would need extra staff to create it, different staff to maintain it all to re-invent what is done very well by several companies that focus of this type of thing. A complete and utter waste of time and money.

It is a placeholder for the currencies that are now in game. I got it via mail one weekend to my non beta side of things. I keep it as a curiosity, it will not become anything else.

I recently claimed my second private guild hall with the help of great people I know in game. It took 4 of us to take Gilded Hollow and 5 of us took Cliffside. I now will take both of them up to 10 and see what happens from there but frankly just having the workshop open is fun. That gives me a thrill.
I have gotten several of the lesser precursor weapons as well as an expensive one, spark from junk I regularly throw into the forge (not bought just regular rare drops), did not give me a thrill.

I assume something like 2,12,50 refers to Fractals that the group wants to do, but what does “P1 Exp” mean?

‘Exp’ could mean ‘experience points’ (wanting to earn XP) or ‘experienced’ (asking for someone who knows the content) but I can’t figure what P1 is (I’ve seen several ‘P’ numbers).

This has been answered but I am curious why people put this into the general LFG section. There is no indication of which P1 when they do this, is it just a hit or miss thing to get people to party with you? Also people who put nothing in the description just have a profession sitting there with no indication of where in the game you are. Why do this?

You ate your burger, did not ask for refund while eating it. Came back months later and said I want a refund for this burger I ate a long time ago. There could be some company in the world that would do such a thing, incredibly hard to find one still in business after a year though.

This has been suggested several times and I too would not mind seeing it. It is just a matter of where on the priority list it is or even if it is on the priority list.

You may be a little bit wrong assuming yearly releases of expansions.

So people in a social guild are only in the guild hall to be social? This is a problem? If the halls where filled 24/7 it would mean the other areas those people usually are in are now empty. You will then have people demanding that those areas become more attractive to be filled 24/7. Rinse and repeat.

You can trade with others, it is just not supported by the game. If you or they scam action will be taken but no gold or goods will be recovered. You also can’t use LFG which is good and can’t spam chat which is good. Overall can’t see a downside with the system in place now.

won’t get into a debate but many think that spear-gun fishing/harpoon fishing/trident fishing is more proper than sitting with a line waiting for something to happen.

We can already fish, could use the scales and such as recipe items.

I am not sure how to phrase this but I think it would be neat to have living moving things in the halls. They seem quite empty even with all the decorations about.
Some birds flying around, some of the various beasts from different zones walking/swimming in the areas of the hall would be cool. Would be non hostile to guild members and guests, don’t know if you would want them to be hostile to GvG combatants, but could add some spice. No loot drops at all is a given.
Not to mention a Dr. Evil fantasy of sharks with laser beams on their heads would be fantastic.

Some eggs vanish before you can lay any damage on them, go the route you find the eggs last long enough to damage them, usually crimson and cobalt, amber are gone even before they can officially be attacked thanks to the necro trait.
