Minor buff to QZ, not sure how pet buff will work, but initial CoE run is looking grim…
Other than that nothing of importance for me. All in all it’s as I would’ve expected, neither glad nor dissapointed. And no balancing next patch…it really will take a year to get to a good state…

And ANet, no matter how much you try and push it I will not play beastmaster…unless you rename the class to it.

I’ve tried SnR a few times now on Lupi (one of the few places it was really handy) and my pet’s never started ressing if it was downed (it used to work back in the days though), it’ll run over to an ally though, but will do nothing. Same if it gets swiped during ress. With a 90s cooldown it was pretty prone to be a wasted slot before. And now it won’t ress defeated allies? I think I’ll stop slotting it ever…

Except that’s not what it means in the slighest. Common misconception.

Ranger=/= ranged combat, even though it shares the letters. Ranger means ranging the land, etc.

Example: Aragorn is a ranger of numenor. He does not specialize in ranged combat because he is a ranger, he is a ranger because he ranges.

Legolas on the other hand, may or may not be a ranger, but it is not because he specializes in ranged combat.

Ah the old Aragorn-argument…Aragorn didn’t use a pet either, does that mean GW2 Ranger shouldn’t use a pet?

While it would look nice, people are finally starting to open up to WvW now that you have playable frame rates…

Having tried to play Healer Elementalist and usually only running with good people I know I can safely say I feel I would’ve supported better by doing more damage…

The main complaint on precursors is it’s reliance on rng…how does this suggestion solve that?

Would be nice if it was impressive. The only thing that would sound impressive is a new dungeon. But the cynic in me makes me suspect it will be as easy as CM story on launch, but without the reward.

I don’t think that skimpy armor rises to the level of sexual content. So I don’t understand why we can’t have so more skimpy armor or even kinky armor.

You can already dress down your character to underwear and prance about in that, and the game still only has a T rating. And more skin =/= sexual contet.

I chose Ranger because it was the obvious archery class, which I love to play. Both Warrior and Thief have limited range on their bows. I was fully aware that I’d have a pet, and accepted that. But I thought the pet would be more of a utility than what we have. Ah, well, I’ll make due with what I have, but I wouldn’t mind pets becomming optional. Honestly can’t imagine why anyone would…

Even swinging the cam a bit too close to the wall while you are as well will sometimes “suck it in”, and you have to move away from the wall to regain control…

I’m +, but why stop here? Why not fully customizable skillsets? Stats? I can use transmutation stones to make my character look exactly (with limitations of course) like I want! Why should my pets nice look have to drag with a bad skillset/stats? Why should the nice one be on skins that I don’t like? Transmutations stones are awesome, please bring some customization for pets…

On topic, I’ve stopped holding out. I’ve pretty much accepted that we are were we will be…I won’t believe anything the devs say untill I see it live!

Any boss that require you to be on your toes is good.

Kholer is a good entry boss. Got to watch out for the pull, but not as unforgiving. (Plus support character can negate it, making it faceroll)

Subject Alpha, while stacking on him does make a world of difference it’s still not as bad as others, and he can punish you if you don’t pay attention.

Giganticus Lupicus is the best boss. Can be really unforgiving. Has multiple phases, requires some amount of teamwork.

Example of bad bosses are high-HP sponges that pose no threat, like the bosses in Honor of the Waves or Twilight Arbor.

Arrogant? No. But it does feel a bit more serious, especially if it’s only one short sentence. Besides, chatting isn’t formal writing, it has to be fast. You type however works best for you.

Simply scale it? When you scale for character all axes are scaled equally. Just try to imagine the warping of scaling just one axis, especially on textures…
As been said, this would require a new system to be built. I’d rather see profession balanced first.

Clipping isn’t exactly news and the fact that it’s mix’n’match is irrelevant. Otherwise ok.

The “of the Mist”-skins are the skins that mesmer illusions use. I don’t recall any type of illusion wielding bows, so I wouldn’t count on it…
(not that it’d be too hard, they’re the basic blue models, pink transparent with particle effects)

Funny…I don’t recall needing a cloak. I don’t recall wanting to look like a knight. If you want to petition for (even though it’s against the code of conduct) it’s addition by all means. But word it properly. You don’t need cloaks, you want them. And it’s I, not we.

OP suggested that guild members with the right to recruit (Admin Lower Rank-permission if I recall correctly) gets access to a Guild Recruiter title in their hero panel. When you create a new guild you start off as guild leader with all rights. This basically means anyone that gets a mule guild gets the title.

I use Logitech G400, has 2 side buttons and using the software to rebind the 3 dpi buttons to numpad keys. Love it! makes things just a little easier. I’d highly recommend getting one with 2 extra buttons at least:)

That was one of the big features advertised. The look of your armor is no longer tied to the stats and level of your armor. You could always choose to keep that low level armor you really liked.

Why would you care what anyone else thinks of your armor? All that matter is how you like it. Too proud to wear “trash” loot?

I myself am using the starting rawhide pants, and a basic white sword (transmuted onto my lvl 80 exo gear), and I love my look. I don’t need a special type of those 2 items, the regular ones work just as well! (At level 80 that’s actually quite rare I’d think)

Oiled Cog is a sexual connotation? I think it might be easier to just list what doesn’t refer to sex…
You only get “in trouble” if you’re reported, I don’t know…sex isn’t the first thing I think of when I see that.

It isn’t exactly hard remembering the roundabout positions. 5 minutes to set them, 10 minutes to retune them.
