Dropping the importance of pets unless specced for it, basically making them optional.

Proper for you might not be proper for someone else. Just saying…Or should all legendaries have Berserker stats since that’s “the most proper” stats?

I’ll weigh in. I did this a good couple of months ago. Retired my Soldier armor and Rampager trinkets and went all Berserker. The only noticible drop in defense is where even Soldier would have a hard time keeping up. But the increase in damage…way up!

I always try to level my alts, and it always ends the same way. I’m shocked to find more than 2 people on my screen at once, but shock passes as they dissapear rather fast anyway…

I don’t know, but in my book well populated means being able to find more than 4 people anywhere on any map. And it’s not southsun, southsun is pulling people maybe from Orr, but mid level maps have always been rather quiet.

In no way do I believe Gandara is an empty server! But most aren’t in mid level areas…

The problem with search and rescue is search and rescue
Only way to get devs to fix it is to not slot it so they see how bad it is…though granted that’s worked out great for other stuff so far…

Yes! Started out this game knowing full well I’d have a pet and had no issue with it at the time. 7 or 8 months in I feel very different about it. But it won’t happen because:
a) ANet is too proud…
b) Beastmasters will staunchly defend it and strictly refuse to even consider the option

Dual bows with no pierce? Pierce would be pretty much essential…If you run a build with no points in marksman chances are you’re not using dual bows anyway…

The first one was a mistake. It was two of them mashed together and misaligned. If you don’t notice that on the two blades then you can definitely notice that on the two guards and two pummels that show. If they were going to make a blade look like the top picture, doing it the way it was would have been an awful and lazy way to go about it.

If it was a mistake in the first place then why did the skin look like the above picture when the game launched and for many months thereafter? It was changed briefly to what it is now after an update but was quickly changed back to the double hilt in a quick patch (which shows their true intentions for the skin). Fast forward to today and it has reverted back again to the single hilt.

In another game I played the practice arena kept toggling between 2 looks for no reason at all, my guess was and is that they have multiple concurrent version and mix ’em up occasionally…

But I agree, it does look correct now. And if the launch look is indeed the intended look, then yes that is amazingly lazy…

In any case I think the order may as well be completly random…like the production tabs…one time Inscriptions may be in top, then bottom, middle…It’s almost like a mini game to find it. Oh and you can’t start with tabs collapsed, so GG if you’re 400, need Inscriptions and they’re at the bottom…

Also, there are other problems than duration, such as loosing your heal and utilities. On Ranger I loose my pet…

But Norn’s been crying about transformations since release and devs don’t care…

I like the lower attack speed on lbow, it sets it apart from sbow. sbow fast skirmishing weapon, lbow slow sniper weapon. I use mainly lbow since I despise the machine-gun sbow, so I can’t speak much for sbow, but for lbow.

1. Needs to loose the silly range penalty, that has no place on the auto
2. Feels uninspired, long channel, pathetic damage and no secondary effects…
3. Nice for keeping a perma 10 stack of voulna up, it’s acceptable…but just barely

Though I am missing a killshot-esque skill…

WvW is war, and as you know all is fair in love and war!

Leave the game, join a new one. Rinse and repeat untill normal game is found…Or organize with other competitors and get a normal game going. These people were obviously resourceful enough to rig a game…

Not unless 1 of these 2 options are available
1. We’re given some free Transmutation Crystal as compensation for already transmuting our looks onto high end gear (that was supposed to be top tier…) [unlikely]
2. We’re given means to cheaply ascend our current exotics…by cheap I mean no 250 globs+250 t6 crap [more likely, and likely to be expensive]

I don’t see the need for this…you want it, go play another game that has it.

I’m so-so about this. It’d be nice giving vets something nice, and MF isn’t that strong as you say. 200% cap sounds a bit much though…

I use Renewal and Hunt. Never pop them. It’s not that the passives are overly good, it’s just that actives and other utilities are so poor I may as well just run this…

Full zerker gear works, ranged pets are just a tad safer, but to be honest they seem to like facetanking anyway.

I do that all the time in a zerk-archery build, if you know when to dodge it’s all good.

I’d suggest going to Heart of the Mists and check out the PvP Locker, from there you can preview (for armor I think) every armor in PvE, plus some that aren’t in PvE so beware. There are also multiple offline galleries, just google “gw2 armor gallery”.

I agree, I fought a ranger underwater 3v1 and the pet rezzed the ranger faster then we could dish out dmg.

Rangers are near impossible to kill underwater, the healing needs to be scaled back.

Could it be that achievements and potions are tracked by different attributes? Could really do with a red post clearing up all these questions once and for all!

Yes please! Or a mechanic that tries to place the second weapon in an adjecent slot (this is the only time it’s a real issue).

Do they? I recall a red post stating that all creatures in AC counted as ghosts for the sake of the potion. I can’t be asked to dig up the source, search function on forums isn’t that great. One would assume it worked the same way for all dungeons. Also there was a post stating that all dredge and charr in MF counts as molten, so no potion will work on them (dredge, flame legion). Maybe I missinterprited, maybe it was just bosses. I don’t know exactly how the system works, because I’m fairly sure you get kill variety from them and slayer achievement…

Can send 2 mails. 3rd one is blocked because of “excessive messaging”. Really?!

I’ve had maybe 2 or 3 drop from random mobs during my entire play (1400+ hours I think). Dropped one of them the other day, shame really, wasting so much luck on that :/
Ah well, the canister will be handy in fotm if I forget to repair my gear.

Even with full ascended (armor, weapons, back and jewelery) you have a maximum of 14 slots you can get 70 stats (provided you can slot in each). Precise is one of the cheaper to make (~12 g per) landing at 160+ gold for 70 stat points, as the cheapest!

Keep fighting Chopps! Show these heathens that spirits are superior to banners. Almost every ranger I know of run spirits. Warriors don’t use banners at all. They are useless and takes time to cast, time that could’ve been used for 100b!

Considering the cooldown, overall mechanics and the buggy state even before patch, it’s always been more or less useless…

Look for when it’s somewhat calm in the area and try to sneak in. You only have to “F” it! At least that’s what I did in my impatience. Stripped naked and suicide rushed to them.

Reward reporting? Implementing that system is walking down a razor’s edge…
