so correct my math if i’m wrong but that’s a 15% loss using ecto.. {which i pretty much stated earlier} and 780g for a lousy 7% {levels} of end plateau magic find… easily sustainable if you are running on 100g and you feel like putting the time in to replenish your 15g loss for 1% magic find each day? that’s a minimum of 80 days for the end levels of magic find alone

i can’t imagine any faster way!

Actually, ANet’s the one with the control over releasing content to GW2 – they’re the developers, and the ones making the game. NCSoft is the one that publishes the game, but not the content in the game.

furthermore, just some reasons to check back in on gw2 is new content next month and you can be a baby dolyak now

my reasoning is.. i could own an in game instrument, but not know how to play any songs on it.. the notes are real and musically inclined individuals who take the time can translate this to in game music.. this is something ArenaNet should be doing though..

so, the argument is.. Most players get bored with their non-routine content and it is less traveled.. On the contrary, this could be very enriched and profitable permanent content

Open a Music Shop in Tyria.. players could buy Song Recipes off the Trading Post and unlock it in game.. and learn it on something similar to the winter’s day music stage..

and ultimately.. it would be amazing, if we had players owning gem store instruments coordinating together to play songs in open world (without using google)

i made the moth looking combination a long time ago, the belt buckle is non-colorable.. they should have just made it pearl {gray} like the shoulder gem.. anyway, more akin to your problem.. on her dungeon armor mix, the norn shoudler pieces, you can’t die that fluffy trim.. luckily it goes with the earthen tones she uses, because i can tell you it doesN’t on other color combinations

i’m not a gw1 vet and i bought the deluxe edition/early start of this game
i’m a casual player but one who spends a lot of time on their main and i have had no trouble pursuing game items i’ve wanted, i’ve spent no real world money since launch, only time.. although i haven’t experienced anything in game that personally speaks to me as ‘phenomenal and i would recommend this game to others,’ tyria itself has potential and is interesting enough that i’m willing to send some paypal cash this month and hope season 2 turns out ok, brings in a healthy player base and keeps them this time

hmm, i’m not only a loner but a bit of a drifter too
i wonder if they will consolidate the hard work i’ve put into rebuilding my own personal guild on several different servers, ahah

interesting guide, i spent the good part of 2 months maximizing my magi find.. i definitely recommend a salvage-o-matic, it’s not the best salvage kit.. pretty sure the best bang for your buck is a mystic salvage kit? if you can afford to forge the stones for it.. i also steared clear of salvaging ectos for luck.. i think with ecto i had in my storage, i salvaged about 6g worth and had 5g returned to me and not nearly enough luck to make it worth the expense.. i only started with i think roughly 65g and 150% magic find.. in the early days i was spending about 80% of my gold and Losing maybe only about 10%, but when i reached the upper level {220mf- and onward} the process became a bit streamlined and i was making 3-6% magic find per day.. sometimes it would take an hour or two just salvaging.. anyway, magic find caps at 300% and i got there using some Achievement Rewards.. if you are on 300% and you have AP magic find added to your account, i’m not exactly sure if that counts toward bonus magi find which is attainable through boosts etc.. i will post an update pic tomorrow when i kill off that last 24k of luck >:\

ok, completed luck based magic find cap.. i had about 380g the other night and now, 405g.. that is not all salvaging profit, and i only did about 2% magic find in the past two days.. despite mats or even luck yield, i personally find it easier to focus on blues.. once you get a process going, the math will speak for itself and you don’t need to be rich to start ^^

i think the guildwars2 community deserves more super adventure box..
in fact, arena net should scrap the elder dragons and pool their resources to build SAB expansions

It’s no coincidence that pretty much every gold-making farm in the game has been nerfed.

I’ve gone from making 15g/h to nothing.

i realize they nerfed farming and it really grinds my gears that player gold income relies heavily on other players, but a competent casual can still make 4-7g per hour.. i never found gem to gold conversion very appealing, but if anything the tyrian economy is predictable

i saw someone made a screenshot of all the advertisements for gem buying with real world money.. i’m not sure where they got it so it is no bother to me, but if arena net wants to advertise and players feel like spending the money for gems then fine

moa racing was released with last dragon bash.. currently he only has chicks, but it would be great if they made a moa race similar to the dolyak calf race.. he can extract a new moa tonic from them and they can update the race course while lion’s arch is being rebuilt.. as for dragon bash, it would be a great opportunity to display social tensions in tyria as season 2 moves forward.. not to mention smashing pinatas and burning dragon effigies was the simplest and best thing they ever implemented in this game…

predictions: i will spend a few extra hours checking out new content the first week of july
expectations: western tengu, the druidic jungle tree of melandru vs a far more vicious nightmare court, some crap white mantle dungeon, and skritt pirates… you heard me

as a staff elem since early start i have never seen that glitch, lol
also, i only have high regards for a hand full of staff skins in this game
1} many of the staff heads are cartoonishly huge
2}some of the staff do not center well on the character so it looks obnoxious while holstered
3}i’d really like to see an invisible staff, possibly with a mists effect.. and you can call it mist

here’s my character in town clothes.. norn town clothes are great, it even looked good with the starter dyes.. pretty sure i didn’t have to change much around, if at all.. the only thing is, there was nothing from the elbows down.. very plain, and i like my character covered.. i bought the chef outfit because the gloves match wonderfully.. i can’t even show you a picture post wardrobe patch because, oh the horror.. i just bought the pirate outfit on a whim, because you can’t get light armor non-skirt pants.. unfortunately, it’s an armor-cover full-outfit.. what’s with the DECO GuildWars2, i stopped playing 9dragons awhile ago!?

the wardrobe system was great for account bound armor skins, but it murdered town clothes.. and the ability to mix and match.. this is just mind numbingly bothersome.. my hopeful assumption is that some poor sap at arena net is going to put in a few extra hours each week converting many of the tonics and full outfits into individual skins..

by the way, i’m not trying to down on arena net’s creativity.. if they want to make full outfit tonics, they should consider a dedicated ‘tonics’ inventory bag.. {although they never got around to making a dedicated mini bag, so it’s really pipe dreaming}

anyway, you seem to like the whole outfit opening poster, so gl with that

i personally don’t find the changes they made to it very interesting.. it’s possible they should have just left well enough alone

i don’t see how anyone could be against dragon piñatas
also, dragon effigies were set up Outside of lion’s arch.. why would residents of tyria roll over and admit defeat to destructive dragon antagonists because lion’s arch was devastated by a deranged sylvari?
furthermore, we are missing one huge lion statue aren’t we? wouldn’t it make sense to set up the grand piazza projector? i’m sure whoever was originally commissioned to deliver it would want their good name thought of during the rebuilding of lion’s arch.. at first glance it seems like asuran technology, but has similarities to the might and main projections over hoelbrak.. if i worked at arena net i would have an npc dialogue where someone was supposed to ‘reprogram’ a lion projection and accidentally put in a sea-lion! it would be adorable and humorous and then one of the captains-counselers could yell at them about it :3 anyway, they can have a dragon’s bash this year and just make it Less extravagant than last year.. it would be the perfect transitional living story installment the game needs

i almost forgot about the torch run, only because the balloon took longer to get..
maybe the moa racer in lion’s arch can use his moa chicks to concoct a tonic, and there can be a moa version of this dolyak race.. they can even change it every now and then as lion’s arch is being rebuilt

what does storage have to do with anything?
you have an account vault with collectibles bank and wardrobe
wardrobe is the only one now that you can activate these items without running to your vault.. soo, basically you’re saying if it was a panda or a tonic or a shirt.. you would have went with the shirt? it’d be nice to have a mini specific inventory, but the most they’ve done is prevent minis from jumping into collectibles storage when using the ‘deposit collectibles’

the only things that really get me down about this game is the poor balance, the fact that a lot of your farming is highly dependent on other players, and the storyline was pretty wishy washy for a long time..

though, this years living world seems to have had better implementation in that it has catered to a broader range of players.. four winds and pavilion were my two least favorite releases previously, but this time around it seems less shabby

or was this thread just a jab at there being no ‘end game’ or ‘expansion’

being able to craft a dirt cheap exotic backpiece of any kind or a relatively cheap ascended backpiece is worth having bladeshards around.. especially considering there is no worthwhile source of farming them in game anymore.. unlike everyone else i have a few stacks of heirlooms that will never be usable and not enough bladeshards to craft anything..
i really don’t get what everyone was expecting from a bladeshard merchant, but yes.. the shards for ‘green item’ is a bladeshard sink

i’m actually a pretty slow reader, yet reading is fun.. whether it’s open world or updated lime light content, i think too much of any one component would get tiresome.. you really need a healthy mix to keep the mmo fresh imho

but i found the continual use of the words happy/unhappy very amusing
this game has no balance, or depth in its pvE content.. so i find it highly interesting how stable arena net’s business model can keep its customers ‘happy’
i also find it amusing that when ever someone does sampling, like some bored teacher or something, someone has to evaluate the adequacy of it

and if you give them an ‘even out of combat’ weapon swap
the other professions will ask for an ‘out of combat’ weapon swap on top of their regular weapon swap, and they will be even more faceroll trolltastic

congratulations for being the minimum age requirement of this game

yes, it deserves some dialogue, or storyline, or Something other than that fight routine.. she isn’t any more powerful than a Destiny’s Edge character, example: Logan helping defeat Gaheron.. i was really disappointed in the first installment, “oh here the queen has gathered champions” ‘oh and there is no lore about them whatsoever’ makes perfect sense… it was a complete waste of game characters, i even have the mini and by no means is it my most prized one.. i just call it my mini mesmer.. i hope they nerf the matches this year and give everyone a krewe leader/gauntlet announcer mini..
