Celestial outside of PvP sucks. So the amulet probably is a bit too good, while Celestial armour and weapons are too weak.

This is not launch. The income Anet get from bag slot sales is probably less than 1% of their total income. Most people do not even buy them because they are so overpriced.

I am also worried about this, as GW2 is HORRIBLE when it comes to things like Sanctum Sprint, Dragonball, etc for Oceanic players. If the same mechanics are used in HoT, Oceanic players are screwed.

Also Ride the Lightning and Burning Retreat are hilariously crap for Oceanic players.

Because most people who play the game only saw the wings for the first time today.

There is no way you can farm silk more easily than you could farm mithril or elder wood. If you can, please, do share your miracle source.

In an average run I can get about 20 heirloom seed pouches which contain 0-3 scraps of silk. And around 25-30 bags of gear. Salvage all the cloth. I get about 80-100 scraps per run. Do it again and profit. Doing this I get more silk faster than I can doing say a platinum mining run or an elder wood logging run.

That is much slower than mining and logging.

In a strict Sense yes. But subjectively, its faster. Running from node to node can be tedious at best. Doing all the events, the breach, vinewrath and the Hidden depths Is a whole lot more fun than mining nodes.

35 Laurels is a huge difference and makes the 6 days that a light armor user needs more to craft his damask (which can be circumvented by buying it directly anyways) seem miniscule.

Sure, but you don’t get it … it’s already been questioned, it’s already been answered. Of course they can reverse something but we already know the process here isn’t “If we QQ enough, Anet changes it”. In fact, that’s rarely how Devs work.

QQ is actually not bad at all. Its annoying sure, but its pretty useful. QQ in an iterative system is essential.

Silk Scraps went from ~3.5s to ~1.75s between October 7th and January 29th, while the supply went from 250k to 1000k.

A temporary influx of silk is NOT a solution. The price will just steadily go back up; which is exactly what it is doing.

It appears that the number of players logged per day is an important statistic for ArenaNet.

I don’t see that celestial crafting affects anything but a tiny tiny tiny portion of the population, to the point where I would suggest more people are tempted to give up the game and leave for other games because of the amount of time required to get exotics (not even ascended). Which is restrictive, and demotivating rather than as a positive thing that encourages players to stick around.

And considering that Anet used charged quartz in more recipes since the introduction of celestial (grow lamp, charged ambrite) I dont think they will remove the time gate anytime soon.

Yet another restriction for exotic equipment, that prevents players from experimenting, and trying new things. (prevents players from getting sinister setups within reasonable times)

One reason why timegates are in game is to add value to the time-gated crafting material. If you charge your daily crystal, you can sell it atm for a profit of 40-100s, if you take away the time-gate, it will influence those profits.

Its basically a daily reward for people who log in every day.

I dont know why Anet should change their game in order to cater for an audience that stops playing because it has to log in frequently.

I actually like having emotes on, and many NPC scenes also use them. You are basically saying the equivalent of turn chat off because someone is spamming, which is ridiculous.

what items? Where? 1000 for all carapace skins, 1000 for all the pinks and 1200 for the pets I believe. That’s the most expensive items that I know of. And when I hit 1000 I tend to get the skin that I want so I only really need to dedicate 4 slots.

I meant 3000 is probably what the average person holds onto. Anyway, these should be in the currency tab, not taking up our ever-shrinking space.

I just noticed this today. Have not done the activity in forever, but today was daily activity so I gave it a try. With an Oceanic ping the number 3 auto-jumps to the beacon were failing about 90% of the time, from the point you are talking about onwards. It would overshoot each time it failed.

So yeah…the activity is completely unplayable now.

Also, NSW had to cheat to win Origin.

I sell silk scraps into the market place when it drops. Even playing casually, I can get a lot of money by selling a few scraps.

The Living Story achievements give some nice AP.

The report functions in-game are very poor. You cannot even report someone spamming emotes until you physically find the person.

The problem is not only the lack of space. It is also the fact that Anet are throwing tons of rubbish at us that does not go into any tabs, e.g Bandit Crests.

Oh and I seriously doubt Anet gets much income from selling space. When the game launched, sure. But now, no.
