I’ve been pugging the entire week doing no tree mossmans, fills instantly and pugs do it just fine.
I wish they’d focus manpower on adding new fracs or fixing boring instabilities rather than trying to fix yet another mossman exploit.

The enrage timer doesn’t say “fail at this time”. We enraged sabetha once and still could kill her in the following 30 seconds she was enraged.
I just redid SB cuz I did the same thing and it dropped for me the next day.
It might be a TP bug. I recall putting in like 10k buy orders for something with relatively low trade volume and they all got filled instantly, like the 250 I ordered would be filled immediately in my inbox. It’s been fixed for that item but I wouldn’t be surprised if others have similar bugs.
Timers only really affect the difficulty the first few runs as people try to understand mechanics. After the first few clears, there should no reason to hit the timer any more as it is mostly irrelevant as shown by the low man raid videos.
I stand by my point that timers are there to prevent laziness/avoidance of mechanics rather than increase difficulty. Sure there’s some difficulty increase (since you have to do the mechanics somewhat properly) but it’s not the main point of the timer and the difficulty increase is minimal in this wing as mechanics are far more punishing than the timer.
Also, I’d rather have a good and clear timer to know when stuff happens because of the lack of DPS meters

Timers are there so you can’t run 10 nomads hammer guardians and tank your way through every fight.
Your first set should be sword shield and second just offhand focus. That way you can pull ads when required and use shield during other times.

because, in that blog post about fixing older festivals, they kinda forgot this one.
When have they ever fixed anything in festival mini games? Every single one has serious bugs still and have been as broken as they have when they launched.
If you take enough damage that would usually make you go down and rebound is active then instead of going down you heal a bit. It says right there on the toolrip.

If u leave ranked up between seasons it’s still gonna be bad (or queue times will be super long) because most people just did league for backpiece/achievements and don’t bother pvping offseason
I also tried it in my down time. Got past tutorial on two characters and it was bad lol.

Not saying that you can’t complain about BnS but you can hardly form a fair opinion of the game if all you’ve done is get to level 4 and killed a few crabs.
BnS has tons of issues such as sharing loot in dungeons, chat spam, salvaging delays, TP restrictions and more but honestly the combat system and general gameplay was never an issue for me. I really like their channel / district system which lets me choose which map to be on (usually channel 1 = more people so great for bosses and channel 5 = least people = great for soloing).
Does no one remember the threads upon threads from AP hunters lamenting the fact it took them hours and hours to finish each and every Daily?
This was one of the reasons a cap was instituted. We no longer see those threads; it’s a shame Monthlies were removed and that faction of the playerbase was catered to (IMO).
The old dailies were cancer. There was AP for winning 5 solo q and 3 team q every day which took 3-7 hours due to queue times and they required WINS.
I dislike how monthlies were removed too but we (players with high AP) didn’t ask for them to merge them, they did it themselves. Most of the AP farmers actually capped dailies for a few months before ANet decided to merge monthly into the AP for dailies.
I don’t do mossman or frac dailies if you’re thinking I’m trying to justify safe spotting. I think the entire encounter is trash and needs to be changed and pretending it’s exciting to do DPS rotations is just masking the real issue w/ boring instabilities and boring fights.
Yeah i know i just don’t get why people feel the need to justify doing it legit as exciting lol.
I really don’t see mossman in his current state as challenging or interesting. If ‘doing good DPS rotations’ is so exciting to you then more power to you but for the life of me I can’t see it that way since even a monkey could do a good dps rotation since it’s just repeating key sequences.
If I want challenging content I’d go low man raids or something like I used to low man fractal 50s to sell.
I think what he wants is the ability to repeat the daily ap so that he can reach the 15k cap faster.
I don’t really care either way if they do it or not but I think it’s designed the current way to encourage people to login daily.
As someone with 31.3k+ AP I hope this cap stays. Dailies are pointless and not really much of an ‘achievement’ anyway. It feels great to not have to do dailies once you cap it out and can play other stuff.
The champions seem to drop champ bag so… I kinda foesee people will just farm champ bag at shatterer rather than help with the fight once they realize.
Also the break bar seems to be too scaled, it’s borderline impossible for pug maps because there’s way too many people doing whatever they want.
Well you can try balancing around all modes but then you get things like rev hammer 2 which is super strong in WvW, mediocre in PvE and somewhat average in PvP. That’s just one example.
With split balancing there would be so much more variation and balance would be a bit more easily attained because they can adjust something without considering every other game mode.
Don’t forget lose all boons on dodge, whoever thought of that .. yeah

Gem’s will never rise to 6g each because their value is set by supply and demand just like everything else in this game. At 3g it becomes profitable to convert crystals into orbs for 2 types of crystals. At 4g almost all types of crystals can be converted. At 5g you could profit from converting T3 and T4 into orbs. As such the price is limited to the infinitely farmable T5 crystals at ~3g.
That’s not really true. T5 crystal conversion isn’t actually limited by the crystals but by Incandescent (t5) dust prices. If the demand skyrocket and gems go to 6g, the dust will go up before the crystals do.

They bug fixed it so new ppl that hit Legend x 1 will get it whereas people who got legend before the bug fix needed legend (x+1) to get it.
For what it’s worth, as a legendary holder. I absolutely hate PvP now. I log on, do my 3 daily, then swap to a daily room if I didn’t get my profession wins.
The poor bunker meta we have atm, the fact ANet feeds soloquers to teams because of ‘espurts’, the fact there there’s little difference between a pro player and a pro farmer in this system.
I got on a treadmill and have no intention to do it again next season.

They should have made divisions based on skill/MMR and separated solo and team queues instead of this half baked pips system we have.

For your ideas presented, it is super easy to abuse with a premade. 5 man premade have 4 real players and 1 smurf account. If they win, they win pips. If they lose, they get the smurf to pull plug so other side never wins pips and they never lose pips. Took me like 2 mins to see how abusable your ideas would be gg.

If you ban afkers they will just move a bit and continue to afk or run to far and afk there instead by dying on point constantly.
As it stands right now I will never visit this map again once I finished the “Ex Machina” collection, because it does not feel worth my time (this is no fun to me: easy, boring, repetive and bad rewards) and will just skip any non achievement related rewards this map may offer. This also means I will skip on all the HoT legendaries and not build a single one of them (only building the precursor since the collections give AP).
This is exactly me. No reason to go back there, bad map design with bad loot lmao

BnS is pretty new and shiny to me with some great things such as new PvE content, semi decent combat system, customizable UI, solid class balances, pretty fun dungeons etc. I’ll probably play it on and off casually while retaining GW2 and wait fro ANet to add new content.
The biggest gripes to me in BnS are the 48h TP listing limits, spam bots, 50 block list maximum, slow item salvaging and the linearity of the open world.
There’s definitely stuff ANet can learn from them, especially the insane amount of dev communication those guys are giving compared to GW2.
But premades don’t have to wait for long queue times so it’s a good thing now dude. Everybody knows that premades make up the majority of PvP players and are the most important group to cater to /s /s /s /s /s /s

Team queue queue times are of no concern to solo q players though.
Right now the system favors team queues too heavily (5 man on TS vs solo q = rip) so as a solo q player I really don’t care if your queue times suck.
