F4 is the true clutch. It allows Mes to take a deep breath no matter what’s happening.
Staff is a lesser concern so long as you wait for the swap or force him out of it.
The Block can be directly countered with sig of might. Actually sword 2 is the more prominent factor. Of course neither can be activated if the mes is CC’d.
Like I said, I don’t think the fight is an easy roflstomp win, only that the tools are there to deal.
yea, except the fact that sig of might is useless, and mesmer sword 3 is also a stunbreak

main reason why any heal other then healing signet(when there’s no 1/4 cast heals introduced, only 1 second cast time heals) was incredible bad and nonviable even now, it’s because warrior’s cover to heal is really limited

Gun Flame was hitting for extremely high damage, more so than True Shot if I recall. And it’s a really good designed skill to boot.

But it’s all relative. Depending on your role, running without defense can be perfectly legit. It just means you have to play within certain styles, and avoid others.

personally im having a lot fun with mace/shield because double melee is fun and you can never get enough of that burst
but i’ll try this out, i suspect this has a more shoutbow kind of game play with less burst but more sustained gameplay?…

Replace defy pain with Defiance Stance Defense trait.
On the warrior forums. And i believe that’s all we need to become viable again. It will fix whatever sustain problem warriors are dealing with.
doesn’t matter, warrior may be played in ranked or unranked by normal players, but still don’t have plays in top tournament, even if warrior survive just as good as the rest, there’s no role to fit for warrior imo

I’ve had excellent success with the GS/ Axe+Shield core power warrior (found it through K Pop’s post on here.) We still don’t have nearly the team support/utility that other professions get, like Revenant, for example, but we do have top-tier pressure damage. In SoloQ this pressure is quite valuable. It is superb at team fighting so I would try to spend most of the match in those, personally. Rarely do I ever engage in 1v1’s without the intent of being a boon to my team’s map presence overall.Gonna have to disagree here. We are not Top tier burst damage in spvp. Sure we have burst damage, but in a fight it is unlikely we will survive long enough to make it effective. Necro’s in particular shut Warriors down
2 necros or two revs shut down a warrior. A singular version does not.
If a shiro/glint rev loses to a warrior who’s not running some condi BS or a gunflame trash build then there’s a problem. The necro shouldn’t be losing to either of those if he can pop into RS. If he has no life force, well he’s screwed.
tbh most revs have no idea what are burning wars, anyone have an idea will know that you can kill burning wars by simply using sword 2 or 3 at max range and kit..and go in with shiro burst and kit again

Rev is way too effective with marauder amulet, i can keep the point from getting decapped while 1v2 for a while for teamates to come as marauder amulet and still being a good ganker, good 1v1er, good group fighter..that’s too good

I forgot that bunker guards actually were, but they did DO anything but hold points. Now you’ve got these classes that can defend a point and wreck your face. Bunker guards were harmless. Same with Hambows, maybe the BUILD was meta, but it was never on par with what was floating around at the time and what we have currently. And lol @ the d/p thief meta comment.

every single teleport in this game needs to work like shadowstep with target circle instead of auto teleport on target and need to be gated with high CD, or should not go through LOS

Tf is up with retribution line being passive? Most traits are passive. What you want retribution to do? Please give me a list of non passive traits to retribution. Honestly some things i see in this thread are absurd really.
There are good passives and bad passives. We reduce some damage, yep, ok. Is it gamebreaking? No. Meanwhile we have reaper swings his scythe in air gaining might due to trait and my guess is thats an “active trait” in eyes of many.. cus reaper has to press 1 in air. So active, wow
doesnt matter, reaper, rev, scrapper are all going to be nerfed either that or low tier classes are going to be buffed big time, if anet wants some kind of balance in the game
