It was never allowed behaviour, as discussed in many other topics, and concluded by the developers themselves. All Michael said was gaining loot from pet kills was ok, not actually using them to farm via unattended play.
I hope weight restrictions aren’t lifted, because otherwise we’ll probably see more of this:
Aaand… what is the problem with that?
Heavy plated chest, small sandals, miniskirt showing legs. It wouldn’t make sense in the world, and most if not all the decisions ArenaNet make, they still (so far) make sense in the living world of Tyria.
Basically, if this were real life, people would be riding motorcycles with helmets on their heads, but wearing swimming trunks and flip-flops.
I hope weight restrictions aren’t lifted, because otherwise we’ll probably see more of this:
Ok, so we’ve established your guild isn’t a 100% Rep Guild. My question still stands – what’s stopping you from joining another guild specifically for Guild Missions if you can barely make time for Guild Missions with your current guild? There are plenty of large® guilds out there, and some with weekends designated as Guild Mission day.
Or – can’t you talk to your guildies to see if you can either change the day Guild Missions are done, or have more than one day? Not all my guildies can make our designated GM day (Wednesday) so to be flexible, I gave all guildies the permission to start their own guild missions whenever they want.
It still sounds like a guild issue to me, 100% rep or not.
It just means you need to read the scenario again, they understand the scenario but citing it isn’t good enough reasons to change the timing. For you, you don’t get the scenario, so, please re-read.
I was going from here:
you know you can do guild missions whenever right ?
Like whenever you want….
Try doing a guild challenge solo then?
You suggested you can’t do some missions solo, so why do you have to do them solo? This was the line of thinking I was going off.

You can be in up to five guilds. If your current guild can’t wait for the weekend and for you to join them on Guild Missions, why not try finding another guild? One of the larger ones, for example, where you’re more likely to land with weekend players?
OP has a rep req guild so doesn’t want their players to be able to to do that.
To me it sounds more like a guild issue than a Guild Wars 2 issue to me then.

By the looks of it, nobody knows.
Not sure if anyone else brought it up yet, but is it possible to get a reporting option so that we can report players who are deliberately taking actions in events that are considered malicious and counter-productive? IE one or a group of people finishing off one of the octovines in Auric Basin far too early in relation to the other 3, thus causing the event to basically fail as a result of the regeneration mechanic. This is just an example, but it’s a perfect example of some of the trash behavior certain players exhibit in the game.
It’s dangerous to decide the difference between purposely trolling, and someone just not reading map chat or being incompetent. If a report option of this kind were to make it’s way into the in-game report system, I imagine that the ticket system would have a 5 day wait instead of the usual 3. Perhaps more, due to the GMs having to investigate every single ‘griefing’ report they get.
It’s too dangerous to tie in-game stories to real-world events, especially when those real-world events involve politics.
We should have stories because they make sense in the world of Tyria, not because it mirrors real-life stuff.
If it’s been a month, they probably did reply, but check the review thread anyway, and also check your spam/junk folders of your email address.

Monday mornings (in the EU anyway) are not the perfect time to start a fresh week, no?
We need John Smith on the case here! He’ll be able to tell us if it’d work out or not.

Please A.net respond to me. Is anyone inside there? Im waiting 4 days ago, and no any answer. Im working 12hours per day, im be tired to, i just want to play with my game at my little free time, but i cant.
What happend with the CS.team?
I saw a lots of post from players who didnt get respond for more then weeks!
Its horrible.
Asking on the forums won’t do anything. As someone suggested before, if it’s been longer than 72 hours, post your ticket number on the 3+ Days sticky at:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/GW2-Tickets-for-Review-3-days-older-2
But don’t post multiple tickets or it’ll slow down the process and you’ll be put to the back of the queue again.
Good luck!
It’s far from impossible. I’ve just come away from a fight, from the Queensdale one, and there couldn’t have been more than eight or nine of us. We actually did the bounty with only five, but a couple of other people turned up as the legendary spawned.
I was surprised it was a Legendary, rather than a Champion though. But still, the returning of the Marionette music? Now that was awesome!
because they are designed around an entire guild contributing towards them
Out of 500 members there are maybe 10 people that contributes just a little bit. Everybody is greedy. Gw shouldnt ask this much for the upgrades really
So isn’t that a fault of whom you have in your guild and not Anet?
It is of course, only human nature for a small portion of a certain population to give more than the rest. I think probably out of most guilds, there’s a select few that give the more than the rest of the guild. Though, only 10 out of 500 is still a smaller proportion that what I would expect. I have 10 out of 70 that contribute the most in my guild. Mostly because I expect they have other guilds (up to 4 other guilds) that they need/wish to contribute to.
Perhaps those 490 other people have other guilds they have to prioritise on. Or perhaps that guild needs to get a firmer whip out. Either way, it’s still not ArenaNet’s fault.
Would it though? There are plenty of other things to occupy those slots.. salvage devices, repair canisters, teleport to friend, home stone, converters, unlimited harvesting tools, consumables, etc.
Exactly my thoughts – though I understand different players use the account-bound slots for different things – mine are used for the three permanent gathering tools, Royal Terrace pass, Mystic Salvage Kits and I use one to link my multiple [Gifts of Exploration] – just to show off from time to time!
Don’t forget as well, that the transfer costs gems, not necessarily money. Two months (which is minimum) is a long time to procure the cost in gold for the transfer fee. So it’s still hardly a subscription fee, considering you can still WvW without your guild.
I really hope support declines your request to put you on a FULL server.
Full is there for a reason. I think the only time I ever heard of someone being moved to a full server, was when their account was hacked and they were switched servers. That was support fixing something the player didn’t choose.
You chose not to play Gw2 for a while. Doesn’t matter why. During that time, your guild decided to switch servers. You didn’t switch and now it’s full.
You have a few options:
1) Sit and wait out it until it’s not full. (It might happen, who knows)
2) Keep switching to the linked server so you can play with current guild
3) Switch guildsAnet doesn’t owe you a free transfer nor do they have the ability to go and put you on a server that is full. You have to make a choice, and you have to accept it. At least with linking you have the ability to play with your guild. Before linking you would have been out of luck, since the server still would have been full AND you wouldn’t have had a baby server to switch to.
Aye, agree with this. We’re all bound by the same rules and procedures. Just because someone was away from the game doesn’t warrant them getting a free transfer.
We are looking at more meaningful and easy ways for players to report forums issues, but that’s a bit away. More on that at a later time.
Please don’t say you are considering using players as moderators.
Are the current moderators not players also? Though, if they were to expand their workforce with current players, I hope they are well well vetted.
Hi,
Since today’s patch (June 14, 2016) – The Almuten Masion in Gendarran Fields seem to be bright, in a bug which I assume is related to the lighting bug currently in various caves around Tyria.
I’ll attach a picture. It was quite shocking seeing it on the outside of a structure, as I was sure it was an indoor bug. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, along with the cave bug.
Thank you.
Edit: It appears other topics have been merged with this one, and includes more than just Almuten Mansion now, so I’ve changed the title slightly to compensate.

If you don’t see anything wrong with this explain why.
Because if the guild was changing servers without WvW having server-links, you would still have to pay to transfer anyway and probably won’t be able to due to it still being a full server. ArenaNet are not forcing you to pay for something every two months. Your guild is/has. They were the ones that moved whilst you were away. Not ArenaNet’s doing at all.
I understand you perfectly well (I did read your post in full…), but it’s not really ArenaNet’s fault that your guild moved to what is now a full server (and a winning one as I said since they’re T1). They said at the time of introducing server-linking that they will constantly review it.
If server-linking wasn’t a thing, you’d actually be more stuck, not less, since the guild still would have moved, but you wouldn’t have been able to play with them at all, much less within a linked server.
I do though hope, that the server they have moved to opens up for you though, so you only have to transfer once.
But to call it bias from ArenaNet towards you not playing every day is a bit far fetched. ArenaNet didn’t sit at a desk and say with Montgomery Burns’ voice “Look at JavaChips – she/he’s a WvWer but doesn’t play every day. Let’s force her/him to pay money every two months with this system and make her/his guild’s new server full..Excellent!”
ArenaNet are not punishing you with this system, they are trying to make a system that lets people in lower populated servers enjoy WvW as much as higher populated ones.
In order to stay with my guild when not on their home server I have to possibly pay every two months in order to continue playing with them. This is an unfair bias, and bordering punishment for not playing the game every day when a guild moves servers.
Not sure what you mean by this either, but I’ll take a guess the WvW guild you’re in likes to switch servers.
If the whole guild is constantly changing servers (to bandwagon onto winning servers as is normally the case), then the issue is with the guild, not ArenaNet. If you don’t want to keep paying to stay with that guild, then they are obviously not the guild for you. Find a different WvW guild that will likely remain in one server, pay once for the transfer, and remain.
The bias is with the guild, not with ArenaNet by the looks of it.
We’re getting more and more topics like this now. I can’t understand why ArenaNet can’t turn certain keys into a map currency so they go straight to the wallet.
Lack of solo-ability.
I find both Confusion and Torment the most fun conditions to use on a PvE enemy, for some reason. Especially Torment.
I think they work well just as they are myself, sorry.
Both teams start with the same opportunities to win, so to say it’s the map’s fault you keep losing is rather childish if you ask me. This sounds like another tantrum post, among the many you have made.
Why did you need three separate topics for the same issue?
Yeah, it’s dying. Just take a look at all the people on the forums that have left the game but stay on the forums to keep reminding us that they left and that it’s dying.
(Sarcasm of course, GW2 is still alive and well!
)
I’m happy with everything the current Character Creation has, except two things:
1) Bald female.
2) Human tattoos.
I’ll give you the same tip as I give every other player when picking any class:
Level up naturally. Don’t use tomes to get to instant 80 and you’ll learn for yourself how you will best play the ranger. I recommend PvE map completion so you can try different skills and weapons with different enemies, starting with Starter Zones even if you get to higher levels.
I’m on Mac too, but I’m not having these problems. The first problem sounds like it could be a mouse problem. Are you using Scrolling Gestures at all? Try turning that off and see if there’s an improvement if you are.
Couldn’t say what second one might be though, sorry.
In Character
For Roleplay.
They’ve only just lifted caps on condition damage to make them more viable alongside Damage builds, especially against World Bosses, so to U-Turn on that decision wouldn’t be very good. Though I do think some changes for the sake of WvW are probably needed.
1) You can craft a legendary for any character, since they are account bound rather than soul bound when equipped. Also, you can change the stats anytime you want, so you don’t have to worry about the build of each character.
2) Yep, if you want twin Quip for example, you can transmute any other pistol to Quip instead of making two Quips.
It could be a good idea, but for me personally, I don’t think too much of each illusion’s health as the illusion will die or get shattered too quickly for me to look at the health and be able to do something about it. My illusions are mostly up for a short period to shatter on my enemies for conditions. I don’t know how others play mesmers though.
How would Anet make sure nothing obscene gets created? And I assume you mean sell on the Gem Store rather than the TP?
I assume because OP meant they are put on the Gem Store after they are judged and won.
What I don’t understand is, why have to have an App for it? Why not cut the cost of it by not creating an App and just let people draw designs instead and enter them in the competition?
I don’t think they need to make a new feature of key-chains or key rings, even though it’d be handy to have. I think it’d be far easier for ArenaNet to make them into ‘currencies’ so they can be stored in the wallet like other things.
The Axemaster is after it’s Axe Mastery achievement.
Unfortunately there is no way to reset them, though once your character is level 80, you’ll have enough Hero Points to unlock everything other than Elite Specialisations, regardless of how much Map Completion that character has done.
Also, welcome back to Guild Wars 2
I prefer New LA. Many have said it’s like a ‘sea world’ or something, but it is a Nautical city so it should have some nautical theme. And they’ve given the city that, whilst making the city also modern, as the buildings are new, no point using old looking materials when it makes sense in-lore to be new. More modern art sculptures are used too.
And no, I don’t think it should change its name. (Because that’s usually the next question!)
I can’t tell what kind of ‘rework’ you’re asking for. Are you talking about a Healing Power buff or nerf?
Players are like siblings. If you give to one, the others will want as well.
Thats what im saying, it costs more to make them, if they can make it so that we can buy it with spirit shards as i have thousands that i wont really use lol
Exactly my point – they won’t make it easier or cheaper to obtain through purchases than it is to craft, otherwise nobody would craft them, and if nobody would craft them, there would be a knock-on effect across a range of other stuff on the Trading Post (specifically, T6 mats might end up going higher due to them not coming from the Mystic Forge).
I agree that Spirit Shards need more things to be able to purchase with as I too, have way too many. But for Mystic Clovers that are meant to be expensive and not straight forward to obtain, sorry but not in my opinion.
Lion’s Arch isn’t anybody’s home city, technically (can be if you RP though) – so as Justine says, park your character in a different city. You can access WvW from anywhere you want, so long as you’re not in combat.
But it costs more than 1 gold to make one in the current way (and way more if you average the times you don’t get a clover), so I doubt it’ll happen due to Mystic Clovers being designed to be a fairly exclusive item.
With Ali passing, perhaps they will consider re-introducing it as kind of a tribute to his boxing legacy. I would if I ran the store, but I do not, so I guess we will see.
Or some people might call it ArenaNet cashing in on his death, so ArenaNet might avoid it for a while.
