I just looked at it and didn’t see any problems with the cannons/arrow carts. Do you have “Fast-cast ground targeting” enabled? If you do, it will try to fire the siege weapon at your mouse cursor.

For any difficulty issue (or bug, or any comment on a particular story step) please provide the name of the quest, your current objective, your class, and level. There are hundreds of different story steps, so I need specifics to know which one to look at. (Just remembering an NPC or moment in the step doesn’t help, either, since many appear in multiple branches.)

We haven’t found a way to get this to happen reliably, so it’s been very difficult to track down. We keep making minor improvements to try and fix the issue, but rest assured we’ll keep working on it until the problem appears to be fixed for good.
Despite the disclaimer, yes, Teamspeak and Ventrillo ARE allowed although there have been some compatibility issues with overlays and the Guild Wars 2 game client.
Depending on your system because this does vary, overclocking can certainly give your system a speed boost if done right. However, this isn’t really something that we can advise especially since there have been quite a few issues with the client for players with overclocked systems in which the only resolution (for now) is to set their system to stock settings. If this is something that you’re considering I would highly recommend researching the subject and keeping in mind the potential risks to your system.
Can I be in the guild?

Guild Wars 2 is a living world and has a living economy. Creating guild and group to live in that world and join in the economy is not against the rules, even if developing cartel behaviour. I think this will meet with limited success due to the nature of the Trading Post and the economy.
When I asked if I could join, it was sardonic, offhand comment said out of professional interest in how players work together and life inside the game, and especially work and live inside the economy, not with an intention to participate in oligopolistic behavior.

I would like to take a look at your setup and connection to get an idea for why you might be experiencing this error and so I’d like to collect a Network Diagnostic report from you. To do so, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Right-click on “GW2.exe – Shortcut” and select “Rename.”
4. Rename this file to “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic.”
5. Right-click on “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” and select “Properties.”
6. Locate the “Target” line and add the following to the end “-diag”
Your target line should look like this: C:\Gamse\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -diag
7. Click “Ok” to save your changes.
8. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” to start the test.
Once completed, please click “View Results” and save the results to a text file on your desktop. Once saved, please attach that to the thread for review.

- Heartseeker: Reduced damage of the 100%-50% threshold by 20%. Damage thresholds changed. Old: 100%-66%, 66%-33%, 33%-0%. New: 100%-50%, 50%-25%, 25%-0%.
Engineer
- Disabled the “stowing” auto-attack to prevent players from getting stuck holding these kits: Bomb Kit, Elixir Gun, Flamethrower, Grenade Kit, Med Kit, and Tool Kit.

Can you be a bit more specific? Simply nerfing both of them doesn’t seem like the right answer.
I’d rather not get into specifics, since I don’t want to reveal everything behind the curtain. : ) But I reduced Mazdak’s health, reduced the health regen on the abomination, and removed a couple of the extra spawns.
I have some good news. We found a common problem across a lot of the guilds, and we wrote a tool which will loop over them and fix them up.
We tested it on a couple of guilds first and PM’d the people who contacted me about them.
This fix will help people whose guilds have totally disappeared – and we think that it won’t help everyone who is in this situation. But based on our reports, it should help most people in this situation.
The tool will take about an hour to run over all of the guilds (there’s a LOT of guilds :-).
Please let me know whether your guild re-appears after an hour or two. And accept my apologies in advance if yours isn’t one of the majority which we expect this to fix.

PS This won’t fix other guild-related problems, just ones which have disappeared. We’ll fix the other problems too, I just wanted to focus on the most serious problem first.

Thank you for the response, Gaile. For clarification: are you saying that these are cases related to account compromise, and that the AoE auto-attack is not an exploit deserving of a ban, even if someone afk’s in a dynamic-event-prone area?
Nope, I would not say that. I’m making a statement about the general practices of account hackers. AFK gaming isn’t gaming, in my opinion, so I’d never do it and I would hope that people would not expect to get by with it. But that’s personal opinion — I’m not speaking beyond that.

I really do not understand why he has to deal with this. He is up there in age and he doesn’t need the stress with his health conditions. I told him I would handle it because of that fact. If i can provide all the information, why can’t I get his account back for him especially since i paid for it?
