You are completely wrong on this. Support works around the clock, every day of the year, including Christmas. Please don’t make statements like this — they do not contribute, they are wrong, and they insult to those who are working hard to help people.
Clearly this doesn’t apply to level-capped players, but have you considered targeting content at a higher level than your character? I prefer difficult content, so personally I tend to look for content that’s 2 levels higher than my own.

We are working on two things in relation to this situation: The ability to remove cards and increased protection against unauthorized purchases with saved cards. This is a very high priority, and the team will roll this out as soon as possible.
I am playing a sylvari Necromancer minion master with a Staff. I get to the story mission where I have to fight the Lich while the centaurs fight the undead. I don’t know who designed this but clearly they thought that only Gaurdians or Warriors were going to do this quest. It forces you to use a sword that doesn’t even have good attacks or powers. As a Necromancer who uses his minions to take the brunt of the damage this means that I am now completely out of my element. I have tried all the different options of utility spells but since they are all minion spells and I’m being gang banged by six different undead brutes plus the lich without my staff to support the minions that means I am kitten. I tried using other unlocks I have but nothing works and now all my armor is broken and I have to restart it. I can’t get past this quest as it currently is, this ladies and gentlemen is a badly designed quest.

Can you please give some more specifics as to which step this is or the level? What Order did you select? Off the top of my head, I think you may be fighting Mazdak, does that sound correct?

I strongly encourage you to report any offensive or abusive chat in the game. Customer Support will investigate and take action on people who do not abide by the Rules of Conduct.
The old launcher was always intended to be a placeholder for such time that we could get a full-featured launcher on which the team could include news and information. There are no plans to go back to the old launcher.

Sorry, no. That’s why we have a rather elaborate deletion process for characters: to remind someone to remove the items from the char before concluding the deletion. I’m sorry that you lost the item — I’ve done the same thing myself.
A fix for part b) is in the works. This should also help mitigate the issues of part c) since you won’t have to mash F2 so much, though I am also aware of this issue.
Part a) varies depending on each pet, so perhaps a list of the ones that are particularly troublesome could help to get them looked at =)

I have just received mail from GM Kaine about my account incident #120908-002631. He/She said that i used unauthorized third-party application and the account will no longer be accessible and will not be reactivated. I’m so sad and really want to cry out loud.
I’m only use Team Speak 3 to communicate with my friends. Is this count as a ‘’unauthorized third-party application’’ ? In the mail He/She did not name the “unauthorized third-party application” they accused me. Is this a one-side argument ? They say i’m guilty because i do something which i’m not even do violate their rule and boom ban never lift
What do i do now ? I don’t want give up everything easily like this. My friends, my guildmate are waiting me come back and i spent a lot of time to reach current stage. Please somebody give me advice how to deal this case
In nearly all cases, the third-party program is a bot program, and the cases of this determination being made in error are very slim. If your account was not hacked, and if you were indeed blocked for this reason, then I’m sorry, but it’s unlikely that an error was made.
TeamSpeak will not prompt this block. Bots, hacks, cheats, exploits, or any advantage-giving program can prompt the block. If you truly did not use any such program, go ahead and refresh your ticket to appeal the decision. But please, there are a lot of people waiting for help, so if you did use a program such as I described, don’t appeal because it will be a waste of time.

I appreciate being unlocked but I still have a character that is not back and restored. It was deleted by I assume the hacker and has yet to be restored. Character name Manara Serous Asura Elementalist level 25.
Is my ticket still open? Should I create a new one? can my character even be restored???

First, we do not have and will not be able to offer a service that restores a single character or a specific item. In the future we will be able to offer a service that will restore the entire account to a period close to the compromise incident.
Account Restorations are not available yet but should be available pretty soon. Do keep in mind that the entire account is “rolled-back” so any progress made while you wait or until the service is complete will be lost. I like people to know this so they realize the way the system works.
Please report all suspected bots in-game so they can be investigated. Thanks!
So you guys fixed me being banned for no reason but immediatly after that I was still unable to login because it showed a new error message saying “We Have detected that your account may have been accessed by unauthorized individual. For you security, further access to the account has been suspended until this matter can be resolved. To restore access to this account, please contact our Support and one of our representative will assist you”
I’ve been trying to contact you guys for awhile just to get my account reactivated. I log on each night after work to check if I can finally play just to see other people who posted there issues get fixed within 24 hours.
Because I was unsure if the tickets should be joined since the first one was resolved but turned into something else I made two tickets

Hey guys, I’m sorry that you’ve run into some issues with getting stuck in the terrain in various places. You’re not alone!
If you could post a screenshot of your minimap (zoomed in) with the sector name (the name that appears at the top of the mini-map when hovering your mouse over it) where you encountered the terrain bug, it would be much appreciated and help us hunt down the issue.
I understand that it may be difficult to get the issue to happen again, so the sector name at the least should give us some insight as to which hills need fixing up!

Thanks for the update all, we continue to look into this.
There was a Suggestions sub-forum throughout the Beta Weekend Events. Unfortunately, players were not following the guidance given by the stickies we put up, which gave directions on how to post suggestions in the Suggestions sub-forum. As such, the information posted in Suggestions sub-forum was difficult to parse and a challenge to sift through.
We’re working on a more manageable solution than forums.
Hi DarkusVampyrus – What sort of connection method are you using to connect to the Internet? Generally players will receive this error message if they’re trying to connect through an unsupported connection method such as through a Hotspot, USB, Satellite, or tethering to a mobile device. The minimum requirements state that players will need a Broadband Internet connection in order to play Guild Wars 2.
If you have a Broadband Internet connection and are not using any of the unsupported connection methods then I’d like to collect a Game Advisor report from you. There should be a link to download the application to create the diagnostic report in one of the above posts in this thread.

I can’t say for certain… I do know that quite a few players have experienced all sorts of crash issues with that particular card and I personally would not recommend it although I cannot recommend what you should get specifically.
I can only say that before upgrading to a more powerful card that you will want to also look into upgrading your processor, motherboard, and memory otherwise you will create a bottleneck for the rest of your system. In addition, you will need to upgrade to a 64-bit operating system and may even need to look into a higher wattage power supply to handle all the new hardware.
Unfortunately simply updating your graphics card will not give you better performance in the long run since other components will need to be upgraded as well for balance.
Ahhh yes the good old days of the @plaync well I tried to link my account to my GW1 account and I blew up my account.
Steps to replicate:
1.Login using GW2 registered credentials.
2.Link Accounts
3.Enter in xxxxx@plaync // password
4.BoomThe good news is, once I logged out it reverted back and everything seems OK.
Then again my GW1 account is not linked so it is still broken.Put in some code to handle the ampersand will ya?

Hey guys – Error code 42 can mean a couple of things – it can mean there is an issue with the ports, an issue with your router, security software, or simply that the servers are down. This has even been found to be an account based issue in certain situations.
Unfortunately this will vary from player to player depending on when exactly this error message is being experienced and I apologize for any frustration that may have been caused by this issue.
Part of our job in Technical Support is getting to the bottom of why you are experiencing an issue and looking to resolve it and so this will involve some troubleshooting.
That being said, I would also recommend perhaps flushing your DNS and doing a Winsock reset if this has not been tried already.

Hey guys! I am so sorry you have had some difficulty finding the entrance to the mine and in the process of trying to find it ran into some bugs. I’ve relayed your concerns about the entrance along to the appropriate team.
