There are zergs on the lower servers but they mostly stick to EB. You will find equal to greater numbers of people doing small group roaming and they only come together when a keep is being attacked. At least that is what you see on AR.

My opinion that most of the good players transferred is based on the fact that I play on both FA and DR. But please do state why you feel the other way and what experience of the higher tiers you have.

I mean, it’s not like you go to the WvW subforums and NOT expect to see trashtalking, trolling and general kittentery. 50% of the people who use this subforum do it themselves and 50% like to read it.

Why not put a “NOT MODERATED” notification before you enter this subforum, if that’s what you want to (not) do?

Usually I go to the Eternal Battlegrounds when I play because it has the highest amount of bad players in it. But I have found that when fighting ET and GoM, it doesn’t really matter.

My preliminary investigations into recent forum activities would indicate a high level of arghhh from both Borlis Pass and Stormbluff Isle. At the same time, they keep saying that leagues never mattered.

Nice, but it would be better if they removed the lowest set of stairs to 1) make the area bigger and 2) create a physical boundary between the spectator section and the arena section.

Bllade, there is only one problem that I can see with your proposal. Since the spots per server are fixed let us surmise that players A,B, and C are elite players. They want player D to join who is also an elite player but the spots are taken up by a new player who is still learning what WvWvW is all about. That new player is going to be pressured into giving up his spot so the elites can all be together.

A very simple overview but I can guarantee that is what will happen.

I know whats legit, I do throw ACs near gate sometimes to clear sieges inside ^^ and I even counter asked our commanders cause I doubted my feelings/eyes and they commented its hack as well..

Trust me, it was a zoom hack. Saw the circle in the middle of lords room + around the corridor area infront of both supply depot (right) and the left side nearer to north entrance. My eyes went O.O… Think there wasnt even ACs build at North Entrance but they were shooting in.. =X not to mention some circles was infront of the gate at the our side.. (maybe visual graphic)

Even my AC got hit a few times but apparently it stops? maybe HE/SHE doesnt want it to be too obvious to everyone.. but ya.. I’m really disappointed in gamers using hack.. it spoils the game.. nothing against your server, just that fellow (same goes our people in CD, those hax…).

If you want to maximize your potential, stacking guardians is never wrong. Roaming in WvW is about sustainability, and guardians provide the best party-wide sustainability atm. If you are looking at pure 5v5 teams, stacking guardians and warriors is the way to do it in this meta.

I never really understood the appeal in playing something you dislike simply because it has the most potential though, so if you like mesmer better then I would suggest playing it. Try a shatter build with Prismatic Understanding. They are quite easy to play and have a high pay-off as well.

Can’t even play this game anymore because everywhere I run some sad little SF zergling is sitting on cannons. I have seen this behavior from three servers, BP, IoJ and now SF. I never really understood the appeal…

Lol. No server belongs in silver league. Servers didn’t even belong in a tier of three servers, so why would the belong in a league of 9?

Every time I go into WvW I see three things;

1. People crying in map chat about how we are outnumbered.
2. Karma trains so big that nothing can engage in PvP with them.
3. “Roamers” playing the most cheesy builds they can find because apparently an empty victory isn’t empty to these people.

Seriously; what happened to playing this game for fun? It seems like WvW has turned into a glorified champion train, where if you can’t get the end reward there is no point in playing, and if you can there is no point in actually engaging in PvP in order to obtain them…

Assumed what to be true? It’s designed to counter queues. Queues only ever exist in T1 outside of weekends (T2 also). I don’t expect someone from tier 1 to know, but you have to realize there are times when low tiered servers have a total of 5-10 people in all of WvW. Adding another map on top of the 4 that already exist would kill game play even more in these tiers.

The best thing they could do for lower tiers is to close down BL’s and EB during the ~6 hours that is not prime time, and let everyone play in this map instead. Ether that or close down BL’s and let everyone play in EB (something they should have done ages ago).

Just wanted to pop in and say you are doing amazing work, Kristen. Your passion really shows, in both your posts and the live stream. You are by far my favorite GW2 developer!

I admire the initiative Chris. I can see this working out for areas such as the living story, cash shop etc.

However, this thread would be an incredible waste of space on the WvW forums. You are going to see the same topics that were brought up 14 months ago. And if the developer’s have done nothing about them in the past 14 months, just face it, the “vocal minority” on the WvW forums want different things from WvW than the development team. It’s completely evident by now. I compiled a list here with all the different topics that will be brought up (and have been brought up since BWE’s). I have no doubt in my mind that the developer responses or input will change at all just because there’s a fancy new thread.

Population & coverage imbalance
Development team has stated multiple times that they want population and coverage to determine winner.

Alt friendliness
Development team has stated multiple times that they want individual character progression.

Reward imbalance WvW / PvE, precursors, ascended gear
Development team has stated multiple times that WvW is just a side event in GW2 that should be complemented with PvE, if you want to obtain good items etc.

Anti zerg
The zerg is composed of the largest amounts of WvW players. Why would Arena Net do something to hurt their largest player clique within WvW? Will never happen.

Power creep
Has been described as “cool” and “minor” by the development team. Grinding keeps players playing & paying. Will never be changed.

Commander system
“Takes time”. Has been “taking time” since the first BWE. Will probably never happen.

WvW class balance
Will never take precedence over sPvP balance, and the developers have on multiple occasions stated an unwillingness to separate balance in the two game modes. Will never happen.

New maps
“Takes time”. Has been “taking time” since the first BWE. Will probably never happen.

Arrow cart hacks / griefers / siege spammers
Play the way you want™

Leagues
“If you don’t want to at least try your skill against higher tier servers I don’t know what to say”

GvG…
… is not WvW. Also a case of “it takes time”.

Skill lag / performance issues etc
They will keep optimizing but skill lag will most likely be an ever-present thing in GW2, as stated multiple times already.

Defending vs attacking
Developers think it’s more exciting when stuff flip frequently, and almost every design decision they have made so far is in support of this mentality.

Long term rewards, achievements etc
“Takes time”. Has been “taking time” since BWE’s. Minor improvements with latest patch but in reality just copy-pasted dailies with higher requirements.

Bloodlust
Has been made abundantly clear that it’s staying.

PoV would be fine if they removed stupid stuff like the short bleed on Necro / Engi autoattack. Covering conditions should be something you have to work for, not something that is granted to you automatically. Removing two conditions was nice because you could get through that one little bleed stack and remove something that was really important. Now you can’t.

Hello I have played this game for almost 4,000 hours across my accounts.

Every day I tell myself that I hate this game. It’s kind of a love-hate relationship I guess.

It’s like seeing a kid with 150 IQ shooting up heroin. So much lost potential, but you still hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel, because if the kid got his kitten straightened up the entire world would lie before him.

Your first 100 hours of playtime will probably be magnificent, just like it was for the rest of us. Savor it while you can! (100 hours is rare for games nowadays, anyway)

It’s going to be interesting seeing what effect all the non-WvW players who want the meta achievement have on these match ups. Bronze league will by far be the most competitive league of all. I suspect we won’t be able to tell the winner until 2-3 weeks into the match ups (although there are some contenders and some non-contenders), whereas the other leagues are pretty much decided already. I also think there won’t be as many blowouts in bronze league.

GL to everyone I guess.

JQ will win Gold League, SBI will win Silver League.

Instead, the only competitive league will be Bronze. I don’t see any huge blowouts occuring there, and the victor isn’t even crowned yet!

It appears the challenge of interpreting my messages and forming a coherent response to them is too much for you. Because of this, I have prepared a simple and easy-to-follow recount of the events.

• I kill Necro (alone)
• I drop siege on Necro
• Skip forward in time
• Necro, on multiple occasions, dives zergs alone in attempts to kill me

And just to reiterare: The case was closed as soon as my blades severed her twisted spine.

Amidst your baseless assumptions and glaring contradictions (she’s not a zergling, but is present in a zerg fight?), there is but a sliver of truth, harvested from what I have already told you and then rehashed to fit your own purposes. You come across as incredibly unserious, and your case presented is frivolous given the fact that I too am the acting judge and executioner.

For what it’s worth:
