That’s a lot of tokens. O_O
I think your build’s biggest weakness is conditions.
Relying on Signet of Resolve, Contemplation of Purity and Save Yourselves is a bit tricky since you don’t have any thing that reduces the cooldown of those skills. I would replace Strength in Numbers with Purity to help with the conditions since 70 Toughness is nothing with toughness you’ll already get with your gear set up.
I would also replace Writ of Exaltation with Superior Aria, 48s CD of Save Yourselves will help you a lot if you have the additonal buff duration and the symbol isn’t really larger then what you’d expect, your party members should still be at melee range for you to get the entire benefit.
Replace Writ of Persistence with Writ of the Merciful, the additional 70-350 heal (350 if all party members are inside) is too low compared to the additional 300 heal (100/pulse) and you’ll also heal your party members inside the symbol.
Just throwing ideas.
Siege.
3 objects to destroy. 1 team defends, 1 team attacks. Objects can only be attacked/damaged by a bundle that a player from the attacking team has to carry. Attackers have a limited number of bundles available to them. Objects can’t be healed. Defenders win when the Attackers run out of bundles or time expires. Attackers win when the 3 objects are destroyed.
1. The Juggernaut
2. Gift of Mastery and Gift of Might
3. I have everything ready for Gift of the Juggernaut except the Silver Doubloons (friend of a friend borrowed mine). Still need a lot of T6 mats for Gift of Magic, probably 150+ Ectoplasm, and The Colossus.
Blast from a Big ’Ol Bomb kills it, used to just knock it back. :/
Actually I’d rather they replace the look of the backpiece the Engineers are using when using kits. An example would be with the Quaggan backpack. Instead of replacing it when you use kits why not make it like this..
Toolkit – make the quaggan hold a wrench and cog shield
Flamethrower – make the quaggan hold/hug the gas for the flamethrower
Bomb – make the quaggan hug a bomb
Grenades – make the quaggan hold grenades on both hands
Elixir Gun – make the quaggan hold a flask/injection…something
Medkit – make the quaggan hold a first aid kit or wear a nurse’s hat
I think this will also encourage players to try out the Engineer.
^ or HP doesn’t change and it just dies in a few hits because high level mobs hit harder.
Buy it or craft it, it just depends if you will be satisfied with your decision or not in the long run.
I don’t think they’ll upgrade the tier of the Triforge pendant just because of how much it is worth. That would be the same as asking to make the Mjolnir a legendary.
The mouse is not yet fully supported by GW2 or the built-in memory is clashing with the game itself. There’s a work around it, however. Map your desired buttons on the mouse and save it on memory, then uninstall the mouse software. That should make it work.
Hope it helps.
Some of my guildies said the same thing. Just to know for sure.
So I did the 2nd Tixx event and didn’t get the achievement for it. Just noticed now.
Any chance I can run the Divinity’s Reach event again?
I’ve been bugged before in paths 1 and 2, but we got it to work by letting the NPC die and ressing him/her. I would suggest to avoid skipping mobs because that may be the reason its bugging.
Most players would probably say Torch. I’d say use a Shield as an off-hand for the added protection and control.
No new recipe that I know of. The increase in price maybe due to the fact that more people are buying it to make their Gifts of Metal or whatever gift Mithril is required.
You should immediately receive it in your mail.
Try the following and see if you an receive it.
1. Your mailbox may be full, empty it.
2. It may have been delayed, wait at least an hour before…
3. File ticket to customer support.
Just to answer your questions. Yes, they did increase in price by a lot. They can be farmed, as I remember reading in the forums somewhere that a bag can drop a Silver Doubloon. They are possible to get from JP/Hidden chests and bags that drop from some mobs.
Now what is wrong with these items? None, they’re just incredibly rare and the recent demand, the giveaway of precursors on the Lost Shores event, just added to the price. The Silver Doubloon is just similar to the lodestones required for other legendaries, the only difference is that it only has 1 item it can be used on, which is The Juggernaut.
Supply and demand.
I don’t know very much about the lore of the Black Lion Trading Company, but I don’t think they’re really concerned about rebuilding the Lion Statue or the Lighthouse in Lion’s Arch. They can be just a private company taking all those taxes from the Trading Post to fund a secret government that’s planning to take over Tyria. Hell, they can even be working for Zhaitan, cloning all those Risen Chickens running around in Orr.
Check Ebonhawke cultural weapons.
Shout range. Seriously. Do I really need to go near to someone so that he/she can hear/get the ‘shout’. It’s a shout!
I suggest you proceed to just farming karma for your Obsidian Shards. On average you can probably afford 1 Obsidian Shard every 30 minutes of farming karma. For Fractals, an average run can probably take an hour before you can afford get 1.
As far as I know, Sorrow’s Embrace Path 1 is bugged and infinitely spawns the mobs. I suggest you just stick with paths 2 and 3 for now.
Check the dungeon vendors in Lion’s Arch. They’re available in Ascalonian Catacombs, Twilight Arbor and Honor of the Waves dungeons.
Want to know this as well. I have a lot of commendations and would like to use them up before they become useless. Need official response Anet.
I think what they said was there was a mistake on the drop rate and they returned it to normal.
They’re actually the best combination of stats for any profession, imo. That is why they’re a bit hard to get.
If you want Solider amulet you can check Emerald Pendant on the wiki or on TP. Soldier accessories are also available for karma, but only on Masterwork rank.
There are very less armor skins available during the lower levels. Most of the nice looking armor skins are only available at lvl80.
Did the same trying to get a rare lvl80 accessory that have power/vitality/toughness stat using karma accessories. Hope this is a bug.
Big bosses usually lower their head enough for melee characters to hit and you can also hit them at their feet/hands. You can always use a Scepter if you want to go range.
“If you need more components, you can do it from inside the Discovery screen by clicking on the advanced ingredient in question and using the “+” icon to craft more instantly."
Have I missed this feature or is it because I’m still crafting lower tier items? Which items are classed as advanced ingredients?
It can be easily overlooked but its there. As an example, let’s say that you’re planning to discover a 15 slot box that requires a rune and some Darksteel ingots (about 10 I think), if you only have 9 Darksteel ingots when you try to discover the recipe, you’ll see a ‘+’ on the icon of the Darksteel ingot showing that you can discover something from the materials you’ve put on the discover tab but you’re missing the required amount.
The feature is really good when you’re really trying to discover something and not searching the internet/wiki for the required items beforehand.
Hope that helps.
My party just got to the final event before the end boss on path 2. Detha refuses to trigger it.
There is a possibility to ‘fix’ this bug by letting Detha die from the nearby mobs on the previous room. I’ve only done it once so I can’t say for sure that it is a 100% solution.
Working on Desolation some hours (like 12+ hours) ago.
Do some Dynamic Events in Orr. With some Magic Find food you can earn up to 1g+/hour from loots and salvage.
If doing Dynamic Events is not your thing, you can do daily dungeon runs instead. Each run can net you 30-40s, not to mention you can get Dungeon Tokens to trade-in for gear to replace the ones you have.
Hope this helps.
While waiting for the guesting feature to come up, do some cross-server dungeons.
Running the same build in WvW with Staff/Scepter-Torch (for annoying those players at the walls with Smite). I have to agree that this build, with the Staff, only shines in a group where other players are focusing on other players.
I suggest to always use Orb of Light and don’t detonate it as it does a lot of damage and crits . It also makes players spread out allowing you to hit more players with Wave of Wrath, as I noticed that staff sometimes doesn’t hit the players at the back. Don’t forget to place Symbol of Swiftness as well to cause additional damage.
All harvesting nodes harvested by a sickle only offers 1 chance of harvest with a random amount of material harvested + some junk/unidentified.
@DeadlyStormZ: DR for dungeons is for your whole account, not individual characters. Anet has mentioned this before on some thread.
Don’t hoard them. You can buy anything from the Dungeon merchants if you have 2 stacks of tokens. It’s just proper inventory management.
1. Don’t destroy the burrow near the entrance of the room. Destroying this burrow will summon another burrow at south-east corner of the room that will immediately spawn 2 Graveling Scavengers that can knockdown the NPC and kill him.
2. Ask 1 or 2 of your party members to kite the mobs appearing from the burrow near the entrance. Should not too hard, just make sure they have condition removal and mobility skills to counter the bleed effects from the Gravelings.
3. The remaining party members should attack the burrow that appears on the west side of the room first. Once the burrow is destroyed they should then move on to the small room at the south-west corner of the room to destroy the burrow there. Once that is done, another burrow will appear beside the burrow near the door – destroy that first.
4. After destroying the 3rd burrow, proceed to cleaning the room of any large Gravelings or Graveling Breeders (optional). Only then proceed to destroying the burrow near the entrance.
5. Once the burrow near the door is destroyed, move to the burrow that will appear on the south-east corner (the one that spawns 2 Graveling Scavengers immediately).
6. Split your party members to destroy the last remaining burrow on the north-west corner and killing/managing the 2 Graveling Scavengers.
Done! You’ve succesfully defended Hodgins.
Check Ebonhawke merchants.
Oiled Leather Pack prioritizes junk items filling up its slots first and Rugged Leather Pack is just your standard bag.
I’m actually not comparing it to WoW as I’ve not played it.
What I’m trying to say is that some players and incoming players will be more welcome to doing explorable dungeons if they have options to do them in appropriate levels.
Yes, we lvl80 are being scaled to lvl35 in AC but we are still able to take more damage and do damage than a lvl35-40 player doing the same dungeon.
Great video btw.
The idea is focused on adjusting the difficulty of the mobs/bosses that is appropriate, say for a new lvl35 player that is going for AC for the 1st time. Most players doesn’t have enough gear that helps them to complete AC without suffering a lot of frustration and getting broke on repair bills.
Not sure if the title fits the idea, anyways.
With a lot of players having difficulty on dungeons, due to their imbalances or PUGs, I would suggest that instead of having a single minimum level for each explorable mode in dungeons to have more options based on the level selected. (confusing? I know…)
Example:
In Ascalonian Catacombs, instead of having lvl35 as the minimum requirement for explorable mode to choose to enter a dungeon that is fit for either level 35/60/80 players and level the mobs inside to the appropriate level chosen by the group. This ofcourse should reward players accordingly on which level of dungeon they chose.
I think that you can create more challenging dungeons for hardcore players without affecting the casual players that just want to do the dungeon for fun and not for a challenge.
I think its better to implement Ranger pet costumes instead of more pets.
Please make the next playable race Kodan.
I would really like this to be fixed as well.
It’s bugged.
I’ve only seen my Ghastly weapons change their appearance once even when it’s night in LA.
