Dont care if you think this post is ridiculous or not. this is how i feel and I DONT CARE. I understand making a legendary is costly but when wvw is all you do, you dont make alot of money doing wvw unless your doing something we all dont know about.
Zalavaaris they would enter wvw get to participation 4 (which we have all seen) and would sit at spawn while the maps are que and the actual people who participate in wvw couldnt even get in.
Now if you all excuse me I am allowed to vent so if you dont like this post, move on.
Well thats the end of the Warbringer for me. And of course Anet screws with WvW again. I would understand if we made gold in WvW but we SPEND MORE than what we make. UNLESS anet cares to up the anty on precursor drops. Thank you Anet for messing with us again in WvW.
oh I have. I understand warbringer is easier to get if all you do is WvW but to SPEND 300gold on something your never going to use. The PvP legendary backpiece YOU DONT spend that. I rather put the 300g on a precursor for a legendary weapon. With all the easy ways to get an ascended backpiece I can have a 1000000 ascended backpieces than 1 legendary for 300gold with the same stats lol.
I am an avid WvW player only pve when I have to gather stuff for legendaries. I am happy to be getting more skirmish tickets which will make getting the Warbringer backpiece much faster. What I failed to see (until now) the last Commanders Wings of War you MUST own a Commanders Icon. NOW I HAVE TO spend 300gold on a commanders icon (which i will NEVER USE) just to get the legendary backpiece.
Anet Please, it is tough enough that your introducing PVE into WvW to entice some of the pve world (which they dont enter unless they can AFK) and as an avid WvW player I need this for the backpiece. Cant you please make things simple for us without using SO MUCH GOLD BECAUSE in WvW YOU DONT make gold to begin with.
It is so unfair that we are spending this time in WvW because we like this part of the game and now to finally get something worth it while doing something we like to do we now have to spend 300gold.
I am so sick of this lag (which I never did before) and the constant DC. Im alway repairing this game and apparently its not working. My pc and internet is fine, the other games are fine,, its just this game. Cant something be done or are they Ddos again?

Are you serious decay timer? I understand you want everyone to be active so you dont have afkers getting pips. What about defending a tower or a keep and im alone not getting participation, It will start to decay? What about the guild raiding for 2 hours and decides to take a medium break to give players a chance to go to the bathroom, get something to eat the participation starts to decay? Seriously Anet just keep destroying WvW.
They dont care about the people playing WvW and because of that reason People are leaving the game. Anet forgets, WvW is a separate community that hates to intertwine with pve unless its DESPERATELY needed to get what we want for wvw.
Anet has not woken up in 3 years im playing this and Im gathering they wont now.
Its really sad that ArenaNet DOES NOT think of anything other than PvE. This is why WvW is dying and the WvW community plays this game for that one simple fact, they DONT LIKE PVE.
Legendary armor is GREAT for WvW since the meta is always changing and We all are sick and tired of changing stats on our ascended gear and having to change the runes and sigils. Legendary armor can change all of that and give us the opportunity to change according to the meta.
Anet please give us some consideration (for which im waiting on after 3 years of wvw) and think of our community the way you think of PvE. The majority of WvW players WILL NOT do PvE Raids because that will consist of ANOTHER SET of armor and quit frankly it is long and boring.
Therefore, once again WvW players is forgotten (like always) and I will probably get a warning for posting this.
Thanks Anet for another disappointing event,, (just like the legendary backpiece) only for PVE and PvP. Start looking for other games to play.

The 211 scoring system has been a huge step in the wrong direction.
ABSOLUTELY AGREE Im still trying to meet one person who voted on this scoring system. I have yet to find that one person. WvW is going downhill and hopefully Anet will realize this and maybe fix the problem.
As we all started to notice, Anet does not care about WvW players. They are constantly bringing things to WvW that is horrible and doesnt make sense. I believe more Anet people should be in WvW instead of killing bosses in the HoT maps.
Im so missing the old days of WvW when people are happier just killing and defending instead of siege humping. If you’re a WvW player stick with the other games your playing because this will phase out soon enough. So sad,, Anet please fix this and please stop saying you’re taking a pole because I havent met a WvW person yet who voted on this scoring system.
but the name of the game is World vs World where you would expect stress. If you dont have stress in wvw then pve should be your style. The 3-2-1 at least you have a chance to catch up.. just getting 1 point with the other server is no winning chance unless your server stays awake 24/7 lol
havent you noticed that Anet is only focused on PvE and is phasing out WvW althought the name of this game is Guild Wars not PvE Raid Wars lol. Im an avid WvW player and thank god I have a WvW/gvg guild although its getting harder to find other guilds to go against with this server migration and scoring system.
Anet is killing us slowly and its sad because their losing alot of players.
Ive been on very strong WvW guilds also alot of gvgs but I am willing to learn more things with a new guild. Do you have any contact names I can get in touch with?
I totally agree this scoring system is really bad and there is no way to catch up because the 2 lower servers WILL NOT work together to beat the higher scorer server. Please bring back the 3-2-1 scores and I dont know ANYONE who choose this system. Anet already had this in place before they said anyone voted on it (never saw that vote)
Does anyone know of any Aussie Guilds that does wvw. I play guardian or necro (what ever the guild needs) and I am willing to transfer. Please help me out because the server Im on now there is no Aussie guild and I LOVE WvW. Thanks all and have a wonderful New Year.
Anet does not know what else to do to WvW but constantly messing it up. It seems to be getting worse and of course there are no incentives for 2nd and 3rd place servers in the skirmish. Well hell, screw the score on who wins (because it doesnt matter anyway) lets just farm the players and hope we get a precursor out of it. WTG Anet with messing around with WvW when you dont have a clue how to fix the old problems.
This is the most horrible ridiculous scoring system Anet came up with yet. Are they trying to ruin WvW and make it obsolete. Im just sure Anet doesnt know what to do with WvW so their trying anything they can and it keeps getting worse. 2nd and 3rd place servers should get together and double team the 1st place server in the skirmish. We have nothing to lose but good fights and making new friends lol. WTG Anet in messing up WvW again.
thats all Anet is apparently interested in is the PVE mode because there are many more of them than WvW players. That is sad because we are neglected and in order to do anything we have to become pvx (YUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK).
I have been asking for this for a long time now and still waiting for Anet to initiate this suggestion. I understand the importance of where to put your siege in your inventory bag and keeping it in order, but why do we have to leave our inventory bag open and take up room on the screen where you can have a mini bar and click its placed…. It will not interrupt the visual effects on the screen and no reason why we need to have our bag open while fighting.
When your in the middle of the zerg fight you click bag closed (especially if your commanding) then click bag open again when your about to place the siege down (no need for that). Anet can design something simple and easy for our siege, food, utilities, boost, the way anet designs alot of new things for PVE…
Im really hoping Anet will take this into consideration since all the changes going on in wvw. Alot of WvW players quit playing and we just want to make it easier even for New Commanders learning. Why have your inventory bag open taking up room on the screen (even if you make it smaller) when you can have a siege bar including your wrenches, foods, boost.
Anet please do something to rectify the wvw mess and people leaving.
the bar is easier than opening your inventory bag.. has nothing to do with sorting the inventory bag or throwing it down, its opening up the bag having it open on your screen especially when your in a rush to throw down siege.
I brought this up to Anet a couple of times but I guess it wasnt lucrative enough. Have to be in wvw to understand how important it is to have a Siege Bar so you dont have to open inventory bag.
When your in a rush to take a tower or a keep and your fumbling through your inventory to look for stupid siege its a win or break situation before the zerg is on you. Every second counts when taking a keep or tower that is t3.
Anet please this time listen to us and Make WVW the way it use to be Great again.
*I am an advert WvW player and I get frustrated when i have to place siege that my Inventory bag is opened….
Anet can you please create a bar or something on the side or bottom of screen to keep our siege in. Therefore we dont have to decrease the inventory bag and leave it open, we can have the siege open on a bar and use it immediately.
Im sure other wvw commanders would agree it is a pain in the butt having the inventory bag open just to throw down siege. Please Please create something to leave it on the screen Opened.*
Anet i understand the meaning of team chat and why you implemented it going across the boarderlands. Unfortunately it is being used as a troll method and it is very annoying listening to the bull going on. Can you please put it back to the way it was, or take it off completely and just use the map chat like we always did. . People are using it like it is a whisper chat and again it is extremely annoying listening to the trolling going on in other maps. Unfortunately there are many of us that took team chat off (as a zerg guild) and we are not responding if another guild on another map needs help.
I really feel sad for us wvw players for the simple fact that wvw has been and will be continued to be phased out. I know anet is trying to fix the wvw population by merging servers (which is not a fix) and now with this skirmish nonsense.
Maybe if we (meaning wvw players) get incentive bonus or worth wild rewards then we can get a community to join wvw or bring back some of the players we lost due to GW2 being a pve game.
I know anet doesnt want the scores to be run away due to different times players play, but all in all it is not fixing the problem WvW has. We are losing players because the game is not motivated for wvw players.
Please this scoring will not fix the problem.. it is only complicating things more and losing more wvw players; you tried desert bls, you tried merging servers, what happened to the tournaments (because of the HOT, pve).

Anet I understanding adding one desert bl to the wvw community but you also reset the scores and gave us a different server to go up against. Which means now we are starting all over as if today is Reset Day and no one is online. Of course we were leading but now we have different servers to go upagainst. I dont mind adding a the horrible desert bl (and to my understanding the desert bl is your home bl) to which no one will defend and that is the best opportunity to bombard that bl, but to change the score and add different servers in the equation is now a bit much.
All of us have been saying RESET THE TIMES. There are so many threads about reseting times and it is truly sad that it is so late. What ever happened to 9 pm eastern starting time. Anet 10:00 pm eastern is so late that most of us skip reset or can only play for an hour. This reset time is so so so wrong.
Not for nothing but I love the matchups. Ive noticed that what we are up against is not so much a failure of servers we fight but a failure of people not knowing how to use their skills, their builds and join together as a team. What ive also noticed is that all servers have been blobby including NSP and DH and unfortunately you think your outnumbered because of the failure of skills. HOD has been going against blobs every week and yet as a server and the merge we come together as ONE big team and can wipe out the blobs against us.
Im not saying no server is better than the other but what I am saying if your merging servers come together and work together you can have some awesome fights.
Anet thank you for the merge, it is wonderful. Start getting along with the fellow merging servers thats the only way your server will work.
I absolutely love the server I am merged with. The only disadvantage with the merge like everyone is saying is the amount of ques in each borderland. As I stated in other forums it is the reset time (eastern time) 10:00 pm that is a killer. Working all day and waiting for 10:00 pm to come around is torture let alone waiting hours if you dont get in right away. Hell by the time you get in, its time for bed because some work on Saturday so thats the end of reset. Mostly everyone enjoys reset just to see if we go against a different server.
Anyway like i said I love the server we are merged again and if there is a rotation I hate to see them go.. hahahahaha whats bad about it,, they know your play style if you up against them lol
I have made post about reset time so many times. Hell I made a post about it last night. Anet reset time is too late for us est people. Can we please have it an hour early??? I really wanna play reset and help my server out on resets but I can’t rn because I’m in NY and work on the weekends so 10pm is too late. People who live in California or other western States you guys don’t have to worry about it because if you get home around 7 or 8 you still have while night to play where we easter people do not
I agree i also live in N.Y. and have to wake up at 5am because I’m a nurse and would love to play on reset. At 10:00 pm eastern i get to go inside the borderlands but by 10:30 pm I have to leave because it is already too late to even enjoy.
Again, 1 hour earlier will not make that much of a difference in anyone’s life whether it be traffic, rush hour or working on Saturdays just so long we can enjoy Reset. Most wvw people enjoy Reset because its fresh and new……
All this talk about being stuck in rush hour, At least you have the rest of the evening to play. Eastern folks can maybe have an hour to play after reset, then its lights out. Alot of people like playing on reset because its possibility going against a different server and you want to play with your guildies. As far as having a que at 11:30 at night, hmmmmm thats when it started to die down due to people going to work on saturday or people just tired from working all day long and the only que was on ebg and that is due to the different time zone people coming on.
Didnt think 1 hour earlier would kill anyone and if you remember reset in the past started at 8 pm eastern so therefore im talking about changing it to 9 pm eastern so it gives us all a chance to play and enjoy.
You keep talking about the most populated state in US and all about the California time 6pm is rush hour, but you also have the whole night to play when you get home. 10 pm eastern time, people are already going to bed because their tired from working the whole day.. Getting home at 6 pm and waiting 4 hours for reset is exhausting and boring.
Please Anet do something about the reset time, because I remember at one time it was 8 pm eastern (if not mistaken). 10 pm eastern is totally uncalled for and frankly not fair.
Please Anet consider changing the reset time for WvW. This 10:00 pm eastern time is so late. Most of our guild members have to work on Saturday therefore they cant stay up late to enjoy reset in the Great Alpine boarderlands. Since were all sitting around waiting for reset to start people are tired from working all day.
Cant it be changed to 9:00 pm eastern so the ones that have to work the weekends can at least enjoy some of the reset. I’m sure 1 hour earlier would not hurt anyone.
Please DO NOT bring back the desert borderlands. It was extremely hard running a mile away to get to a keep, camp, or tower just to defend. 1/2 the server would say screw that let them have it because it was too much running over, under, around, on top and then falling off a cliff just to defend. THANK YOU so much Anet from the bottom of the old veteran players heart for bringing back the Alpine Maps. The new players in wvw have no clue how much fun the alpine maps were and we are all excited they are back. I told my friends that left GW2 and WvW the Alpine Maps are back and they came back to GW2 yesterday. You will see many people coming back to the game. So much fun roaming again and finding people around the maps.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU… I Love you Anet. Never been so happy sieging up Hills and Bay and ROAMING.. so many good fights again while roaming and defending. THANK YOU THANK YOU again…. Please DO not change it back in a couple of months……
The ques wouldnt be so bad if they changed the time from 10:00 pm eastern to at least 8 or 9 pm eastern. We had a 100 + que and by the time 11:00 pm came around you were tired of waiting. Way to go Anet for bringing wvw players into pve (while waiting for the ques) for which i got in at 1 am eastern time.. Horrible idea merging servers, regardless of the ques, the lag was horrible (with settings turned down all the way). There is no communication on ts with other server, and we had 6 tags up on one map. I cant even imagine the Tier 1 servers right now. Good Luck all trying to enjoy a game of defending, PPT and trying your skills out against a MASSIVE BLOB. WTG Anet you did it again. Reconsider
I am so ashamed with Anet right now. I know they tried their best at merging servers due to lack of people playing on the lower tiers but seriously now. Regardless of Reset, regardless of beta, I sure hope Anet goes back to the way it was. There is no communication with teamspeak, there is no coverage, forget the PPT; everyone and their mother put up a tag and no one knew who to follow except following your own guild (if they even got in). When we tried to tell the other server the meaning of different color tags we all got trolled. Trying to deal with another server along with their troll guilds was horrible. And I understand the linguistics of trying out the beta but if it continues the way reset was you can forget it. Im sure other servers were complaining and Im hoping Anet takes these complaints into consideration.The ques are horrifying, could not get my whole guild in wvw and god forbid you dc because of the lag.
Anet please reconsider this merge because you will have alot of people UNABLE to participate in WvW. You really didnt think this through and I honestly thought it was going to get better and it ended up worse.
no 1. I am not a newcomer to WvW thereforeI dont mind the less supply for cata and such, but i do mind you cant res while in combat. I do mind this Alliance theory coming out because they are already setting up alliance guilds which will not benefit the unpopulated servers.

Seriously Anet, not being about to res while in combat. Are you really trying to push us out of playing WvW and pushing us towards PvE. The only good change is less supply for catas.. I thought this sneak preview would be WERE GIVING YOU BACK YOUR OLD MAPS (guess that will never happen) or Dont worry guys, There wont be any alliances we will just merge the less populated servers. God Rainbow 6 siege is looking better and better.
I know the time is coming when WvW will die altogether and Anet will be happy. It is really ironic when the name of the game is Guild Wars, not Guild PvE, not Guild Kills NPC. The sole reason for playing this game is because of WvW and now im guessing my sole reason to play Rainbow Siege 6 and other games is because Anet has a blind fold on and cant be bothered by how much they failed with WvW.
I play GW2 because of WvW and with all the new changes made to WvW all you read about are the complaints. Why doesn’t Anet consider the people playing the game and how we feel about the changes. Eventually WvWers are going to be a dying breed. I understand Anet wanting people to enjoy the whole game including wvw, pvp and pve but if people enjoy what they are doing, why change it?
Now i am hearing rumors (so they say) about this new Alliance that is coming. Is that really fair to the servers that dont have enough people to have guilds join other guilds (especially when they dont have enough people in their guild to begin with). Doesnt Anet realize that the tier 1 and tier 2 servers already have their guilds in place to forum a so called Mega Alliance. Could you imagine Tier 1 server combining their guilds to an alliance going up against an Alliance that can barely sustain WvW. I dont like what is happening and unfortunately there will be alot of players either leaving the game or leaving WvW. Instead of forming an Alliance where you will have the best of the best guilds in one Alliance, just merge the nonpopulated servers together, NOT the guilds.
Well I dont know what is happening with this game and frankly im sad about it. Sad because it seems like Anet is not listening to the people that play what they enjoy. . I have seen Dev’s in WvW but their in EBG, why not play in the borderlands you created.
Just sadden by what is happening to WvW and ending something i enjoy playing.
Hopefully Anet will see how many people still enjoy WvW and will fix the problems associated with the mess up.
