I heard it was and that you have to go to some npc to exchange it for one that can be sold.
It got fixed so now both plunderers spawn along with more pirates. You could possibly duo it but I don’t think solo is possible anymore.
Can those having issues post a screenshot of the dialogue options?
Try doing tier 4. You’re supposed to do them in order but I’m willing to bet that doing a higher tier counts as doing a lower tier. What I mean is that you could do four tier 4’s to complete the achievement.
Well it works for me so there’s likely a bug that’s caused by doing something specifically.
exploits@arena.net
You must start from tier 1 and work your way to tier 4 with both candidate separately. The top-most option will always be the highest tier. If you want tier 1 then select the bottom option.
They do twice a month because they noticed that player activity dropped off after a week or two. All of these living stories have been capable of being completed in two weeks.
I often just dedicate the first night of release to doing the new content and then finish the rest as I get to it.

1…2…3…4. They must be done in that order for EACH candidate.
There’s actually two.
Just do a change.org thing.
Thank god they are. Last night was so annoying when everyone was running crystals and protecting the crystal runner instead of also stopping the other team. It was more of a race than a battle.
Could be a lot of places. Have you done every jumping puzzle? Often they have their own area such as the one in Dredgehaunt Cliffs. Timberline also has an often skipped area at the SE corner that’s on the way to the quaggan area.
The votes from players will likely be even for the most part. One may have a lead but it won’t be significant enough that someone can’t manipulate the vote count for a candidate.
I’m actually planning to use all of my profit that I make in July from the trading post to go towards Kiel. There’s really nothing worth buying in this game right now and it’s time the account did something other than play on the trading post.
Monthly does count.
You can click through it.
You have to do the daily, not the individual achievements. Do 5 achievements and you complete the daily. It’s just poor descriptions on Anet’s part. It’s the same for the aspect arena where it says your team has scored with the crystals whereas it only counts if you’re the one that scored.
Damage needs to be increased and distance covered from the fire #5 dash skill halved.
First place is 175 points. Unless you had that score then you did not win. A lot of people don’t feel like waiting until everyone crosses so they leave after they finish.
You need to pick a side and line of sight them to pull them together. This is a concept that only 1% of players seem to grasp. We got stuck and were able to beat it.
We had a guardian LoS one side a d focus on keeping them away from the seal. This was the one we were trying to burn down. The four of us would charge the hammer and go from side to side breaking the seals. We were not concerned if the other side healed. We would aid the guardian if needed. You also must protect whoever is running the hammer.
This just requires more coordination that your average pug isn’t capable of.
I can confirm the fractal issues. I also had a problem where I could not go to checkpoint when I died even though everyone was out of combat. Relogging, restarting app, etc did not work.
This isn’t griefing but I do agree that it’s annoying.
I just do the jp to the far west of the map. I figured if someone can get that far, and do the jp, then they deserve to kill me.
You have to do it while holding an orb. I don’t see how he could’ve gotten it unless he had it already.
I don’t believe they are supposed to show up.
No. You’re missing that it’s for the daily itself and not the individual achievements that make it up. It will take 6 days to do both living story achievements.
Print off a map of their locations and then cross off each one as you read it.
I’m for everything except the checkpoints and no enemies. You can just include an infantile mode like which was in SAB for those that want it easy.
Then that is probably something that should be looked at. Which server are you on? I can see if I can replicate your issue tonight.
You should read the entire Wikipedia article before linking it.
Graphics cards mean little compared to a CPU in this game. A higher end CPU will get you further.
This isn’t an exploit.
How’s it unclear? It tracks your progress for each individual achievement for the daily and also your progress for the daily itself. You need to complete five daily achievements to complete the daily.
You’re playing on a system that can barely handle the game. I suggest you put all settings to their lowest otherwise it may be time to upgrade.
I hope the next living story has another achievement in the EB jp. It was so much fun when we worked as a team to overcome those camping at the top. It feels so rewarding to finally get the achievement.
With the cool downs for phantasms, they’re summoning so many because you’re taking too long to kill them and/or illusions. If I have enough time to summon 3 duelists in the same fight then my opponent is playing horribly.
No reason to nerf a class when it’s a learn to play issue.
You likely completed the zone before the new poi was added for the jp.
Bonus chest is account bound and once per day. Regular chest is character bound and once per day.
You get a group of people and farm the achievement in Brisban. I believe you can get around 8 giants per run.
Sometimes when you join a race in progress, you get the race as a trial run. Or maybe a practice run. I can’t remember. Anyways, the majority of the time when you get this it starts you at the very last checkpoint. Crossing the finish line COUNTS as completion for the achievement.
Is this intended? Someone can just continually join and leave games until they got this scenario (which happens quite often) and farm their 25 wins within 30 minutes.
EDIT: It also counts toward the frequent sprint where you need 15 completions for a loot bag. This dumbs down the race. Please fix it so that you only get credit if you do it from the beginning.

Playing solo in a dungeon should yield you 20% of the rewards that you would get from a full group. This is assuming that the dungeon difficulty scales based on number of people in the dungeon.
Well, I know (Dungeon Master), but I’m playing mostly with PUG’s, so I’m afraid it can be quite more challenging. As it goes for CoE on GW2LFG.com I see mainly parties for P1.
That’s because it’s the faceroll path for pugs when it comes to Subject Alpha. No dodging capabilities required!
It’ll probably have the highest completion reward but likely not worth it for the majority of pugs.
Except a lot of people want rings that go with their builds. I have yet to get an infused ring that any of my characters would use. If shards are so useless then no sense in letting them sit in your bank when you can upgrade a ring with the stats you want to the infused version.
And for clarification, infused rings start dropping at level 20 but the regular rings are still part of the drop table until you hit level 26.
I leveled guardian up through map/world completion. I essentially maxed out the power trait line followed by precision, and lastly toughness. Each time I unlocked a new tier for traits I would just rinse and repeat.
In my personal experience leveling characters, I haven’t noticed the effectiveness of any builds until you get closer to 80. Berserker is the meta for PvE at the moment and was what I did with guardian. You have enough innate survivability that you should have it easier than most classes.
chance of a precursor via drop: 0.001%
Precursor drop rated after doubled: 0.002%
Nice.
You missed a few zeroes.
Nope the point your missing is they clearly put that JP would be optional however if most of the living story is going to add them then that means the whole thing is nothing more then optional. So I salute anet for wasting time and money of paying players.
I think we don’t have the same definition of “optional”. You can get the 16 achievements required for the chest without doing the kites in the JP or finding the 40 crystals.
So those 3 kites tied to JP ? Fully optional. Except for achievement points. There is 18 achievements total. 5 of those achievements do not require you to traverse a jumping puzzle. Meaning you still have to do 11 achievements that require you to traverse a jumping puzzle in order to get the meta done.
1. Strangers From the Sky
2. Voyage to the Bazaar
3. Diverse Trader
4. Ascend to Zephyr Sanctum (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPCs)
5. Kookoochoo the Incredulous (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
6. Lessons from the Sky (requires jumping puzzle)
7. Best Dive Ever (requires jumping puzzle)
8. Grandmaster of Om (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
9. Like Clockwork (Unsure on this one, as I haven’t seen Air on lower levels)
10. Parachute Pliferer
11. Learn to Kite (requires jumping puzzle)
12. Sanctum Sprint (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
13. Crystal Obsessed (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
14. Crowd Favorite (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
15. Pickup Completionist (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
16. Speedy Sprinter (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
17. Sanctum Sprinter (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
18. Frequent Sprinter (requires jumping puzzle to get to the NPC)
This is probably the most ridiculous thing I have read this month. Just because you have to tap your spacebar or use one of the new skills several times does not make it a jumping puzzle. Only 6, 7, and 11 would be considered to be based around jumping puzzles.
If you play the game on a computer that can barely run it from an Internet connection that has high latency then that’s your fault. I don’t mean to sound harsh but that’s the sad truth. That is not an excuse to dumb down content.
It’s not their problem. The community came up with the abbreviations. The gw2lfg chose to list them next to each other.
