every player using stealth is being hated kinda since launch coz most ppl dont seem to enjoy fighting vs stealthed players. now nerfing stealth will IMO only hit thieves – mesmers will get tons of invuln with HoT. PLS go to thief forums alot of thieves complain about thief now being a +1&decap class in pvp and UNABLE to 1 vs 1 even skilled player that is not a mesmer/thief ( who have access to stealth). Many ppl in thief forums think its oke coz its not thiefs role to 1 vs 1 but now if u also want to remove or totally destroy stealth the only thing that is going to happen: ‘Oh a thief! are u going to suicide or do i have to put out an evil look?’

Shame, if thiefs have to actually learn to play rather than rely on stealth and immob as crutches then cry when it gets hard to insta gib people down….those thiefs complaining are complaining as they are no longer able to have it all their own way, and have had easy mode for so long they have forgotten how to play a real fight.

My issue is the immob from stealth from 2000 range away – unless you’re superman and can spot them coming while they are invisible there is little chance to time any sort of dodge and if steal hits your pretty much toasted or forced into using your heal before you can even move. Of course it’s not a problem if I’m on guardian…

If you’re planning on 2v1, you could roll anything- if the mes is any good he should win most 1v1 or at least force thiefs to withdraw from the fight.

If you’re looking to fight 3-4 people at once, take another mes or thief or ele (even staff ele). As long as you are on voice comms you can focus most groups down as they will randomly attack both of you.

Siege arrow-carts... you gone f'ed it up

Siege in towers should be an upgrade, rather than allow endless AC/cats/trebs inside a tower- but I wouldn’t trust ANet to get placings or numbers right.

Oh can we have a few more titles added for wvw, such as ‘hides behind A/c’ for those servers that love to have many of them and only come out to play when odds are 2:1 in their favour:-)

I actually think it will make scouting more crucial, and response time/coordination more challenging. Good scouts will adapt to use tools to thwart. it means it will be crucial to have eyes everywhere, or at the very least monitor spawn.

Hrm, I wonder if they can stealth and jump maps?

Scouting won’t be crucial.

Even if you’ll follow 80 people blob into SM who will get stealthed, you have no idea where they will go, because you can’t see them.

What will you do next? Pop revealed on them?
I doubt you’ll manage to avoid all CCs and bombs from ~10 people.

Despite that, you won’t follow them anymore, and next scout won’t be so sure if those 10 are exactly the ones who are with the blob or not.

Pretty much, if that 2min stealth is true, then it means that Anet has plans to coffin nail Scouting in the future.

You drop stealth traps at key choke points (think gate exits of SM, narrowed pathways/tunnels/caves), you keep your eye out for traps that have been triggered. You lay more than one after the other so that advance scouting guys don’t accidentally trigger the traps.

You max out your AC ability so that AC aoe reveals stealth. You fire at the dorks that stop to kill the sentry along the way and reveal them all in return. And there will always always ALWAYS be two or three randoms that go chasing after the invis blob and don’t stop to get the fountain stealth. Those will be your warning drones.

Final bit: They magically poof outside your gate. If no scout is there, there’s no time to react. At all. Which makes having reliable scouts monitoring areas on map so crucial. It takes about 2.3 minutes to ram down a gate with five superior rams. That’s hardly enough time to call for help, but with enough hair-trigger reaction, they can come up the back end and wipe the blob. I think it will actually lead to more fights than before, and more epic last-minute saves. It just means more accurate and faster scouting and faster response. It’s doable.

But gone are the days of “oh look there’s white swords at Anza, I’ll take a run over and look.” You need scouts to be present and active and have established trust with commanders who know how to think and react quickly. It’ll take some adjustment. But the server with the better scouts will ultimately prevail.

It’s time to think outside the proverbial box.

I read this as ‘you use up all your supplies randomly throwing down stealth traps along every single possible route to every tower you own and hope you can both scout everywhere and replace triggered traps (while opposition has 5 randoms popping any traps you lay down, totally wasting your efforts and draining your supply).’

Oh, and have 10-15 scouts doing nothing but looking out for traps that triggered and wasting all supplies, who then get totally bored and unrewarded…

I did laugh at traps at gate exits to SM, given you can jump off any part of the wall.

And the 2.3 minutes to ram down with 5 superior rams- 60 people can blob down a gate in that time with no rams at all. Now think about golem rushes from SM with mesmers porting invisible golems.

It’s a lot harder to counter on less populated servers, or those that don’t have 10-15 people who want to spend all their leisure time planting stealth traps and then standing in towers being bored.

It’s doable on t1 prime time. Outside of that, I can’t see how it helps the smaller servers compete against bigger ones (who will get the advantage).

It’s just a bad idea. But Anet like no downside stealth mechanics so I guess we’re stuck with it- a bit like ‘root, immobilise, while steal triggers boons, guaranteed criticals and ends 0.5 seconds later back in stealth’ while you stand there then wonder why the thief can re appear at 100% HP out of stealth 2000 range away.

Should be fun watching thiefs with 2 minutes of stealth, first you’ll know of it is when 3-4 of them pop out and insta down you (oh wait, that happens now…).

They aren’t going to change the transfer price when guilds leave full servers to the second or third server on the list and are happy to pay to do so, so they can bandwagon that server to the top, whilst leaving on of their alt accounts on the top server spamming map chat all night long offering 7 gold to transfer off it.

Maybe population would balance better if they paid people gems to transfer off full servers instead? (payable 3 months after transfer or something like that)

Ghost Thief solo roaming (UPDATED 10/6)

Actually I ran across a thief last night that kept wiping my mesmer before I could move- always attacking from range, ie 2000, first skill makes him go into stealth then BOOM immobilised and less than a second later down to dregs of an HP bar and ticking 4-6 conditions, after which one of the other two there would finish me off. He’d have 6-8 boons on after his first hit.

There were 3-4 of us on either side, and he just kept picking us off one by one despite anything we did- although I have to admit we weren’t co ordinated in any way!

Funniest thing is how badly armor scales, as it made no practical difference whether I had 1200 toughness or 2k.

I’m not a fan of stealthed people being able to move normally or faster than normal, or being able to port while stealthed, or being able to immobilise from range and burst without you being able to do anything.

Of course switching to my ele made life easier and as a guardian he didn’t really have much joy at all.

Made me look forward to playing engi aoe stealth reveal after HoT hits, might make thiefs have to learn to rely on other skills than the ‘i win’ stealth mechanic of GW2.

Beta Weekend Druid Feedback Thread

I found celestial too slow to charge, so by the time it’s needed the fight is half over and half the zerg is dead before I can start to heal.

Tagging anything using staff and cele was problematic- getting loot in wvw was hard enough (don’t use barrage in big fights, instant death by retal) before on a LB, using staff and trying to charge up cele made my loot even less.

Skills don’t seem to link very well, although that might be more to do with lack of practice over the weekend and perhaps there is more synergy and fields to be able to blast than i noticed.

Level of healing in a full cleric’s set was very low- warrior with heal sig does 2-3 times per second than what I can throw on staff 1.

Skills long delays make it decent for static fights or where the target doesn’t move much (think most pve battles where the ‘legendery’ monster hardly bothers moving), but pet skill activation is so slow it’s always happening well behind where I am now, making it pretty useless in a pvp battle.

Needs a lot of work before I see it having much impact in wvw as any kind of healer.

Reducing speed by 5% doesn’t address the issues. The easy fix is to make stealthed players have to move stealthily, ie 50% movement speed reduction. Using any form of teleport should hit you with a 5 second revealed.

And remove and form of stun/root from attacks out of stealth- it’s no fun being unable to do anything at all in the 0.5 seconds it takes for a thief to macro skill damage you down to nothing.

I have to admit I did have fun using the stealth reveal on engi over the weekend when thiefs were trying to gank the backline:-))

Player Resurrect cool down on multiple deaths

Ressurects only happen if players don’t finish the downed, then run off merrily spamming 1 from their guardian train.

I love targeting players that are downed or dead and killing off players who are trying to ress the dead mid fight- 3 or 4 of them might get one person up but then they are all under 50% HP and those 3-4 players have been out of the fight. As a ranged player that’s part of my duties.

Ressing in combat is already slower than out of it.

Ressing is part of the battlefield smarts you need to think of whilst engaging the enemy- as well as making sure your own players get your own downed up where possible. I frequently see those moaning about ‘ress bots’ making no attempt to save the downed, even when they can, and then complaining that the ‘ress bot’ has allowed the enemy to get up from downed.

I can easily wipe out downed whilst playing my support ele, mesmer or ranger and I’ve noticed that when in large group fights the team that manages the downed situation better is usually the team that wins, even if the enemy started with superior numbers.

Will there ever be a fix for Nightcapping?

When they remove the points system from WvW, then nightcaping will no longer matter. The point system is just bad in every aspect and is no indication of who’s the better server. Just remove it and make it that player kills count with outnumbered buff giving double. Would negate a lot of the annoying karma train BS and actually make people fight instead of running away, this is open world pvp after all!

Actually that would lead to lots of people running away and only fighting when they know they have a numerical advantage, as well as hiding in structures behind many AC’s (like the old VIZ did).

If you want open world pvp to be the only counter, then remove all the structures, revamp siege so it can be used tactically and even then people will run away from outnumbered fights and without enemies you could not score. In order to score you would need an enemy to fight, and a sensible enemy will will only fight when they know they can win, leading quickly to a deserted battlefield. Hence why PPT is required.

A combination of Pk’s and PPT would be better than the current system.

Those complaining about night capping are missing the point of wvw, which is that it is a 24hr battle, and if you’re really concerned about points then make sure you have a 5 man squad capping camps 24/7 and towers etc whenever they can sneak one. Or even just 2-3 people capping camps on various maps- most servers can’t deal with multiple maps outside of prime so small numbers of players can rack up a lot of points for the server if that’s your aim.

Next time you buy something at the shops, shop around until you find the most expensive place, and buy it from there. Seem sensible?

They really should adjust the mats needed to craft so that they work out roughly the same- the easiest way to do that would be to introduce ‘cloth’ type nodes so they can be reliably gathered and then reduce the amount of silk required.

Played druid for a while, didn’t really feel like the skills have much in the way of group synergy – celestial needs charging and isn’t there when you need it, and the 1 second or so switch time means by the time you can hit the skills it’s a little late (at least in wvw).

I can see it being good for pve battles where everything is a lot more static, so I guess as it’s not been designed with wvw in mind it serves it’s purpose.

Ele still way more useful from a heal/damage/group play point of view on a mobile battlefield.

That’s my first impressions of the classes, my impression could well change when I play them a lot more after release.

While I understand the new system inconveiences people who are leveling, let’s objectively look at this in level ranges for when the patch hit:

- level 1-15 : not affected really.

- level 16-31: slightly affected, didn’t have that much hero points to begin with. WIll clear up by the time you hit 40-50. Not being able to get the elite you want is likely the worst aspect here.

Let me clear that up for you. At level 20+ you are locked into a trait line that you did not want, and that you cannot change or unlock another until level 31 (or is it 41?), along with a random bunch of unlocks that you also weren’t aiming for. Even then, you are a whole traitline behind until the system catches up with you at 80.

You cannot change these until you hit 80.

If you play guard or warrior you probably won’t notice (spam 1’rs generally don’t) but for the squishier classes being locked out of the trait line you actually wanted for your character for your playstyle isn’t so much fun.

Also, bear in mind not everyone power levels their toons to 80 using swaps in dungeons or whatever dodgy way is now the norm.

Still, they made the decision based on what was easiest for them rather than what players might actually want (you know, things like ‘choice’ or ‘build diversity’) and they won’t bother offering anyone affected any chance to repair their toons.

no playerbase on my server. I know you can pay to change server but i feel thats sorta stupid :/

If you want to WvW with random people thrown together try Edge of The Mists, it’s another option in the WvW menu.

Paying pretend gold to move servers is wonderful, alot of other MMO’s you’re forced to charge up your credit card to move your account. Another way Anet shows love to its customers.

I’d also recommend any kitten server… except Sea of Sorrows right now. They don’t really have much in the way of commanders or guilds that tag up for their server.

He didn’t sound like a newbie, so he’ll know EoTM is not wvw, it’s a karma train map populated mainly by pve’rs.

If he mainly plays wvw, he won’t have the gold to transfer- it’s pve farmers that have the gold to jump servers (and those chest running silverwastes people..yawn).

Even the t1 servers don’t have that many pug commanders any more, preferring to lead their own guild raids and not caring about slowly killing off the game mode.

The new map will see an increase in population for a while.

Cheaper to wait for the next $10 sale and grab a new account than spend money on gems to be able to transfer.

who cares. all my 80s have enough points unlock everything. you get full specialisations while leveling, not just a few traits that you have to hunt for. ots much better imo.

Yes, showing you don’t understand the problem and don’t care really helped the discussion.

The point is, for the players who have low and mid level characters (and are keeping them at that level for whatever reason, or are slow levellers) the seemingly random way the points were put has made some characters pretty awful, with no way of changing it.

Maybe if they reset all your level 80’s, gave them three random trait lines and locked the available traits you’d get an appreciation of what the OP’s concerns are.

Sadly, doesn’t look likely that anything will be done about it so in a lot of cases new players just quietly quit, older players end up soured and decide to reroll, and others carry on in blissful ignorance.

It’s the time gating on the gear that gets very tedious very fast.

Your old build got destroyed, now you need to get a new set of armor and somehow generate 100 laurels and 250 ecto (playing wvw ..lol, gl) at least for the ascended trinkets. Not so terrible if you only mained one toon, but if you play 5 or 6 classes…

Basically you’re stuck not playing those toons or playing some terribad build for months while you wait for the time gated ascended stuff and some laurels to equip the next toon.

I’m wondering why they even bothered announcing it, apart from hyping it up and trying to get the press to drum up support for some vague content that we might get ‘soon’..and which will no doubt be about as well executed as the recent trait changes and balance changes. And a stress test of 35? More like one huge promo but hoping that it doesn’t lag terribly like wvw does for casters in large group fights.

I need to be careful what I say and how I phrase it, the thought police are out in force today!

For once I do find myself agreeing with krall, in that by the letter of the wording of the pre purchase those who threw their money before finding out what they are getting need to learn to speak ‘marketing speak’. This holds true for life in general, like PPI claims firms promises.

Guild Wars had templates that allowed you to swap skills, etc without having to remember every skill or where your attributes were.

15 years later Guild Wars 2 promises to bring in some simplified version of it in the next release….and is that ‘next release’ mean the next expansion or next patch…

OP. You don’t. wvw rewards are the worst of any area in the game- even EoTM gives way better rewards.

There are no reward tracks like spvp.

Boss fights drop rubbish (and are over in seconds).

Drops are determined by tagging so staff guardians can merrily rack up 10-20 times as many drops as some caster classes.

The problems all stem from the complete lack of a test server. Maybe they could cut the prize on one of their spvp ‘e-sports’ or take some money from the marketing budget there and hire a few thousand servers to test this stuff on.

There is no shortage of experienced beta testers out there who will do their utmost to find all the faults BEFORE you release garbage and then have to hit the panic button. Any sort of actual live testing could have pointed out almost all the problems people are now highlighting.

I was defending a gate on my mesmer against multiple targets and probably had too much concentration on the ram and not enough on the other 5 players down there- was an excellent shot by the warrior as normally he’d be blocked half the time. So yes, I probably deserved it.

as for’ I’ve seen 36k backstabs from thieves.’ I don’t have 36k of hp so never seen one that high myself:-)

I think that is a new record against my mesmer, who admittedly has only got 2250 armor so is a bit squishy.

This new spike damage meta sure is fun to play, my mes can seriously wreck people when it gets going.

I’ve noticed as long as I twitch a lot, bounce around, dodge and use attunements and water like they are going out of fashion, it’s fine on a staff ele- not very relaxing, but small scale you survive as long as you react real fast to major incoming damage.

I find it amusing that people are so shortsighted that they’re hoping this is working as intended, even though this essentially invalidates the effort required for any class that is not engineer.

Think about what will happen if this is left in. Think about how this will affect the leaderboards, ranked, unranked, teams.

Easy wins at the cost of the game’s enjoyment isnt good for anyone.

Thieves are unplayable in WvW

As the title says, I’m getting downed in most scenarios before I even get the chance to do anything. I’ve been 1 shotted in a meteor shower, demolished by necros, rekt by warriors, couldn’t get a word in edge-wise against engi’s, the list goes on. I don’t believe that I should be going down this fast with 1300 toughness and 1500 vitality. This wasn’t an issue pre-patch. Anet has literally made thieves unviable in most situations for WvW. IT’S SO FRUSTRATING.

I read this as ‘I now feel like every other glass class and even some medium/tanky builds used to feel when attacked by a mainly invisible cheese mechanic exploiting thief’.

No more facepalm inst gibs without having some chance of dieing..diddums. If it was any other class complaining about the crazy amounts of damage around i’d have some sympathy.

Basically they adjusted most classes to do what thiefs could do previously (but without access to the cheese mechanic stealth)..don’t you like it when you’re on a level playing field?

The balance team utterly failed to take into account group mechanics, wvw, etc and the absence of even a rudimentary test server is shininh through loud and clear now.

Not sure how they will fix the broken damage now- restricting builds to just 3 trait lines and moving the stats is proving to be another of those ideas that sounded good to the devs in theory but in practice has turned pvp into a joke.

As a test, I jumped on to my super tanky engineer, tried to get somewhere near my old traits (some useful ones are gone, as they were in another trait line). previously, I could have played tag with 2-3 thiefs or mesmers or pretty much 2-3 of anything, as my very high armor and HP together with heals, etc outdid their damage. now, it’s ‘boom, dead’.

Wonder if there is any point in wearing any toughness at all now, having 2.3k toughness or 1.1k toughness seems to make zero difference now on ranged classes- although my tanky guard lasted well compared to my ranged classes with LESS armor…

Home Server Reset with HoT release

With the static rankings settling in again, rather than raising caps, having non T1 servers at FULL, etc.
Why not remove everyone’s home server selection and let everyone pick anew when HoT releases?
This might help servers that are FULL and might encourage some guilds and players to spread out among different servers; renewing matchups which in many cases are lopsided and/or stale.
Is there a reason not to do this?

Not sure what server you’re on, but mine uses ts to organise things like raids, pugs, etc.

So if you reset and let everyone choose where they want to go, nothing will change. All the current wvw guilds on my server would choose a server and all jump on that one- then you have the problem of terrible mismatches with stacked server playing one or two almost vacant servers while they move back to the top of the pile (and get the usual bandwaggoners).

Maybe Backstab should have a cool down.

You generally don’t know where the thief IS, you see where he WAS, before his near perma stealth and cheese mechanics pop up next to you (from max range- why do thiefs moan about rangers hitting from far away when a thief has an instant gap closer that stuns), now his venom has hit and you can’t move while his macro cycles through a complete burst in under 0.4 seconds and you’re either downed or very low on hp before you can even move.

Not having cooldowns on thief skills was a very bad design decision and leads to a ’I’m now down to 20% hp and the fight has just started having used my heal, thief is at 100%- can’t run they catch me, starting a fight at 20% hp or downed isn’t a good plan’.

Thiefs are the reason i ran a condi ranger build in spvp, until Anet ruined it with the recent spirit changes and trait line restrictions.

Ran across a decent d/d ele the other day after patch and couldn’t even dent him on my power mesmer- might get his hp down under 50% in a burst but a quick combo blast and he’s full hp whilst tagging me with all sorts including burning.

WvW players, it’s not that you were forgotten, it’s just the map designers didn’t know you even exist. You don’t matter. Nothing is balanced to take into account wvw, there is no test server, and if the new wvw map isn’t full of holes and pve mechanics I’ll be a cheese.

They should all be located in a separate game called Jump Puzzle 2 (which is what gw2 feels like sometimes..).

I love some of the terminology used here, such as ‘investing’ ‘patrons’ etc. You are doing no such thing- you are spending money on a product. Typical marketing ploy, make you feel ‘invested’ in the product.

Investing would involve buying shares in the parent company.

We were really slow, but we did it at least. So he’s still doable. Everyone saying otherwise is exaggerating.

So stacks are still restricted to 25 on Teq? Or is your screen shot from before the patch?

This has been raised for YEARS, but because wvw balance doesn’t matter to Anet at all this problem with retal will never get a look in, as it doesn’t affect spvp.

There is a very simple fix, 1 second internal cooldown on retal damage received, problem solved. Will it ever get dev attention? Highly doubtful, been 3 years and nothing much changed.

"Four shotted" by theif, 18519 damage

‘Combat’ has become a bit of a joke with the new patch.

I tried a high condi huge toughness build and was spiked down by a thief in seconds, or melted by a thief and mesmer before I could blink.

Biggest problem is thief skill chains have no delay time, so they can macro a combo that finishes in half a second (you’re stunned anyway) abd basically wipes you no matter what your armor rating is.

Not saying it’s much better against other classes- combat has become ultra twitch and first burst wins.

Condi might be the meta in 1v1 (or spvp, as it’s known) and pve, but in wvw condis just give even more boons to the zerg or disappear so fast they don’t even get a tick in.

Suppose we should be grateful they changed the decision on adding 5% more to ascended gears…

Now if only we had proper healers or a lot more skills that reduce max damage from one hit to 10% of your HP.

All my build died in the patch- I would share them with everyone bad sadly a basic feature of GW, the template code, never made it to gw2, so they are gone now unless i find the scraps of paper I wrote them on.

It’s definitely spam 1 guard spam 1 aoe , burn wars, even tried out a super bunky engie build and that doesn’t work either- too much damage from a mes and a warrior, before patch I’d have played with them all day, now tried a few variations and boom dead.

3 trait line restriction and can’t trait the old traits I had due to them being squished into same line, etc .

Guess it’s go glass and die a lot or play guard and boon spam, best boon spam team wins.

Funniest one was a fight against a warrior where the conditions dropped off him so fast it was not funny- none lasted more than two seconds and he didn’t have -40 food on either, all while regenning like crazy.

Condi might be the meta against NPC’s but in group fights they disappear so fast or get converted to boons or you just die so fast to direct damage….

Might work on a build for my mes that works in wvw group play..soon.

Are you going to address how you forced characters to train into builds using their hero points without their consent? :o

Why not. Basically there were two options, both with a large number of edge cases.

1) We wipe your stuff and let you respec as you see fit. Because so much had changed this was our initial plan. Here are problems it ran into.

  • People return from a long hiatus and don’t remember what they were running
  • People log in and the first thing they have to do before they can play is learn both the new unlocking system and the new build system.

2) We look at what you had equipped and unlock the necessary skills and traits to re-equip you. Here were some discussions points around that:

  • We might give you stuff you don’t want
  • at least this won’t matter for lvl 80s if we make all the unlocks possible by just reaching lvl 80.

There is a third option which I’m sure you will bring up.
3) let players choose
Here are some reasons we did not go with that:

  • Its twice the work
  • Its actually more than twice the work because it would have required temporarily saving both options until you choose which is more complex technical work.
  • People who were unlikely to understand or want to explore the new system were going to be potentially more confused by the choice.

At the end of the day we wanted to ship this build so we had to decide. Based on instinct we erred on the side of helping people we thought would be more overwhelmed by the opposite choice, and I would make that choice again because it has less edge cases, impacts more expert users, and leans towards over unlocking for free to benefit most of the edge cases anyway.

Hope this info helps you understand our process a bit more.

Here’s what your system left my lvl 23-26’s with:

rangers with only wilderness survival open.
guardians with only valor open.
thief with only shadow arts open(!!!!).

basically what you are saying is ‘tough luck, sorry we screwed your character, but we didn’t think you’d be intelligent enough to distribute your own points’.

Think again. next time try asking , oh, I don’t know, maybe a nine year old what option they would rather have- pretty sure they could understand that totally gimping low level players to the extent they are better off rerolling would NOT be their choice, but it is yours…

Next time, credit your players with a little more intelligence (and the ability to use google to find how the system works if they can’t figure it out in the first ten seconds) and just reset rather than screw them over.

I appreciate you taking the time to explain the thinking behind the decision, but the logic was deeply flawed by assuming your players were basically too thick to work it out themselves.

Not entirely unrelated, get a test server (no shortage of volunteers) and test these things out before you throw them over wall like slops on to the unsuspecting peasants below.

I’m disappointed they spent so much time and resources on this instead of on playable areas, etc.

Would have been perfectly happy with the old LA before it got destroyed, add in the new NPC’s and then get on with delivering actual content instead of cosmetic changes.

The lower level automatic choosing is truely awful. I got two different stats as I happened to have sword and horn up on one ranger lvl 26 and LB on the other- now the sw/horn one has wilderness survival open and locked, rather than marksmanship which is what i’d have liked.

had a good run for a bit then rng bit me, was 700g up at one point, quit when went back to even. Didn’t manage the unlock, might have some fun with it in a few weeks.

Yep. Logged the lvl80 ranger and build is totally blown now, only 3 trait lines means I’m missing stuff I needed to survive.

Wonder whether it’s better to reroll those low level (chest opening) toons or leave them forever kitten, as it sure doesn’t seem sensible to now level them up when a rerolled would have better trait choices and stats….

One day, Anet will test out this stuff on players before they throw it at us…
