Yes it will work.
Remember to pick the Leftpaw’s skin and the white item status to make it work.

A full expansion for free?
Edit: No srsly, now they have me curious. Meh, we’ll see what the year brings, it’s only just begun after all..
But the thing that many GW2 fail to realize is that we already get that. It’s called Living Story :P
It’s just that Living Story gives you new content every 2 weeks while an expansion you need to wait more than a year to get content all at once.
I’m thinking we get to see some new maps brought back to life from the original GW. Maybe we will get to go to the Crystal Desert after all and deal with the dragon there ;S
The player base knows that, but the market and possible new players don’t, an expansion is more attractive for people outside the GW2.
Yeah, the game need a new map for sure, over 1 year of game and the only map they added was the Southsun Cove, a map that was not even part of the original GW universe, so much material they already have and they decided for a new “random” map.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
so what could possibly be better than an expansion?
Half-Life 3 as playable game inside GW2 O.O
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Yeah, it is possible, check my post here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Post-a-pic-of-your-character-only-if-your-armor-is-mix-n-match/3331505
I have Order of Whispers coat + Durmand Priory legs and boots

To make it clear, ranger is my main since beta.
I love it, in my previous regen/cond build I soloed Snowblind fractal lvl 1, with my current power build I soloed the Dredge Commissar w/o even swapping my pet (no deaths).
I do really well in WvW, and in dungeons I’m usually the last man stand and no one ever complained about my damage.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Rangers kinda suck and that is why people hate it.
The real problem with ranger is that bad rangers are way worse than a bad warrior, guardian or any other class, but a good ranger can do wonders.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Ranger.
The only class that people specifically write in “LFG” to stay off, like “LFG CoF P1 (No rangers)”
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
High level players that go to low lvl area are scaled down, so when you click him he’ll have the lvl of the map but a little green arrow indicating the scale.
Also you can use transmutation stone to copy the skin of higher level armors into lower level ones.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
WoodenPotatoes and MattVisual are the top 2 GW2 channels imo
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
And that is, in my opinion, the most ridiculous justice system ever concieved. If they are part of an enemy faction that openly wages war with you and consorts with your greatest enemy (jormag), then they are the enemy period.
I don’t see that way.
A Norn isn’t plain bad just because they choose to follow the “spirit of the ice dragon” to help achieve their goals.
Imagine a young norn, he knows that all his entire race moved because of 1 creature that also killed a Spirit of the Nature, and at same time you can gain part of his power if you want … kinda sounds like a good plan.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Check the “Community Corner” sub-forum for more info, but Anet is VERY opened about fansites.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Norn transformation is something that may be turned “off” somehow, when Jora and her brother Svanir got close to the possible Jormag ex-champion in Drakkar Lake in GW1 and was cursed, Jora lost the ability to transform into the Bear form.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Norns have the best justice system, they don’t believe in collective “evil”, they only care for individual actions, if a specific Son of Svanir never did anything bad, why care less about him?
Norns and SoS that make something against the rules of the city they are usually expelled or even killed, so no need for jails.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I also only realized that after I finished all the JPs, at least now most JPs using tonic or other races are easy mode for me

Norn Male Ranger (80) <— My main
Norn Female Mesmer (80)
Sylvari Female Guardian (80)
Sylvari Male Elementarist (58) <— Currently leveling
Asura Female Engineer (80) <— Using for WvW
Asura Male Thief (30)
Human Female Necromancer (80) <— Mainly for PvP and getting Tomes of Knowledge for the ele and thief
Charr Male Warrior (80)
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
How many tries did it take you to get the Dawn?
Something between 1 and 100,000 tries.
As others said, it is totally based on RNG.
I tried a few times the MF to get my tooth of frostfang, but only from drops, never actually managed to get it, so I bought and later I made my legendary, much less frustrating than flushing the Mystic Toilet.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Vitality is counter to condition damage, since it ignores armor and with more HP you can tank conditions longer, also helps with spike damage.
Toughness is counter to power, higher toughness is a good combination with high regen builds since you’ll receive lower average damage making it easier for the regens to corver it.
I recommend going you going to the the elementarist sub-forum and look/ask for a good bunker build.

Yeah, in the preview bows appear in the right band, while in game you use it in tje left hand. That may be the reason you think it is upside down.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
In the halloween last year, one of the Mad King’s story involved him killing a horse by poison.
I’m on my phone right now so I wont be able to link to the dialogue, but look for halloween 2012.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I think you have a LVL 78 exotic gear.
There is no tiers inside tiers.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
185g currently and my max was about 640g
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Making it simple:
A duel between a norn and a charr, norn wins.
A war between norn and charr, charr wins.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I wish search in this forum would work, took me a while to find: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/CDI-Character-Progression-Vertical/3384259
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
because they game could be so much better if they used their brains before developing content.
No, you want the game to change for something else you like.
I enjoy the game and its many aspects, so just by the fact of log in and play the game I finish my daily and I also craft my bolt of damask, I have no hurry to finish it. but in about 2 weeks, w/o any grind at all, I’ll finish it.
in the CDI topic a dev told us why they made the time gates, give it a read.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
So, what is the easy fix for the broken pet system?
Unfortunately, none.
Pet auto attacks aren’t really bad, the problem is how the F2 skill works, I mean in how it communicate with server, and also about pet survivability in AoE heavy places, both problems are very hard to solve, issues which involve hardware and also chance of unbalance in game.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I don’t get it, if you guys don’t like the game, why you want to craft ascended gear and get laurels?
If you think that log in daily and play the game is a burden … then just go play another game, I can’t imagine anything easier than that.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Depending on the class you are playing, the Mistfire can be a good option.
On my mesmer while leveling/PvE I use it.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I play in a international guild in a US server, there are many players from Asia, Europe and America here, and I also know many US players that play on EU servers because their friends got there, so those people should be permanent punished because you can’t play at “night”?
Sounds reasonable >_>
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Use a small one
I use 3 20 slots bags, 2 15 slots bag and 1 15 slots invisible bag, I make my inv window 15 slots wide so only the last line of items are in the invisible bag, I put minis and 2nd weapon/armor so that way they don’t appear in the selling tab in NPCs.
What I would like is an exclusive slot for mini that will auto summon it when changing maps.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Use invisible bags, the minis there won’t be deposited when you use “deposit all”
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
“A” would be like gamble, while “B” like an investment … I usually don’t have luck with RNG so I would pick “B”.
I would get rare items (if dungeon over lvl 75) and salvage them for ectos.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Err … there is an indicator already, see that red line under the skill? If a target is inside the range that line disappear.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
See what i enjoy the most in mmo’s is gear progression, i dont really care about exploring and getting skins and such, what i care about the most much is my character progression via gear and personal skill.
I see … in that case GW2 is not the game for you, GW2 is more focused in horizontal progression, ascended gear is the top tier gear that you’ll ever find, and still it doesn’t offer much advantage over an exotic gear.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Are you sure that you bought the splitter and not the upgrade extractor?
Upgrade extractor would do exactly what you mentioned.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
- Does their transformation is tied with the age of the character?
There is nothing specific about that, but I never heard/saw a kid transform, other than that I don’t believe there is any age restriction.
-Is it tied with a spirit that “appeared” to the character, or can they transform at will into any spirit?
The norn will favor that spirit for sure, but if a situation calls for other form a norn won’t hesitate to use it.
-Can the norns transform into other spirits than Bear, Raven, Wolf and Leopard?
I think norns are learning new forms with time, in GW1 they only transformed into the Bear form, but players could get the Bear, Wolf and Raven blessings that could be considered a transformation but w/o the shapeshift, and now there is also the Snow Leopard, so who knows a norn out there was able to attune to other spirit so close that they got able to transform into that form.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
You CAN buy celestial weapons from TP, Shiverstone for example is a celestial lvl 80 exotic mace, a cheap one btw.
I should have been more specific, celestial armor only by craft, weapons you can find some on TP.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Warrior is your class, high defense/HP, high damage, good AoEs with physical damage and easy to play.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
1. Condition duration
3. Daze/stun duration
A: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Condition_Duration
2. Boon duration
A: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Boon_Duration
Is there a max cap? What is the max cap? Are they rounded to the nearest whole number? Are they rounded up or down?
From the answer 1: “Conditions which stack duration have a cap at 9 stacks, meaning that the duration for the condition will only be increased by the first 9 sources that apply it,”
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I think God is just someone or something a group choose to follow as a role model.
For the humans the 6 Gods are the entities that brought them to Tyria, the Flame Legion used the Titans as Gods, the Norns have the spirits of the nature as Gods and so on, that doesn’t mean that a Gods need to be the ultimate power.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I’m using my glory boosters at PvP, leveling my 7th toon to 80, getting some WxP in my engineer and also making a new set for her, crafting an ascended armor for my ranger, doing the dailies, working in my dungeon master.
It is good that there is a break in the LS, I have so much to do and so little time, at least now I can focus in some stuff, mainly the leveling of my ele.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
There are some areas of map that have nothing in it, like the Griffonrook Run area, besides the JP itself, there is nothing there but counts towards the Shiverpeaks Explorer.
Check this: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shiverpeaks
Click in the Explorable zones to see where you probably missed a part of the map.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
The laurel and ectos are rings, while the only laurel are amulet and earrings, they aren’t better, just other gear slot.
Exotic celestial gear you can craft or find on the TP, but some of the weapons don’t have “celestial” on the name.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
WvW, Fractals, Dungeons, craft a Legendary …
I’m lvl 80 since the 1st month of the game, and I’m still not bored, I personally like the Personal Story, so I’m leveling my 7th soon-to-be lvl 80, each player do what you feel like doing.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I crafted 6 lesser vision and I just noticed my mistake reading this topic :P
Oh well, 20 less skill point and a few ascended materials.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
In lower level areas I can solo with easy any group event.
Looks like you don’t like exploring at all, if all that matter is getting the best current equip then yeah, you can keep at QD champ train till lvl 80.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
I don’t think it would be worth, if you go in WvW for example, there is a big chance that you’ll get some buff in your precision, making you get that next 1% while your original extra precision is now useless, but more power is always more power.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Yes, it is technically illegal, but there is not a way to check it, and it won’t really give and advantage, just a better quality of life.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Actually from lvl 20 you pick the order you want to join and then the sub-race to study, but it is like Donari said, your choices only matter for the first 20 lvls, the drunk one is by far the most amusing, and imo the more interesting quests, you can even end using a Charr tank in that path
