No need to turn things in an ugly direction. Pretty sure everyone in the game wants guild halls, including the devs themselves. Why it has taken so much time (my opinion) is they want to do it correctly and properly in true Guild Wars style. Having a CDI about something is a positive sign to me.

They have said they want to try and find a way to add it into the journal, but there is no timetable for doing it, and probably not real high on the priority list. You should watch youtube or look at a website then play Season 2.

Ruby Oricalchum Mining Pick 15% of ruby depending on tier of node.
Sickle of Bountiful Harvest – chance of extra forage materials
Sharpened axe of the Lumberjack – chance of getting planks rather than logs.

Personally, I have a fair few issues, but I’m mostly pleased. That is to say, considering this is a game which I buy optional feel-good content for instead of having to pay a monthly fee, I am very much getting my money’s worth.

My issues:

• Very slow dev speed. That’s also why expansion just doesn’t hype me, at the speed the devs work on balance, issues, fixed and living story, an expansion would take 3+ years to develop for content you’d see in a X.2 patch in WoW, pretty much. I am not sure what causes this, all old people who knew the engine left, talent is fluctuating constantly, bad management, bad systems, no proper pipeline, I don’t know. Anyone’s guess.
• Alternatively, communication is terrible. If the team is actually motoring and an xpack with a full class-rework of all skills has been in the making for 2,5 years, then why would we not hear about it? Why not build more hype? Sell your product!
• No consume all / use all / uncrate all. I cannot truly believe anyone at ANet plays this game and isn’t annoyed by this.
• Similar to that, everything is in bags, crated, boxes. Why? Why not just give me the items directly and save me a few mouses. I got through two G500s and currently working through a G502 with this game, so far. :S
• No real effort put into WvW. We need map changes, map evolution, adapting battlefields, better balance for large scale battles, better siege integration, anything.

On the other hand, I enjoy the game a whole lot, even if the above may not make it sound like it. It’s awesome.

Couldn’t be less interested in a dark knight/shadow knight/whatever knight class if I tried. In case you hadn’t noticed the Guild Wars franchise uses one word titles for its PROFESSIONS.

I care about PVE.
I care about WVW.
I care about PVP.
I am a Guild Wars 2 player.

Overall with the game I am satisfied, it has easily been worth what I paid for it entertainment wise and then some.
Some decisions I don’t care for others I do, such is life. I look forward to the patch tomorrow and PAX later this month.

I find it really annoying that one of the picks is better than the rest in game; they really should have been all cosmetic. And the sprockets are kinda significant. But yea, I got the watchwork and won’t bother with the others.

It is extra annoying to those of us who bought the molten picks back in the day and then the watchwork ones came out and was basically a big screw you.

I was able to convert 147 gold to 1000 gems. Should I get the molten mining pick for the nice lava effect? Or should I get the watchwork mining pick for the sprockets that sell for over 3 silver each? I can also get neither if you have a valid reason for that.

Without a doubt the Watchwork, love it.
It has nice effects besides the sprockets.

What about the mechanic do you like? In what way does having to charge Quartz Crystals at the limit of one per day improve the game?

I like taking an item to a place and “charging” it to make it into a different, more powerful item. The scavenger hunts like that are something I have enjoyed since GW1.

In my opinion the reason it is gated is so the the credit card people don’t go buy them all up and corner the market, same with other gated materials.

Hopefully they realize that separate guild instances do nothing but break people up and make large towns irrelevant. My vote would be for nothing at all, at worst have them with no amenities. Guild chat, message boards and some improvements to the guild system are more than enough to arrange guild stuff.

Almost certain this is one of the reasons why they haven’t been implemented yet.

Even though I’m not ‘allowed’ to leave feedback about the OP’s OP, I’m just going to say that it truly is quite easy to stand in a Ruin for a few seconds.

The worst that can happen is getting defeated (which is unlikely), but there is no Waypoint costs or Armor Repair costs, so one loses little but the 2 minutes travel-time.

Also, I’ve not found one (only) Fractal to take 2 to 4 hours, (except maybe the Dredge one), but that’s just me.

I haven’t tried getting/crafting those yet, but I agree comparatively they do seem pretty expensive there.

Why would people want to communicate when sometimes all they get are temper tantrums and diaper creme style posts. “I am leaving if you don’t do x”, or “I am never gonna tell my friends about this game if you don’t change y” Who would want to share there ideas and plans with people that threaten, mock and all that kind of stuff?

I have seen anime that has that concept (Erza Scarlet’s Adamantine Armor) but not so sure with video games. I was also thinking that the shield can be used like giant boomerangs or frisbees.

I want to be known as a GW2 player, I enjoy all facets of this great game. I get so tired of trolls, and full time complainers. There is way more to do on this forum than gripe and threaten.

that’s fine with me, fortunately it was a general statement. and you’re right, there’s more than enough griping, however this is kind of a subject i’ve recently dealt with. i had to do pve world completion for my frostfang, so it kind of irks me when people complain about doing wvw map completion like it’s on anywhere near the scale of pve map completion.

Wasn’t aimed at you, seems we are in agreement anyhow. It is difficult to get world completion sometimes, but by no means impossible. When I was doing mine for the first time (out of 3 now) when all I had left were the WvW objectives, it made it like a whole new game for me, and I enjoyed it unlike some around here. It added value to my game instead of giving me something to complain about.

I haven’t even found a single carapace armor box. So far, other than that one exotic, the bandits chests have yielded nothing but junk.

Hehe, of course I will keep trying. I have been running the Silverwastes for several weeks now with no valuable rewards… so hopefully something good will pop up soon. I am beginning to become jealous of all the players that are constantly spamming their loot in map chat. :P

Make sure you have Perseverance at 5 and some magic find boosters or food or both active before you begin to open chests, it really does make a difference. Good luck!

You know what? since people are so upset on getting AP and rewards, I agree. You log in, get 10 AP and the prize. The other stuff is allll optional. Everyone is happy.

Hey OP, you are not chained by a sub fee. Play if you want. Don’t play if you don’t want. If you truly don’t have a reason to come back then don’t. The game will still be here a year from now in case you decide to check things out again. It’s all up to you.
