Can only imagine yourself, and loads of mesmer portals.
Isn’t that the goal of life? Whoever has the most when they die wins?
Except the one who has the most kills is most likely to be disliked in life than in game.

You are not a gamer of any sort, are you?
Because progression is something that has existed in every expansion ever in every MMORPG there is.
I didn’t have all my spells and skills in World of Warcraft when I levelled in the new expansions.
I got them as I gradually levelled up.
They already have a higher base toughness, but it really limits us since we always have to go with vitality one way or the other.
An increase can happen, but maybe not to warrior level.

Not sure if troll or serious…
Some people started to write goodbye posts on the server forums, and that they were jumping over to other servers (like Desolation/Far Shiverpeaks) and people started to call them bandwagoners since SFR just lost to them.
We don’t really have active commanders at all times anymore, plus that people are doing expansion content now, so SFR is a sinking ship.
Maybe it’s time for the seafarers to get their rest.
^ add trapper runes to that (despite being nerfed) and throw in 2 more traps and you got a troll/scout build in WvW.
Only 1 trap is instant, every other trap got a cast time.
I’m having issues with the auto attack on hammer tbh. The weapon is a nice controll weapon but that’s about it. In PvE I almost never see any guardian running hammer and it’s kinda sad.
Hammer is good for sustained DPS if you got the zeal traits.
Hammer is a good weapon and certainly is up there in the meta for fractals.
Dragon’s Maw really destroys that bar.
If not, you actually can add a spirit weapon–the hammer more or less–and use its activated effect to break the bar. It’s really, really good for that.
The F1 skill for dragonhunter that pulls in destroys some of the bar too, and since I play with shield too I got shield of absorption.
Banish on hammer breaks the bar a great deal too.
I don’t have any problems at all breaking bars.

The way you can just create the revenant as any race, to then just be put in the starter zones in the past is unacceptable.
The game’s lore and story gets borked so, so much, and we get stuck in these weird and unexplainable time bubbles.
Why give us a profession that only Rytlock knows the magic about? He too refuses to answer questions and here we have the player character as a revenant too?
It really isn’t acceptable to do it like this.
Seeing the load screen for Dragon’s Stand I actually thought you would see Mordremoth’s head towards the sea, like him being a giganormous turtle kind of dragon with the jungle being his body. But nope…
That head exists nowhere.
(IB4 people comment final meta even fight in the zone)
I went 3-4 games without having trouble to kill a single soul?
Just like how I can do that, and then lose horribly 3 – 4 games because you play against people who can actually play the game.
You seem to misunderstand. Even if I win or not is not the case. The pvp in this game is purely on teamwork, one man carrying whole team a lone is possible. The thing you’re missing is how easy it is to play a Dragonhunter, to deal so much damage with so LITTLE effort compared to all other classes. I went back to my warrior and felt the huge gap between a warrior and a dragonhunter. Because you face good or bad players doesn’t mean anythin, the damage being dealt by Dragonhunter is there, wether you want it or not.
I do want that damage though.
Not my fault for people running into or standing in kitten when I attack.
Retreating is a valid tactic and people can actually defeat others with it. Waiting for cooldowns and endurance to recharge.
The ones dying are the ones constantly trying to be in your face and keeps standing in kitten.
I’d like some explanations of what people want.
Let’s say the desert borderlands won’t go away (they really won’t since it’s a completely new map) so what changes would you like to it?
List please.

Especially for Dragonhunter.
The more I read the forums, there’s more and more people who can’t even seem to handle Dragonhunter at all, despite the glaring weaknesses.
Virtues got cast time, can easily be interrupted. Traps can be dodged very easily or completely ignored if you fight at range. The longbow attacks are slow and too easily dodged.
Despite the massive critique it was given when it was revealed–and to be honest I still don’t quite like the name–it really is a game changer spec for guardian and Karl did well on it. Reaper and dragonhunter seems to be the only specs that made a game changer for the two professions.
What could we see next if this trend keeps going? Longbow damage nerf? Another trap butchering? Virtue “tweaking” or such? A big trait nerf?
It’s been going down a lot lately. I started on Gunnar’s Hold and transfered to SFR just before Halloween. I wasn’t a big WvW junkie back then, I was learning it and used to scout towers every now and then. Joined Hjerim and the guild Winters Talon.
I did join the server team speak every now and then but it was filled with the most pompous kittens I’ve ever heard that couldn’t even hold a discussion going before they started to yell “F-you” and whatnot, dropping the discussion entirely.
Still great fun though, but we had loads of good people too that were worthy to follow.
Dragonhunter has become the profession check for PvPers. Do you die by the dragonhunter’s traps? Get good.
I was thinking, since the Revenant is being retroactively added to the game, then why is Rox treating it like it’s something new? Narrative-wise would it not have made more sense for them to act like the Revenant has always been a thing and just have her act to the fact that he is invoking Glint since that would , timewise, be something new a related to the story? It would make more sense than having a Revenant as the leader of the group from vanilla all the way to HoT and then act like it’s a whole new thing. Could it be that Rox is just mentally disabled and Frostbite is her disability pet?
It’s just ArenaNet being quite horrible with their writing here, and it shows that they aren’t really caring anymore about their old world and won’t update it accordingly.
Instead we are getting stuck in these weird time bubbles with things just mixing each other badly.
It’s a Wintersday skin, not Halloween.

Is how you make it. Without any space inside the brackets of course.
Valor, Virtues, Dragonhunter.
Sword & Shield / Longbow
Litany of Wrath, Judge’s Intervention, Procession of Blades, Test of Faith, Renewed Focus (or “Feel My Wrath!”)
Sanctum Scramble in Tarir gives no reward when you get into the finish line. It just shows the chests and what time, but doesn’t give you anything.
I like Logan the most.
He and Rytlock are both very real characters, written well.

Thanks,
Mixed feelings.
The story was executed well, I liked it a lot. It could feel rushed at times, but given the explanation from a red poster that they tried to create a sense of urgency, I’ll buy it.
The idea of Mordremoth being the whole jungle itself—actually that big—is very cool to imagine. But of course, having a creatures that large will complicate things if you want to show it in the game, and I was pretty much ready for it that we wouldn’t actually see Mordremoth himself in that sense.
The last story step was fun to do, with things to do in the fight.
There is of course the map event in Dragon’s Stand map, where you fight a Mouth of Mordremoth, and that thing is huge, like a very huge serpent that kind of looks like that shadow of Modremoth in the story instance.
But I agree that I would have liked a somewhat more closure on the ending. Is Logan okay? Zojja? Nothing about the Pale Tree?
This is an absolute load of crap and is not true. We have done this with a group of 10 people and it is next to impossible. The event does not scale down at all. And with the number of players you cannot accomplish the goal. This is not meant for small guilds and this needs to be addressed. If 10 people cannot do this due to the 3 minute time frame then I can only imagine the trouble others are going through. From what ive seen the minimum amount of people you seem to need is 20-30 for it to be doable in Gilded Hallow.
Our guild claimed Lost P. and we were only 8.
We didn’t have any trouble at all.
Not sure about Gilded H. though.
It’s buggy but you can manage to do it if you restart it, and walk up to the spots slowly and interacting with the spot after a couple of seconds.
It’s not even a guild. It’s just a glorified party.
The revenant is similar to guardian, but a little bit better at everything.
You won’t be seeing me in “the Jungle” since I’m locked out. I’m not spending another dime on this game. I’m seriously considering deleting my account. No wonder they wanted us to pre-pay. ’Sure would not have paid for a locked portal.

It costs 60 to unlock it.
The 400 cost is to get ALL of it.
What’s the point of giving you all of it when you need something to progress with? It’s an MMORPG, you’re bound to grind and work towards your rewards.
It’s not even a guild. It’s just a glorified party.
I hope ArenaNet are standing their ground. I have no clue what people are doing to not be able to unlock things, are they just staring at the screen? Not even touching the keyboard and grunt every now and then when a silver platter doesn’t appear before them?
I play sloppily slow. I’ve been farting about and just explored things, looking at things close and died so many time for trying certain things. Unlocking anything is not even a problem.
I just hope that I will be able to experience THIS, as it should be, before ArenaNet nerfs it, IF they nerf it.
The death of Eir I kind of saw coming, but it still had me surprised. I was even more surprised how Faolain was killed as well, not to talk about the twisted monster she came back as. What put me off a bit was how our characters kind of ignored Caithe at the moment we got the egg, but I suppose it was in the heat of the moment thing and you had to run. I currently saw the vision the egg gave me… And haven’t continued since then. Please, spoil to me, IS LOGAN OKAY? I love his character and want him around still!
Many kudos to the writing team and how it was executed in game with our characters speaking.
Unequip and equip it again. Then speak to the scout.
Can I have your items and gold?

I hope I can do the original content like it was released before it gets nerfed because of all the whining.
Love your guts.
Especially compared to these hero point complainers that want it all on a silver platter.

@ Gaile Gray…
Maybe if you had to grind FOUR HUNNY hero points you wouldn’t be so sassy …but she does have to ‘grind’ them, just like everyone else.
And being with ArenaNet, she probably test played the content over and over again, farming those points way back before we knew about it.

HAhaha the main selling point gated behind a time-gated grinding mastery trackz lolz.
I can’t think of anything else aside from PHUCK ANET LOLZ.No , seriously it is messed up. I personally thought it would be some reasonable amount like idk maybe 40-50 BUT 400 LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL.
Yeah thanks ANET… also do it on EVERY CHARACTER YOU WANT ……
This is what the MMO market has to cater to these days, and it’s scary.
Jesus. All these spoon feeding demanding players.
There were zero damage reductions to true shot…
We are being silly.
I think you did good job Karl. Dragonhunter feels fine.
I don’t experience this problem at all. The damage is fine–even burning stacks a lot with it.
Glad to hear it.
They have actual flying in WoW, of course (even though, like the idiots they really can be, they tried to remove it…).
Kind of hard for me to get very excited about gliding, TBH.
I guess it’s better than nothing.
Because flying itself is just too OP, leaving everything else useless.
With gliding you can’t fly around at will, stay still in the air and just AFK and bypass ALL danger. With gliding you are always descending, and keeps you limited on how long you can stay in the air. You also level it, giving you progression with it.
Flying in WoW was a design mistake, giving you “GM” powers to swim around in the air at will with no consuequences. I can understand Blizzard trying to fix that problem.
