Guild wars 2 combat is more fluid, you have to make them sit through your 100B.

If you’re playing against a GS warrior (low level tournaments/hotjoin) and don’t save one stunbreak/stability for 100B you should not be playing this game.

I think the point you missed is that taking a GS in WvW isn’t even about 100b. GS is a fantastic weapon for mobility. Used correctly it makes you nearly impossible to catch. Used incorrectly the player just becomes rally bait. That applies to pretty much everything though.

General:
Lyssa cooldown increased from 45 to 60sec (this is somewhat a nerf but also for other classes like thief, with this nerf many warrior dont have to get signet master trait and get something else..)

HS from 400 to 350hps, increase active to 4800

When activating endure pain or berserker stance your healing is decreased for 33% during the stance.

Sword: increase raw damage for AA chain on last hit for like 20% (last hit also doesnt add bleeding) and flurry for 15% more raw damage
So sword is more viable in power builds.
Impale: decrease amount of tormet stacks from 5 to 3 or maby 4, its way to good now
Riposte: increase cooldown from 15 to 20 (15 sec CD for range blocking + can be reflect.. and also can do 4x bleeding.. on 15sec is just silly.. )

Axe: remove the extra damage from last hit and increase damage from last 3 hits for 25% (spread the damage)
Dual strike: increase fury duration from 3sec to 8sec

Longbow: increase casttime for pin down from 1/4 to 1/2
BUT! if they do this they should also decrease casttime of dual shot.. and i would be happy with it

Hammer: OK

GS: increase AA damage and do something about rush make it a kitten leap and decrease its distance to 900 or something..

Rifle: make rifle butt hit better.. it miss allot

Mace: incease vuln stacks from 4 to 8 on crushing blow

Warhorn: Call to arms, add another boon like fury or something.. just 1 vigor and 6sec weakness without any damage on 20sec cooldown issnt that good for a weapon skill.

Thick skin trait: make it + 150 armor above 75% health, 100 above 90% is just 1 hit and only 3% less damage.

So in total: we get some better weapon skills (mostly for power builds)
Slighty less damage for condi builds, but they are already very very good..
Small decrease in healing (you wont see much diffference, but stops the QQ about it i hope :-P ), also there is a more counter when using 2 of the stances because you get 33% less health.. its not gamebreaking, but i think this adds some counter to it.
Just like frenzy..

Seriously condition warriors are a bad joke compared to necro or engie.Anyone loosing to a condi warrior especially in this condi spam meta (bcuz no excuse to not gave maximized for condi clear in this meta) should feel terrible about themselves.

If you can’t deal with a condi warrior than what are you going to do against a necro, engie mesmer ranger?

The other day in WvW there was a warrior with longbow wrecking people and he was laying down stacks of torment.

He was kiting me and i could not chase him without my health going down fast and he kept reapplying torment so it was hard to keep it removed…

The guy was pretty kitten good but i was surprised at how much damage he was doing and how often he was stacking up torment, i guess he had high crit (?)

Are sigils and runes of torment that good? I would have liked to see his build and gear.

Anyone have comments/opinions to share regarding warrior using torment?

This is what I used to use. I’m not sure if it still works as well. I just browse the forums mostly. You can see if it’s what you might be looking for though.

Oh and to people thinking warrior condi damage is op, they are wrong. It’s just how stat allocation works in this game that creates the problem.

Consider in order to build traditional dps you need power, precision, crit damage. Now you can deal a ton of damage,but you have low survival. With condi builds you can build straight damage, while building toughness/vitality. If they changed stat allocation so that (example) crit damage was a portion of power, then things like power/precision/toughness or power/precision/vitality would allow traditional dps to do similar. That won’t really happen though. They tried to do this with allowing gems/runes/ascended gear.

I would mostly just defend. I could usually go 3v1 and kill 1 or 2 if they didn’t run away. For roaming I would change it up.

They should make it possible to cancel leap skills in the chain before they’re finished and we’re good to go.
And they could improve the traits while they’re at it.

It’s one of the problems that GW2 seems to suffer from. Animation canceling is very effective in many games. There are problems with it in gw2. It’s similar to canceling your own skill when starting an animation in order to bait your opponent.

They should just make dodge interrupt any action the character is currently taking. Mid swing if you dodge you dodge, but you don’t deal damage. Then both groups are happy.

There is not any information on the income of Gw2 versus its expenditures. Which is all you really need to know. The link you provided, is very literally just about all we do not need to know. Almost no one in that thread had a clue about what was going on, yet made post as if they did. Similar to what your doing here.

I come to these forums every once in awhile to laugh at the level of ignorance that is allowed to run rampant here. GW2 was supposed to rival WoW? What a joke, and WoW for that matter isn’t even a shadow on the moba markets.

If some of you BP players are complaining THIS much about YB’s zergs, I hate to see how much you guys will when you go up against SBI and FA….

SBI did outnumber us a lot, but they did not flash build 3+ superior ACs in open field before zerg on zerg.

I’m looking forward to the FA and SBI matchups. We may get stomped by them but we can learn a thing or two.

Are you an idiot? When I lead a zerg and I see 4 Sup ACs in the open field, guess what I do? Move the kitten away, cuz its an open field. If you die to ACs in the open field, please stop playing.

Either you are literally the only 15 man group, or you are just full of kitten. I wish I could see YB do anything other than massive zerg. It would be really great, and probably wouldn’t have tainted my opinion of your server. So far in every single 1v1 it’s been a win, I’ve accumulated over 50 kills, 10 stomps by catching your guys running to the zerg. The absolute worst part is that no one even fights back anymore. Once I’ve caught them and applied 10-15 bleeds they just stop and wait (some f4 ). I don’t stomp the ones that fight, those others are dead.

I wish I could get all three servers to stop being afraid of fights. If you die so what, sure repairs suck but otherwise nothing is lost. Kill, die, have fun.

If you mean the post about the achievements being stupid, I disagree. I think we all understand the reasoning behind the achievements. You are probably talking about the posts where people complain about achievement hunters. They don’t get that the achievements were added to get people into wvw to begin with. Just imagine how bad the numbers would have been without the achievements tied in. That would have ended up putting a stain on the “premier season” of wvw.

This way they get people in, they get big numbers, and the only people who pay for it are the dedicated wvw players. Anet’s made it pretty clear those are not their target audience anyway, so it’s a win win.

Actually I’ve seen SBI restrain from just steam rolling people when they saw someone fighting 1v1. Maybe it’s different now, but if it’s the same SBI I completely expect to enjoy the matchup.

You see coming across people just out fighting, when theyaren’t near an objective, there is no reason to go all 40 v 1 on them. I enjoy fighting, and I will still charge into your big zerg, won’t ever change. The fun of it to me is slamming in with my hammer, or swords and still getting a kill or two before going down.

To be honest I’m one of the very few on bp that even enjoy fighting. Most would rather follow a blue dorito around and pretend that is PvP. It wasn’t always like that btw.

Also just incase it wasn’t clear, I’m just as big of a kitten to my own team. People rage at me because I won’t save them in a 1v1 or something. Nope, if you lose a 1v1 it’s your own kitten fault. Get better, or stick with a zerg.

Also to that engineer today outside of sunny on bp bl, that was fun. I felt bad because the first two times we tried to fight someone interfered. I never stomped you though, those other people did. I let you get the kill on me to make up for it. Great fight out there.

Been gone for the past 7-8 months. Disappointed to come back and see this group stacking, boon stacking nonsense, and huge blobs blobbing around the map.

20v20, or similar, fights are incredible. But too few and far between when most groups I see are 75 players or more.

There was a feature called bloodlust that made you (at least on BLs) split up because there was just so much to be done on the map that commanders had to make strategic choices when playing the map.
Unfortunately, they nerfed this feature to 1 stomp = 1 point no matter how many orbs you have. Consequently, as long as you have 1 and dont plan on denying it to a specific server, no real incentive for capping them.

ANET thinks players do it for the stats which have also been nerfed to 30 – 50 – 60.
And this was about all they did to “break up the zerg”

Then what really happened is one person would go to cap and 20 enemies would show up and stomp them.

We all know the problem. There aren’t enough players to go around, so you have a few servers with massive blobs of enemies. They get to destroy smaller servers because it’s fun for them. Anet pleases the bigger groups who in turn spend more money.

It’s simple. There are no “MAgic Runes” The only thing that would fit in a regen theme is Dolyak. They still probably aren’t as good as Melandru in practice.

Just for fun I ran as close to this build as I could figure out last night. There are 5 sources of regen that can overlap.

1) Healing Signet
2) Mango Pie
3) Adrenal Health
4) Dolyak Runes
5) Banner Regen

I skipped Dolyak runes because I already had Melandru. It was pretty darn funny. I was able to tank the a couple of level 80 Champs in Orr. I tanked the Champion Arena guy in northern Orr for so long that I got bored and had some guildies come kill him.
It is a pretty funny troll build but there isn’t enough damage behind it IMO. It gets a little better if you swap the armor for rabid or carrion.

Swap it for a set of dire. You will get all of your tankiness, plus you will deal good condi damage. Mix that with undead runes, or the ones that give you condi damage from vitality and you end up very very strong.

I love how it’s always BP crying about our numbers and not Ebay. The only time we have more people in WvW than BP is really early in the morning east coast time. We just have commanders that can manage all 4 maps much much better.

AT no point did I “cry” I responded to a post talking about how good you guys are. I agree, it takes quite a bit of skill to 5v1 someone when they have outmanned on their own home bl.

But BP, I totally agree with you! Yup, Yaks Bend is the absolute worst server in GW2. We’re terrible. I mean, look at this map, you see all of that green? We’re horrible!

I hope certain servers find it as funny when they get beat down by massive numbers in the coming weeks. I will probably spend more time trolling those threads than actual wvw.

We all get that this “league” nonsense was just a way of the more populated server beating up the lower populated servers. There is nothing fun about it though. Anet’s logic is so screwed. They kill off spvp, and then tell people to go there if they want fair fights.

Banner buffing discussion

A little late but that sounds like a good change. It’s just the people that want them to become passive buffs, and extremely strong ones considering they would be passive for one utility slot. That can’t happen, that would make banners way too strong.

Right now my banner grants aoe regen, a bonus to two stats that I choose. Imagine how strong that would be for a passive utility slot. How could anyone pass that up?

The regen isn’t that great unless you stack a lot of Compassion, which inevitably comes at the cost of other stats (typically Vitality.) I’d rather have the 20% faster Longbow skills than a piddly little 200 HP/sec regen effect, especially considering how good Poison is at dealing with regeneration.

It works out great on condi bunkers. Dire (condi damage/toughness/vitality) armor/weapons(agony/doom/extra for stacking condi damage), apothecary accessories, runes of undead 10/30/30 or 20/20/30. At least that’s what I use right now. I position myself in a choke point, drop a banner, use my other two utilities for whatever I need (usually stability).

Anyway it’s more a niche build, but considering I’m getting 400 from healing signet plus adrenal health, then yep that extra 200 is pretty huge. I’m sacrificing direct damage sure, but between poison/burning/bleeding/cripple it’s not that big of a sacrifice. I’m not going to claim it’s the “best”, that would be hammer builds, but it’s fun and I can win 2v1s pretty easily.

With my current build I regen roughly 744 health per second, 3081 armor, 25k health, 1584 condi damage. I could switch it to a 10/30/30 but I don’t really feel the extra tankiness would help. Anyone that does currently run something like this please feel free to give me some input.

Oh and the above isn’t including whatever bonuses I get from the banner.

Banner buffing discussion

Either way, the idea is to make banners a little less of a pain in the kitten to micromanage without making them too good.

All you need for that is the ability to pick them up without stopping. Be that instant or on the move, that one change makes banners far easier to move for warriors or their friends alike. People without AoE swiftness will pick them up when moving as a group, people without a blast finisher will happily tote them to a stacking point, in general they become appealing beyond their basic buff function.

As mentioned in my earlier post, however, if they become an instant pickup (as would be preferred), they then become too strong as a blast finisher, which is why I suggest that functionality is removed from #5 and placed on the burst skill, where it is limited naturally by adrenaline production and cooldown.

Ah yes the [DAOC] healing warrior. This person posted a while back touting warrior as the best Healing-per-second character in the game back in oh… March. Gotten even more confrontational if the video comments are to be believed.

Unfortunately when my server fought YB in wvw I was never able to track down this healing warrior in particular, though the [DAOC] guildies that I did run into fell easily enough. That said unless the video they had back in march is much changed, the player isn’t much of a threat offensively and hardly “unkillable”

Sorry I’m sort of new to this thread, but it seems there are so many mistakes being made with terminology. There is regen (or regeneration) which is a boon, some people don’t know this but there are forms of healing over time that aren’t regeneration. Take for example Troll Unguent, the text says

You and your pet regenerate health over time.

But this is not the boon, and can stack with the boon. Mango pie is another example.

Then there is “healing” that just heals for a flat amount, this can be aoe “healing” or aoe “regen”.

I know that might seem silly, I’m just curious about the “build”. Currently I run a condi damage build with medium healing power in order to be “unkillable” (that’s a joke, no one is unkillable unless it’s glitched). Right now I run a 10/30/30 or 20/20/30 build, and I’m curious if I could somehow incorporate this into the setup I use.

Like so, so, so much in this game, he just need to scale better. A large zerg can demolish him, so an overall nerf or increase in rewards is not the answer.

Yeah, it’s amazing that with a large enough group he drops so fast. With small groups you can’t kill him.

I wish they could get the scaling right so that he’s a fun, but challenging, opponent with both sizes.

Maybe limit the projectiles to a maximum ratio of the people in his radius, also his hp/damage scale based on people. That way small groups will have a challenge, but relatively a similar challenge to the difficulty a large group would face.

Of course after more than a year of people asking for this I think we’ve all given up.

I wish that they would have mad the lab permanent. Actually the Mad King instance would be perfect for me. They don’t even have to give me loot for it. I would do it as a solo instance just for the atmosphere. Last year was so great.

While I do agree on the RNG and the completely insane requirements for crafting, I think you are just upset you can’t get any of the stuff from last year.

So explain people like me with every achievement/weapons we wanted feeling the same way.

Halloween has always been the big event for me in GW. This just doesn’t feel the same.

I’m confused about this. I was hit for 23,735 with life siphon. It almost one shot me. It said it was life siphon, but is this some one shot mechanic I’m not aware of? I never even saw the thing, just bam and almost my entire life is gone.

Here’s the problem.

Let’s say you have 8 dungeons, fractals, SPvP, and WvW. That’s a whole lot of people NOT in the open world. You could have 1000 people online on a server, and if 200 of them are in WvW and 300 of them are scattered among the other stuff you’d only have 500.

Then you have stuff like the Fire elemental, the Shadow Behemoth the Shatterer. These are places where people gather.

Most servers, for example, have a Queensdale champ train? Why? No idea, really but they do.

At the end of the day, the world really is a big place. I’m not sure how many people you’d have to have to see people all the time.

It seems like this would be easy to solve though. Maybe let players that choose it goto overflow servers by default. They don’t have to title it overflow, but the technology is already there. That way players that want could essentially play with other people even if they are on one of the less populated servers.

Of course that might also hurt on transfer payments too, so it isn’t likely to happen. I think it’s very similar to the “mega server” that ESO will be using.

Hearthstone is pretty fantastic, and far more fun than WoW ever was. At least in my opinion.

It is, however it’s also far more PTW than WoW ever was.

Well there is no arguing that point, because it’s pretty much spot on. I would say that’s a problem with any tcg. MTG on the xbox was pretty close to not being though. That didn’t really allow much freedom in card choice though.

Good day

I am wondering if there is any way of getting Mad Memoires- Complete Edition from my old account to my main one. I did a test with the inferior version of mad memoires on a Soulbound on Use back item, but transmuting it made it soulbound anyway.
Are there any back items that are less than green quality? Is there a way of moving an entire character to a different account, paid or otherwise? Is there some sort of account merge or anything like that?

I don’t really understand. Should I give bad advice to avoid being part of the problem. When giving advice I tend to imagine the person I’m giving it to is a family member. So I try to take certain things into consideration.

First why are they playing an mmo? The only reason I can think of to play an mmo over other games is because of other people playing the game. It’s not because they have more content, or that they have better combat etc.

So if that’s the case then yes I will suggest they play on a server where they have the highest chance of actually encountering other people. Suggesting they play on a lower population server seems entirely counter to the idea behind even giving advice.

If the person was looking for great solo play though I would suggest other games instead. If they wanted to play alone but still enjoyed the fantasy genre I would suggest something like skyrim, or dark souls/demon’s souls. If they wanted a more modern sort of rpg I would say something like gta v. Historical? AC3 is awesome. In my opinion it’s a great game, and I had so much fun playing it. I went through twice, with all of the dlc. It had so much replay to it, the naval missions alone were just fantastic. The story was good. I love that game. Upcoming games? Well I think Destiny is going to be great, and AC4 is something I’ve been looking forward to because I loved AC3 so much. Watchdogs would also be on that list.

I don’t think giving what I consider good advice to be a problem.

Its incredible for how much you can burst heal with Shouts. Their heal scaling was already one of the best in the game and it just got better.
I’m getting about ~3200 heal per shout now in full clerics.

Yet you are otherwise 100% useless. Compare to say, Guardian, which can do 2000 heal per dodge every 5s and provide lots of utility in addition to the other heal sources they give like regen, symbols, virtue of resolve, staff empower, etc.

Cleric warrior, lulz.

Yeah but you don’t need full cleric. You can go condi damage/healing power too.

Due to TL (Team Legacy) and Ruinous Gaming Community alliance. That’s pretty much 90% of the server since those are some huge communities that have been around for quite some time

that is MASSIVE bullkitten, TL ditched the server over 13 months ago and most of their cronies followed, never even heard of this “Ruinous Gaming Community”.

no matter, the point was that my server is not empty, and neither are the vast majority of servers, be they above T2 or below.

I think anyone can agree that saying the servers are empty is an over exaggeration. However if you think there are many players there you are wrong. Having guested to nsp myself a few times, I can say you guys have way more population than your tier shows. It’s like night and day compared to many of the servers. Even then compared to any in the top 3 it’s just crazy how many people they have. It’s really fun to play on those servers. There’s always someone around. That would just go back to the “pick one of the top 3”, which was accurate. If you were a new player I would say go there.

The lower servers are losing population. Now that might be people moving to the top tiers, or it might be people just quitting. I suspect it’s a bit of both. If it is then the top is still the best choice because on those it’s a greater cushion against people leaving, and the transfers will be coming to your server instead of leaving.

Now to answer the thread: most probably.

I love my consoles, have ever since I first got an atari as a child. I took it apart later when it stopped working. Then I moved to the nintendo, ohh yeah now we are talking. I had so much fun with mario.

Not sure why, consoles have always just been fun. They’ve always been lacking though because I couldn’t find good open world content. It was always follow this and do this. It felt better with mw, then oblivion, and skyrim. With AC4, and Destiny though it looks so good. I think that’s why I’ve always used both pc&console. The pc could give me fun seamless worlds, while I could use the console for minless fun and rpgs that weren’t on the pc. I really love rpgs though, and the new open world stuff coming out just looks so good.

Are you being serious right now? I can’t tell if you’re serious.

Have you been below a T2 server? It’s a ghost town in LA. Go to GoM or DR or any server below a T2 and stand in LA or anywhere for that matter and count how many people you see in an hour. Then go to anything T2 or above and count. You’ll see the vast difference.

There’s more players now than at launch. 2.5 million players log in each week.

Souces would be appreciated. I doubt there’s close to that many. Maybe during the updates, but as said previously, they drop off 2 – 3 days afterwards.

His “source” was a chinese website that had to take the numbers down because they were a lie. This was a pretty big discussion back in August (I think). The numbers now point to facebook likes, and youtube videos and overall sales.

Except some of us went through and provided screen shots of la at prime time on some of those servers.

Of course the real test for the OP is to go join one of those servers. See if you like the population. Personally I am with the guy who suggested the top 3. I’ve had to guest to finish several things now.

OP the deciding factor is that you only get two guests per day. Choose a server with at least the population so you can wisely use those.

If you have a choice you can’t go wrong by picking one of the top three. If you ever feel there are too many people (lol right) you can always guest to any of the other servers for a more solo atmosphere. It’s kind of harder to do it in reverse though.

Obviously it would be better if both happened, new skin+ older skins coming back. The more skins the better, it offers much more variety in the game.

There have been new tiers, a pvp destroying constant cycle of nerfing/buffing has left some professions feeling completely different than they did at launch. Things are account bound now instead of everything being soul bound, with achievements giving more account bound rewards.

Plenty of reasons to bring them back, I haven’t even listed them all. So what’s is the reason not to?

I don’t use Rifle as it is such a sucky weapon atm. Its purpose is to snipe with f1 skill all the upscaled blue geared players in WvW and then film it + post in forums how good it is with their 20k+ dmg crits.

O.k., but you aren’t thinking about what would happen if they made it permanent.

Imagine how many pvp players would play just that. Those people would then stop boring kitten domination games. Now that sounds good so far, but here is the problem. The only thing holding domination afloat at this point is that the pvp players are stuck there. They have no alternative. If you give them an alternative they won’t play domination, then the pve players that like domination will QQ.

Id also like to see poison buffed as an indirect counter to excessive healing/bunkering. Maybe raise the healing reduction to -50% or make poison stack in intensity (but instead if increasing damage, each stack takes off extra healing %, or maybe have condition removals only remove one stack at a time to make it a more difficult condition to cleanse).

Then give poison to every class instead of invisible thieves and durable necro. Specially when it’s on auto attack. Even Engineer has poison. Now give it to Guardian, Mesmer and Warrior too. I don’t want to waste a sigil for low duration poison (sigil of doom).

Actually that’s a great idea. If every profession had access to poison, then they could do whatever with healing because every profession would have at least one way to counter it.

I wish we could pick what skills were put on our weapons. In say a 1 slot for one slot system.

So if I was a warrior with a sword I could pick from the warrior aa, guardian aa, ranger aa, or mesmer aa. Then for the 2 slot it’s the same either the warriors 2 etc. Would allow me to customize much more. I could run with say the warrior AA, guardian 2, ranger 3 for poison.

I know that sounds strange, but I hate the system GW2 went with. I wish it had gone with something more like gw1.

Poison doesn’t really need the buff, they just need to change the coefficients in passive healing. Take healing signet for example.

392 with .05. So at 100 healing power it’s 397. They could lower the base to say 200, then increase the coefficient on it to something like .30. So with 100 healing power you would get 230, 500 you would be back at 350, and at 1k you would have 500 hps.

Under the old setup it would take around 2k healing power to bring you to the 500 mark. It would reward people for actually putting points into healing power.

What I’m confused about is that implies they aren’t really good in PvP. Is that correct? Because if that’s what was implied, it is incorrect. Banners are great in PvP. I can only think of one viable build that doesn’t use them. That would be the hammer/lb build, 0/10/30/0/30. I know it works in the 0/30/20/20/0, better in 0/20/20/30/0 but still.

As a long time pve warrior and recently a wvw warrior I find that outside of pve and battle standard there is little to no incentive for a warrior to waste a skill slot for a banner. And was wondering if there was a 30 point trait which allows the warrior to wear one banner samurai style for the duration of the skill would be interesting. What do my fellow battle brothers thing about this?

I think you meant outside of pvp instead of pve.

I think that would be really OP because it would essentially give the warrior two passive aoe boosts for a gm trait. Right now the passive aoe boosts are considering too powerful in some areas for being what they are. The warrior one is getting moved up a tier for how strong it is. Doubling that would mean that the banner buffs would need to be seriously nerfed (hate that because I love my banners).

No he means outside of pve, in dungeons banner buffs are meta.

Considering warriors are getting a pretty hefty buff to passive healing I really think that’s going to change it. I was discussing this on redit with someone.

Consider Warrior versus Guardian. A warrior has almost double the health of the Guardian, while having high armor values. So what makes guardians good at bunkering versus a warrior? Well if you watch the most recent matches, nothing. Both are excellent at bunker, and they get even stronger when they are matched together. You had warrior/ranger/guardian/mesmer/thief verus thief/ranger/ranger/guardian/necro. The first comp 3-0ed for the final.

To anyone that says warriors can’t mid bunker, they are wrong period. Warriors can, but it requires you to not build kittenzerker. Instead you have to build heavy condi tank support.

I don’t know if this applies in hot join though. I know for a fact that in wvw I can easily kill people 2/3v1. I can do 2v1 duels in spvp running a 0/20/20/30/0 rabbid/carrion rundes of undead sw/sw lb.

About what I said above, that used to be how I played. You can’t do it anymore though. The new bl mechanic killed wvw on most servers. So many quit or transferred. I considered it but then I won’t be around but about another month anyway so it’s not worth the money.

I have actually been running a power-based Sword/Shield + LB build with 0/30/20/0/20 for a while now. Currently trying out 0/30/20/20/0 because of this thread.

30/20/20 is great for condi, and you can switch it for more support by going 20/20/30 if you want. The build will still feel close to the same, while having slightly less damage. It has much more freedom in how you want to spec at any given time.

i knew someone would come with this suggestion… first of all building adrenaline with a decent build is not easy at all, there r a few traits that require 3 bars of adrenaline to work well such as: adrenal health, heightened focus and berserker’s power, so wasting adrenaline has its consequences. but let’s say u don’t need none of them and ur in a battle, what happens if u get blind? exacly u miss and also what happens if simply miss it, thats right ull have to wait for it 10s cooldown again. im not saying this trait is useless cause it isnt but is definetly not going to guaranti u a win agains full condition mesmers or necros maybe other classes yea but not this 2. anyways that was just to answer ur question but MAIN point here is that the “shrug it off” trait should have a boost…. do u agree or not.

We have some of the absolute best ways to deal with the condi meta there is. Just because someone doesn’t want to take advantage of that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. That’s like me running a straight sword/warhorn and then QQing that we have no CC. That’s just silly.

If you get blinded, and it’s pretty easy to notice there is both an icon and a visual, just pop off an aa. Standing in an aoe blind? DODGE ROLL OUT, or walk out.

JSharp made this post detailing some of the balance changes they’ll be putting in on October 15th.

Elsewhere it was mentioned that they’re bringing up the base healing of Vigorous Shouts by 25% and changing the scaling from 0.8 to 0.9.

To me, that looks pretty delicious for a healing shout warhorn warrior, as they will be able to pick up Vigorous Shouts, Quick Breathing and Lung Capacity.

Problem there is it’s going to make a heavy sustain condi bunker much more powerful. Hammer/lb bunker is already really good. I think it’s good to get multiple good builds, but then we will end up like guardians and getting put into the bunker or gtfo boat. That sucks, and I would rather have more diversity than just two good builds that accomplish the same thing.
