I’m usually really sweet… but this an internet forum and you know how it has to be.

They have only said that it will probably not be as late as summer.
Game is emptier lately, although still fairly populated. Alot of people moved to the other newer games that popped up after having a heart attack over the upcoming patch that will completely ruin the game forever and ever (sarcasm).
I wish they would restructure Living Story season 1 into Personal Story 2.0, was kinda hoping they would do this for China release but it looks like they won’t.
The main thing that turns me off about LS is a complete lack of replay value.
You are running a computer with two graphics cards. Most likely the more powerful NVIDIA card is not kicking in like it should be.
This is partly players fault for rolling 1000 Humans and Norns per day. You can’t expect ANet to care about a minority of the player base. :/
People don’t roll Charr because they’re too “alien”. There was a variety of studies done to prove this – players like to roll humanoid races only because they identify with them. This game makes it even worse with the Queensdale champ train.
Its a shame this game doesn’t give any incentive at all to roll an unpopular race, like bonus stats (in PvE only, of course) to draw people to it.
If you think Charr are bad, Asura can’t even see their weapons half the time.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
It was never an issue running AC or similar dungeons with Berserker.
You always have at least 50% Critical damage in every zone, this just isn’t shown yet. Berserker will still be rediculous on every map, capable of kililng mobs in one or two hits. I don’t really see the problem to be honest.
Low level zones are already rediculously easy for lv80s, this is exactly why everyone advertises that you have to be lv80 to run Ascalon Catacombs, etc.
Plus the set and related builds always have maximum possible power, something that is otherwise only possible on Soldiers, Valkyrie or Zealots.
P.S. Zerker is far from the only Critical damage combination.
“Dear ANet, I made a legendary weapon fully knowing that I made a legendary weapon. I had [insert rediculously long time] to think about this. Still I did it anyway. Would you please compensate me now because I deserve it?”
This is all I see from the forums anymore, especially regarding this patch. I’m just going to have to start ignoring half the threads created until the patch is live…
A month from now, nobody will remember or care about any of this.
I miss old Orr. It was brutal and you had to pay attention to your surroundings.
The Orr we have right now is a watered down version already, if it get’s any easier it will feel like a starter zone all over again.
The megaserver thingy will fix the zone for you. All those people on one map will make it doable even if there is no skill involved.
Why does everything that is not doable with just clicking 1, 1 and 1 again gotta be nerfed. When did this mindset, that everything has to be super easy to be enjoyable became the norm in MMOs.
Modern MMO players are spoiled. Look at all these threads over the last year that complain about this game being hard to level in… (lol)
They have no idea how games were in the past, or how they should be.
Asura T2 & T3 cultural armor mix, Glyphic, Mystic or Pact weapons. If you stick with GS you will seem alot less ‘traditional’ than sword/dagger/bow/torch rangers.
As for the reason, it’s simple. in the Asura city of Rata Sum you can see a Moa trainer, and a pen housing several animals. This shows the Asura, like everyone, have a need for animals and that it not shameful to be a Ranger.
Golems can do alot of things, but they are just machines. While they can make good companions ultimately the connection with a pet is a very special one.
Would you rather have a living or non-living companion? I mean to say, would you be okay if all of your dum…er.. less prestigious family members were replaced by golems just because it was more efficient?
Part of being intelligent is understanding bonds.
Being a Ranger doesn’t imply to be a full leather suit dude, like being a Necromancer doesn’t lock you to black & green. You can make out of the Ranger a techno scout. There is a couple of armors which look mordern while being suitable for a Asura Ranger. My main point goes to CoE medium armor which is extremely suited to that : close to body (so the ranger can move easily), with a Hood, thorn style, etc. HotW look a bit more primitive but with the right colors, it can make the deal too.
There is also some bow/shortbow/axe which look really modern, but it doesn’t come to my mind (Asura Engineer here ~).
Premium skins which could make your day : Zodiac medium armor, Aetherblade medium armor.
Don’t forget Magitek medium armor.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
First of all:
Try improving your character.
I’m so totally sure you aren’t using a potion of undead slaying, not to mention any food at all. Maybe even, your gear is lackluster, greens at level 60 when you are 75.
After that, Orr is going to become much more populated after April 15th(theoretically)…I thought gear didn’t matter in this game?
Gear not mattering for an Elementalist? They have almost no base stats. Even with triple stat gear they have a really rough time.. thats why so many go full zerk (might as well do some damage if you’re gonna die in 1 hit) or Celestial.
On-topic: Orr is supposed to be hard. Its the Ruins of Orr. I see no reason that content like this should not require a small party to complete.
That said, the mobs seem to mostly use Toughness (especially Risen Brutes), and Condition damage goes alot farther than full power builds there, at least on Ele. Burning things melts them very quickly and efficiently.
Try not to kill one mob at a time, this leaves you vulnerable to getting ambushed by other mobs that are nearby. Instead, pull them all into a pile and run around in circles using your skills such as Frozen Burst and Updraft to make them run around like headless chickens while you pummel them to death.
Practice by solo escorting the Historian to the Statue of Dwayna. This spawns alot of hard mobs such as a Veteran Risen Subjugator and teaches you how to handle these mobs properly solo as well as keep the historian alive.
I used to have trouble, but now I often start temple runs (pre-events, escorts, etc.) and other events on these maps on my Ele by myself.
Orr is great.
NOTE: Some skill points require two players, one to drag Champion aggro away. The worshiper skill point in Malchor’s Leap is especially brutal.
P.S. Don’t use staff outside of PvP/WvW, it attacks too slow and doesn’t have alot of good offensive spells as its mostly a support/control weapon.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
(^ That human is absolutely stunning.)
Yeah, you don’t have to be an Asura…but it sure is hard to be anyone else. I’ll tell you what’s impossible to make ugly: Sylvari…
Challenge accepted:
Majin Buu, is that you?!
meh you know what just for get my topic .
I’m not sure what you think open world PvP is. I assume you mean that you want everyone to be enemies of each other, with no teams. I guess that is why you don’t like WvW, because everyone zergs and gangs up on you.
But WvW, by design, IS open-world PvP. It is essentially PvE with PvP added in. Just because its on different maps than say, Queensdale, doesn’t change that.
Although I do agree that they overdid it with all the forts and the siege.
You haven’t done the whole map. The hearts are a tiny part of the map. You need to fully explore, do events, gather materials from nodes, craft stuff, everything. The hearts are vestigial sign posts for people in need of classic quest hubs.
If you look at the daily achieves and try to do 5 of them (you can do less, or more), you get a good xp bump for each one plus more for finishing the 5th one. Even low characters can do them. I tend to do them on whatever alt I’m leveling and generally get a lot of a level in a few minutes thanks to those.
Killing mobs that aren’t part of an event or a heart is probably the slowest possible xp source out there, btw. Use them to skill up weapons or to earn credit for other things, but do not expect to see your xp progress just because you killed ten centaurs.
I know I don’t said I do this kind of thing. And when I said that I explore the map, I explore it by doing all the hearts, POI’s, SP & WP, and I did harvest/mine/gather everything in my way, probably not everything, but a lot. And I did this in those two maps that I explored.
So you say I’m in the good way? I should now go to Kassex Hills and explore it, and when I feel that I weak for the hearts just go to another map and start it and than came back? and just every zone that I move to I should explore to the end at least two maps? This is the fastest way to level to 80? and do dungeons in the way?
About crafting I don’t sure, I’m a human ranger which profession do you think I should take? and how I train those crafting effectively? Because I’m sure that I can’t train it effectively with items that I earn from drops and more. And which professions should I take? that will give me money/XP.. or something
Why are you so focused on levelling up instead of enjoying the game?
I am a bit confused because you seem to keep posting about how you can’t level up, even though you will be doing these same things at lv80. This is the game. The only thing that will change at max level is more farming and bosses, and maybe running a dungeon or fractal or two here and there.
If all you want is WvW, you don’t have to wait, you can go do that now and it automatically scales you up to lv80. Same for PvP.
Otherwise, just explore and enjoy it while you can. This game just gives you free experience for everything that you do. But if you really can’t stand the levelling curve anymore, buy XP boosters from gem store or laurel merchant, use +XP foods, get a guild to drop an XP booster guild banner for you, etc.
For ultimate cheap levelling, you can run the Queensdale champ train.
By the way, I think you’re misunderstanding levels. You can participate in zones up to five levels above you if you wear proper gear and play good. If you are dying alot then it means you need to rethink your gameplay, not gain levels.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
The OP is refering to the character selection screen, not the in-game selection model that is exactly the same for all characters and races.
And yes, I agree. Charr are way too big in the selection screen.
You can buy it from the vendors in your main city.
Very few people wear full T3 because of the high costs (~120g for a full set), and it doesn’t usually look the best either. I recommend playing with mixing various tiers and mixing them with order armors and whatnot.
You can usually take away the best parts of cultural T3 apperance without breaking the bank if you know what you are doing.
You get gold as a reward for PvP now, which can be used to buy charges.
i already know about the 1 charge per rank, but 6 pieces of armor is 6 charges every time i want to look different… unless we get charges consistently out of tourney win chests, how would we keep this up?
This is completely false.
You will be able to carry multiple sets of gear the same way PvE/WvW players do, so you only have to transmute once for each unique look that you like, because the stats aren’t even used, you can even use Fine/Masterwork.
Furthermore, you will be able bring in any existing appearance from PvE simply by buying the armors for a few silver off of the TP, and you will be able to gain dungeon skins by playing the respective achivement tracks.
Its going to be even cheaper than it is now to obtain and reuse skins.
The wardrobe only holds your skins, not your armors. You will be able to have as many armors of a unique appearances as you have storage space.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
You would carry multiple sets of gear in your bank/inventory the same way PvE/WvW players have had to do since game release.
Why would you need to transmute more than once?
Not sure about the whole running around in the undercloths, but I don’t see boot conceal harming the game in the least.
Being able to hide armor in battle is silly, yes. But its important in roleplay. I still think it should be everyone’s choice, its an MMO, not a nanny.
People already do it anyway they just accept the armor loss.
The whole point of cultural armor is to eliminate clipping and streetching issues. This is especially important for the Asura and Charr.
It makes no sense on other races because these issues would just return.
Some new announcement of something “big” coming after the feature patch:
http://twitter.com/mmorpgcom/status/454629286360911872
Most likely living story season 2, based upon what we know.
The game doesn’t need new classes (except for a third heavy class for synergy), but it could use some new weapons for existing classes.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
For me in WvW and Lions Arch the Wine version is unplayable. The FPS drops constantly.
Do you have Character Model Limit set to Lowest?
What is your system like?
Are you using a Wine version with the CSMT patches (50-100% more FPS)?
Are your graphics drivers updated?
Do you have NVIDIA threaded optimizations enabled?
There is a stronger difference between Dragon’s claw and Lightning whip than people realize. Lightning whip is a cleave; meaning it behaves like a melee weapon. This is often good when you are surrounded by opponents, but if your opponents are somewhat further apart it will not hit them, while Dragon’s claw will.
On top of this, with glyphs and traits, Dragon’s claw will inflict burning, while Lightning whip will inflict weakness; which while very powerful is not ideal for a build that includes condition damage (like Celestial).
Air is only the highest damaging atunement on certain builds, and the other autoattacks are far from useless and only water is particularly weak, however, it is the best support atunement due to the vulnerablity. In small group skirmishes combining it with allies’ massive attacks (like Maul, 100b, etc.) is devestating.
It also allows you to kite with all of Ele’s plentiful CC on D/D, including the chance to chill opponents when using the respective glyph.
At least that’s my two cents…
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
The Warrior only has higher health regeneration when Healing signet is slotted. Granted, Healing signet is grossly strong, but Guardians have health regeneration from the start of the game, at all times, and can give it to others as well.
Warrior’s Adreanal Health trait… now that’s another story.
If the different weights are different armor pieces in the internal tables (i.e, they have separate preview codes) then they would not be unlocked.
I don’t know how it is for skins that can be applied to any weight. But these seem to just be a single item that works simlar to a transmutation stone or transmutation crystal and thus would be unlocked.
Except that sometimes those traits aren’t of any use. There is a huge amount of garbage traits in this game that are just completely worthless on a given build. So many times I keep cycling through the major traits to find something useful on master tier because I need something from grandmaster tier and the like…
It would be nice if each trait had multiple purposes like skills do. Its hard to find a skill that doesn’t do at least two things so that it remains useful in every situation. Unfortunately they didn’t design traits this way.
You’re going to have a really hard time with this game because it has physical dodging which requires you to dodge in a specific direction often. You might get away with just dodging forward a few times, but YMMV.
That said, I highly respect disabled players and urge you to try. So I would suggest that you play something with alot of range so you can spend most of your time from a safe location, possibly Ranger with the longbow range trait (1500 range).
If you prefer more action, try a shout-based Guardian. This way you can buff allies and the buffs will also help keep you alive even if your control is not good. You can just run around in circles spamming staff #1 to attack, its a huge melee AoE that requires no target selected to use. (Shouts do not interrupt attacking.)
It is so effective that it is often used in PvE where staff is called the “loot stick” due to its ability to hit many opponents with little effort.
The Guardian also has alot of condition cleansing and stun breakers so you will be alot less susceptable to being “rooted” (held in place) by an opponent in PvP, which will allow you to make maximum use of your available control.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
Only PvP and WvW?
World completion, farming (of various kinds), dungeons, fractals, ascended gear, legendaries, minis, wardrobe, living story. And when you’re done with all of that, start a guild, grind out all of the influence and help others do these things to.
And don’t forget to talk to people. Find somewhere, sit down, and talk.
It sounds to me like you want open-world PvP, this is never going to happen. However I agree that duelling in PvE would be nice to have.
There are minigames (activities), but they are mostly PvP. There are also many different jumping puzzles and other similar challenges in the world.
Levelling is extremely fast in this game. You need to explore, as that constitutes the large bulk of your experience gained, not killing monsters or doing hearts. If you stay in one area too long you actually lose the exploration bonus on XP gain.
Just run around, catching very waypoint / POI / vista and gathering resources, and the levels will just fly by and you will hit max level without realizing it. If you are clever you can get away without any combat, hearts or events at all.
There are no arenas, but you can enter PvP or WvW at any time. While roaming you will often encounter 1on1 or small group fights.
As for items, there are many tonics and other items that you can buy off of the TP or for karma that let you change into a creature for a while and roam. Some of these have costume brawl skills that you can fight other players with.
Do the Dive Master achivement if you are bored.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
Achivement points are a measure of play time and overall mixed experience. What this means is not that the player has done any dungeons or anything, but that they can learn. Its signifies a pretty good chance that the player has been playing the game long enough to know how to adapt to a situation with a little advice.
Chances are that if a player has a high amount of AP, and is not completely dumb, one or two runs through a dungeon is all that they need to learn it.
On top of this, when mistakes occur (even pro players make mistakes constantly, its a part of the inefficient Human nature), someone with alot of experience will better understand how to salvage the situation into something useful.
For example, yesterday at Balthazar temple event, we were killing the priest, and the commander there kept saying DPS the priest! because of the timer, but he didn’t realize that he had no DPS because there were 20 players dead around him from the Champion Risen Abomination that everyone was ignoring. If it wasn’t for smart players resurrecting each other, pulling it away and salvaging the situation, they would not have killed the priest with the five players they had left in enough time.
As I have said before, skill isn’t just learning and refining repetitive behaviors, its also benig able to adapt to a changing situation.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
I think that all armors should be hideable. If you want to solve the issue of people running around naked (this really only happens with Humans and Norn…), change the underwear to be something people wouldn’t want to show off.
As an alternative, there’s quite a few boot armors that do not cover the toes at all. These appear more like “sandals” on Asura (covering only the main portion of the foot and not any of the toes including the front toe).
Unfortunately this patch is going to hit all mixed sets hard, not just Celestial. Combinations such as Knight/Valk, Knight/Cavalier, Knight/Ruby, Zerk/PVT, etc. will all suffer because they are based upon using crit dmg to gain damage.
Assassins’s is going to be hit particularly hard. There’s a certain combination of Assassin’s gear and Beryl Orbs/Jewels that gives ~3k attack, >70% crit rate and >100% critcal damage and +5k hp that works well for Thieves/Guards/Eles as a not-so-squishy alternative to Berserker, which might lose alot of effectiveness…
But we’ll see. I think it will depend alot on the build.
Up until now my Warrior has run Celestial in WvW and Zerk in PvE, because of that my Berserker set had a few inconsistencies since I only got it out during the “hard” content (i.e, not stuff like world bosses that people just zerg). But after this update I have a feeling I’m going to have to fix up those inconsistencies and start wearing it through all content…. luckily the wardrobe will make carrying my expensive look over to multiple armor sets possible instead of looking like some hobo.
I really wish they would add build profiles in the traits tab.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
Should not blocking someone hide your status? I remember reading somewhere that it does.
Blocking someone doesn’t hide anything. Setting Invisible mode does.
You two obviously don’t know a real mmorpg grind. This game doesn’t even have one anywhere close to some of the past mmorpgs I have played.
And the ascended “grind” doesn’t even have to be done except for those gear driven peeps that I already talked about.
Even so, the ascended grind here is much less than in other mmorpgs I have played for top gear…….you really have no idea( as ascended gear isn’t enough better than exotic to even justify any sort of grind except for the uber gear driven peeps)If you’re a uber gear driven player, then I truly have no idea why you’re actually even playing this game.
And thanks, Khal and Dark, for proving the major point of my post.
Obviously, as expected, you missed it.
You are completely right. However, I would like to point out, what makes it harsh in this game (despite being rediculously easy in comparison to others) is the overuse of soulbound and account bound items and time gating.
In most games I have played, if you looted or crafted something good, you could sell it if something happened where you don’t need it anymore, etc. You could also give away all of your gear if you re-roll or leave the game. But in Guild Wars 2, there is a heavy focus on the only option being to salvage/trash valueable things that you don’t need, or stuff them into an already overfull bank.
This means that acquiring gear and things like that, is actually alot harder than it seems, because in most games you can trade your old gear for newer gear if you end up having to regear, but in this game, every single time some kind of nerf is made to your set, or your build just isn’t working anymore, or you want to change roles, or anything else, you have to start completely over again.
Even worse is that you need separate gear for separate game modes, which in turn comes back to the same problem. Then there is alt characters…
It goes on and on.
Thanks for responding so fast. As for buying them I have bought 10 of them using all the money I had in the game. I haven’t even started doing dungeons yet because most people are wanting to paid to help out. Headed to Southsun Cove already and have 3 shells already lol but still needs a lot more. Thanks again saved the links that were given.
You may want to focus on harvesting until you have more money. You can make about 20-25g per day by hitting all of the spots listed here:
http://dulfy.net/2012/10/03/gw2-cooking-material-farms/
Kill all mobs between the waypoint and the farm and harvest all resouces that you see, salvage all loots and then sell all crafting materials on the TP.
(Except those you need, of course.)
Some areas will be impossible until you gain some levels, however. But this will also net you alot of experience. You will reach the max level within days.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
We’re all expecting to be able to choose new stats for our obsolete celestial gear next Tuesday… I will certainly not be spending more time in this game re-gearing up.
Not going to happen. The only change is a 6% increase in stats for the set.
I suggested that it get boon duration (to allow Might to make up for lost damage), but the post was semingly ignored just like the rest of the suggestions.
That said, I still feel like it is the best set for Elementalist for mixed PvE/WvW.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
Ravenspirit what server did you choose, I’ll join you I just bought the game myself last night! I am going to play Jade Quarry, hope to see you there!
Welcome to JQ then, you’ll probably see me around at world events. If you need any help feel free to send me a whisper, although I am often AFK.
By the way, the capital city of the game (Lion’s Arch) was recently destroyed so for now you will need to either memorize your racial city to have access to common services such as the Trading Post, Bank, etc. or go to Vigil Keep in Gendarren Fields, which is the temporary replacement for Lion’s Arch.
There is an Asura Gate to Vigil Keep in your racial city. From there you can reach other parts of the world including other starting zones.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
I agree, limit guilds to one per character. That is still plenty, since you can just use alts to gather guild commendations on the weekends or whatever.
This happened to me too, monthly completed at 2/2.
Thanks for the response. ^^
I think we’ll have to wait until jewelling 500 is added. The fact that they labelled the new backpieces as “bags” instead of creating a new category shows that they’re not really interested in tackling anything related to trinkets/backpieces right now.
Another option is to make it pulse from red → orange → yellow and back again.
As an answer to your question, the game is processor-limited on such hardware, so it will have absolutely no problem running the game, because it will depend mostly on your processor and not your graphics card.
Just for reference: Its best not to use best performance/apperance presets.
All of the graphics options have varying effects on the game, and just setting them all to “medium” or “high” doesn’t make sense. For example, low textures is extremely noticeable, but high is not compared to medium.
Just a question to the developers:
Are there any plans for this music to make a comeback in the game at some point? To me it was the most epic piece of music ever composed for the game, and I was sad that it did not return in subsequent events.
Any chance it could get added to an open world boss fight or something?
Edit: Sorry, this should probably be in audio forum.
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
Actually the in-game gears are based upon that concept art. For example, the weapons are the Legionnaire exotic pistols.
The issue is more that the artists aren’t the best at turning concept art into 3D. This can be seen with many things in the living story, especially Taimi’s artwork, where she comes out looking completely differently in game (like a doll), while in the concept art she looks more like a short young woman.
If you look at all the Orr concept art, it looks nothing like the actual buildings.
Any server will do unless you want to be competitive (WvW), in which case the server you chose is very important (some are zergy, others ghost towns).
The server you chose does not matter for PvE for the most part, due to guesting.
Race:
Asura supremacy! But Charr are awesome too. Please, no more Humans or Norns, they game is heavily overpopulated with them as it is. xD
Class:
Well… the character creation screen gives you a pretty big primer on it, but good starting classes are the heavies (Warrior & Guardian).
Every class can be melee or ranged and there is no Holy Trinity.
Lets look at what they’ve done for hardcore players:
- Guild missions
- 24 dungeon paths (not counting story, since that is casual)
- Three world bosses + one dedicated world boss upate
- Two updates dedicated to fractals
- Many fractals offering content not available in open-world (e.g agony mechanics)
- Ascended gear tier
- New agony resist infusions
- WvW map updates + a new WvW map to solve queues
- WvW seasonal rewards
- Rewards for grinding achievment pointsLets take a look at what they’ve done for casual players:
- ??
- Living Story? It could be argued that many of these can be unlocked or participated in by casual players, however casual players are not the focus, as some of them have insane time and/or money requirements to reach.
Guild missions are really easy with your guild. Every week we get newbies in our runs and every week we still get the same people that don’t know what to do. But everyone is still able to do it.
Dungeons are really casual and most can be done in about 15 minutes or so. Sure, you will need a bit of practice to get better at it, but it’s still really casual.
The 3 World bosses are just massive zergs. There’s nothing hardcore about it, just a massive zergfest with spamming damage.
Fractals are longer than dungeons, but really easy until level ~30. But since the rewards are mostly not worth it and the dredge fractal is way too annoying above that level, I don’t run ‘em anymore. Not worth it risk VS reward. It could be one kind of hardcore content, but it’s totally not well balanced.
Agony mechanic is crap and is not necessary. There’s nothing hardcore about it, just a grindfest.
Ascended are obtainable by crafting. Everyone can do it, you just gotta go out in the world, do content and mine. Grab that wood and ore and craft. Everyone can do it. Even if it takes me 36 days to obtain my Light armor set, that’s not hardcore, it’s casual.
WvW is far from hardcore content. I know plenty of new players and even players with not a single level 80 who loves and do WvW. WvW is casual. Sure, you can get organized and play more hardcore with guilds, but you can join solo and just follow the commander. I think that’s pretty casual
Achievements are just grindfest. Only people with time to waste will try to fill it as fast as possible. It’s not worth the time imo.
What REAL hardcore content do we have? NONE. Guild Wars 2 is too casual. We don’t have raids, we don’t have 8+ man dungeons. We don’t have Hard Mode (like in Guild Wars 1). We don’t have FoW, UW, SF, etc. just like in GW1. Those were the good days. And that’s why I’m playing GW1 again, because GW2 is just too casual for me.
Raids are only hard core until you figure them out. They they go on farm. Anyone who’s raided knows this. You gear up, old raids become meaningless.
Exactly the dungeons in the game. At one point some of them were challenging. People figure out how to beat them. I don’t see people running that way through the new TA path as one example. It’s certainly hard core compared to other dungeons.
Hard core means you haven’t figured out how to beat it yet.
Perhaps existing content could be made more hardcore by adding randomness and unpredictability so that this doesn’t happen. Skill is more than just refining your behaviors, gear and setup, its also adapting to a changing situation.
As far as I know, nearly every single fight in this game is scripted. I don’t recall any fight that changed dramatically from one encounter to the next.
The speedrunners would hate it, however. :P
(edited by Hannelore.8153)
It will only affect rewards chests for PvP, not PvE.
They will be left in the game. You will still be able to purchase them with Laurels too.
Don’t expect them to be worth much in the long run though. They will be quickly overtaken by craftable dyes, which at least let people chose the hue. The unidentified dyes are only prized for their chance to give a rare.
