Now, this is my first time using this forum, so I’d like to start off by apologizing if this thread is in the completely wrong place.
As for the topic itself, I recently noticed on my thief, who uses dual wield pistols and dual daggers, that said weapons float away from her body now, as opposed to being relatively attached to her. After some experimenting, I found out that it’s the leather coat she’s wearing that makes this happen, but I distinctly remember this not being a problem earlier.
I’m led to believe that a recent game update caused this to happen, and was wondering if it’s possible at all for the pistols to return to their old positions with the leather coat equipped, as opposed to floating away from the player model. I know this is nit-picky, but it’s the details like that which I tend to notice most often. :P
Hopin’ this gets “fixed” soon, but if not… C’est la vie, I guess. Post if you agree with me, or if you don’t, either way is fine!

Ok did what you said and I don’t see a log file .. I see ArenaNet text doc, GW2 text doc, local.dat file, and verify results text document. I added the -log as explained above but didn’t work?
I’m sorry, I should have explained that a bit better. I’ve clarified the instructions, but basically the GW2 text doc is the .log file.

Hey everyone,
We’re sorry to hear that some of you are still experiencing this bug! We added some additional data gathering code to the -log command line argument in the last patch that should help us to further hone in on this issue for those of you that are still experiencing it.
If you are experiencing infinite or long loading screens that last for around two minutes, please follow the instructions below and reply with the results as an attachment. Thank you for your help in tracking this down!
1. Create a shortcut to your Gw2.exe file
2. Right-click the shortcut, and at the end of the command line, add -log (see the attached image for an example)
3. Launch the client
4. If you run into the loading screen bug, close the client and navigate to your Documents>Guild Wars 2 folder
5. Reply to this thread with the GW2.log file as an attachment.
NOTE: DO NOT restart the client as it will erase the contents of the .log file.

Please post them in this thread if you come across any sort of bug that fits in the following categories:
- Stuck in the terrain or a prop
- Textural/graphical issues with the environment or world props
- Terrain or world props disappearing/flickering
- Anything else that you feel might be an art bug
General Guidelines:
- Take a screenshot with your mouse hovering over the minimap while it’s zoomed all the way in so we can see the sector name. Make sure your screenshot has a clear view of the issue too!
- If you got stuck, please describe to us what you were doing before hand, along with a screenshot (this includes listing any skill you may have used upon being pushed inside the terrain).
- If you can, open up the screenshot in a picture editor (like MS Paint) and circle or point to the issue.
- If the world or large areas of land appear to “pop” in and out or “flicker,” please be sure that you are facing the appropriate direction in your screenshot and follow the screenshot directions.

- Be as descriptive as possible

Please post them in this thread if you come across any sort of bug that fits in the following categories:
- Armor/clothing art issues (textures, placement, clipping…)
- Weapon art issues (textures, placement, effects, clipping…)
- Character model issues (textures, effects…)
General Guidelines:
-Take a screenshot of the issue
-Take a screenshot of your equipment on the Hero Panel (H)
- List your Race, Sex and Class
- Be as descriptive as possible
-Take a screenshot
—If the issue relates to clothing/armor/weapons—
- List the names of every piece of armor/clothing/weapon equipped (this includes the level requirement) when you encountered the issue
- If you can, list where you acquired the item (which NPC, what map location, which dungeon, etc…)
Note on clipping issues: While we understand the desire to have all clipping issues resolved, the way our items are designed sometimes causes some small issues that cannot be fixed easily. We’re looking for severe clipping (like your shield is impaling you or your daggers are completely hidden by your coat.) Things like hair clipping or minor clipping of weapons into armor are sometimes unavoidable.
Please attach the screenshots to your forum post rather than hosting it elsewhere.

Have you switched map? I believe the achievement wants you to earn the XP in one map w/o dying, moving maps, logging out, etc.
That’s probably why yeah. But then again the achievement should tell us this, it only says 500k xp without dying. It should tell us that we can’t log out and switch map etc…
It’s a bug that it resets when you log out/zone/etc. (^-^;)

I have seen the endless loading screen every night that I have played since the last patch. It has happened on everyone of my characters, even the new ones I have created. Depending on how many times I need to re-spawn, I rarely make it all the way through a match because of this. It has made me look to other games for the time being, so I just hopped on to try to do this log thing for you guys. Hope I did it right!

How long ago did you buy this? There was a bug where the barbaric armor box was giving the wrong set (and should have been a fixed). If you bought it more than a month ago, you’ll need to open a ticket with Customer Support.

As Eva mentioned earlier, we’re working to fix this issue. To assist us in doing so, we’d like to try and identify commonalities between everyone experiencing this.
For starters, what race, gender, and profession are you? Which server are you on?
Here’s what I’m getting from what’s been reported so far:
- Occurs in PvE, PvP, and WvW, but encountered most frequently in PvP due to how often players reload the same zone.
- Occurs when reloading into the current zone
and notor when entering a new zone.
Additionally, if there are any steps you can take to consistently reproduce this issue, please let us know as it would help us to identify the root of the problem. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

this happen when i have equip magic find armor, and this is the result… a global skin fusion of t3 armor skin and rare craft skin.

From what we can tell, this particular bug only seems to come up in group story; are you doing this with other players? If you just want to continue your story, doing it solo should allow you to progress.

Thanks for the reports! We think we may have identified what’s causing these breaks (don’t use Jump Shot to get to the different ships). We’ll be doing some additional work to prevent this, but if you go through the quest and walk along the gangplanks, it should progress normally.

Would be grateful if someone from ArenaNet could confirm that this is on the list of bugs to be fixed, so we can all look forward to using the elemental Eyes again.
We understand it’s not a top priority bug, but just knowing it will eventually be addressed would mean a lot.
