There are corrupted weapons, there are risen weapons, so why are there no branded weapons?
wow…. okay i was debating on whether to get char slots first or bank slots
Bank slots all the way man.
Probably not against the law in any way. Even if it was I doubt Anet has the time and money to go after Microsoft in a law suit just to have Microsoft claim that it’s just a generic sword that has a resemblance to the swords in GW2 because they are generic swords as well.
I looked on the wiki. One of the locations was by the veteran ice golem on the ice jumping puzzle. Went there first. Found it right off the bat.
Kamas. Gloves/brass knuckles. Halberd.
I wish we’d get a hint for something to look forward to in the coming weeks.
I would like there to be more legendary weapons. None of the weapons really appeal to me that I use on my ranger. My ranger is a Charr. I don’t want a bow that looks like a unicorn or a bush.
The dragons at first were pretty cool. But after learning about the dragon mechanics the fights devolve into just standing in one spot and auto attacking the dragon until it’s dead.
1. If you don’t have the money for one then don’t buy it.
2. By putting legendaries on the market it removes money from the economy because of the listing fee.
3. Buying and then reselling nets a double listing fee because there’s the listing fee for the original seller and the listing fee for the new seller. If anything resellers help the economy by reducing the effects of overall inflation that MMORPGs usually suffer from.
4. If anything I’d like to see MORE items be sellable, not LESS.
That being said, I do not do Claw of Jormag because the event is way too long.
Jormag wouldn’t be so bad if the ice wall didn’t glitch.
There are no ascended weapons currently available. In the mean time, that exotic gear you received can help with things like dungeons and fractals.
If they want a “quick fix” to the precursors being so expensive they could just increase the drop rate slightly. Then when the scavenger hunt comes out they can restore the drop rate back to it’s original state.
We realize there are a number of bosses in the game, from the open world to instances that all can be more fun to fight than they are now.

Recently I joined a guild that was in a different server from mine. At first I noticed that I could not view any upgrades. At first I was like “well I can live this.” Then later on I switched to their server so I could do fractals with them. Then when I tried accessing my mule guilds I couldn’t. Which is problematic as I used them for storage.
I would like to see all aspects of a guild to be cross server, not just the chat.
Lately I’ve been fiddling around the idea of using different weapon sets for different situations. For instance I might try shortbow+axe/warhorn and other times I might try shortbow+longbow. It would be nice to have a quick way of doing this. A game that did something like that was Diablo 2. You could easily switch between two different weapon sets.
Why would this be good? Well I think primarily for the convenience factor, but it’s existence could encourage players to partake in weapon set swapping when they may not have otherwise thought to do it.
I made a screen of what I am talking about below. I’m not a graphic designer so pardon the bad image editing. You might argue that your average user might get confused by this or just not like it. I disagree with that, but if need be they could put an option to disable the swapping of weapon sets and hide all related UI. Obviously you could only weapon set swap out of combat.

I mainly pve.
My second weapon is axe/horn.
I’m wondering which does more dps on a zerker gear build, shortbow or longbow? I use might too and I think might also buffs condition damage.. but let’s ignore that. Let’s assume that the shortbow player is able to flank.
I dunno, I sort of think that the red circles need to be changed in general to be easier to see for everyone (even for people without color blindness). I understand that they don’t want to clutter up the battlefield with effects but there’s gotta be a better way than what they have.
Oh, it was Lair of the Coil haha. Sorry I didn’t see that part. ;x
Thanks for the help.
Thanks, I was missing Aurora’s Remains. I have the ones you posted for Shiverpeak already, though. Am I missing something in this area? It looks like I could be.
I’m missing 2 areas that I need to uncover. 1 is in Shiverpeak and the other is in Maguuma. I was wondering if anyone knows hard-to-find covered parts of the map or can maybe just tell what I’m missing from this screenshot:
Maguuma:
Sparkfly Fen
Metrica Province
Mount Maelstrom
Caledon Forest
Brisban Wildlands
Shiverpeak:
Wayfarer Foothills
Snowden Drifts
Lornar’s Pass
Dredgehaunt Cliffs
Timberline Falls
Frostgorge Sound
The problem is that the AI is really simplistic. Instead of being somewhat random and making dealing with monsters more reactionary-based, they always use abilities at certain times which makes them memory-based. One consequence of that is a mob using the same ability at once to stun-lock you and kill you.
I’m more annoyed with the WvW one, which has been there for every non-holiday month. My computer simply cannot handle WvW very well. It’s a pain in the butt trying to get that achievement for the monthly.
They said it will be as big as an expansion.
They’re probably over-exaggerating, as per usual.
I hope to see Tengu as a playable race someday but I don’t think we’ll see that happen for some time.
I decided ever since races were announced during development. Charr! Glad I did, because all I ever see are humans and Norn…
Me too.
Right now I have 3 charr, 1 human, 1 sylvarri, and 1 asura. I plan on making a norn and another charr. I want at least 1 of each race for the lore as well as the achievements. But charr is my favorite race.
How about we just ban bots instead of implementing a DR system that penalizes all players?
I agree that magic find needs to be changed in some fashion (like average it out among the party or remove it entirely or something else).
Wow I like the left one a lot better than the actual in-game design.
I agree that profanity can perpetuate aggressive behavior. However there is a profanity filter. I don’t think we should ban people for swearing. If you’re in a group that you feel isn’t going the direction that you want to go in, then leave the group.
I’d like it if I could make a sylvarri that sounded at least somewhat aggressive.
They probably won’t punish the scammers. Anet needs them to scam people like you because they don’t want people circumventing the listing fee on the auction house.
The idea of joining multiple guilds is hindered by the fact that you can only talk to one guild at a time. I can’t really practically be in a small, friend-based guild and be in a bigger guild to do more content with at the same time.
Legendaries shouldnt be able to buy or sell :x
Umad that you don’t have 9,500 gold and 1 copper?
I disagree. Then again, I don’t really think anything should be soulbound at all.. but I’m probably in the minority on that.
Putting anything on the auction house takes money out of the economy because of the listing fee.
I don’t know why the idea of someone buying a legendary offends you so much. You have the option to as well.
I like the idea of having rune sets as opposed to armor sets. But in it’s current form there’s one thing I don’t like about it: The fact that you can’t really mix and match them. Given the upward curve of bonuses on a specific rune set, you are pigeon-holed into only buying one set. An example of this is that a set can give 25 on the first rune but gives 50 on the third and 90 toughness on the fifth. So if you try to get runes from different sets you’re going to end up with worse overall stats.
I think the solution is to revamp the runes to be like the one that gives 10 to stats and 2% crit damage on ALL of the rune progression. So, for instance, in the above example perhaps the bonuses could be averaged out to give the same bonus on the tiers. So, 25 plus 50 plus 90 is 165 which divided by 3 is 55. So 1st tier, 3rd tier, and 5th tier should all give +55 toughness. That way people who currently have all 6 aren’t penalized as they have the exact same stats but there would be greater variety among what runes players would be able to utilize. I understand that most rune sets have a buff that is not just a a pure increase in stats but that can be left unchanged. If anything those buffs could still be a reason for people to get all 6 runes if they want. But again, I just want the ability to be able to mix and match without having to feel like I’m making my character worse, not better.
Btw if you’re curious the example I was using was Rune of the Dolyak.

I completed fractal 4 and so I’m on 5. Wouldn’t mind joining.
I got to the priory story mission, The Ghost Rite, and when I became enchanted my camera got all funky. Pic related. When I zoomed in on my camera I could no longer see my character.. lol.

Very awesome. I thought the dancing asura in the middle was a nice touch. Michael Jackson was a great performer. It’s a shame people around my age only see him for what he was like before he died.
Got the chest when it first was out. Logged onto a character that was in the sPVP mists. Got a letter with his chest. Opened it and got more stuffs. One thing I noticed was that before I opened it I switched to a different character in Lion’s Arch and the letter wasn’t there. Switched back to character in sPVP and it was there.
The PVP daily didn’t reset whatsoever. The normal daily reset all the progress except for the events which did not reset.
What would be some good controllers for playing Guild Wars 2 on? Any suggestions?
I really wish the cast time for the ranger spirits (on land) were just a little bit faster. They don’t need to be as insanely fast as it is when you’re underwater.. but a little faster would be nice. It takes too long to use a bunch of spirits at once.

I would prefer it if instead of being randomly placed into a random team, that there be a lobby like there is in PVP. That way people can join existing games or make their own by playing on a map with 0 players on it.
I keep getting put into teams where there is at least 1 dolyak dead. I want to try for the “no dead Dolyak” achievement but I can’t because of being put on a team in progress.
I was hoping to do it as a party as well.
So then I guess the 200 cogs are useless? Lel.
You could maybe use them to make the transform tonics with the other 3 toy pieces you have. I’m not sure what that needs though.
I’ve never really cared about mini pets too much because I didn’t really have any. Now after Wintersday I do. And I find the mini pet system to be kind of annoying.
I don’t really like how mini pets are considered a collectable. The reason is because when it’s like this you can only have 1 character have a specific mini pet at a time. Also, having a mini pet takes up an inventory space. Also, you have to put said mini pet into an invisible bag if you don’t want it to be deposited when you click on deposit all collectables. Also, you have to use the mini pet after you die (I think) or move instances.
A potential system to replace it could be similar to the dye system. What I mean is that there is tab or something in the hero screen where you can set what mini pet you are currently using. And then that mini pet will be with you always, unless you hide/disable the mini pet in some option or something in that mini pet tab. Also, it would be good if (unlike how dyes are) that mini pets could be used on all characters and that multiple characters could use the same mini pet.
I really, really like how rare materials are collectable now. One other thing I would like to be collectable are dungeons tokens. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for and can help people keep track of their dungeon tokens when they have multiple characters.
