So, why you didn’t take that money and bought yourself a computer that is not a toaster?
Actually, they didn’t build up that much hype, keeping us in the dark for months and releasing some infos now. They even said that the feature patch will be mostly a quality of life patch, and it is what we are receiving.
Dynamic event rewards are already abysmal. I can see even less people doing them now.
Burning and poison used to stack in intensity way back before the first beta weekend. I am talking about back during the PAX demos.
If only the pet’s stats was scaling with the stats of your ranger.
Long range shot can hit that hard, but it’s doing less DPS than shortbow and one handed sword and warrior banner. Ranger wielding a warrior banner need a nerf.
Someone post this earlier. Seems like people are getting ready. RIP last bit of economy.
It’s totally not the April’s Fool. I swear by Dwayna’s blessed undies.
Legendaries became meaningless as soon as Anet made them tradeable and sellable.
Champ farming isn’t that profitable tbh. If you don’t have a lot of time I suggest doing a few quick dungeons every day. In one hour you should have 10g+ easily.
And yes, you’re right 40g isn’t much. I make at least that amount of gold daily.
Champ farming is only profitable if you sell everything. If you don’t sell everything, you will only get about 4g/hours. Dungeons and playing the economy earn better cash flow.
During that time, i saw screenshots of people hoarding 20+ full stacks of Sigils that are already raising in price, due to the sigil and rune changes.
You’ll only be able to kill Lupi in 1:38 instead of 1:30. I’m so sorry for you.
Try 7 seconds.

New GM Skirmishing trait:
“Master of Roots – You will no longer get rooted when using a sword”
That trait being in skirmishing is making too much sense. Make it a GM beastmastery trait since we really like our traits being all over the place.
Why Read the Wind is not an utility skill is beyond me. Why Guild Wars 1 preps are not utility skills is beyond me, too.
Remember when a dev said before the game’s release that Dyes would be account based in Guild Wars 2, then we got the character based dye system. Good times.
No wonder why all my alts are using ugly kitten dyes, because you have to be crazy to actually use a non ided dye instead of selling it.
The wife and I were talking about this thread and she has pointed out that LA was attacked 3 times before Scarlett:
Zhaitan
Mad King Thorn (counts since he busted through the lion statue)
KarkaLions Arch should have reinforced the city’s defenses LOONNNGGGG before they even figured out that Scarlett was going to attack.
LA deserves to STAY buried now.
Time to contract the Asurans and Charrs to put proper defenses in the 5 capitols.
Or Norns to construct turrets with bears on the top that shoot tiny bears. But in all seriousness, LA indeed deserve to be buried down for not preparing itself to attacks.
I’ve also been waiting for this armor set to make it in game. Not only was it in the mesmer skill videos but it was also one of the first armor renders they showed off. I was pretty sad to see that it wasn’t in-game after launch.
There aren’t many light armors that truly capture the feel of mesmers from GW1, but this one most definitely does. We’ve already gotten most of the other major NPC armors but for some reason this one keeps getting left out. Please make it happen Anet!
I don’t remember seeing the far left medium armor in game, either. Medium armor need more pants and less trench coats and butt capes. Picture related.
Anet shown this picture before the game’s release. I still wonder why you cannot have it in game. It’s funny, since it is one of the best looking light armor.
Using sword #3 to evade a telegraphed attack only to end up in front of the mob once again.
Look for human T1 armor if you want a non sexy medium armor. Bonus point for not having a butt cape.
TESO and Wildstar are coming out soon. Anet better have something up the sleeve instead of some bug fixes and quality of life updates.
I am expecting nothing new. Like that, i won’t be mad if anything fail my expectations.
JQ do Tequalt on respawn, then do the karka queen and Priest of Balthazar sometimes, too.
Of all the things that defined rangers in Guild Wars 1 (pets, traps. preparations, interupts, condition spreading, expertise) They had to use the most boring one as calls mechanic. Imagine Guild Wars 2 with preparations as your F1-F4 skills.

Welcome to Guild Wars 2’s ranger. How they went from one of the most versatile profession in Guild Wars 1 to this abomination we have now is a complete mystery.
If I want to do damage on my Ranger the GS is never a viable option. Period.
It was an option during the BWEs, until Anet destroyed greatsword skill #1 with a 50% damage nerf “Because it was too good with 100% faster speed quickness and old RaO” They nerfed the last two, too, but never bothered giving back a much needed damage boost on the Gs.
The problem with condition damage is that it’s kitten in pve, but godlike in small group pvp.
The goal of this event is clearly to have three groups working together to rescue citizens. We are supposed to split into a forum group, a fort group and an estern LA group.
Why should i help zerglings that try to stack against mobs that does heavy aoe damage, like the etherblades and the dredges. It’s funny how 90% of the zerg dies in the first minute of a fight because they get hit by every single aoe there is and get punched into the face by orbital lasers.
Given the track record?
– Jeweler increased to 500
– a few bug fixes
– a few trait tweaks
– maybe a new skill per class
– a quality of life change or two
– and of course, “New Items in the Gem Shop!”In short, more of the same.
I second this. Anet cannot into exciting feature updates.
Concerned about Captain's airship passes.

There is everything at the Vigil Keep, except crafters. I have to go to other cities to craft things. It’s annoying.
The funniest thing is if you want to do anything in the city, you need to slip the zerg . And yet people just try to zerg everything.
Hey brah, they work hard, and they need money. It’s either cash-shop or monthly fee. Pick one.
I pick expansions every 6 months – 1 year, like in Guild Wars 1. You know, expansions that actually added things in the game without removing them after 2 weeks.
Actually, i would prefer buying an expansion with new skills, new armors skins , new weapon skins and new pvp mod like Guild Wars 1, over using the gem shop.
The bad part about ascended is getting shoehorned into crafting, instead of giving us easier ways to acquire them.
Will Escape from L.A. bring in the Tengu?

This new update is the perfect opportunity to have the LA citizens taking refuge into the nearest city, the Dominion of the Winds. But knowing that Anet and NCsoft are allergic with Canthan arhitecture, we won’t see it.
Can someone explain me why they like Lineage 1 more than 2?
Same reasons why people prefer Diablo II over Diablo III.
If you can’t survive with a Ranger you’re doing it wrong.
If you think they have the same range as other professions you’re wrong.
If you think they can’t tick 16k with Rapid Fire you’re also wrong.L2P.
You are aware that 16k damage on a 10 second channel skill is actually kitten dps?
You are aware that if you want to do 16k with Rapid Fire, anything looking at you in the wrong way might kill you in 3 seconds in WvW?
What happens when the Mystic Forge blows up?

I hope it is picture related happens x 100. I am tired with LA being the center of all Living Stories.

I don,t see the point of buying flamey versions of low level armors. It’s rather lazy on Anet’s part.
It worked better with the old Frost Spirit. Frost Spirit use to apply chill instead of giving a 10% damage increase, during the BWEs.
The loot is still abysmal. Green items for such a big fight? Really? Anet need to implement a token system for their world boss fights and let people chose their own loot instead of giving us the weak loot tables we have now.
During that time, ranger is left in the dust on almost all aspect of the game, except spvp.
This is coming to the game, soon.

More World Bosses will get revamp and harder like Teql.
source: http://www.guildwars2hub.com/features/interviews/exclusive-interview-chris-whitside-cdis
So, more World Bosses being abandoned.
WTB giving the player the choice to how to get ascended armor and weapons , like exotic weapon and armor sets. Via Crafting, drops, via dungeon tokens and karma etc.
Before this praise of Blizzard goes any further, I’d like to point out that the WoW Hunter forums contained almost exactly the same level of complaining about the class. It’s spooky.
That’s because hunters in Vanilla and Burning Crusade were as horrible as rangers we have today. Blizzard overhauled the pet system in Wrath of the Lich King.
they cant change the pet mechanic. theyve said itd break the game.
It is what Blizzard said about Hunter pets way back in 2004, when hunters were considered the worst class in the game. Then, Blizzard actually listened to their player base and made the pets not suck.
