I’m going to kick the bee hive and say this, Dungeon rewards are way too good.
Every single dungeon run you do can net you around 70-80s with a time efficiency that puts any other method of farming gold to shame.
You make dungeons stupidly rewarding while exploring only a mehhhhh level of reward.
Meta events are the only decent open world way of farming gold because of the chests but even that method is inferior to dungeon runs.
Anet should boost up open world champion drop rewards.
As of right now there is really no reason you should ever fight a random champion thats out in the open unless its just for kicks and giggles.

Yak’s has never had FA’s population, it’s not even close now. If it seems like it, it’s because player for player we beat just about anyone. This week is the first I’ve fought Mag’s in a while, but based on this weekend, they out number us. Out numbered in tier 4, yet able to punch into tier 3. All in a day’s work.
During the FA/YB/ET fight, you guys easily had similar numbers for NA and outnumbered us during off peak. After we got off peak transfers, I’ll admit we outnumber you there. But on weekends, you continued to put out similar numbers to FA during primetime.
The funny thing is, after our week against Mag, we were shocked when fighting your server because you guys weren’t putting out good tactics like they were. You just had numbers. At least with GODS, almost all our skirmishes went our way (obviously when we outnumbered but also when numbers were even or we were slightly outnumbered). Only time we got wiped was when Yaks far outnumbered us. I know another FA guild had a similar experience too. The only thing Yaks really did better is defend what they have.
Note: This post isn’t meant to be an insult to Yaks though it may seem like it. I’m truly baffled by the statements that their people keep making that they are great players who are able to keep up while being outnumbered. In the four matches we were up against them, I never noticed this. In the most recent of the two matches we’ve had with Mag, they made more of an impression on me.
Strange comments you make here. Even on reset day at best we can fill 2 maps and put a token presence on a third. That might last a couple hours a week just after reset. The rest of the week we can’t even fill 2 maps, it’s been this way for a while. Meanwhile we know FA is still able at times to put queues on all 4 maps during NA prime time. That’s not some small difference you can get confused about. I’m honestly baffled that you could fight us for 4 weeks and not have a general idea of relative numbers. Were just not noticing the persistent out manned buff on Yak’s?
Also a strange comment about GODS. I’ve been part of wiping the GODS zerg more times than I can count, and almost never with equal numbers.
FA hasn’t had a 4 bl queue for ages, way before we reached tier 3 even during Friday rushes

If you want the guards to be stronger. Upgrade them
Basic camps are impossible for 1 regular person to do Solo. Possible for a skilled person to do.
A full squad is 5 people.
3-4 people no matter what lvl or class should be able to take camps even if not skilled.
The scaling is fine. You just have to have people actively guarding the camps if you don’t want the enemy to capture it.
I solo camps on my elementalist all the time and I can do it while eating.
Just pop a ally summon utility skill and the rest is a joke.
Any lv80 with all their skills unlocked can solo camps easily.
Well except maybe a warrior because of the annoying blinds.
But I’ve still manage to solo some camps on mines as well, just takes a little longer.

I, for one, love the drama between GODS and BLNT! Seriously. It’s very entertaining to me to hear the smack talk from both sides.
Seriously; if you can’t have made up enemies in an online war game, what’s the point? Some where in my inventory is a ‘rabbit finisher’ for wvw. I’ve never used it. But what purpose can it serve other than mocking of the other guy?
The game has a pitiful number of emotes. They took out the ability to express oneself to the other side with /me. Can we not talk the smack here? Half the fun of playing Halo with my kids is listening to them taunt me. So make with the taunting already and lets get ready to let loose the dogs of war tonight!

Yea, I hate how having the castle in EB basically gives you dominance in 5 other towers in the map as well ._.
And it’s not even from the outer wall, its from the kitten 3rd floor.
Anza, Durios, QL, Willow and Kolvan rarely ever get to upgrade if the enemy is holding SMC because the walls are bound to fall.
Although I don’t approve of just removing SMC’s entire power to get a good treb position I think they should make it so that you only treb towers from the inner part of the outer walls or modify the 3rd floor so that if you breach the first layer of defense you can take down the treb.

Well the last 2-3 weeks hasn’t been so bad for FA
I’ve seen more defensive oriented activities now (defense on Durios and QL still need some working on admittedly)
We still have supplies being taken from keeps that are (200/550) problem sadly.

I’ve had 30k flat once, and that was with 10 points into the vit trait and vit armor/weapon.
with accessories and specing vit gems into all your gears you can break 37k probably.
Would be pretty pointless though to be honest, warriors are meant to be tankyish bruisers not guardian class tankers.

I don’t really see a problem with the gold gain in WvW. I dont que that much upgrades on keeps so that might be why i make good gold in WvW. In good hours i can easily make 5 gold an hour from events, loot bags and other drops. Even in bad hours i make 2 gold an hour. Since mats are so much more expensive now gold gain shouldnt be a problem for anyone in WvW.

I’ve gotten almost 50 ectos in three days just running dungeons. Supply has actually gone UP, but there are also more things to use them on.

Even if the cooldown was abnormally long like 60 seconds, it would still be broken.
Other classes get weapon swapping for the versitility in their skill set, for about 12 skills.
If you gave that to eles they would have an arsenal of 32 skills, you wouldn’t even predicate what they would do at that point.

FA is seems to be better with defending keeps and towers when their walls and gates are down, than when they are up

In this thread, we learned a few things:
1) UNIQUE on an item generally means you can only equip just 1.
2) Some people lost money learning this.
3) Arenanet will not give refunds for this, because they don’t have the tools to accurately refund people items and discern who is being honest or not.Okay.
Can we end the thread now? Or are you guys going to sit here and try to kill eachother over semantics?
The reason #3 is quite ridiculous to be honest, 1k Karka Shell is by no means farmable efficiently..
Just looking at the trading post histories would be able to tell who spent money on the shells or not.

I was just there, a thief remained permanently stealthed until we got a chance stun on him which was about 7 minutes.
He didn’t even appear once during that duration.

This is a fairly simple list, I’m not going to write a paragraph for each reason why they should be changed as I think those who play WvW often already know the problems first hand.
1. Guard upgrades – Efficiency to cost ratio : Pathetic
My suggestion: Patrol guard should add guards inside Lord rooms as well, Raise Guard Level should be increased to 4 rather than 2 OR keep the upgrade level and increase their respawn rate.
2. Oil Rig – Nothing more than a road bump to the cannon upgrade currently and maybe to buy 20-30 more seconds for your tower in exchange for 60(?) supply.
My suggestion: Remove the purchase for Rig of Oil all together having them as a default (like with keeps) and making the 3rd siege upgrade for tower specially positioned superior arrow carts and superior ballistas, a bit more durable than the original but with equal fire power. (Or add a siege weapon melting option)
3. Workers – Workers should be able to do the runs between the depots and walls and siege weapons with the excess supplies that enter keeps or towers.
4. Outmanned buff – This is nothing more than just a bullseye marker for enemies, they see this buff and they just steam roll over your entire group. Add a stat boosting feature to the Outmanned buff similiar to the orbs (if you are outmanned you get +150 stats), You’ll still be weaker in man power but you would be able to fight against supression.
5. Siege weapons – The catapult gravel ability, if you seriously don’t see whats wrong with it I don’t know what to say to you.

Not the highest quality video, but it gets the point across.
Most invigorating keep defense I have to say, my repair bill made my cry but it was oooh so worth it in the end.
Especially when Tarnish came walking in with two golems and we had NO siege up I thought were were going to lose the keep for sure.

just salavaged 19 rares and 2 exotics with mystic salavage kit and got 18 ectos in return.
While I heard my guild mates getting 20 ectos with around 10 salavages.
You just have to learn and accept that salvaging is a lottery function and you’ll get unlucky sometimes.

Char warrior brring’s nothing great in WvW, just telling you now.
Charzooka is OK, but don’t be fooled when you are told it does better than the rifle in single target or longbow in aoe.
Warriors or most classes in general don’t really rely on racial skills to do what they do.

Another thing to note is that in the missions the difficulty range is absolutely enormous.
In some missions I could’ve beted that I would’ve been able to beat the entire mission with the screen covered and with only the mini map open.
While in other missions there would’ve been no way I could’ve defeated the enemies without the use of 5+ npc revival on my warbanner.
