(3500 kills, so not too bad i suppose)
Although my percentage might rise more as I’m starting to refine my WvW warrior build.

Avoid using the MISSthrower in wvw, elixer gun will tragically serve you better with the correct specs. Even when using flamethrower against enemies behind a gate, as soon as they get a retaliation buff, you kill yourself faster than you kill them.
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
1 hour of PvE to sustain for several hours of WvW is unfortunately how it works.
100% wvw will always result in negative profit if you are willing to upgrade and placing siege that ISN’T arrow carts or flame rams.
If you don’t like jumping puzzles for what ever reason (like me) then wvw really hurts your wallet after a while.

I don’t know about you, but I would be less inclined to play the game if all I ever saw was half the people in lions arch were hormone driven teenagers running around flaunting their “assets”.

You will probably hear that they are overpowered. But in my opinion player skill is much bigger offender in balance-sector.
You can bring great damage and decent support.
Perhaps, but in dungeons where you can zerg through with just sheer damage (Cof Exp, AC exp) trait 20/20 and 30 points in whatever and all you’ll ever have to do is press the 2,3 button on the GS and the occasionally signet of rage and you’ll be out damaging most classes, skill based or not.
It goes without saying in PvE they are easily the strongest in the game in overall effectiveness, except for maybe the D/D ele who can literally solo group event champions while facing tanking all their damage.

Darn it, they caught us.
FA had a tribunal where all the Server Elders convened and broke bread about our overall strategy. Even after many heated debates, political discussion, and poetry we had not come to a consensus. To break the stalemate, we had to pull our pugs out of an attack on SMC to perform a 40-player choreographed rain dance to the [GODS].
In our semi-lucid state (having downed a healthy swig of Borderland ale), we all beheld a golden light descend into the tent. It was a beautiful woman. Strong, powerful, naked. She spun slowly, gazing through us. As she turned, eyes turned downcast in humble awe of the deity.
Everything that happened after was a blur. But when we awoke, the message was clear. Seared into the minds of every FA on the server like a hot iron on a cow’s flank.
“Pick on the little guy.”
So if CD or IoJ ever thinks they’re getting double teamed by FA, I just want you guys to remember that we didn’t have a choice.
And certainly not because there’s a dozen commanders who independently make decisions about what to attack on a given day. No. That’s not how it works at all.
Haha, sadly our WvW community although isn’t small (we wouldn’t be in this tier otherwise) aren’t large in committed players. The number of players that can log on and stay for an entire duration of a fully upgraded keep siege is surprisingly small. We take what is the most vulnerable which usually means the side that is already focused on defending from 1 front.
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
its my second favorite tree to go down (first being defensive).
The 400 toughness boost and 10% revive speed is great, although trait 25 is a bit useless but the others are great as long as you aren’t going glass cannon.

dear lord the stupidity in this is appalling.

FA commanders in general
Mediocre at best, except for a few note worthy ones (particularly those from GODS,PRO and RET).
All the other commanders seems to just find where the biggest group of players are and roll with them rather than actually leading. There are also several commanders who I will not name that just seem to have the commander title on just for show ._.
Player A: Hey look at me I spent 100g for this title, I’m just going to sit idle in the keep while we lose our towers, but you guys go ahead.
I also rarely see any of these unknown commanders run groups to repair damaged structures as well, bad role models in my opinion.
Commanders from a non-renowned WvW guild in FA 1/10, rarely impress.
Commanders from the well known WvW guild in FA 8.5/10, they can still brush up on some things (mostly knowing the capabilities of certain siege weapons that they haven’t used to their advantage much yet).

Here is the strategy:
Kick party members in the following professions:
-Rangers
-Thieves
-Elementalists
-Mesmers
-Necromancers
-EngineersThen recruit only these professions:
-Guardian
-WarriorsNot sure if troll or-
nope, he’s not a troll, 100b for warriors is kitten broken in PvE it obliterates everything since AI thinks standing in a hurricane of attacks is ok, as for guardians, their buffs are insane ._.
Nothing hits harder than a glass cannon, greatsword specced warrior against something that doesn’t move, other classes have great damage, but when up against AI the soldier class is uncontested.

I think upgraded siege weapons pass superior would be broken (imagine a superior treb that shoots 50% faster o_o).
Crafting the basis wvw equips would be better imo, crafting normal arrow carts into rams then ballistas and etc, Golems being the lv375 item while superior items are lv400.
There could also be potential for wvw specific consumables (20% more supply efficiency for 30 minutes or 5% more damage while using siege or take 5% less damage when using siege, etc)

Is that in PvP/WvW few know what the hell we can do
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
Flame rams, ballistas and arrow carts should have a despawn timer.
Catapults, Trebuchets and Golems
The top three are the most abundant in siege and are more likely to be the main reason for supply caps than the other 3 since you will rarely find more than 10 of these of those kinds on a map.
lv80 Necromancer, all professional skills unlocked, working on the final norn elite skills.
After 3 seconds you should be able to dodge the blast o.O
walk out of range then dodge and laugh as they waste one of their higher cooldown spells and a catnip o-oChurning Earth can be triggered instantly, bro.
What? no it can’t, unless you are talking about the dodge roll churning earth, which does considerably less damage than the original form.

Just ignore them and laugh at their pitiful damage as you go about doing more important things. D/D eles are only good for one thing in WvW, and that’s distraction. Don’t be that guy who tries to chase them down instead of helping his team take a tower.
D/D Elementalist don’t do pitiful damage, they have the highest AOE damage in the game, even if they fully bunker, they can switch attunements to crit 100% of the time, so they don’t need precision.
I’ve fought more than my fair share of excala clones by this point (even ran it on my ele alt for a bit to see what all the fuss was about). Even if I kitten in combat and manage to get hit by their entire rotation, I’ve got plenty enough toughness and vit to shrug it off without popping my healing signet. Plus, you pretty much have to be afk to get hit by churning earth.
You wouldn’t happen to be running glass-cannon, would you? The only time I feel threatened by a d/d ele is when they bring friends with them.
An ele can teleport to you with churning earth.
After 3 seconds of standing completely still with a giant circle around them. >_<
Wait until the animation is almost done, then teleport.
After 3 seconds you should be able to dodge the blast o.O
walk out of range then dodge and laugh as they waste one of their higher cooldown spells and a catnip o-o
I’ve never really died to a D/D ele unless they bring friends with them cause usually they are a bunker build, unless you are glass cannon you’ll usually be able to survive their onslaught for a while. As for killing them? well that’s impossible, Lightning rush away and you’ll never see them again.

If you haven’t been on IoJ for the duration of the “GW2 Anabasis” that IoJ has experienced since September, you have no idea of the quality or determination of the core population. See you all in WvW.
Every server has some form of this statement. So please don’t use it in a “we are better than you” argument.
FA had guilds abandon and then clawed back up. CD had a large exodus and we’re almost back to where we were (T2). IoJ was a ginormous zerg server when we first fought them, now they are smaller in numbers.
So please, give credit to everyone. Those that play WvW are for the most part the ones that stuck around and enjoy the competition.
FA has people too :C

Most of the matches are balanced in North American (too lazy to check Europe) this week to a reasonable extent. They’ll put in guesting as soon as they can and probably put a fee on transfers then. I don’t actually lose sleep over it.

Tier 6
Tier 7
The only matches that you can say are truly balanced are Tier 3 and 5

Defend X amount of times
Capture X amount of points
would seem pretty solid to me.
Only problem is people logging on draining keep supplies just to finish the daily.

As only a few of you may know structural upgades for towers and keeps (especially SMC) can be expensive and often never even get completed.
I suggest that the current system of a 1 time buy be changed to split payment for partical progress and change the system into a instant consume system similar to how upgrading guards work.
Camps will remain the same.
For tower the upgrade would be split into 2 parts 50% for the first buy available when half of the required supply is present which would be instantly consumed and a second time for the completing progress, each upgrade will have half the upgrade time of the original as well.
For Keeps it would be a 5 part split with the same concept 20% completion with only 20% supplies used that is consumed immediately and takes 1/5 amount of time to complete compared to the original system if there was constant supply.
For Stonemist keep the upgrade would be split in 8 parts with the same mechanics as well 12.5% per upgrade.
Benefits:
1. More participation in upgrading
Most of the WvW community is reluctant to pay for upgrades because the costs are demoralizing and to constantly upgrade a tower or keep by themselves hurts the wallet. People would be more willing to pay for upgrades if it’s split across group of people and knowing that they aren’t alone when it comes to contributing.
2. Improved upgrade process.
Many pugs that are unfamiliar and new to WvW don’t think twice about taking supplies from a keep that is being upgraded. If you don’t know taking supplies from a keep while it’s upgrading severely hinders the upgrade process, sometimes even reinforced walls takes several hours to complete because of player drainage. Making a partial payment system dampers the problem because the supply that is present will be used for something useful and not something that a random player will just take while strolling by.

10) Thou Shall realise that Auto Attacking a gate and/or wall accomplishes nothing, and thou shall watch ones flanks.
If you’re not doing anything else, you should autoattack and hold down the reverse look button. Auto attack damage REALLY adds up over the 5 or 10 minutes it takes to down a gate with seige. You could take down a gate with autoattack damage alone if you were so inclined (which you probably shouldn’t be.)
1 flame ram attack has the strength of 100 maybe even 150 regular auto attacks, take out the people that are attacking your rammers from the wall, not the gate.

30/0/30/10/0
Soldier armor, weapon. accessories (P/V/T)
Superior rune of the fighter (165 power + 50 toughness) and Exquisite Beryl Jewel for accessories.
Any weapon as long as its not including shield or warhorn Superior Sigil of Bloodlust.Required trait is Strength (3)
Utility = Signet of Strength, Great Justice, Banner of Strength and Signet of Rage
Use Superior Sharpening stone and Plate of Orian Steak FrittesYou would be boasting an absurd amount of base power with this build.
Will you be boasting any crits at all with this build tho? :P
Well the topic starter is asking for the maximum power possible and that’s what I’m giving him o.O
This is by no means the highest damage build, but with ascended accessories it will be the highest power build assuming that might is taken out of consideration here.

Helping other servers do JP = helping them get free siege.
Poor excuse. A if the 1-2 siege plans a player can get from a JP will really turn the tide in WvW. :P
multiplied by a mesmer = 20 to 40 siege weapons against you.
If a guild does a wvw raid and starts off with mesmer portals in homeland and EB puzzle they’ll have 4 times the amount of players they have in siege weapons at their disposal for free.
That actually can very well turn the tide in many battles.
