I don’t think you could be more wrong tbh. NA are the kings of YOLO comps. That’s why EU did bunker meta so much better; they play to win through out rotations on whatever works best; not through outplaying people on ‘their’ builds.

I’ve played on both servers (just EU on trial weekends) and this is probably the best comparison of EU and NA I’ve seen in a while.

Read Anet’s post about how we should “mentor” newer players. And people need to drop their ego. It doesn’t matter if they ask for help or not. And if they don’t listen and the game is lost because of it, then no one has the right to complain about “toxic” behavior in game.

If they’re talking about buying a Game Key, then I dont think there’s any problems with it aside from any region-based use restrictions. What I understood the question as, and answered as, was the actual account itself, as in paying someone cash for their login info.

Apparently there’s going to be a new dragon finisher to be released soon. Something called the mystical dragon finisher.

Sort of coincides well with the whole Dragon Bash event coming up very soon.

I am not sure why its not including my rank from long ago, but in the situation here I was floating around the top 95% for quite some time. I would win some and lose some. I don’t see myself breaking top 1000 in team arena because I am playing with friends, people who have never PvP’d before.

Also take in consideration there are far more players in the ladder now, so unless you were already in top 1000 to begin with it is increasingly difficult to easily get top 1000; especially when your teammates are scaled off your own rating. You essentially have to carry your teammates until you start to get educated players.

I have made over 100g, if you refuse to believe that someone could get more valuable items then there is no purpose of even replying back to you.

I also did not state that I got all of my materials from PvP, I was roughly 20% complete with the materials because I had materials saved up prior to the patch; I just didn’t care about a legendary until now.

Your attitude in regards to how “easy” it is to break top 1000 is self-centered as reaching top 1000 requires you to be in the top 4% of the game; I could make the same claim against you saying how easy a physics degree is to get because it appears easy to me but that is clearly not the case. In any case though, statistics are fairly accurate. Roughly 94% of the players who do PvP do not reach top 1000, and if getting a physics degree was easy… then it would not result 6 figure jobs as often.

I have played roughly 200 games since patch. I just haven’t broken top 1000 for it to register my rank. Those websites run spiders that pull data from the leaderboard, it can’t tell who played tournaments if they are not in the top 1000.

That’s funny because it works for my friends who are not currently top 1,000.

How about when I get home I add you to my friends list and compare your total games played to what is listed on that website and then I’ll definitely see your 200+ games when I can see your record from the LB friends list function.

I’ll even post a screenshot of your record and apologize for doubting you.

Besides offering poison, healing and spike damage, Mug makes sure a lot of my combos land. Steal-stab, for example, fails a lot on moving targets when I don’t have Mug. Even for Heartseeker into Steal, you’ll need to make sure your targets are that much lower before you can use that. The 10 points in DA line also increase your power by quite a decent amount.
On the other hand, without investing 30 points into Shadow Arts, Shadow’s Embrace won’t help you against condition classes since Engineers and Necromancers will be spamming marks hades and bombs right where you stealthed.
However, if you really wish to drop Mug for 10 points in Shadow Arts, I would highly recommend taking Master of Deception. The reduced cooldown on Shadowstep, Shadow Refuge, Blinding Powder etc. is really strong.

Yeah, I’ve tried going with that trait too. I really want to make it work because in theory it’s so good. Regardless, I still keep going back to mug. Maybe one day I’ll convince myself to stick with MoD.

Just consider the trade-offs.
Stats aside is 1k damage + poison + 2k heal on a 20s cd more important than 1 condi removed every 3 seconds while stealthed?

Obviously the more condi-focused the enemy is the more useful SE becomes.

Personally I’ve tried dropping mug for things that make sense for my build, but even though in theory it’s more practical to drop mug I just keep going back to it because that 2k heal on a 20s cd and the damage+poison is actually really strong IMO.

Maybe I am too used to having mug—but I can attest to REALLY trying to drop it for something else but when it’s gone I -really- notice its not there, and when its there I don’t care so much for the other things I dropped to bring it.

On the NA side bracket group E-H has two of your top 8 hand-picked teams seeded in the same group. Whereas bracket-group AC-AF have none of the seeded teams of the top 8.

My point being, any team in the E-H cluster has a much harder time getting into the top 8 than a team in the AC-AF cluster. Was this intentional? It seems odd that you’d only stack that one bracket group with more than one top-pick.

Being in the 8 preselected teams did not guarantee a top 8 seed in the brackets. Ellusive was formed extremely close to the tournament, with this in mind along with other reasons they were not picked for preselected teams. The reason they were placed within the higher seeds is because MP staff members such as myself had seen them improve in weekly tournaments or team arena play over some of the teams listed after them which is why they are within the higher cluster.

So semantics aside, Team Teamwork didn’t have to go through RNG to get a spot in the tournament, and were not moved to the bottom of the list after their seeded position was reassigned?

Personally I think it will be one of those amazing PvE or WvW teams. As we all saw in the European tournament they did amazing and the big PvPers got beaten.

I thought it was absolutely hilarious how all of the seeded teams just obliterated any non-seeded team. Them wvw skillz 2 stronk for us pvpers. Even in flat out team-fights they got wrecked so hard.

oops I mean wvw teams were 2 stronk for dem seeded teems.

On topic, if obeesports has who I have been told they have, I think they’d make a pretty good underdog pick for winning the whole thing. Plus they have the hardest bracket tree to finals, so it will be interesting to see how they perform.

That being said, I face them in round 2 and we plan on doing as much as we can to thwart their progress.

Have been in top 1k but thanks for stalking me and I love when I look at the leaderboards and see that one of the top people has 4 wins and 1 loss… That shows how great the leaderboard is… And lets be honest soloque is pretty much luck based and depending on the time of day you play.
If I play NA prime my w/l is about 80/20 If i play late at night like oceanic prime my w/l is about 40/60….

Then why advertise that people can win 90% of all matches if they “play for objective” when you struggle to stay above 50%?

Yeah, leaderboards are pretty whacky, but I don’t know anyone decent not on them…

luck affect drops. I don’t feel like providing a source but devs confirmed luck does influence pvp chest drops.

This was a great tournament. Things I learned:

—#llamaprophecies and a lot of luck gets you a new finisher
—Precursors are not just for PvE players anymore
—If you lose, just do a Posi (joking aside, I hope that guy is banned from all future ANET sponsored tournaments. What a disgrace.)
—Mesmers are way more valuable to top teams than to average teams
—Eles are back

If you’re annoyed about being paired with a particular individual then just add them to friends and wait for their Q to pop before you join.

If you’re annoyed about unknown variables—such as how people will react with things you don’t like then make some friends and team Q.

Instead it sounds like you’re asking anet to… make it so you don’t get people who intentionally afk? Punish them? Something to that affect, and honestly it’s unlikely to happen.

Either way based on what you’ve posted I’d rather have someone like him on my team rather than someone like you.
