Its kinda awkward to use handheld for posting but…I agree burn isnt really in need of a nerf

Nerf the skills that cause problems up and down though and its a good deal in its current form

Ring of Fire and Purging flame rings need to expand a bit. and the cooldown of Ring of Fire increased. the bugs with the visuals and teleporting out of rings need fixing

Drake’s Breath uptime and stacks on that burning is total BS and needs to be changed especially when traited with Blinding Ashes as if the BS celeddele didnt have enough defense and sustain.

Incendiary Ammo, Incendiary Powder and Blow Torch burst of burning if proc’ed right is just too much espcially with the tells

JI needs to lose a stack of burn and have longer duration to help with the dmg modifier for burning.

I gotta give this a try with s/p

Most of your gear is Dire already anyway and you have no stunbreaks on your bar. No shame in packing full dire there. besides if you insist on not running full dire then at least replace the rabid gear with apothecary or settler and replace leeching with corruption. switching over to BM and picking up Companion’s Might can make use of the rabid’s crit chance plus fury on swap to give might to your pet.

the trapper build is not that flexible. The things we can flop around are replacing Axe/x with shortbow, pet selection, sigils and NM vs BM.

For now I suggest you replace leeching with corruption and replace the drake with a Boar and perhaps try running BM instead of NM and get a feel for it if it suits you or not. The boar has some lovely CC items and you can connect the skills it drops easily with the super speed and stealth combo and will help you combo your other skills that much easier.

you would have to cast it before u get combo’ed and necro only defense against it is 2 dodges

I had two similar experiences when my server last faced BB. One was when running double thief and took on 7 BB. After winning that encounter, one Thief in that group sent some hate mail, accused us of hacking and reported us.

So don’t feel bad it’s kinda common with BB.

unholy sanctuary might just save you if you didnt melt yet.

there is no real way to counter it . You will just have to maintain your distance and watch his buff bar. when an engineer successfully dodges an attack they will gain a buff for a short while that will recharge their next used toolbelt skill which includes Moa if they are traited for double Moa. for that time of the buffs duration watch the engi and maintain distance to see the vial thrown at you, blind, Fear or Chill and run. The cooldown on the trait is 40 seconds.

Whatever it may be just…just….just give us something that works since D/P and a nerf’ed to a shadow on the wall shortbow is all that is left. or at least revert the outrageous and unjustified shortbow nerfs.

Still hoping for a Rifle since a single specialization wont make support builds a thing and we already have too many sets that specialize in melee and yet not a single long range weapon.

I’d start with getting rid of all Rabid pieces and replacing them with Dire since you dont run anything that uses on crit effects in a trapper build.

There is not much room for choice here, you either run Nature magic for more protection and condi clear and extra boon duration or Beast Mastery for offense with your buuuuuurds. I think my Hawk killed a mesmer for me while I was kiting him.

The only reason I personally might consider NM is because of Fortifying Bond and nothing else. It is such a great boost for your pet in a solo or a party setting that I feel it should be baseline…. and gives your axe auto attacks some meaning since the might duration will be that of FB and not the Axe’s

A trivial nerf is trivial still, it needs a necro level “normalizing”.

crazy Damage, passive quickness, stances applying through transformation and bonus damage from peak performance still carries it.

Make sure to gank with your buds and corpse jump em for extra salt afterwards!

I dont think AG would resort to hacking, they are better than that. Are you certain the mesmer wasnt just hiding there bidding their time until allies arrive? Then again you can record and send to a GM directly or use the reporting features.

tbh Banner trait placement makes no sense. why discipline? maybe its just me but I thought support traits warriors have were mostly in Tactics.
the trait also got gutted for no reason with the removal of the increased radius and cooldown reduction.

you have to agree with the OP regarding how trivial the support warriors give out at the moment.

speaks volumes about your build variety though….which is too limited

the only way for you to get so much stacks on you is to dance in and out of every fire field the ele generates with ring of fire and burning speed trail,take a shower in drakes breath whole channel and perhaps attack the ele too much when it has a fire aura active

otherwise 5 stacks is what will slip through either way so you only have yourself to blame. not that I am defending celeddele but the cooldown on those skills is just too low for their payoff.

I miss my reaper too. I had a ton of fun on tanky power build and cele in wvw and pvp. there are so many things I still need to try out but the time was just so short….I still wanna try out gravedigger spam on bosses in pve and havent got around to it T.T

but that glorious moment when I murdered a few GS/hammer warriors with that stability in RS. I want more!

I was thinking about how adding a passive Epidemic cast in Master of Corruption trait would make it more appealing since the skill is so rarely slotted.

The cannon phases leave a bad taste in your mouth with how boring it is to wait it out and how buggy the aoe circles are. a repeated long time gated phases is a lazy approach to make an epic fight
