5 Matches is absurd, they don’t even ask for that many as part of a regular pvp daily. If you’re unlucky you play for hours without winning 5 matches, depending on who your team mates are and your opposition is.
To add more fun, you can be tossed into already losing team. Also 4v5 games is pretty common situation.

If anything the change to how fgs 4, dagger fire 3 and staff 4 worked was to bring ele damage down a tad in pve. They still do massive damage anyway.

It was nerfed because some kitten (I wish he will have hiccups to the end of his days) used FGS to kill Foefire lord on one of public Anet tourneys, and they nerfed into the ground it immediately, because they care only about lolesports balance. Dagger and staff was nerfed only because they use same mechanic as FGS.

I’d wager they weren’t giving the best they had to the dredge, though.
Things thought as best by asura are almost 100% experimental and certainly not ones you want to buy for yourself, if you care about your health.

it still does prove that the asura warrior could reasonably disable the norn warrior’s asuratech weapons/armor.
Disabling a golem and disabling a weapon are different things. We cant see any examples of that in game.

What concerns me and is evident in the OP post is that new players can’t tell the difference between cele engi and turret engi. Now because turret engi is strong in low level pvp these new players get upset and call nerf for engies in general.
Actually I wouldn’ be surprised if any engineer using the crate elite would be confused with turret engi by new players.
Both turret and cele engi deserves nerf btw. Both are nobrains relying on passive game mechanics to win.

Regarding asura tech and gadgets specifically – asura are notorious for keeping their technology secret, from a paradoxical mix of paranoia about others stealing their inventions and an arrogant belief that no non-asura could understand how it works. Even when the asura are providing their tech to someone else, such as to the Pact or one of the nations, they also provide asura technicians so that it’s never operated by non-asura.
Selling ready-to-use weapons and selling technology is different things. As example, we can see SE, where Inquest have no problems with selling their tech to dredge.
Also for killer-switch commentary above – it’s very unlikely that one asura will know security secrets of another. They not trusting each other.

I remember RG visits to NA, and remember NA zergs being nonstop farm for them, and remember that no NA guild was able to beat them in GvG. Overall EU wvw skill is way higher than NA.

Let’s assume that there are enough strength enhancements provided to both of them that they are roughly equal. The asura still is a smaller target.
Smaller means shorter range with weapons, weaker blows due to shorter weapon trajectory, harder to move around due to short legs, worse ratio body_weight/weapons+armor_weight (which means additional energy wasted or less weight can be carried), weaker natural damage resistance. There is a reason why almost no one heard IRL legends about mighty midget warriors.

Three words: solo versus premade. This negates anything good by far.
Stop trying to please minority of teams by harassing majority of soloers. If team arena gonna die because long queues – this shall be a headache for teamQ players, not for everyone else.

i dun think an ICD of 9 s is required since default weapon swap time is 10 seconds, and even with the rune set, it would 8 s so yeah i think there’s no need for an ICD of 9 s at all.
Bundles count as weapons, so ICD is necessary.

Turrets must be also have weight. How it can be, turret dropping on your head and you taking no damage? It must oneshot light armor classes, take 8/10 health out of medium ones and 5/10 from heavy ones. Turrets are serious business.

The ele combo does not give more damage. It does give more health but is a high skill combo that separates good players from the best.

The way it is now you cannot really use this arena for training.
Playing as meat for teams? No thanks, I’ll be chilling and doing random matches in practice mode and fun servers until soloQ will come back or lolezportz tpvp will finally die and free its place for something good. From what I see, second option will come faster.

I playing this game since beta, participated in every piece if gameplay since then, and Bell Choir is a WORST activity in this game, ever. It’s not fun for beginners, requires lots of learning effort just to stop failing miserable and cause too much frustration.
It’s like throwing the ragtag team of spvp beginners into WSL tourney match and call this “fun experience”.

People got used to eles and engi being free kills, and now that they have to exert the tiniest bit of effort and can’t just spam 1 anymore to kill them, they cry for nerfs. There are several hard counters for them that completely shut them down, people don’t want to adapt and expect to faceroll everything with the same build. “I don’t want to change my build even though doing so can completely make all of my opponent’s effort trivial and completely shut them down, so please nerf them so it’s easy for me again.” That’s all this is a case of.
And top pvp teams taking 2 eles and 2 engies just for lulz, right?
