Elementalist- 333.33 HPS via Ether Renewal (in actuality this is much lower because of cast time, and the cast time removes a great deal of damage application and defense that the ele could be using instead. It’s also very, very easy to interrupt)
Engineer- 2520+390+2520+650 = 405.33 via Healing Turret (again, though, much lower due to cast times and damage output/defense lost. I was using this in sPvP today and I was horrified by how long the entire combination took for the amount it healed me. I’d much rather take a consistent heal that heals for 100 HPS less than Healing Turret)
Guardian- 151.83 HPS from Shelter (lol)
Mesmer- 278 HPS + 32 HPS per clone via Ether Feast
Necromancer- 209.6 HPS + 28.96 HPS for each condition you have on you on average when you heal via Consume Conditions
Ranger- 242 HPS assuming that you get the maximum amount of regeneration (3s on activation and then another 3s per 2 seconds) via Healing Spring
Thief- 289.6 HPS via Withdraw
Warrior- 327.33 HPS with HealSurge if you have 3 bars of adrenaline each time you use it and 392 HPS with HealSig

F2- attempt to block the next attack, consumes adrenaline. 0 adrenaline, 0% blocked. 1 bar, 33% damage blocked. 2 bars, 66% damage blocked. 3 bars 100% blocked. 10 second cool down.
Such implementation will be even more worthless than current F1 on greatsword.

Actually pretty much every decent player tries to change spec/class for the best comp in soloq, and i personally hate soloq (Way more fun going in tqueue pug) but i guess you play with worst ppl in the world if they all go like “nice we’re 4 thieves and no bunkers, let’s go like this even if someone could run something else setting up a decent comp” or maybe it’s just you dunno…
When you start saying things like “everyone” or “noone” think twice before going full bs mode…way better hint than yours

I love having good rangers in my group. High damage, spotter, frost and stone spirit.
My biggest worry is 90 percent of the time they are poorly specced and played.
This. I see warrior shouts and banners in every run, same with guardian walls/shouts, mesmer feedback, etc. But honestly I can’t remember last time when I’ve seen ranger with spirits+spotter.

I want to ask about all those posts about “nerf HS regen, buff scaling, HS for bunkers”. You know what war bunker is one of weakest pure bunkers in sPvP? It works good only against someone completely unexperienced or if you got coordinated team. No one in sane mind would take average warrior bunker over average guardian bunker. Pure regen is nothing without bunker utility.
Moving HS to bunker won’t help bunker, and it’s heavy nerf for other specs, they are still don’t have any reliable sustain source outside of HS. Mending and stance are jokes, surge is good only for pure glass, kill fast or gg. Usually gg, bunker condi meta says hello. If you open warrior builds, you can see Ire and HS in almost EVERY pvp build, and it’s not because everyone ignores alternatives. There is simply no alternatives.

I actually like skyhammer due to possibility of environment kills, but spirit watch – no, no and no.
Also points from 30% win ratio in solo teamQ > 50% in soloQ > ~100% in hotjoin. Dunno who made this, but I hope that he’s not working on that post anymore.

As said here, asura have 2 clear advantages.
1. Targeting. You running into teamfight, you need to pick up target. Have fun to click on tiniest asura between pets/minions/players/turrets/clones, or waste 1-3 sec on tab targeting. This is significant advantage in team fights.
2. Counterplay. When I fight against norn or charr hammer warrior, I can see and dodge a lot of hammer abilities. When I fight against asura (especially in clutter) – I usually don’t even bother. I really don’t understand how Anet allows to have such advantage (legal!) in the game where you supposed to build your tactic on reading enemy animations.

HS is really good,especially combined on char like warr,which even in high DPS build can have over 20k hp easily and over 3k armor,with strong utils and very mobile anti kitting builds.
I was playing my toughness engie after some time,and it felt like glass canon compared to my high DPS warr.Warr got simply everything what a sane player could ask,and compared to other classes bit more.
Dude, if you can’t outbunker point on engi better than on warrior, then I have some bad news for you.

Well to be fair ele was the fotm for several months. I remember running into some guilds in wvw that would run 15+ dd ele’s. Maybe they did get nerfed a bit hard cus they were so strong I don’t know cus I don’t play one. However I do run into both really bad easy kill ele’s and really strong ele’s. They probably could use some buffs but it just seems like a class that is harder to be really strong with rather than say a faceroll hambow warrior easy mode.
WvW ele is perfectly valuable and vital for guild groups, but if we are talking about sPvP – ele is pretty weak now.

no illusions die not by smart opp. they die cause they cant hold a breath. longbow f1 makes all attempt to pop illusion useless. and its spammable.
the rest of your argumentation is out of context. zerkerstance is used to prevent condition and as good side effect the warrior gets plenty adrenalin to spam.
circumstances? u realize they are the only circumstance the mesmerheal would heal the full amount.. so its only under very rare! circumstances for short duration?

even the adrenalingain ignored a 3 condiremove on a 7-10 second cooldown is to strong. it shuts down every condi-class and with the add. toughness its provides a lot of dmg mitigation against raw power classes, that are only played here and there, cause they sacrifise to much in comparision with a warrior with cleansing ire.
i get the feeling talking to a wall. so i will stop here. have fun qq and cry about healing signet, some hammer traits or what else u think is the reason warrior is overperforming, until u see the source of all is cleansing ire at his current position and current form.

So you cannot rely zerker this as adrenaline source, because adrenaline is only secondary effect.
2. a mesmer dodging twice + 1 skill for 3 illusions has blown his defense
And wasted 1 min defensive CD is not? What will be ready again faster, 2 dodges and weapon skill or 1 min utility? Btw you still have mesmer utilities/heal/other weapon skills not even touched.
3. even if he has still endurance, the illusion unless want last that long unless specced for it and in 1vs1 and got ignored or no aoe
Circumstances, circumstances. I can say same about ire – hard physical hits, CC, hard CC+condi pressure – oh no, we dying and still cannot get enough adrenaline for proper cleansing.
4. heavy pressure? i hope u realize the war gets 1 adrenalin for every hit, doesnt matter how much dmg they do.
5. considering how tanky a war is atm several hits per seconds doesnt mean heavy pressure.
So everyone around you hitting you with a wet noodles. If you are only considering fights with pure bunkers, then adrenaline doesn’t matter at all.
6. what does mesmer matter if cleansing ire is op?
7. your compare doesnt fit, cause mesmer has no 90% 3 illusions up. where adrenalin is full really fast
So mesmer have smart opponents who know how to deal with illusions, and warrior have stupid ones who don’t have a slightest idea how combination “adrenaline gain – finisher” works. Riiight.

Cleansing Ire adrenaline = you under heavy pressure. Zerker stance adrenaline – lol, good luck with wasting 1 min defensive CD just for adrenaline. Btw, mesmer in most popular builds can just dodge twice and press one weapon button to get 3 illusions up.

As many know I main guardian mesmer and thief…and never even tried engi, and lemme guess…you are wvsw hero? Since i can find you nowhere…
WvW, tPvP, hotjoin, and have every class for every mode (finished leveling thief today so I can try him in wvw too). And when I’m looking at your endless complaining, I think that your experience with different modes and classes is quite limited.

You know, just because they buffed necro to an indecent spam to win level that was not an excuse to buff warriors even more just to counter them…you can’t just look at an op class and then buff someone elso to a more op level in order to counter the already broken one… Necros were (Well…are) broken after dumbfire patch and the only reason why they’re sort of controllable atm is because there are warriors even more braindead around…and meanwhile other classes just got kittend out of meta…we’re warriors vs necros wars 2….bad management is bad…no kitten

What we really should be talking about is the OP ele movement on spirit watch. 600 range RTL every 40 seconds?!?! Who let that one out of internal testing amirite!?
Actually, when SW was out, ele movement skills was absolutely gamebreaking for this map. You can search old topics and read it by yourself. It was fixed later by various mechanic tweaks.

funny fact, if i use inf. arrow on my thief with orb, i lose orb… warrior can use GS spells and zoom across the map w/o losing orb….
not to mention, some classes can run really fast with orb w/o run speed punishment, while other classes get shafted
L2difference between teleport skills and movement skills. Warrior skills are affected by slow effects (never noticed 1/2 travel distance on sword leap and gs rush/WW? Oh, I forgot, you never actually played a warrior) and cannot carry you out of immobilize (without picking traits specially for that), thief SB is literally “lel I can mash this button and port across all map”.

If you give Warriors access to near perma protection, engis can have healing signet too.
Mesmer pretty much has a refined version of Healing signet and I don’t see nearly as much QQ about them.
Its called heavy armor your pretty much always have protection compared to an engi with medium armor can I has my healing singet now.
Protection is *1.5 to armor. Can I be full zerker with 3k armor, plz?

If you cap a point and someone was already there capping it before you got there you should get -1000000000 rank points and -10000000 glory and all your PvP achievements should be nullified and restarted.
Seriously, how long has the game been out? Why the kitten are people still stacking onto a single point in order to cap it.
Because anet reverted reward system, now you have to get scores to get any decent rank points/glory again.

HS, adrenal health, and regen boon is around 1100hps. I think I can probably bump mine up to 1200hps, not sure if 1300hps is possible though. I dont actually run this build unless the server has trouble holding a keep from a large zerg though.
You can also throw in a 43.5 second aoe aegis every 48 seconds with monk runes if you’re into that lol.
HS, adrenal health and regen from banner is ~907 hps with 1500 healing power. I not even mention how laughable your damage will be with that amount of healing power.

I don’t want Healing Signet to be changed, but if anything needs to be changed at all I feel it is that. It is hugely debatable, and it should be debated Harper. 80% of the warriors I see in every aspect of the game are running Healing Signet and I personally run Healing Signet. All I’m saying is that if there is any issue with the warrior that needs a nerf, it’s Healing Signet, not mobility skills.
And what you can give instead of HS? All other skills are joke in terms of sustain.

My warrior build has 2,872 armor with a zerker amulet on.
The old “OP” cleric’s amulet bunker ele had 2,580 armor.
Old ele was loaded with boons (protection, regen and vigor says hello) and stupidly high heal, from almost dead to full every few seconds.

The problem is that a hammer warrior can go for Zerker Amulet for full damage, for he gets all the armor he needs from the defense traitline, which is needed for hammer.

The problem is they do not have to do high damage, in zerg switch to hammer or keep the GS. When your zerg is failing run like hell to get away.

tell me, oh enlightened one, how a condition ranger should catch a gs only warrior.
As soon as the target is further than 1.2k range away, it’s practically gone. The only chance is turning your back to the opponent, use sword 2, waste stun breaker, select opponent, sword 2 again… And the opponent will just whirl away again.
Because this is not even a duel? He cannot kill you, you cannot kill him. If you are using same logic, then if you run as bunker against bunker and no one can land a kill for 20+ min, you both must go to forum and start screaming “I cannot kill X spec, kitten immortal ANET FIX IN SO BROKEN OP”.
