Ok, if you’ve done multiple support tickets, you should close them. Just stick to the one that they’ve replied to. On the ticket they’ve replied to, let them know you’re still unable to access your other account, and give them as much information as you can (the account’s serial for HoT, date of purchase, payment method used, etc.).

So, you have submitted a support ticket? What exactly did they say? Keep in mind that a bug report isn’t a support ticket; you have to do support tickets outside of the game.

The Tormented and Dragon’s Jade weapon sets are my favorites, but I also really love the pistol and hammer from the Aetherblade set.

No, you can’t. If you try to whisper someone you have blocked, you get an error. You have to either unblock that person or simply appear offline. Check your facts.

OP: They’re not whispering you while they have you blocked; they’re either Invisible or are taking you off block/putting you back on block. Simply block them.

What’s wrong with not using it? It’s much less effort for me to delete the game than to be annoyed by that thing.

Unless you frequently change IPs, you won’t ever even have to use the authenitcator after setting it up.

The HoM bug has been fixed for a couple of months now.

To quickly get only 10 points, it’d be best to do Nightfall + EOTN, in my opinion. I say this because those two campaigns give you access to heroes. However, if you plan to get more than just the 10 points, I’d just go ahead and get the Trilogy + EOTN.

No. The first 10 days of sales stacked ontop of eachother (meaning day 1-10’s items stayed for the first 10 days). The rest of the sales won’t.

It’s probably not coming back for this sale, no. You could try contacting support, letting them know you were unable to get the sword because of the delay in getting your gems.

To get that, you have to kill the giant Plague Carrier Abomination that spawns towards the end of the Amber Escort, and then you have to stand in its corpse to get the Wurm Attractant.

As far as I know: Not for beta characters, no. You can only create them during the beta events. But I honestly don’t know for sure about that.

As I said, no, there’s no way to change it yourself. Since you bought your Ring of Red Death so recently, you could try contacting support to see if they might let you switch out for a different one. But that’ll be up to them.

You can have two ascended berserker rings if you want to. You just can’t have two of the exact same ring on one character.

No. Only armor and weapons can have their stats changed in the forge. And you can only salvage the ascended gear once HoT drops.

Edit: As a side note, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t ever be able to change one ring to a different ring of the same stats anyway.

Of course you don’t – because Anet doesn’t give her that info. It comes from players.

ArenaNet does give early access however. A guide to the karka hunt achievement for example was up a few days prior to its release.

Except it wasn’t fully filled out until several hours after the patch went in.

That’s not something exclusive to using a commander tag. It happens to everyone. I’m not sure what factors cause it.

Don’t waste money on the gear boxes (2 Pieces of Class Gear). I also wouldn’t bother with using laurels for Obsidian Shards, dyes, gathering tools, or letters of commendation. The crafting bags can be a good purchase, especially Heavy Crafting Bags.

I bought ascended items for most of my characters with laurels (just because I didn’t need anything else). So, if you end up with laurels to spare and want to get ascended accessories for your character(s), you can do that. Just don’t buy the ones you can get for Guild Commendations; use the Guild Commendations for those, but use laurels for your amulets.

I personally wouldn’t use laurels for the wvw blueprints or crafting starter kits.

The rest is up to you.

You’ll need them for HoT to unlock your Elite Specializations. So, I make sure to grab them on all of my characters.

I got GW2 because I played GW1, and then I enjoyed the GW2 beta events.

No, there’s no way to change the animations.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the F2P accounts only get to select a home world once (hence the note about how you can change worlds when you upgrade when you hover over the greyed out World Selection button). Your friend could always just abandon that account and start a new one, using a different email address, to play on your server.

I was able to pick any not Full server when I made a free account, and I could choose EU or NA. Your friend probably chose Borlis Pass without really paying attention. Keep in mind that if you’re on a Full server, your friend will have a very hard time getting onto that same server.

Read the item description. It tells you what you need to do.

The food you’re trying to make requires a recipe (the consumable recipe item, that is). If it requires a recipe, then it won’t be made in the discovery tab. If you have the recipe, consume it on your Cooking character, and then make the recipe in the Production tab. Well, it could be a typo. But it could also be a lore-based name for the Tengu villages/homesteads/lands. An aerie is a name for a nest of birds of prey. In GW Factions there was a Tengu “village” called Aerie.

I’m not sure what the process is for upgrading a free account. But for upgrading an account to add HoT, you have to add the serial code to your game to activate it. So, your friend should make sure they don’t need to take additional steps to activate it.

As for your support ticket, it can take up to 72 hours to get a reply. However, it usually doesn’t take that long. Hopefully, he’ll hear back later today.

Go buy the tier 1 chest. That is almost always the missing one because most people get that skin by completing the level 20 personal story; unlocking it that way doesn’t count towards the achievement.

Not really, since you can get transmutation charges by playing pvp, doing map completion (one guaranteed for each major city, and a chance for one for every other map), daily login rewards, etc.

In your screenshots, btw, the items you’re displaying aren’t the Skins from the gemstore. They’re items you applied the skin to, which means you already used up your one free transmute of the skin on those items. So, every other use of the skin on a new item requires a transmutation charge.

I’d contact support about this, since it’s a pretty big bug for people affected by it.

You probably accidentally set a button/key to toggle Walk. Look at your keybindings in Options. If you see a key set for Toggle Walk, try pressing that key again to see if that works. It’ll be under Autorun in the menu, I believe.

I’m not sure where you saw that warriors are low damage and not wanted. They’re one of the most desired classes for group PvE playing. So, if you want to stick with your warrior, stick with it; it’s highly unlikely that they’ll suddenly become unpopular after HoT comes out.

As far as being boring to level, yeah, warrior is pretty much a no-brainer. But so is ranger, really. But if you want high survivability, easy to master, and powerful, then warrior is a good class for you.

I know what you mean. I once made a Blazing Saddles reference in map chat. No one got it, and I felt old.

Up until not too long ago, you used to run the risk of dying simply by running down a slope, even without actually falling.

They should have made it more pronounced that it was on sale(putting it in the highlights, deal of day or w/e) but instead all I saw was worthless minis. In the end I’m kittened. I don’t think the quiver was in the gem store the same day as the minis. The minis went in during the morning on the 31st, and the first 10 Days items (including the quiver, which was put in on the morning of the 29th) were gone before those were put in. I do agree that sometimes they need to make sure the sale items show up in the Highlights area, but you could also just make sure to check the Promotions tab (which will always have the current sale items up).

Just destroyed all rewards from Caithe’s Reconnaissance Squad as protest against this, because they not allowed me to do ahievements at the same time! Even ahievement icons was inactive, i’ve tried to exit it several times to get them… After completed it and back to that location and i don’t see entry point to replay it. You have to complete an entire chapter before you can unlock the achievements. Sorry, but there’s no way around that as that’s how it’s set up; play through the chapter once to unlock the achievements, and then replay chapters as needed to do their respective achievements.

I hope you didn’t actually want your rewards for completing that one part because they’re gone now (unless you do the whole chapter again on a different character).

I just checked on my free account, and I was able to read the forums just fine. You just can’t log into the forums because you’re not allowed to post on those accounts.

Also, you can log in to the website by hovering your cursor over Services (top right side of the page) and selecting My Account. Doing so pulls up a log in page.
