That makes me sick to my stomach. I dint rank up fast because I’m constantly defending boderlands, but I still feel like I’ve put a ton of hours into WvW, but I’m not even a fraction as close to that rank.

That’s a moot point that has little to do with pointing out that Anet not immediately removing the tournament prices after the tournament is over when the competition for transfers is highest unfairly punishes all servers affected by it.

How would you know they intentionally tanked? Were you on FA and had access to the warzone? If not, then how would you know they tanked?

Its not a complaint I just believe that these skills should function this way. Normaly in Mist form or Elixir S you can’t do any moves what so ever. Its just used as an evade. If these skills are functioning as intended then Necromancers should be able to stomp in Shadow Form. If your turned into a Moa you should be able to stomp. And a Ranger pet should be able to stomp.

You can actually stomp in all of these forms, except for ranger pet cause that’s just dumb. You can even stomp in plague form for necro.

Could this be because I moved from EU to NA in the middle of the tournament?

I’m not sure what the exact requirements are, a Dev posted on the issue not long ago, but you will be associated with the Server you are most active on within the Tournament.

‘Your world association will be based on your participation throughout the tournament. If you play on multiple worlds during the tournament, the world you represented the most will be the one with which you are associated. We are adding a new Battle Historian NPC to all the WvW maps who will tell you which world you are associated with.’

There is no skill in the book that will work against groups attacking one person or teams of more then 3 on 3 going after small groups. That is unfair. There is nothing that can help a person if people in a PvP type place can do when people just camp bodies til they get up and then take them down again for no reason. Its full of people being bullies and acting like they are to be worshiped for being wannabe alpha dogs. When these ‘Alpha Dogs’ actually face a person one on one instead of bringing their boys with them when they attack one person then it might be more fun.

When bursting, cast basilisk venom and all the signets. Use Cloak and Dagger and steal during the animation and immediately backstab. After that, finish them off and run – you don’t want to fight fair with this build. On T1 servers you’ll find people in WvW during all hours . Coverage is king due to high amount of players. But this usually leads to big zerg vs. zerg wars.

You will find good guilds in both T1 and T2.
The difference between T1 and T2 is not the guild quality but coverage and communication/organisation.

NAT2 has 100x better guilds than T1. No one in T1 except for APeX can beat the likes of HOPE,PYRO,ARK,AGG,NS etc

Outside of balancing issues, bad players, etc, we have the DC. Someone just dced in a high profile match and guess what? The game resumes. Just look at league of legends and their thriving esports scene; everything is played on lan, effectively eliminating DC, and online tournaments have a pause function.

There are no such things as “cheap builds” in spvp.

I also think KISS off of gunnars hold is worth a mention here, I’ve seen them handle 70man blobs with 20 rather casually

As for my opinion, i’ve been on so many different servers, half of anet’s revenue last year was probably from me transferring around, the other half would be the AGG costs of transfers. I think dF from far shiverpeaks really stand out, iNk from gunnars deserves a mention, EP from whatever server they are on now, i pugged around with ST a few times and they were really good too.

Meta got worse? In my experiance meta hasnt changed at all …. in tourneys ppl still run double wars, with hambow or swords, ppl still run 1 bunker guard, 1 spirit ranger …. Only thing change i saw was that eles are stronger, necros with thousand ultralong fears, fewer decap engis. Tho i havent notice, as some ppl say, those “op” engies with strong burns, at least nothing/noeone that would stand out.

Op builds/proffesions are still op, just as before … nothing changed about toning them down …. war nerf was joke. Many new traits are joke (PvP point of view).

Still needs time to adjust. This patch was a big one, people are still playing the old meta b/c that’s what they’re familiar with. Once people figure out how to play with the new stuff, then it will change.

No, it’sdecided by world placement within gold/silver/bronze. Yes, a bronze league server could get the #1 prize if they came in first.

Your world placement is determined by how well your server does during the season. For example, if you were on buygate and you won all of your matchups, you would have 45 points in total (9weeks multiplied by getting 5 points each time you come in first), which would net your first place in your league, so you get first place rewards.
