What I learn for my 3rd week of WvW:

- Enemies like to join you just to insult you
- I can beat “pro player” even if I just started 2-3 week of pvp/wvw.
- DB has almost no point, because JQ and FA work more together just to make sure JQ is #1, FA is #2, and DB loses a lot. From spying to making sure DB is barely outnumbered, DB will definitely end up 3rd. I expect this to be a huge trend, where servers will ally against whoever they don’t like, making WvW absolutely kittened. I expect a lot of players to quit or change server non stop in a very close future. GW2 community will die even faster except if Arenet finally decide to improve the balance between servers.
- DB did pretty well considering they were attacked by 2 servers non stop.
- I hope JQ and FA get destroyed. I would gladly spy for whoever is their opponents.
- Can’t wait for the next hour

More like JQ just cancels out DB’s nightcapping squad so they don’t have a dominant timezone to carry the server unlike JQ’s SEA and Euro and FA’s late night crew

It’s certainly neither lore-friendly nor is it terribly engaging (no real possibility of an identity; exceptionally descriptive). HOWEVER, it reminds me of GW1 days when people could just make PvP characters and name them whatever they wanted because “I want to run 7 interrupts on my bar NOW and I don’t want to invest in a PvE character to do so!” Mind Kitten feels like a name in that vein and so for that I won’t fault you. Also, you chose my favorite face.

Might I recommend Fort Aspenwood?

We have an easy week this week, but I can assure you, if we get matched up with DB or TC or even Mag + a server that’s not mostly dead, we can put on an amazing show. We were the underdogs of T2, consistently placing 2nd place while TC & Db/Kain battled it out for first. We do not field full queue zergs during the weekdays on every single borderland, only in EB.

Might I recommend Fort-Aspenwood?

Our North American presence is well established, and we have at least 1 60 man zerg moving across borderlands the entire day. Our oceanics however, are quite hit or miss because some nights it’s uA’s guild missions and sometimes AVTR takes a night off. However, with the leader of our largest oceanic guild by far coming back from a 2 month hiatus, our oceanic presence does outmatch Sea of Sorrow’s by a large mile. When the matchups were TC/DB/FA, our oceanic was by far our most consistent timezone.

Our SEA is indeed one of our weaker timeslots, but not by alot. With DPS coming in a few months back, our SEA presence has increased phenomenally and we can hold our own during SEA primetime against the likes of DB, provided we have another server with similar SEA coverage to us (ex. TC). Our SEA community is still growing, with militia commanders stepping up so DPS doesn’t need to turtle our BL so much anymore.

Admittedly, I don’t think we actually have 1 fully fledged european guild, but with school out, we have a commander from [RET] running WxP trains all day covering for our European presence. However, since any other server that’s not TC or T1 doesn’t have much of an European presence anyway, this isn’t a problem.

Lastly, we queue 2 maps on average (EB + a BL) and maybe 3 on good nights. We always have 1 empty borderland that needs an organized force on it. We also have a community Ts3. Hope you choose Fort Aspenwood as your new home, we could really use you when we get into tough matches later on.

Edit : If Fort Aspenwood is not your target destination, may I recommend SoS, JQ or TC? Honestly, I would say DB, but a lot of their “old guard” has left because of newer transfers and they may implode like what happened to kaineng

I came here back in december from CD because I was impressed with their tactics. I’m still an active WvWer to this day, with no burnouts and all I can say is this server is amazing.

I don’t think FA is t2 material yet. We can’t dominate or at least pull ahead every single hour of the day, so we probably don’t have to coverage to take on a T1 server + TC

I think you misquoted the guy with the added quotation marks. Why manipulate the connotation of one of our best surgical strike guilds? I could care less for any of the parties involved because the server for which I contribute is winning. It isn’t winning because of 5 people. It is winning because we are a nation of people in friendship and harmony. We are a nation of many nations. We divide and conquer as many nations contributing towards one. Defer to your 5 on 5 and your definition of winning and lose as defined by the definition of winning in WvW. Score update?

Looks like Maguuma is falling behind. If anyone is looking for a server Maguuma needs a WvW boost. Great friendly community, minimal trolling, and a love for large active zerg guilds.

So what I’m getting out of this thread is Kaineng sucks but has a lot more people than maguuma

and then maguuma and kaineng gets to tier 3 and CD and DB will be the least of aspenwood’s problems

Just wondering. Servers will probably face eachother in the near future probably around tier 3 and I’m one of the tier 3 people.
