Yes only AOE should be Swift, heal (Group) and debuffs except maybe some ranged skills that have AOE damage but then the damage should divide between players that get hit, so say it do 5k damage and 5players get damage they get 1.5k / player (bit more then max).

Then all melee will need to run after the one you attack to be able to hit him them not just press keys and you hit everything around you, to get away from ranged attack you can then use LOS but now the ranged attack don’t aim one they simple burst damage all over.

Same with siege if Arrow cart hit 20 it will do less damage to players then if it hits 5, and ofc same with Treb/Cat if they hit between wall so it hit 2 walls it will do 50% on both walls.

Arena net is going the wrong way, they make it easyer and easyer instead off more skill based, remove 80% off all AOE skills and change them to single target is a good step, lower damage area on ram, Balsita, Treb, Catpult with 1/10 its now, not ko on treb.

Then it will be a challange to kill.

In this case anet would have remove melee aoe skills completely, unable to move while using a skill and possibly add something like 2 seconds cooldown between skills to balance it all out.

No, your at a disadvantage as it is defending so making it even harder to defend is the wrong way to go.

Instead make a secret entrence so defenders can get in defend a building.

yea, this is complete bull.

If you’re just going to post miss-information please don’t bother to post at all. its going to make users think that laptops cannot play games for more than 15mins, and that is just not true at all.

Even if you take like ASUS ROG G751JL it still not made to run games long time every day, if you set one on bechmark for 1week nonstop and they will die.

The big problem is that all AEO attack behave like grenade but don’t demand that you throw it in an arch and that Arena net need to fix, they removed LOS on Ballista to and ofc all Catapult/Treb shoots can damage even do they hit ground 5-10m in front of the wall.

So no matter what you can see it still should count from your character to the goal and se can this work and that would for the first time give you a advantage to be on top off a wall.

I can buy more that a AC can Clean wall then AOE attacks from players.
Or rater i would prefer if they counted from the Siege/player what it can hit not what you can se, like a AC to close to the wall will hit the wall, AOE that’s not like hand grenade will not hit on top off wall at all, only at the edge, if you stand under roof with AOE like hand grenade you will get 0 damage and so on. (AC under roof will hit nothing, except the roof)

No no no most Epic fights i ever hand was in Knight Online, there 1 8man Group cod fight against 30-40 and win if they were good. And if you were abit AFK you were dead in less than 2sec, why that was so fun was you had class that was unique like Healers that healed, warrior that took damage/gave damage, Assassin that cod stealth and run fast, heal them self and do kittenload of damage but died easy, mage that cod chose damage=fire, help was light/ice were they slowed down enemy and all mage had teleport skill so they selected 1 in group and teleported it to it place, so usually you had 1-2healers were one was battle healer (good damage and debuffs, low armor) 2-3 mage so they cod run different directions and the one with list enemy following TP all to him, 1-3 warriors, 1-3assassin (rangers everyone hated).
And they had penalty’s that was extreme, if you died you lost 50% off the coin you had on you to the enemy (if you forgot to place it in bank) if you died by NPC you lost 5% exp and at high lvl 1% exp took about 1hour to gain and it was extreme grind, that was battle priest/assassin cod go alone to exp spot and simple damage warrior that was tanking mobs so he had like 5% hp left get killed by mob then mob ran killed rest off part and you laugh as hell. More Sin cod stealth and run in to enemy camp were tower defended, do 1combo and then fast type /town and if you had 50% or more hp it worked otherwise tower killed you and 5% lost, cod also use Mage to tp away sin, warrior with healer cod tank towers and let sin/mage run in kill enemy in start area (usually they had coin on them there), I remember one player that had a lot off coin on him and we killed him saw it so Warrior in tank healer heal let’s kill him again and again and again so he lose all coin ? (he curst use and every orc hunted our clan after that).

More sin and rangers cod have a skill running so all in the party saw enemy’s in stealth when they were close, so a mage (usually mage or BP) that the sin picked to kill when he ran in to start area cod se the hidden sin and just before he attacked hit him so stealth went away and towers killed him.

And you had to choose, for damage on priest you had to sacrifice protection, all armor was set so priest armor need int and to damage priest need str to carry warrior weapon, but when they add so much str they cod only use lvl 2 of 6lvl armor.

More they had evil anvil were you cod upgraded armor/weapon to lvl 10 (epic was lvl 8 or higher) but to make 1 lvl 8 you need about 50 lvl 7 (49 failed and was no more) and to make a lvl 7 you need 10 lvl 6 and so on. So more then 1 a friend of your all of a sudden had a lvl 6 instead of a lvl 8 weapon because he tried his luck in evil anvil.

A other Thing i would like is a new abilities-line now when they lower the cost off all that do so both type of food last longer, something like 15min 4 first and 30min 5step so normal 30min food last for 2hours. Only works in wvwvw.

The idea with cap then leave it alone and then 5hours later it fully upgraded without any dolys or anyone even been to the building feels bad. It only promote more PVD without defense.

The idea were it is how many dolys that make it to building / leave camps the count and then 1 player must go select upgraded x on building without any cost I think sound like a good middle ground, yes players can mess with the server but better that then no activity what so ever is required.

The big problem here is it can be all DDOS attacks that is going on that the server get hurt by even if it’s not there servers that get attacked, because not all have lag issues at the same time.

Yes and they remove 2 lines that everyone now have so no one wants them, so you free up 230points more with no were to Place.

To dumb down the game i think is bad, to make it easier and remove chose from Buildings, like sometime you want WP sometime you want Wall/gate first, camp you sometime want extra guards (doly guards) and sometime 2x supply, soon they will have so building build siege and use the siege too as this is pointing.

It goes totally the wrong way from what I want were you only get server points from active playing.

When i played yesterday (scouted) I came up with easier rules on claiming buildings and the buff for dolys so I edit my first post, building the guild with most buff can claim building from other guild and dolys simple have time you escort the doly that give the different lvl.

Why wouldn't this idea work for WvW

2 of my 6 character have done that so there you have a big problem and it would make it even easier to spy on the enemy when you can have character on your account in all 3 sides.

Penalties, for playing with my friends? That is atrocious. Get more friends or go away, but do not try to implement rules that penalize the rest of us for doing so. Why should I be penalized for having a large guild and large friends list, and trying to play with those friends? That is an absurd concept.

If you have 100friends that manage to get in to WvW map congratulation.

As it is now ever server run with Map blob because you have no penalty’s only benefits with it.

Blob fight you will never manage to stomp so you miss out of 2-5point/kill with smaller Group will gain.

The hole Point off no static tick is so the server decide we will defend Garry, Crag, Sunny, North camp nothing else and then upgraded those 4 spots, with then make it so primary target for enemy is the upgraded buildings not as it is now red take bay run away, blue take bay run away green take bay run away red take bay run away and so on.

Ps i am on SFR and we win every week because we have the best night/morning cap team but it feels so boring to win every week without any fight.

No tick points only points for active play, kills is worth 1point stomp 2points + 1-3points if you have bloodlust.

RIP small groups and solo roamers. All this will do is make players blob more than they already do. Also whats the point of even having towers and keeps if they don’t impact the score? Why would you even try to defend against a zerg if what you are defending doesn’t impact the score? Why try to engage a larger group when you will most likely die and give the other server points? Why even try to take a tower? Why even have towers anymore? Why even play???

Then we come to buildings, I start with defense because there my idea is simple, don’t matter with lvl the upgraded is for points on defense and why it is simpler to defend the better the building is upgraded, so the points is counted on how many that attack the building and it is 3 lvl, for camps 1-3 lvl 1, 4-9 lvl 2, 10+ lvl 3, tower 2-6 lvl 1, 7-14 lvl 2 15+ lvl 3, Keep 2-9 lvl 1 10-19 lvl 2 20+ lvl 3 SM 2-14 lvl 1 15-29 lvl 2 30+ lvl 3 (1 player should be able to put building in combat without giving enemy points, if 1 player attack east gate and 1 west gate without siege it counted as 1) what the points should be for the different lvl I leave to Arena net.
Then we come to attacking a building: here I think the upgrade off the building should be counted as 40% and how many defenders to 60% off the total points gain if you take it.
The upgraded should be like this for tower, Keep, SM:
0-1 upgraded = 0%
2-3 upgradeds = 10% (off the max 40%)
4-5 upgradeds = 25% (off the max 40%)
6+ upgrades = 40% so max
And I think this 7 should be counted for Towers Reinforced Wall, Reinforced Gate, Fortified Wall, Oil, Canon, Mortar, 2 works. For Keep/SM Reinforced Wall, Reinforced Gate, Fortified Wall, Canon, Mortar, WP, 2 works. Why I added 2 works was so you can’t upgraded that line totally and leave Mortar on tower and keep it at lvl 2.
Camps:
0-1 upgraded = 0
2 upgrades = 10%
3 upgrades = 25%
4 upgrades = 40%
Here I would like that Arena net add 5% faster walk on Dolys on upgraded 3 and 4 so you want those upgrades.

Change so Siege counts as more players for swords, normal ram/cata/Treb = 5players, superior ram/Cata/Treb/guild cata = 10players, alpha golem = 10players, Omega Golem 15players. Then add more colors on Sword, white 1-24 Yellow 25-39 Red 40-59, 60+ flashing the whole mini map and black arrow pointing were.

Add a Guild buff that you can add on Buildings that make CD on siege to 4hours and the guild buff last for 24-48hours.

To claim a building you need primary buff running, tower, keep, SM one off the defensive buffs, supply camp +5 supply, when all buffs run out you lose the claim.
More I would like is when you claimed a building you can set limitation how much supply players can take out when building is not attacked (no swords) and you get warning if you take supply when under limitation that you will be enemy to this building, take supply [Yes] [No] and if you press yes the guards will attack you and the gate turn red so you can’t go in/out as long as the guild have the claim.

Other guild can take over the building if they have more buffs then the owner. First primary buff count if all of them are running then +5 then magic buff and so (tower, keep, sm).

To get players to run in smaller groups add penalty, something like 35-50players +5% damage taken 51 +10% damage taken.

Give Scouts buff that give more WXP, better karma and Magic find, the buff is 2x the time you scouted, you get 1 tick every 15min (30min buff) scout time only count when building is not under attack, the timer start to count when you leave the area your scouting, when you have scouted for 15min you can leave for 5min when you have 1hour+ you can leave for 10min to get supply and so without starting from 0 again, the counter should show how long you been scouting, if the building is lost you lose the buff.

Escorting Dolys should give a buff were bronze give you + 1 supply you can carry Silver +2 Gold +3 supply you can carry and it last for 1hour (only successful escorts), it don’t stack but the 1hour is reset/you get higher if you had bronze and then do Gold you get +3 instead off + 1 if you Escort again within the hour you have the buff. To make it harder to get gold do so 3-5min escort time = bronze, 5,01-7min = silver, 7,01 + = gold.

Change so you cannot ress dead player when in combat and so when you’re dead you can’t see any enemy players.

Add under guild upgraded so you can make your own guild emblem with you send in to Arena net and if its ok you can use it.

When queue on the map lower AFK timeout to 5min and if you run against a wall to 2min, if you have scout buff and are in scout area AFK timer normal 10min.

+ 5 is not that important, in defense on a building its totally pointless, if you have a lot off defenders the first thing attack force do is make sure the building get to 0 supply with removing Canon, small attack gate x then move to next and so on until its empty, so better armor, more hp, more damage than +5 on empty Building, personally never want +5 on a building if its not a keep with 1200 + supply. This is ofc bigger servers like SFR and so.

Have siege in bank/Guild bank and only take out what you nedd and problem solved, bank/Guild bank you can allways get to in border maps.

In a game based on supplies, yes, all these constant supplies left behind due to “sry i can’t +5” are a real deal.

Any Guild can if they cap it. (are main force to cap it)

2) A guild with +5 should be able to take over a guild with no +5. Why:
Piles and piles of supplies are unused in depots simply because a guild claimed with no +5 (or it expired).

Supply camp yes other building no, to claim a building you should have to have buff running, camps +5, Tower, Keep, SM defensiv buff and when buff run out you lose hte claim.

3) Golem owners should be able to kick people inside them. Why
Kick from own siege works for all siege alredy; why not also for the expensive golems?

4) Mystic forge recipes to get 10x blueprints.
Just refreshing an old suggestion, i know.

Would prefer if you hold shift/alt you get to select how manny you want to make.

5) After a capture, supplies should briefly (like 5 sec) be impossible to take. Why:
So people can start an upgrade if needed before it gets drained.

Simple say no one take supply and stand next to were upgrader spawn.

6) Blueprints and traps should be shared between all characters inventory. Why:
Managing all the siege/traps spread across 8 characters is annoying and confusing.

Dont feel the need for it.

7) /supplyinfo should have a wider AOE and be easier/faster to do. How and Why:
“stack pls” – “/supplyinfo” too much to type for a very frequently needed supply scan which also has a too small radius. Increase the aoe radius and add a “push to sup count” button for commanders.

Sounds good.

8) Major upgrades shouldn’t be available for low WvW exp players. Why:
As shown in the video: “hire additional guards” instant -600 supplies while enemies are attacking. Classic. Usually mistakes done by new WvW players simply trying to help. But since upgrades can harm, the power to start the big ones should be granted later; hopefully by that time they’ll have learned from more exp players what is best to do with upgrades.

No, if anything do so only players from owner Guild can do upgrades, but then you need peneltys for losing Buildings so it is a danger to claim.

9) Limit N° of rams deployable x gates. Why:
Siege wars should be based on strategy, not on mindless bruteforce ram spamming.

Here i would prefer they did better LOS, smaller damage area and gates on keep is 2 parts so if you have 4rams and they 2 hit left 2right it will be same as 2 rams hitting 1 off the gates. (same with wall parts and all wall parts should be able to be damaged)

10) Change PvD. How and Why:
PvD should only come in help in those situations where you lowered a gate to 10-15% but the enemies destroyed your rams and you don’t have supplies for more. Gates should take PvD damage only at 10-15% or below. For tagging/contested purposes they can still be attacked even when above 10-15%, but won’t receive dmg.
And since the game shouldn’t give advantages to blobs: the dps that each player can do to a 10-15% gate should be a fixed ammount and should scale based on how many players are close to that gate.

I dont know part off me would prefer that players cant damage at all and that your own siege can damage so you cant Place a treb behind gate then you will destroy your own gate, but to make that then you also need so players can destroy siege, Canon, mortar with AOE attacks only mele attacks (sword, hammer, axe).
