These two issues have been reported by several players over in the bugs forum.

It is likely something they will look to fix in a future build, but we have no way of knowing how high it is on their priority list or when it will be fixed. :\

Blurry Character textures and armor

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

This subsample character texture issue has come up before for others that are using older generations of AMD graphics cards with the latest beta drivers.

The latest 14.7 Beta drivers were released on July 10th. It is likely that you recently installed these drivers (or as others have reported, were automatically updated to by CCC).

You will need to uninstall your current drivers and install the latest officially released ones for your OS and consider not running beta drivers on your card in the future.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Others mentioned simply doing a system restore back to before the beta divers were released and installed (July 10th in your case) as making the drivers revert to the previous, non-beta drivers and fixing the issue. However, I would recommend downloading the latest drivers, uninstalling the current ones and installing the latest considering system restore might not be advisable depending on what it will revert for you.

(some other threads about it in the past with their pics of the issue: [ 1 ] [ 2 ])

Anyone recognize this armor in this video?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Also as a note for future inquiries you may have about an armor, there are some good sites that include images of all the armor in GW2 that you can look through to determine which armor it is.

Here is the one I use: Argos-Soft.net
It also has a real good filtering option.
Searching: Human > Male > Heavy shows this armor as the first one in the second row.

I hope this is useful to you.

While looking around Dry Top, I find myself asking “Wait, will I hurt other players by doing this event?” That’s a question we should NEVER have to ask ourselves. I won’t be surprised if it starts to turn Dry Top as toxic as Queensdale occasionally used to be during the champ train days.

Why would completing an event in Dry Top hurt another player? At the very worst, you’re ‘taking’ the miniscule geode reward for yourself and contributing to the next tier of rewards. Every event that gets completed is beneficial to the entire map, and the faster it gets completed the better. You have no reason whatsoever to feel guilty about doing an event. If you do, that’s not really a fault of the map.

And if I get in over my head and fail the event?

I can see an event marked ‘Group Event’ failing by someone trying to solo it, but I don’t hold this against the player. I say good for them for trying to challenge themselves! Some ‘Group Events’ can be soloed by an experienced player, and many of them are more fun to solo if they possibly can be (legendary giant…yeah, a solo of that will never happen).

Unfortunately for some unsuspecting players, there are several events that are not labeled as being a ‘Group Event’ that are far more difficult than they should be for a single player to complete. These events do not seem to scale properly if only one person is taking part in it to where it can’t possibly be successfully completed without a group, which means it should have been labeled as a ‘Group Event’ but was not for some reason.

I do not see this as being the fault of a lone player for initiating an event and trying to take it on solo, but the fault of someone involved in the design of that event for not having it scale properly based on there being few participating players in the area, or for not marking it properly as being a ‘Group Event’ when it has the difficulty of a group event.

Also on the topic of events failing, I’ve not really looked into or noticed any other event in Dry Top that can be griefed, but there is one event that a single player can grief others and intentionally cause the event to fail (depending on the participant-griefer ratio and maybe the spawn time of the event items). I’m not sure the designer of this event took the potential for griefing into account when it was designed, which is odd considering they are usually really good about designing them to prevent it from being an issue.

The link in the client that goes to the news page for Points of Interest Episode 3 goes to the right page showcasing Episode 3, but the address of the actual page says it is for Episode 2.

Minor issue since it all works fine, but it was misleading when it said it would take me to the news page to watch Episode 3 and the page that gets opened says Episode 2 in the address.

https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/points-of-interest-episode-2

Page link should say episode 3, not 2.

Just logging in doesn't count to unlock?

in Living World

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

  • Check your Trading Post. Don’t leave it cluttered up with hundreds of transactions, do a little housekeeping!

People who are buying mats, zommy fodder, or containers (e.g. moldy bags) are likely to have hundreds of pending transactions. It’s constant weeding, rather than just “a little” housekeeping. A lot of times, folks will want to just play the new content rather than managing their inventory.

Accordingly, Gaile do you know if people who just logon (and enter the game world) are going to be able to unlock each chapter if they also have a full TP queue?

I ask because I have been sending out semi-monthly reminders to guildies who I know don’t have time to play regularly these days. I’d like to know if I need to update my advice to “logon and pick up stuff from the TP” or it’s ok “just logon and start up any character.”

Thanks.

According to captainteemo.6537’s post up there, it would seem to be that, as long as you logged into the game world at some point while the chapter was active, you can unlock it later on when another chapter is active as its becoming unlocked was queued up.

(evidenced by their stating that Chapter 1 and 2 unlocked at the same time upon their girlfriend’s emptying of the TP – so Chapter 1 had finally unlocked properly despite chapter 2 being the active chapter since 1’s unlocking had been in the queue to unlock since they logged into the game world during that chapter)

So you can:

  • Log into the game world while Chapter X is active and not unlock it properly due to having a huge TP pick up queue that gets left unemptied.
    Result: Chapter X unlock gets added to the queue
  • Then log into the game world when Chapter Y is active and still not officially unlock Chapter X or Y due to not emptying your TP pick-up tab.
    Result: Chapter Y unlock gets added to the queue
  • Then log into the game world when Chapter Z is active and finally empty your TP pick-up.
    Result: Chapter X, Chapter Y and Chapter Z all unlock at the same time due to reaching their point in the queue.

Since it gets backlogged, as long as a player enters the game world while a chapter is active, they can eventually get the official unlocks for the past chapters upon emptying the TP during a later chapter.

Finisher Randomizer

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Great idea, I’d love this too, as would my poor extra finishers I never remember to use.

Glad to hear you like the idea.
Also, this requested feature was already made over 3 months ago on April 14th by someone else and I even included a mock-up design in my reply there to help inspire ANet into making it a reality by having a visual of what it could be like.

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Randomize-Finishers

It is such a logical feature to have that it should already have been an option to select when more than one are unlocked. It’s never too late to add options like this. Hopefully they will.

Perhaps the first selection area should be a configuration box that has a drop-down selection to choose:

  • “Cycle from first to last”
  • “Cycle from last to first”
  • “Randomize”
    It should also have a tickable box to exclude limited-use finisher items from being randomized.

Included a mock-up.

edit
Updated image to include more options that may be desirable.

  • Cycling Method: disabled
  • Checkboxes on finishers
  • Option to cycle only selected finishers

Perhaps the finisher screen could even be redesigned to be similar to the achievement tracker to where players can drag and drop the finishers to be included in the cycling, and also to customize the order of the finishers for when they are in first-to-last and last-to-first cycling. Can throw together a mock-up of that version as well if desired.

I don’t know how this relates to the third-party policy, though, so use it at your own risk.

Ceterum censeo Carthaginem… uhmm… the big ugly target bar should be moveable somewhere less obstructive.

Ah, very good of you to do so. Thank you as well, RoyHarmon.

Just took a look at this tool YoloMouse, probably try it…. despite the name.

This.. is… AWESOME!!!! The default cursor isn’t the prettiest, but it’s a darn sight more visible

And you can put in your own cursors too if you like.

I second that!
Thank you for linking this app, Plok!

I have thousands of custom animated cursors that I love and now I can finally put them to use in GW2 to replace the one we’ve been stuck with for so long.

Idea about waypoints related to the LS

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

I actually think that my prediction is something they’ve very likely already discussed internally and maybe even decided upon implementing. I’m sure they came to discuss and consider your idea as well during their meetings.

I’d actually be surprised if they didn’t have discussions about all of these possibilities I mention (and many others neither of us have mentioned).

What they decided to do in the end, if anything, we can only wait and see.

Indeed. I can see it now:

  • Vines spread via waypoint system
  • Waypoint system gets taken offline (permanently?) to stop the spread of the vines
  • Players must travel everywhere by foot
  • New convenience only Gem Store item!
    • Mobile Waypoint Device! 1,000 gems (costs 10 silver per use)
  • New cosmetic only Gem Store items!
    • New Mount Designs!
      “Why travel on foot when you can traverse the landscapes in style on your own personal llama, bicycle or wheeled cart?!”
      - Same functionality as the Enchanted Broom and Sonic Tunneling Tool – does not provide any movement speed bonuses.

Adds gem store items and also a persistent gold sink that is higher than the current waypoint charge (even at level 80 at max travel distance) due to the fee per use. It will also please those wanting (more) “mounts”. Though, unlike mount designs common to other RPGs, they’ll continue to be cosmetic only and offer no speed boosts.

Though, perhaps not all waypoints would be taken offline. Maybe specific ones will remain (at zone transition areas and some dungeons), but the majority of them would likely be disabled or destroyed.

Open World PvE only, of course. Not relevant in instances/dungeons or even in WvW as that mode isn’t really affected by what happens in Living Story. No idea if PvP has waypoints at all, but if that mode does then it remains the same as WvW would.

This limited waypoint availability could potentially cause there to be fewer cries of outrage than there would likely be to a complete removal of all waypoints.

It would also bring resolution to the contested waypoint situation since any waypoint that could be contested will no longer exist, and Scarlet’s Mobile Waypoint Device can plop you down wherever you want (though limited to specific areas designated as viable exit points).

However, no matter how many waypoints are left online (if any), if Scarlet’s Mobile Waypoint Device is in the gem store we can be certain that there will still be many p2w outrage threads made by some who don’t seem to understand what p2w really means.

Alternates:

  • Instead of a 10s fee every time a player wants to use Scarlet’s Mobile Waypoint Device, they could even make a tradeable Mobile Waypoint Device Core Charge item that is needed for the device to function. Likely dropped from specific content that they wish players to take part in, but common enough for there to not be too small of a supply. Could also become a crafting component in the future for Mobile Waypoint Device upgrades or for other crafted items.
  • Instead of having tradeable Core Charges and all of the issues that come into play with that, make Scarlet’s Mobile Waypoint Device cost 700 gems and come with 10 Core Charges, and then sell packs of 5 Core Charges at 125 gems that are added to the wallet like the Transmutation Charges are.

edit
Replaced references of “MWD” with “Mobile Waypoint Device” as all I could see when I read MWD was Micro Warp Drive from EvE-Online.

Boom, Boom, BOOM! WAY to Loud!

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Is it a constant barrage of loud booms or just a single loud pop that seems to happen completely randomly? There has been an audio bug in the game since launch where the game would randomly pop VERY loud. Loud enough to completely startle you. It can not be corrected by any volume control either. Sent has acknowledged it though but, we have yet to get a fix for it. It happens everywhere from cities to dungeons to PvP. As for a constant rumbling sort of booming, I’ve never experienced this so I can’t say much on that. As someone who specializes in car and home audio, the loud popping noise seems to be an audio lag problem which causes the speakers to overload and pop. This is why volume controls don’t help it and it also has a faint echoing sound to it.

I still get the random loud boom/bang (heavy book dropping on a stone floor in a large library or church) sound you describe that people have experienced since beta, but I have not seen any word from the audio team if it is being worked on.

This issue is apart from that one to where it is actually numerous fireworks sounds blasting in your ear. Best I could tell in the past was the general direction the fireworks was coming from, but could not see any cause for them, let alone reason for their happening repeatedly.

Guild wars is disconnecting my internet?

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

I’ve tried the /clientport 80 solution, although I haven’t tried port 443. Between this post and the error code 7:11:3:189:101, I’ve seen surprisingly little solution to the issue. Thanks for the idea, I’ll give port 443 a whirl and see.

Additionally, across all the posts I’ve found on the issue, the only post that offers any real hint at a solution is seiffer.4971’s cryptic message “Adding -repair to the target destination under properties on the exe fixed this for me.”

Obviously this involves editing the .exe file, but if anyone can give a more accurate process on how to do this, I would gladly test this solution.

That would be the task of repairing the client if there is anything that needs repairing.
Check the game for errors and repair it

  • Close your game completely.
  • Next, make a copy of your Gw2 game shortcut and rename it “GW2 Repair” or to something that you will recognize it for being only for running a repair on your GW2 installation.
  • Now, right-click this “Gw2 Repair” shortcut and click on “Properties”.
  • On the “Shortcut” tab look in the “Target:” field, you should see:
    “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2” or wherever you have Guild Wars 2 installed.
  • After the closing quotation marks in this line put a single space and then add -repair
    It will look like this but with your GW2 install location:
    “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2” -repair
  • Hit OK after making this change.
  • Run this repair shortcut. Your game will run through a repair cycle and fix any damaged files it finds.
  • After it runs through, start the game using the normal GW2 game shortcut (not the repair shortcut).

Boom, Boom, BOOM! WAY to Loud!

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

I’ve never been able to pinpoint what was causing those outrageously loud fireworks booms to go off constantly in my ears. I thought there were players camped out around the maps with fireworks who blow them off and then run and hide to scare and confuse adventurers. It drives me nuts. I’ve had to mute my game many times due to the annoyance of fireworks constantly going off in my ears.

Thank you, Hamfast, for this. At least now I know what is causing it and I fully support your request for it to be adjusted appropriately.

Trading Post Armors

See, this is why no one takes you seriously StinVec. Not having a search feature by armor weight does NOT make the Trading Post broken, buggy or clunky – millions of transactions are conducted daily smoothly.

I’m sorry, who are you talking about? Nobody takes me seriously? I spend most of my time offering suggestions and helping people solve technical problems. You are the only person I have ever come across in my history on these forums stating something negative about me or about not taking me seriously.
Do you have a personal problem with me for some reason?

I treat your response as a personal attack and inappropriate and will report it as such.

Also, I never stated that one missing feature caused the TP to be broken, buggy or clunky. The TP is broken, buggy and clunky because of many other aspects of its temporary/beta design.

Bad Clipping – Aetherblade Warboots – Heavy – Sylvari

Species: Sylvari
Gender: Female
Class: Heavy Armor
Item: Aetherblade Heavy Warboots (Gem Store!)
Body Type: Still not numbered…see image
Issue: Boots clip horribly with skin of character model

Description:
The Aetherblade Heavy Warboots have severe clipping with the skin of the body.
Since the body types are still not numbered to reference which body type is encountering the clipping, I’ve included an image of the body types from a makeover kit with the current one encountering the issue.

Other body types may be encountering the issue as well, however, I did not check the other body types as that task should not be on the customer to do so and should have been done before the item was even released.

As this is not the first gem store armor reported to be clipping with the body of the actual (non-human) character model, please properly preview new Gem Store armors on each species/gender/body type to keep issues like this from happening and to ensure release of professional quality items to your consumers.

Mysterious Figure

in Living World

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

I would have say it might be Mr. E (Mr. Ed?.. .Mr. Equine?) if it wasn’t that because of the short story, chances are E is either a human, sylvari or rather short norn.

Unless it happens that Mr. E isn’t a single person in the first place.

“Mr. Exposition” has long been a term for an individual that only exists for exactly what the name portrays, which is exactly the role this mysterious Mr. E performs within the game. Mr. E is likely not even an actual character in the game that we will ever see and is just a tool the designers use for, well, exposition.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MrExposition

A character whose purpose is to provide “infodumps” and explain the plot. Ostensibly, this is for the benefit of the protagonists, but most of the time their real reason for existing is to provide exposition to the audience.

Yeah. :\ Pretty disappointing, really. They probably thought they were being witty or that it would be seen as funny and creative or something and did not expect people to actually write pages of theories on who it was or how they tied into the ongoing plot of the game.

Ahem, Mr.E is confirmed to be revealed this season. That means he’s an actual character.

Confirmed? Would you mind also providing a link to an in-game citation for this “confirmation” that who Mr. E is will be revealed this season?
An out-of-game “confirmation” would be acceptable as well, but anything out-of-game is subject to change so it should also be treated as nothing but a possibility and not set in stone.

Don’t know if this is new but this centaur in question does use emotes. Do other centaurs ingame use the sit emote?

Cheers,

Yes. Some other centaurs do use the sit emote when idling.
It’s a cheap thrill to sneak up on them and poke them while they’re sitting down on the job.

I still can’t see him :o

Macros for musical instruments?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

~~~ snip ~~~
The Devs already gave official word, yet you question it? Macros are not allowed, period. If you decide to use one, that’s up to you. If the Devs catch you and decide to perma ban your account, that’s up to them. At that point, they would have every right, since you’d be breaking the terms you agreed to. And one cannot say that Anet is ok with it should a Dev give you a break and not ban you. That would have been a warning of sorts, and you can still be banned for further used of a 3rd party macro program.
Hey, Penguin. Yeah, this year old thread was necro’ed. Already requested it to be locked.
I already had a reply written out citing the devs before I noticed it was a necro. I almost fell for it. Why do people necro threads like these? ugh…
Next patch (7/15/14) - "Entanglement"
in Living World
Posted by: StinVec.3621
StinVec.3621
My husband and I were just discussing this last night. Yes, he’s been asleep, but he seems to have been at least semi-coherent recently. It is plausible that he could have gained this information from Scarlet’s mind. What she knows, he now knows sort of thing. We don’t know if the communication went both ways, or if she could only hear him.
That left me wondering why you were discussing something with your husband when he’s been asleep and semi-coherent, and how he could’ve gained that information from Scarlet’s mind in the first place…
“he’s been asleep”, referring to Mordremoth, not her husband.
Yeah, I did that when we didn’t knew what they ment. Just wanted to see if there was any connection with the vines. I don’t think there is ,though.
What about the thumper in the middle of Lion’s Arch, where the Breachmaker was?
There are actually several thumpers missing from that image.
@Thiagugu
I agree and also do not think thumper placement has any real relationship to the vines and their interaction with waypoints, or at least not yet that we can tell.
[Suggestion] Ready Up & Point of Interest..... subtitles ?
in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
StinVec.3621
It’s a live event, and to expect them to waste time and money on this is ridiculous. I’d rather they work on other things than worry about subtitles.
Do subtitles being provided hurt you in some way or affect you in any negative manner to where you would be against their being supplied for all other people, and especially for those with possible hearing disabilities or language barriers preventing them from being able to enjoy the videos as much as you are able to?
[Suggestion] Ready Up & Point of Interest..... subtitles ?
in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
StinVec.3621
I used to transcribe for a youtube channel about space weather/sun, news and earth weather events. While these daily videos were known for being 4 minutes long, it was non-stop talking with almost no pauses, completely devoid of speech disfluencies, and involved a lot of “big” scientific and technical words and terms.
It would generally take me 10-20 minutes to transcribe, spell check and format…and this was with a single person speaking whose voice I was very familiar with hearing so I could tell exactly what words were being spoken.
I can only image how long it would take to accurately transcribe 30-40 minutes worth of live, unscripted and meandering audio that involves 2-4 people (this most recent involving a skype convo I didn’t understand a word of) all with different ways of speaking and pronouncing words (and possibly unfamiliar accents) with a lot of humorous and joking comments mixed in.
It really is quite a large task, especially if looking to get it out in a reasonable timeframe after the live stream finishes. I think it would be well worth the effort though!
Can Outfits be mix-match with Armor Skins?
in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Posted by: StinVec.3621
StinVec.3621
Unfortunately, no, outfits are completely separate from all other armor in the game and cannot be mixed. Though know that you are not alone in wishing that they would veer from this single outfit design release and consider making non-outfit versions of the those that have been released so elements of them can be mixed with standard armor designs.
@Eight O Eight, I think that is kind of unfair. I personally think that Kate is doing a great job!
I very much like Kate as well.
I think 808 was mostly referring to one or more guests who are the main source of the more noticeable speech disfluencies. This behavior is expected, though, when one is not used to a live filming environment that is coupled with a very odd combination of public speaking without a crowd of faces, as well as speaking on a topic that is not as clear and immediately relatable to an audience (especially when being very careful not to say something you are not allowed to say regarding unreleased and ‘secret’ content).
(just to note, it doesn’t bother me at all as I try to empathize and understand the speaker’s situation and cut them some slack)
Cultural armor not recognized
in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
Posted by: StinVec.3621
StinVec.3621
If you’ve bought other T2 Sylvari armor before, then that category was already credited to “The Emperor’s New Wardrobe” and “Sylvari Specialty Armors” with your first purchase.
If not, then I don’t know.
I have bought T2 before, but another weight-class (light armor)
I’m at a loss for an explanation then.
You might want to contact support and explain it to them and ask them to check your account and verify that all purchased cultural skins have been counted toward the achievements.
https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new
Select “in-game issue” and then enter all appropriate information.
Be sure to select “achievement issue” from the “Issue” area drop down box.
They will contact you via the email address you enter and all correspondence will be through email replies with them.
More information if you run into issues is available in the sticky threads over in the account sub-forum.
Cultural armor not recognized
in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
Posted by: StinVec.3621
StinVec.3621
Did you happen to purchase those heavy T2 armors in the past for a different character before the wardrobe was released?
Each individual cultural armor item purchase only counts once toward the cultural armor achievements. If you have ever bought those armor items before then they were already counted and will not be counted again to advance the achievements.
We kind of have to write down or keep a mental note of which ones have been purchased since there isn’t any checklist of which ones remain unpurchased and uncounted for the achievements.
Guild Armorer
in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
Posted by: StinVec.3621
StinVec.3621
Representing:
You must be representing the guild that has that upgrade trained up to access their armorer.
Guilds and Upgrades:
Guild upgrades are server specific. You must also have your home server for your account be the same server that the guild has the upgrade on to be able to access that guild upgrade.
So, if the guild trains that upgrade on the Eredon Terrace server, you must also have that server as the one your account is on and representing that guild to access that guild upgrade.
Are you sure you are on the same server that your guild has trained that upgrade on and that you are representing them?
Also, are you sure the Guild Armorer has finished training up and that it is not still in the process of being trained?
Vines next to “magical artifacts” from Tower of Nightmare and Belinda returning to Fort Salma? This won’t end well…
She seems to be pretty calm considering there is suddenly a huge spiked vine protruding from the ground right behind her.
Maybe she hasn’t even noticed it yet.
Should we tell her or let her turn around and discover it being there all on her own?
Zethyrite Lockpicks outside Dry Top?
in Living World
Posted by: StinVec.3621
StinVec.3621
The Story Journal has achievements that award lockbox keys and those achievements are not going away. And since the story and the achievements tied to each chapter can be done whenever, this seems to mean that the lockboxes are also not disappearing. This is also supported by there being a Dry Top Regional Achievement tied to our opening the lockboxes and those achievements are not going away either.
Keys will continue to be useful within Dry Top (or within Prospector’s Valley anyway) and are unlikely to ever go away.
As far as zephyr lockbox keys being of any use outside of that area, that is pretty unlikely.
Yeah that is definitely that cube thing we saw in this recent teaser.
Perhaps this cave in the new image is in the far background of this cap from the video.
Nevermind, the cave seems to be just behind the B-Iconics in the recent teaser since the rocks in the video and the rocks in the image are from the same perspective. (image 2)
So we’re getting a look at what the NPCs just walked through to get into that cave.
Looks pretty interesting.
The top pic seems to have been posted mainly to show off those odd platforms as we were already made aware of the giant’s involvement.
This bottom one…not quite sure what to make of the instruments, but seeing a crumpled steam creature and the makings of the cube inside the cave that we saw in the other images/diagram in scarlet’s apartment is pretty interesting. Surprised to be able to see it in there from outside of the cave though.
3710g for a perm hair style contract!?
in Black Lion Trading Co
Posted by: StinVec.3621
StinVec.3621
I would guess thousands of players want the option to swap their hair around regularly, as there are thousands of RPers. Fancy party? Time for a posh bun with gems! Stuck in the swamp duking it out with Inquest? Bring on the dirty tangle!
But it would have to be offered in line with armor sets and outfits.
I don’t think I’ve bought any kits directly, thanks to drops from chests and dailies. But I’ve been super sparing with using the ones I have, actually applying a new look only when it really is much better for the character than what I had before. If I could buy a permanent kit, I’d be very very very happy — that doesn’t mean I’m going to put up thousands of gold for it.
There are threads requesting the makeover kits to be integrated into the Hero Panel and use “charges” or whatever for individual changes.
Players seem to be more likely to make many and frequent minor changes to their appearances for a small cost of a charge for each change (like appearance transmutations do) instead of having to spend a large amount on a one-time use item that is limited in its design, isn’t even all that functional, or even accurate to your end result after accepting changes. – Many helms do not cover the head and remove the hair, but the kit previews automatically remove any helm that is worn and blocks it from displaying in the preview so you cannot even see how your new hair or other changes will look with your equipped helm.
I really hope they are working on resolving the situation with the makeover/hair kits and are considering the suggestion to integrate character alterations for a small cost per change into the Hero Panel.
