If you leave a pvp match, you are screwing over everyone else on your team.
The game forces you to finish playing your match, and rightfully so.
Quitting a match early essentially screws over 4 other players.
I would compare it to forcing a child to sit in a corner and think about what they have done.
If you aren’t going to play in a pvp match, don’t queue up for one.
Working as intended.
Excuse me, but this thread isn’t ment for boilerplate self-righteousness.
It’s actually ruining the game for my team whenever I have to go afk for whatever reason, that I won’t get booted even if I log out of the game until the game is over. I’m making this thread because everyone else is still leaving and joining as if it’s hot join, so obviously it works for everyone else and is not working as intended.
This has been a problem for me since forever now. I might aswell have exploited this if I wanted to, since I can’t be booted for AFK’ing either I’ve noticed, so I could basically join, alt-tab and farm if I wanted to, but I don’t so I’m reporting this.
The fact that I would like this to be looked at and resolved if possible doesn’t equal to me wanting to leave every game I’m ever in from now on.
1) Your empty place on the roster can’t be filled if you decide you don’t want to play in a match even if you did leave or were booted.
2) Going AFK =/= logging out and trying to play the game elsewhere. You are clearly not afk if you are complaining about not being able to escape a pvp match.
3) Griefing other players, intentional or not, in the form of AFKing pvp matches, joining then leaving, or simply not showing up is not tolerated.I play unranked, where people join and leave all the time.
Tolerated by whom? Leave thread please, this is not a debate thread.
Are you serious?
In case you missed it , there is no longer “hotjoin” in any pvp except custom arenas.
Also, Arenanet is the one who does not tolerate griefing.
If you did not want to hear factual information, maybe you should not have created a thread complaining about mechanics which are in place to punish players like you, and keep them out of the rest of the playerbase’s hair.

Currently, this seems to be the one (out of the five) Mordrem bosses that players fail, during the breach phase on the Silverwastes map, most often.
Many times players start arguing afterward about why it failed, and usually what happens is players get blamed for using AoE (which inadvertently kills offshoots).
I feel that players using AoE on the Champion Husk, while not beneficial, is far less detrimental than people are making it out to be.
First things first…. I want everyone to know that you should not use AoE when fighting Mordrem Husk Copper and I’m definitely not saying it is okay to spam your AoE’s on this boss encounter.
Here’s why:
The champion Mordrem Husk spawns several offshoots which apply boons to allies (the husk and the offshoots) upon death. Applying boons to a boss is not something anyone should want to do, and you should therefore do your best to use single target damage on the Champion Husk.
Killing one offshoot or killing 50 offshoots only applies the one stack of regeneration buff to the boss. Regeneration is honestly not that big of a deal, but you should not want it on the boss, regardless.
What players don’t realize is that there is another way this boss is able to heal itself which is far more powerful than the regeneration that is applied by killing the offshoots.
Many times players fighting the Champion Husk will witness its health climbing in large chunks. This is caused by the Poison Bubbles
The Large poison bubbles at the Copper Husk event spawn in the room, and move toward the boss. The bubbles will pop and heal the boss when they get within 200 range of it, whether the bubble is being attacked or not.
Players need to DESTROY THE BUBBLES BEFORE THEY REACH THE BOSS which is what a lot of you guys are missing, and it is why the boss often times fails.
Every time you notice the boss’s health increase by a decent chunk, it is because a poison bubble has reached the boss and successfully healed it. Destroy the bubbles before they reach the boss, and you can kill all the offshoots in the world and it won’t save the husk from being killed.
In addition to this important information many of you are overlooking, everyone should know that…
The boss is resistant to raw damage and is weak to condition damage.
…but since condition damage gets capped out at 25 stacks, the more players present at the fight, the more difficult this fight becomes.
One condition damage necromancer can cap out 25 bleed stacks on the Champion Husk. When he is by himself, the fight is not that big of a deal. ….now imagine that same necromancer has capped out those 25 bleed stacks in a zerg of 50 people. The 49 other people have scaled up the event, and the boss is taking absolutely no more condition damage than it was before…. but its health pool has been been vastly increased.
At copper, less is more!
Apply different types of conditions to the boss.
Maintain poison and 25 stacks of bleed and vulnerability.
Apply confusion (projectiles passing through feedback apply confusion, and 90% of players range the boss)
…and most importantly move in range of the boss if he wanders out of range…
You are not glued to the ledge you choose to fight on.
Get off the ledge and kill those poison bubbles before they reach the boss!

Did you guys by chance open your reward chest while spectating?
This is a form of moderation (Flood Control) for those who have accrued several infractions. You will have to wait out the time until it is removed.
If you wish to dispute the action taken on your forum account, you may send an email to forums@arena.net
Good luck.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Fighting against infractions is a waste of time, imo…..
Without going into great detail as to why I get most of my infractions, I’ll simply state that the punishment does not match the crime on this one…. but thanks again for letting me know!
You have all the tomes but all your toons are already lvl 80…. so you buy a character slot to use them.
They are basically the same type of loot as a black lion chest…
You don’t get any use out of them unless you spend gems.
(clever marketing strategy)
Legendary weapons were promised in 2012 for 2013….. I wouldn’t hold your breath.
Since the camera represents your viewpoint, your eyes if you were there looking at your character, why wouldn’t your ears also be there?
…except the RPG in MMORPG means role playing game….. you are not the camera….. you are your character.
As far as I know this game is not advertised as a camera-man simulator.
One post, every five minutes….
This almost certainly is a recent change to the post-limit, and it has become extremely frustrating.
It does not take me five minutes to read and respond to a thread where a player is asking for help.
I have several thread responses just sitting there “waiting” to be submitted in different tabs, since I can “only post once every 300 seconds.”
Please remove this. It is beyond annoying.
(I had to wait 5 minutes to create this thread)
Login rewards were given to players who had not yet logged in before patch went live on the day of the patch. After the patch hit, players who were logging in for the first time that day received login rewards and players who had already logged in that day did not get login rewards.
Those three lit symbols exactly match the three symbols you needed to light to Ascend in GW: Prophecies.
Ascended gear is just the start….. there are also offensive/defensive infusions you can put in your ascended armor to further increase your stats.
Even though each of them separately is not much… if you replace a full suit of exotic armor and weapons with a full suit of ascended armor and weapons then put the infusions in, it really does add up.
All of the professions you listed are fine.
If there is one class that needs an improvement to movement speed, its the mesmer, imo.
Personally….. I really hope its not Turai.
(Unless he is showing us how to travel to Elona through some magical gate that connects both deserts)
As much as I love his character in Guild Wars and GW lore….. he belongs in Elona.
We are heading west into the Maguuma jungle…. not traveling southeast into the crystal desert.
Just because there is sand in the jungle does not mean you should put all the things that belong in Elona in Maguuma.
…but that seems to be the direction Anet wants to take with this game….
We aren’t going to see Cantha….. so they brought us Cantha in a blimp.
…and now it looks like they are tacking things from Elona onto the Maguuma jungle stuff just because both places have sand.
First Glint…… now Turai….. if we aren’t actually going to Elona and we are going to have Elona crammed in with the Maguuma jungle, I’m going to be ten different types of disappointed.
I’m crossing my fingers and I’m praying that all of this is leading up to players being able to travel to Elona…. and Anet is not just cramming nostalgia into the wrong places.
I really feel that there is a serious lack of content in this game, and anyone arguing that “we have an expansion worth of content, we just got it a little bit at a time” needs to do some research as to what type of content is typically delivered in an expansion (new continents, new races, new professions, new skills, new weapon types, etc.)
Anet your playerbase is starving and you are continuing to feed us crumbs.
We need a meal!
Any time pve players are herded into pvp for pve rewards there is crying from both sides.
The pvp’ers don’t want to be on teams with pve’ers….
and the pve’ers would rather not be in pvp at all.
I just think its funny Anet continues to do this as some sort of sick joke.
On a related note…. I will not be doing any more ranked pvp until after Wintersday has ended, because I actually care about my ranking (even though the leaderboards were just reset). I’ve only won 3 but I’ve lost 2 already in ranked, and BOTH losses were because of PvE players just joining up in ranked because it gets them to their breather faster.
That lava effect is the bee’s knees.
Inspect tools as a solution to that problem are tantamount to using a shotgun as a flyswatter – yes, you might well kill the fly, but whether you do or don’t will be irrelevant to the problem you’re absolutely going to create for trying to solve it that way.
What is this problem that will be created?
I don’t see a problem arising from allowing players to choose what types of players they have in their parties.
Odd. I’m utterly against this and yet, I seem to have four full sets of ascended gear, go on regular runs with a guild nutty with scores of people running everything there is to run in the game without needing to be carried and…amazingly…not wanting to be either.
Nevets Crinsonwing, your assertion must either be far more selective in its application than your absolute terming suggests, or you’re simply…wrong.
I’ma go with ‘wrong’. Good day.
If you primarily play with a guild group, why are you opposing a useful feature that is intended for enhancing PUG gameplay?
Perhaps instead of just telling people they are wrong, and being rude, you actually articulate the reasoning behind your opposition. As things are currently, you just seem to be spouting off at people “nope” “wrong” without any elaboration.
There is a definite desire for an inspect gear feature by at least half of the playerbase.
and yet… the other half is opposed.
Neither side of the argument can be wrong for having wants/desires.
…and if a feature is not immediately useful to you….. and you say you won’t have problems since you have appropriate gear…. what is the problem here?
Just my impression …
PlayHowIWant:
“You mustn´t dictate me how i play. I choose gear and build that i like. I play how i want.”
SoCalledElitist:
“I form my group how i want it to be. I just want players that use specific gear and builds. I play how i want.”
SoCalledElitist to PlayHowIWant:
“Yeah, it´s ok for me. I have no problem with you playing how you want in your groups.”
PlayHowIWant to SoCalledElitist:
“No, no, no! You are not allowed to play how you want. Not even in your own groups.”
…
…
…
So, who is narrow-minded and who is the bad guy?!If only your portrayal were real and relevant.
There’s nothing stopping the SoCalledElitist from playing how they want anyway – they just want tools to enforce their will upon others to command it be so.
PlayHowIWant != I get tools that singlehandedly turn MMO communities into judgmental cows so preoccupied with what everyone else is wearing and how they ‘measure up’ that any excuses of such tools’ legitimacy are faint, distant squeeks in the cacophonous furor of seething resent and nit-pickery.
God help you, but you might have to talk to people and tell them what you want in your run and don’t rather than relying on a shortened Twitter-esque message and presumption to do all of your party-making work for you.
I think YOU are the one in dreamland.
There is literally nothing negative or elitist that would happen with an inspect feature that is not already happening in the game right now.
If someone puts an LFG up advertising for a speedclear full zerker team, and asks players to ping their gear after they join…. he will kick them from the party if they:
A) Don’t ping their gear
B) Ping gear other than berzerker.
Why not just let us inspect to begin with, and remove the need to have players ping all of their garbage?
You are allowed to form a team whichever way you please …. and who are you to tell me what I want is wrong?
I could make a team for a dungeon and say Charrs only! and kick anyone who isn’t a charr. Why? …because its my team and I make the rules.
Having an inspect feature would just make it easier for the players who want to participate in zerker speedclear dungeon runs…. the other players can weed out the players who are running sub-optimal gear… and lets face it…. Who wants to run with players running a sub optimal build/gear
If you don’t want to go along with what the team wants, you have no place on the team.
Inspect is one of those things that bad players fear because they will get called out, and won’t be able to sneak into good teams any more.
I am for it 110%
If anything maybe it will light a fire under players and get them moving to actually get gear that isn’t garbage and use a build that the community has vetted as viable/useful instead of weighing teams down like an anchor.
Why are they talking about “growing a universe” when we haven’t even seen travel to another continent yet?
It is not the defend event…. it is the capture/reclaim event that awards the trait.
yes I know. But for some weird reason many people says half a year ago you actually get the traits from defending.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/2938vq/why_does_everyone_despise_defending_arah/
So either it dont’ and some people are making those up. Or Anet reverted the change for some reason.
It is just someone who is misinformed as far as I can tell.
The trait is awarded for completing the Defeat the Risen High Wizard and secure the Promenade of the Gods event not the Ensure that the Pact holds the Gates of Arah event.
The Wizard CAN spawn for the defend event…. and killing the wizard is probably what needs to happen to earn the trait…. but he does not always show up for the defend event.
(edited by TheBlackLeech.9360)
If you aren’t going to participate in a PvP match…. don’t Queue up…. simple as that.
For any reason, if you are intentionally ruining fun for others, it is considered griefing.
Also, Anet cares a lot about PvP and I would be willing to bet that you causing a team of players grief could get you a timeout from the game or at very least from pvp.
No.
It was removed for a reason…
You either get a bank and a trading post….. or the mystic forge.
If you had all three it would completely undermine airship/royal passes.
It is not the defend event…. it is the capture/reclaim event that awards the trait.
Oke so can anyone give me some tips on which type of armor i should use and when.
-In PvE
-WvW
-Dungeon
That would be awesome txxx
For general PvE, going full berzerker is the best way to go through content in the most efficient way. There are some cases, such as world boss fights (Tequatl, Jormag, Etc.) where berzerker is no more efficient than PVT armor is, and PVT is a much better option. There are few cases where condition damage is considered viable in comparison to other pve builds, but there are some foes in PVE which are weak to condition damage…. just not enough to make proper use of a full-time condition damage build.
In WvW PVT gear is what most people will tell you to wear if all you do is zerg. If you plan on splitting off from the zerg and doing some roaming, then you might want to think about trading your vitality and toughness for precision and ferocity or condition damage.
In PvP, there are a few different metas.
Full zerker, condi, and toughness.
Full zerker players are the most popular, since they prey upon other zerkers and condi players alike, and can still take town a tanky foe in a 1v1. It is easy to stay just off-point and attack from a distance to help ensure your team captures a point.
Since PvP in this game is based on holding points, not all players on a team can effectively run full zerker, and it is almost always desirable to have one or two tankier players who can actually stand on the point and push others off of the point. Many times these players are being bombarded with damage from all directions, and the more toughness and vitality or healing power they have, the longer they can hold the point for their team. In the long run, there are few “tank” players who can effectively battle full zerk players, but more often than not…. the tanky player will keep them off the point and hold the cap until help arrives. The door swings both ways, and since full zerker players are so fragile, the tanky player just may be able to deal enough damage to defear a full zerker.
And finally…. we come to condition damage….. which in my opinion is the meta in PvP atm. Many successful builds in PvP atm all bombard foes with condition damage, and the outcome of the battle usually depends on how many condition clears your opponent has, and how well you can survive while you tick damage on your opponent.
Mesmers and thieves both have builds where they apply a lot of condition damage and then use stealth to avoid taking damage while the conditions work their magic.
Terrormancer is another good example of a build that completely destroys classes who do not have enough condi clear.
It is not limited to these classes, either…. all classes can be geared for viable Condi dmg in PvP… and only some have viable condi clearing abilities to counter the condi damage.
For this reason, condition damage builds take the cake when it comes to pvp meta, and there are very few classes/builds that can successfully take down a good condition damage build well.
…and of course there is celestial which is a combination of everything.
What if….. killing the undead elder dragon only made him stronger?
After we fight the other elder dragons, I think it would be totally kitten if Zhaitan came back stronger than ever.
I can see it now….
Guild Wars 2: Return of Zhaitan
Fotm 14, everyone in the party except for one person did not get their daily 11-20 reward.
I’m going to fight on the Necro side of this argument.
If elementalists can stomp then activate mist form…. Necros should be able to do the same with death shroud.
This thread is so much win.
Welcome to Build Wars 2
Anyway…. thanks for reading. Feel free to comment.
There are many things changed with the NPE that are broken
That’s right… things I remember doing as a new player have been scrambled up a bit….. and in most cases it is for the better. There are however several instances where things were altered and just don’t make sense.
In the grawl cave in Wayfarer Foothills for example… players can earn progress toward heart completion by wiping off cave paintings.
The animation for doing so was somehow replaced with the skill point commune animation. Every single time she wiped a cave painting off, she sat there for 5 seconds and said that doesn’t look like he (the character) was wiping the paintings off at all, as he channeled and communed with every single cave painting.
This is just one of the many things that I noticed while observing her gameplay through starter areas.
Character models and animations
Many times during my sister’s adventures, she would clear an area of foes (with no special magical characteristics) and would witness them just re-appear out of nowhere before she left the area. Sure undead sort of appear in a puff of smoke, and dredge jump out of the ground….. but what about moa birds? What about dolyaks?
She didn’t like how things just re-appeared.
Sometimes enemy models would get stuck on the screen if they were killed in the instant they first appeared. (It looks like there is still a living foe there, except it is a corpse with a bugged animation)
I’ve witnessed this myself on several occasions….
Using a tonic, Lich form, or transform skill often times leaves a “shell” of yourself behind.
Sometimes if something is un-rendered and re-rendered the animation that was playing as that happens just continues to happen forever. (ranger swoop animation playing forever and ever) These issues have been around for quite some time now, and my friends all over the world have seen this issue in some way shape or form…. and it comes as no surprise that when a new player sees it, it breaks immersion.
I should not have to explain “There is no enemy there…. you already killed it…. that is a bug.”
Walking Downhill to your death
I don’t think there is anyone who has ever played the game who has not accidentally walked slowly downhill to their death, but just in case you haven’t, yes this is a thing.
Some bug with fall damage will occasionally cause players to continue to take fall damage just for walking slightly downhill. It is possible for a player to die this way- no downed state- complete death.
This happened to my sister once… and I explained it was a bug… but she was not happy about it.
Just recently I allowed my younger sibling to play on my game account.
Overall she had a lot of fun, but on several occasions the immersion was completely and utterly destroyed by flaws in the game’s design.
The game’s camera spazing out
I have played this game since launch, and the camera still kittenes me off from time to time, but I never really realized just how much I had learned to cope with the annoying camera angles until I watched my sister play the game.
Often times, after getting knocked into a wall by a boar or other enemy, or even doing the Urmaug’s secret jumping puzzle in lion’s arch… the game’s camera just went bonkers and my sister was unable to see anything, without attempting to rotate the camera around for a minute or so to figure out what was going on.
It comes as no surprise that something that annoys me as a veteran player completely aggravates a new player, and I feel that something needs to be done about the whole “camera going into your own kitten” thing.
Times like these definitely broke immersion and forced my sister to deal with shoddy camera mechanics to resume enjoying herself.
The lack of crafting material variety
This comes as more of a suggestion than anything, but something my sister gravitated toward right from the start was cooking. A large part of her motivation in the game world was to go out and explore to see what sorts of cooking ingredients she could acquire. She started gathering at nodes, and came to the realization that moa birds drop poultry meat and/or eggs, and 90% of all the other foes in the game drop red meat.
Deer, drakes, boars, dolyaks, bears, etc. all drop the same type of meat.
She was really expecting at very least some different variety (pork from boars, etc.)
She also noticed that none of the fish in the game anywhere drop any sort of cooking related items;Tuna and salmon items don’t even exist, and someone making the logical assumption that you can get tuna from a tuna, salmon from a salmon, etc would be completely wrong.
She also was extremely disappointed that she was unable to use the crab meat she had collected from killing crabs and that it was in fact a junk item rather than a cooking ingredient.
Again…. these issues are not game-breaking, but definitely immersion breaking. I agree there is no reason why we don’t have any fish (or seafood) cooking items.
(I know we have clams)
Zone/map borders with strong currents
She explored most of Sparkfly Fen before heading north into Bloodtide coast, but was completely put off by her inability to swim from one zone to the other because of the “strong current” map barrier. I agree with her on this one. Being trapped in an endless loop simply because the game developers decided that an invisible wall should go in place of a zone transition is poor game design.
Sure the currents have their place in some maps, but the barrier between sparkfly fen and bloodtide coast should be replaced with a zone transition.
Not only was it annoying to not be able to travel that way for no reason, but it was also difficult for her to properly turn around and navigate back into the zone without being teleported around fifty times.
It definitely caused her quite a bit of frustration, and I had no explanation to give her why she couldn’t simply swim across the border into the other zone.
She accepted it as part of the game, but her immersion was definitely broken for a while after that.
I don’t think these are dumb reasons…. but I hate Asura.
Some people think ugly things are cute…..
….I think ugly things are ugly.
If you want to show me how “cute” your pug is, irl…. I’m going to tell you how stupid-looking and ugly it is. The same goes for Asura. They are all ugly… and somehow somewhere that ugly gets translated into “cute” inside of certain people’s brains.
They are annoying all of the time, and its on purpose.
Some players are also drawn to Asura because of their kitteny attitudes, which is outright annoying to me.
Only a 12-year old would purposely want to annoy other people all the time, and I’m sure a 12-year old’s favorite class is the Asura.
They are a race of educated idiots
A great philosopher once said that true wisdom is knowing that you know nothing.
The Asura, on the other hand, parade around, attempting to establish their intelligence every chance they get… whether it be through insults or boasting.
Not to mention their experiments always have catastrophic results, which actually lead people to believe they are actually quite the opposite.
They are plagiarists
They also enjoy taking credit for things which were not the product of their own effort.
Most of the Asura’s history is “absent” for this exact reason. All of the technology their new “inventions” are based off of are not of Asura design. They were instead simply discovered by the Asura. The Asura, of course, willingly took credit, (but will never admit it) and continue to experiment and blow themselves up since they still don’t truly understand their discovery.
If you’re a gamblin’ man….. THE FORGE!
I’ve gotten one from gifts and it was not in the first 20k gifts I opened either.
You could always do the coolkid thing and roll a class that counters the daily professions well.
….or you know…. do the super cool thing and complain about it on the forums.
so, Anet….. why do we still not have a “report for hacking” feature?
I’ve read through plenty of these threads, stated facts, and get ignored because the points are valid irrefutable and there is no logic whatsoever on the opposing side of the argument.
Just to inform you, you get ignored because your posts are an example of demagogy, along with strawman arguments, deliberately missing strong counter-arguments, and aggression.
People here are often used to these forum tricks and don’t take them seriously.
There you go again putting in your earplugs and completely glossing over everything factual that I’m begging you to address.
You made direct statements about the new daily system in your original post.
I’m telling you with facts why that is outright wrong…. and you just pretend like you can’t read.
Btw, you need a dictionary. At no point in this thread have I ever used a strawman argument.
You are no different than a child putting his fingers in his ears and saying “la la la i cant hear you.”
(edited by TheBlackLeech.9360)
You can play “how you want” moreso than ever.
Anet made it so you don’t need to do your dailies at all.
Your Laurels are awarded just for logging in.
Talk about people being misinformed.
There are several, multi-paged threads that cover every possible aspect of that not being true.
So I’d be careful who you call misinformed. Wouldn’t want to look like a hypocrite.
Except they are all just xenophobic players whining with no justification.
I’ve read through plenty of these threads, stated facts, and get ignored because the points are valid irrefutable and there is no logic whatsoever on the opposing side of the argument.
Again…. you don’t need to do your dailies at all.
Laurels, mystic coins, black lion gem store loot, is all awarded for daily logins.
You don’t need to do your daily at all unless you want your 10 AP.
That being said… anyone who was serious about/was grinding for AP was going out of their way to complete more daily categories than they wanted to in the first place….. which is why this was changed.
The AP grinders get what they want after minimal effort, and no longer have to complete all the categories.
3 Daily categories for 10AP is a godsend compared to what it was before.
…and with categories like “View a vista in Lion’s Arch” you have no reason to be complaining… AT ALL.
You also went into great detail about how this can’t be done solo….. but if you can’t complete this LS mission on your own, there are more important things you need to worry about.
Where did you even get that? I complete them fairly easily solo, and if I die I tweak my build and complete it since I can’t guess fight mechanics just by looking at a monster. If anything, some fights are specific class-unfriendly and frustrating/boring, not hard.
I am saying that I want comfortably accessible, user-friendly, highly repeatable, reward-worth group content, and I see the new PS instances as a possible source of such within the current “no new dungeons” policy.
Have you ever made a post on the forums where you aren’t complaining about something?

Reasons YOU listed why YOU cant do Glint’s Lair:
- You need everyone to activate the same episode (and lose progress on current if it’s not finished).
- You need everyone to have the episode done.
- You do not have separate LFG sections for these instances.
Its clear you are hellbent on doing this with a party.
Also, I’m happy for you that your threads aren’t literally 100% complaining, but I’m dissapointed that you aren’t familiar with sarcasm and rhetorical questioning.
Which is a shame. If it received just a minimal amount of dev effort (and a restoration and re-implementation of the water areas in WvW instead of the ~removal they pulled) then the 3D combat could be amazing for how much it shakes up the combat system of the game.
It’s just… It needs so little. One pass over the raw damage numbers of the underwater weapons. Done. Just the numbers! Not even the skill effects, those are meh but can be manageable!
I agree….. Water combat has so much potential….. but its wasted with a lackadaisical development team. It started as a wonderful platform, and just needs to be built upon. Guild Wars 2 is the only game where I don’t mind underwater combat…… but its Anet’s job to turn the “I don’t mind it” into “This is awesome.”
You can play “how you want” moreso than ever.
Anet made it so you don’t need to do your dailies at all.
Your Laurels are awarded just for logging in.
Talk about people being misinformed.
Have you ever made a post on the forums where you aren’t complaining about something?
Glint’s Lair was great….. there was no doubt about that.
…however every great LS episode does not mean it needs to be recycled and tossed into FoTM. If they did recycle this LS into a fractal, I would not complain….. but encouraging Anet to “frankenstein” content is not something I want to see anyone doing, and I would much rather see “new” updates to FoTM not recycled ones. Besides that….. Anet made Echoes of the Past repeatable through your LS journal and you can experience it all over again whenever you like.
You also went into great detail about how this can’t be done solo….. but if you can’t complete this LS mission on your own, there are more important things you need to worry about.
