3 champs in 3 minutes? Guaranteed exotic chest?

That beats the waypointing costs at Queensdale + the chance of a non-exotic chest.

Though Orr champ farming appears to give you the best bang for your buck? Why?

Because of Glided Coffers and Genesis and it’s value. Last I checked it was 300g. The best weapon you can get out of Glided Boxes (from FSG) is Entropy, which is around 150g?

Yet you guys were forced from your home by a measley dragon.

Champ farming is more lucrative I find, especially with the new skins.

There are several champ farm spots that are well known and unknown.

Not going to spill the secrets because I’m somewhat self-fish, but there is one area where you can kill and respawn a champ every minute

nop they"re located either on a cliff with no way to get up, or deep deep underground where ur character be standing on ground lvl right on top of the nodes, it will still show the node with down arrow on ur mini map.

Maybe there’s a cave or another long way to get to the cliff..

WP price depends on two things:
-your level
-distance to WP

So you’d actually have to compare the WP cost pre and post patch from the same spot.

Stability worked for me. We only have one stability skill and the other is a trait that comes with activate our aegis.

I ran Stand Your Ground and Save Yourself as utilities, along with using a greatsword.

It’s best to knock her against the edge of the bubble (use GS-5) that way you have limited exposure to tornadoes.

I believe you are upleveled for the zerg events in DR.

The storyline never changes and you can always go back to it whenever. Also keep in mind that the story line doesn’t follow you level by level. There are some gaps between missions that require you to lvl inbetween them.

When the rock button is I dont’ know. There is still a month for the event. If you bought the material now, instead of week down the line, you might regret you can pay better price.

The reason why I mentioned inscriptions was just to save on bank space – one stack of inscriptions equals to 15 stacks of t5 materials, and doesn’t include the space occupied by mithril ores/ingots.

This of course ignores the fact that you will be able to craft pre-cursors with the introduction of the new legendaires. This will have some unknown effect.

It might be more cost effective to craft it once that is introduced. But if you are just looking to make money then the biggest winners (and losers) will always be found from gambling.

I’m confident that even with the crafting of precursors, or the scavenger hunt, the system will be designed so that players will still considering gambling/buying on tp as an alternative.

And no, you wouldn’t necessarily lose that investor. Investment managers know more than your average Joe since that is their day job – managing investments. If they want to sell a stock because it has reached it’s peak or they think it’s going to go down on bad results (bad Q3) then they’ll sell it and find a better stock to hold.

I don’t know anything specific about my mutual fund and the markets it invests in, but I trust the portfolio manager and I leave it at their discretion.

forward up. It’s the path where the last boss spawns countless spiders. It’s not supposed to spawn that many.

People have utilized different strategies to beat it, but it’s very, very kitten

e such strat is to have two players with 1500 range (rangers) dps the boss down from max range while the other 3 members defend those two as spiders spawn.

Right now there are better alternatives for gold. i.e. farming champs/pavillon

That’s the most hated dungeon among casual players in any game I know of. I know because I’ve been trying to get casual non-zerker groups to run it for the last 7 months, and I haven’t even been able to get half of the runs I need in that amount of time!

I was hoping ANet would make it worth the time it takes but apparently instead they just decided to balance rewards around the full kitten zerker groups.

If you enter as a casual group that has absolutely no clue on how/when to dodge, then you’re going to have a bad time.

That’s how it works for all dungeons. If you enter having absolutely zero clue on how bosses work, then you are going to be there for a long time.

If a SINGLE player does not know the rigid rote of the CoE dungeon mechanics it takes an average of two hours, one… single.. player. And one run isn’t enough to learn the mechanics, but I can tell you it’s more than enough to scare them away from ever entering CoE again. Which means nobody among the casual playerbase ever learns them in the first place!

I know the mechanics well, I still can’t get people to run it, in fact it’s come to the point that my guildies (and I’m in a guild of several hundred very active casual players) avoid me around dungeon running time. The dungeon has nothing to offer those who aren’t farming CoE tokens, and this just made it even worse.

CoE isn’t hard. Really. All you have to do is look at the aoe’s dropping, count 1 second, then tap dodge. It’s simple.

The people who fail to do it are just slow to react.

And yet another hardcore player that doesn’t know what he’s talking about when it comes to the casual playerbase… Lupicus has a rote to him that can be explained and picked up in a single run, and his mechanics make one much less dependent on teammates, not to mention there are a ridiculous amount of veteran players willing to run new people, the entire CoE dungeon lacks all of that. And that’s the point, it’s not that the CoE dungeon cannot be learned, it’s that it isn’t worth the amount of time it takes when you are a casual player, and now isn’t worth the gold to a hardcore player. So now even less casual players are going to learn it.

Really now? I find the opposite. Heck, Arah even has it’s own thread on the forums for experienced runs. Go look on gw2lfg and you’ll find lots of postings asking people to know what they’re doing on Lupi. Simply because a lot of players die there if you don’t know the mechanics of all three stages.

CoE? Only ‘hard’ boss is subject alpha’s. And as I said. All you really need to know is how to dodge.

Good. If you’re not willing to WvW then you don’t deserve badges. It’s a shame that you got a ton with achievements too, kind of defeats one of the ‘rewards’ of participating in WvW.

Hello I rarly post on the forums for many reasons from bad spelling to grammer and such but posting today to give how I feel on something that I am noticing in this game.

When I first pre ordered the game and played in some of the closed betas I wanted this game due to some changes from other typical mmo games most being that being able to play a character how I wanted to build and play them.

Seems though that this is not the case it seems as reguardless of how I want to make a character if I am not willing to change or conform to how every other player wants it making a character my way now makes me alone and having to play alone, while not everyone is like this it seem they are in a big majority or at least more heard. So with this now if I want to stat a class build to be more oriented for grouping I can not do this because I do not want to stat or use gear the mass players in game want me to use to rush though stuff, and I do not like rushing and am someone who dose not like being told to use online guides because I like to trial and error learn things.

Well reguardless the devs really should look into this kinda stuff while I might agree that magic find I would not use it for dungeon runs and such but personal runs for more items, I do not want to stat all my characters power or condion damage maybe I might want something with healing or boon influanceing builds that work into groups.

P.S. This is not me telling those players to conform to how I want it either, but with the mass amount of players who want zerk stuff pretty much leaves me out due to I have no intrest in playing that build and if I do not have intrest in playing that build why should I even play.

Zerker groups ask you to ‘conform’. If you refuse to conform, they drop you. Is there a problem with that?

There are other groups/guilds out there that take on casual runs that dont’ care about what class or gearset. Go join them.

I thought they fixed the Noble well? If you scout in advance and get their aggro you can avoid them getting on the NPC’s

The skins aren’t account bound. If you farm for “years and years” you most likely earn enough gold to buy it outright.

Or I guess the better alternative is to have all these awesome skins easy to acquire once you log-in, and then go on the forums to complain how you are bored of GW2 because there are no goals you can set for yourself.

There are several easy to acquire skins. Go look at the trading post for all the cheap exotic/rare skins under 5g. Go look at dungeon armors, karma armors, cultural, e.t.c.

There are going to be common and there are going to be rare skins. If you don’t want to put the effort/gold into acquiring the rare ones, then you sure as hell dont’ deserve it.

What I think Anet should have done was announce that all dungeons would have a fixed gold reward for 2 weeks at 1.5G each. After that, they would enter a ‘alpha’ phase where they would look at the dungeon metrics and see the popular/unpopular ones and the amount of time each completed. Based on that, they would enter a ‘beta’ phase with further refinement, this time with appropriate rewards. After that, they would end up with the true gold reward.

If you looked at the prices of t5 mats lately, they have dropped considerably in price to almost half what it was pre-patch. What this does is it makes rare inscriptions cheaper to craft.

We know new legendaries (especially weapons) will come out over the next several months. Now just imagine if they released a set of new legendaries next week. That means new precursors.

Now we’ve had almost a year of GW2 and a lot of gold has been generated in this economy. I find it safe to assume that if there is a very popular new legendary, that precursor will have huge value simply because there is a lot of disposable income to go around. Some people who are very wealthy (like me) aren’t hoarding gold for current legendaries. We’re holding out for new ones, and we have a lot to spend. I could definitely see a new precursor eclipsing 800-900g.

There simply aren’t enough farmable mobs out there (in terms of high kill/hour) to have a good chance at a precursor. So it’s safe to say there will be very limited supply. People will then flock to the forge to gamble for it.

This is where the inscriptions come in. If you’re like me, you took advantage of cheap prices of inscriptions/t5 before the new legendaries get released. And now you are prepared to get a headstart on the forge to start gambling.
