10 is probably about the minimum i’d do it with.
A group of 5 can handle most bosses (basically not tarban) within 5 minutes of attacking them
Split into two groups of 5, and get lucky enough with the 2 bosses chosen and you could do it.

Tier 1: recommended 10 people
Tier 2: recommended 15 people
Tier 3: recommended 30 people

Tankiest build in the game?

You gotta lot of choices, Norn, Sylvari, Asur- wait no, wrong dialogue.

Honestly your best bet is either

1. Guardian – Load up on the toughness, boon duration and healing power. A combination of wall of reflection, sanctuary, and boons everywhere will help keep you alive for a staggering amount of time

2. Warrior – Power/vitality/toughness gear. Superior rune of the soldier. Run 30 into the trait that gives vitality, and 30 into the trait that gives toughness. Then you’ve got two choices, either take the “banners heal” trait and use banners. Or the “shouts heal” trait and take shouts. If you take shouts, grab superior runes of the soldier for added condition removal. Weapon is usually a hammer and then sword/warhorn. Hammer for the disables and warhorn for the swiftness/vigor

3. ele – Boon duration, healing power, toughness if you can. I dont remember the exact traits, but you want some arcana for the faster attune swap, pick up the elemental attunement trait for the boons on attune swap. grab the trait in earth that gives protection when you use an aura. grab the one in water for removing a condition when you attune to water. Then basically the choice is yours (just dont go fire) Run mistform, lightning flash, and cleansing flame on utilities, and run dagger/dagger. You should be looking at ridiculous boon up time if you’re doing the stance dance revolution properly, and your ele has a pretty wide variety of enemy shut downs (stun, 2 knockdowns, chill) as well as a plethora of heals.

4. Necro – power/vit/toughness I guess? It wont be optimal, but it will be tanky! Run plague form. When in plague form you are now essentially immortal. (plague form gives ~18K more hp, and almost 3000 bonus toughness) No, I do NOT suggest this build at all ever. But it is tanky as heck.

They are meant to be long-term achievements that very few people, if any, get. It’s why they’re called “Ultimate . . .”

I dont think you quite understand how completely impossible it is.

This isnt long term
this is Anet will have shut down the GW2 servers before anyone gets them

You never played GW1 did you? Those servers have been up for seven years, with no mention of going down any time soon. R15 Hero took people years, did you ever see anyone whine about that? No.

Since it seems a lot of people forgot about this title, or more likely never even knew about it, let me break it down.

“You would need to win 2,509 times consecutively to gain the 100,000 fame needed to max this title. This would take over 500 hours of holding Halls.”

Since that never happened, we’ll assume an average group of high ranked players would hold halls 5 times consecutively. For the purpose of an ideal situation, we’ll also assume this group jumped to halls with only one prior fight. Winning the first fight nets you 1 fame, then the first halls win would net you 3, the second 6, the third 10, the fourth 16, and the fifth 24, for a total of 60 fame a run. That’s 1667 runs about, figuring wait time for matches of at least 30 seconds, and a match time of at least 10 minutes comes out to around 98353 minutes, 1639 hours, 68 days, or around 2 and a half months of constant playing to achieve the title.
This is an idealized situation, in reality it took considerably longer than that. It took the first person to get it somewhere around 3 years 4 months.

So are these titles slightly illogical? Sure. Impossible? No, just really time consuming. It’s likely they’ll be adjusted in the future anyway.
Tl;dr: Titles that take long periods of time aren’t out of the norm in Guild Wars, in my opinion, Hero in GW1 was harder to get than any of the WvW titles.

I did play gw1. Check your math there. It requires 2 and a half months of continuous perfect play right?
Yeah go check mine earlier up on the thread. Try 2.8 YEARS of perfect play. You’re arguing that a GW1 title was hard, and thus we shouldnt complain, despite it being literally THIRTEEN times EASIER and SHORTER than one of these titles.

So yeah. Re-think your math there. This isnt “impossible” in that only a few people in the world will get it. This is impossible in the fact that it is literally not kittening possible. If it took 3-4 years to get 2 1/2 months worth of perfect play, then it would take 30+ years to get the SMC title.

DO YOU SEE THE ISSUE HERE?

No, challenging titles is the idea. You whining that they need to be adjusted isn’t going to change anything. You can bet money that ANet is already aware of this. Are you aware the WvW update is next month? Wait until then, if their still the same, whine about it then.

Look at how old this thread is. I made this thread months and months ago. Someone recently bumped it. So your point about the wvw update is moot.

Challenging is fine. Titles taking 3,5, heck even 7 years is fine. Titles taking THIRTY years? Not fine.

I weep tears when basically anyone throws down combo fields over mine when im stacking might for the whole party.

also knockbacks are basically the worst CC in game. They’re at absolute best, just as effective as the other CC’s, but they’re also at worst, detrimental to the team rather than helpful. There’s never a “wrong” time to knock down or stun a monster. But there’s plenty of wrong times to knock one back.

for those who dont want to read the link.
Basically you play round robin.

First you unlock guild bounties with 30K influence. Then you earn 30 merits (will take you 2 weeks)
From there you need rank 6 economy. This lets you unlock guild treks (influence and 30 merits)
After that you get r6 politics, 80 merits and another heaping helping of influence for guild rush.
Then it’s back to art of war, pick up art of war 6, and spend more merits for guild challenge
Finally you go to architecture 6, 250 merits and 50k influence for guild puzzles.

Bounties cost 0 merits to unlock, so you have to start there. You will have between 30-50 merits in 2 weeks for guild treks (which honestly is fine, as you basically need 2 weeks to research econ 5 and 6)

If you’ve got 50, you pay 30 to reach 20, then you can earn up to 35 a week, meaning it’ll take another 2 weeks to afford guild rush. I forget how many challenge is, but basically you’ll be unlocking a new guild mission every other week or so assuming you have full influence/are able to complete them for merits.

CoF – all 3 paths are cake
HoTW – the paths are cake, they’re long, but still easy
AC – still one of the easiest dungeons due to being level 35
SE (not path 2) – path 1 and 3 are quick and easy. Hell you only have to kill literally 5 dredge in path 3.
TA – mostly easy, but can trip a party up on some bosses, even on the easier paths
CM – difficult. Easiest path is probably path 2 (assuming you get creative with the gate event) Still not something many players enjoy
CoE – long, boring, boss is hard for lots of players
SE (path 2) – long, boring, so much horrific trash, and the final boss is kind of a pain
Arah – its arah. though honestly I consider paths 3,2 and 1 to be fairly easy with a good team. They’re all sub hour runs (path 1 is sub 30 minutes if you’re really good) path 4 on the other hand…

Actually people/guilds moved from SoS to BG over the last few weeks. So its not like the original BG members fought their way back in some heroic fashion. They just acquired better players which still wont be good enough to beat JQ

Ha! Didn’t BG fail at T1 before and fall back down to T2?
Keep smacking your lips foo…

To their credit, they stuck together and fought their way back up to t1 again. Very impressive in light of the number of other servers that have fallen from t1 only to see all their major pvp guilds quit and run off to another server.

speaking as someone who has been on both BG and JQ.
BG fought their way into T1 vs JQ and SBI. What followed was the most hilarious kittenfest ever, where JQ and SBI both complained 24/7 that BG was using portals, something that literally every other tier besides 1 was using. Eventually SoS pushed up past BG in rank, and dominated.

BG fights its way back into tier 1 by beating SoR, a lot, booting out SBI. The following JQ/BG/SoS matchup was insanely close between BG and SoS, proving that BG was competent enough to hang out in T1 again.

SoR then beats up a dead server (SBI) and leapfrogs back over BG.

Bg then has to face kaineng (another decent server) to get back into t1 again.

BG has climbed into tier one three times. Each time against other reasonably decent servers (twice, against SoR, another tier 1 server, for starters)
This was done long before they got any SoS transfers

You would be hard pressed to find a server that has had to climb back into tier 1 by actually fighting their way through tier 2 as much as blackgate has.

The paths suck. Tons of large hp (healing too!) trash monsters, who can 2 shot you (and come in pairs at 1500 range…)

There’s a reason why the two paths people used to actually complete have a section that is basically “We’re going to run here. Most of us will not make it out alive. Good luck and godspeed”

The other path has a gate. But it’s probably my most favorite path, and you can still technically cheat past the gate, so it’s probably the quickest and easiest path now.

2. Ascended gear IS better than exotics, parties will more likely take someone in exotics than rares, and ascended than exotics.
3. Ascended gear is no more a choice than exotic gear was. Are you still running around in rares? No? Then you know exactly why people will basically have to run around in ascended.

Difficulty != choice
Treadmill != good gameplay
Anet != very trustworthy

I’m fairly sure “scout before the mission starts and spam F to hold them in place” is NOT an intentional design to complete these missions. If it is…I have no words.

It’s pretty much the only way to get the content done with a small number of people. It allows smaller guilds to actually have a fighting chance of doing higher tier bounties.

Did FoTM Become Easier?

Zenyatoo.4059

The only thing that makes fractals hard are people who cant figure out the most basic of strategies. If everyone knows what they’re doing, it’s a milk-run. I’ve had a majority of my 30+’s seem easier than my sub20/20’s just because people dont do stupid things as much.

Like maybe this is just supremely obvious to me, but;
If you’re fighting a boss that takes more damage if you lure it
and has the potential to go immortal by devouring someone using an attack that can only hit you if you’re too close to it

Why the actual kitten are you meleeing it!?

It drives me nuts. When the party would be better off if you were currently dead, then you are a problem. And I see this a LOT in fractals. even higher level ones. Doing a 26 daily, and I see people not doing obvious things that everyone should have picked up 20 fractals ago. (As it turns out, that strafing im doing at the harpies protects me from the knockback, and the damage! You on the other hand decided to stand directly on my platform without moving, and got us both hit!)

What do you want from my ranger??

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Posted by: Zenyatoo.4059

Zenyatoo.4059

Well… Compare your strengths to other classes, and it gets more obvious

Damage – Warriors outclass you both in single target and AoE. Piercing is not superb for circular clusters, of which there are plenty. And what would normally be the tradeoff, single target damage, is not higher than warrior either. It’s still high sure, but not enough to make it worthwhile.

Support – The AOE heal is alright, but I rarely if ever see rangers using it for another party member besides themselves. The CC is pretty horrendous, knockbacks are the worst form of CC, as they actively move the boss out of your teammates AoE’s, I play ele, and when a ranger moves a monster out of my meteor shower I just want to slap them. Spirit effects are pretty weak and they die very easily, compare it to the warrior banners which get similar effects, while also being immortal.

Tank – Nope. Just not even. You cant tank monsters for a party unless they somehow stick to you, which is rare. No reflects, and no other party tank support.

Rangers need either a large buff to their single target damage, or a buff to their party support. As it stands there’s no specific reason to take a ranger over any other class.

Also i’ve had him pop 3 times. 2 of those we didnt have him pre-found and were able to find and kill him within 3 minutes.

Honestly the hardest bosses are
Komali – scaling
diplomat – confusion damage
any of the bosses in dragon event zones – Overflow

the event credit for the yak is when the yak is going to despawn. it only does this at the end of it’s route. Which doesnt happen when it’s one of the towers enroute to SMC (as it never despawns, simply runs back and forth)

The event needs to give credit when the yak touches the colored panel, rather than when it’s despawning.

Im out of options besides running and running and running some more. Using my own greatsword abilities to outpace him and outdodge his fireballs I manage to waste 78 seconds, long enough for my warbanner to come back up. One veteran charr beatdown later and I get to rez everyone the slow way.

Also during a recent bounty mission we wound up with 2 of our 3 not being ones that we had been tracking. We waste a lot of time before I find sotzz chilling south of the tamini cave, and then it’s all down to where the good old deputy is. Less than 2 minutes on the clock and no time for a map wide search, I pull out my map, hit the waypoint, and bam, right on the money, good old deputy sitting not 15ft away, start it and tank long enough for the cavalry to arrive and finish up. This ones really more luck that skill, but it feels kitten good.

I agree, Ultimate Dominator is reasonable if not too easy. 500k kills would be more reasonable, and the other achievements should of course be brought in line with this.

When you think of it, 86 WvW kills per day is not hard at all for a dedicated player.

More like for a T1 player. In T1 fights you can rack up 30+ kills in a few minutes of zerg battles. Might be a little harder for a T8 player to get that many.

and some are saying that the server is shout down before it happens it most likely is for defending and attacking SM but some servers of other MMORPG’s have been running in more then 8 years meaning that GW2 can also run that long time

I get that the WvW titles are meant to be acquired over the lifetime of the game and are meant to be rare. But let’s look at what a WvWer is needs to accomplish on a daily basis to get those WvW titles if GW2 lasts for 8 years (which I’d like to think there are pretty good odds that this will happen).

Eight years at 365 days per year means we have 2,920 days. But we have two leap years in there, so let’s add an additional 2 days onto our total number of days to account for leap years (resulting in a total of 2,922 days for our 8 year lifespan).

A WvWer would need to accomplish the following each and every day in order to get the WvW titles (for those titles where the requirements are posted to the Wiki)…

*Ultimate Dominator - 250,000 ÷ 2,922 days = 86 WvW kills needed per day

*Ultimate Interceptor - 1,000,000 ÷ 2,922 days = 342 Yak kills needed per day

*Ultimate Chaperone - 500,000 ÷ 2,922 days = 171 Caravan escorts needed per day

*Ultimate Fabricator - 2,500,000 ÷ 2,922 days = 856 Supply uses needed (57-86 builds needed per day, depending on if you’re grabbing from an upgraded supply camp or not)

*Ultimate Technician - 1,000,000 ÷ 2,922 days = 342 Supply uses needed for repairs (23-34 builds dedicated to just repairs needed per day, depending on if you’re grabbing from an upgraded supply camp or not)

*Ultimate Besieger - 1,000,000 ÷ 2,922 days = 342 Supply uses needed for building siege (23-34 builds dedicated to just building siege needed per day, depending on if you’re grabbing from an upgraded supply camp or not)

When you look at it on a daily basis, you can see that some of those WvW titles have some pretty hardy (perhaps even impossible) requirements, even for the most dedicated of WvW players.

On the other hand, the supply use and the kills aint so bad. The others should really be brought in line with those. Achievable, but bloody difficult.

I mean, this is a website that claims the WvW achievements are Active Guild Member, All You Can Eat, King of the Costume Brawl, Minature Collection, No One Left Behind, Teamwork Gets It Done, and Thirst Slayer.

Because it’s correct for literally every other achievement.
Also when you track your achievement you can see that you have a %‘age that’s in line with the final rank (which is probably 0 for everything that isnt kills)

there’s a consumable item that places mortar turrets (no im sorry I have no idea where it is)

Drop them in what will be sight range of the gate controller once the gate opens and they’ll shoot at it while the 4 people stand on the braizers.

You could also hop over the wall (still doable) summon 4 embers and kill the silver monster (embers are bought in fireheart rise after the tar lake dynamic event)
Then portal back over the wall (have a mesmer wp back, walk to the wall, throw down exit portal, hop over wall, summon ember, throw down entry portal)

I believe, but am not 100% certain that the embers will stay near the gate control, destroying it once you make it mortal.

AS for path 2. Again using consumables is hilariously strong. The embers mentioned earlier throw down 3 lava fonts apiece, they also can start to attack monsters that have yet to be spawned. With 4 of them you could probably spawn camp the charr.

Guild Mission Rewards

No. No. No.

Guests to a server will get only the dynamic event reward. They are not able to see the mission status, nor are they notified that it has started. If they participate they will only receive dynamic event reward (some silver, karma exp) no commendations.

People assisting a guild (even not guesting) again only receive the dynamic event reward.

And combining 1/2 you will not get commendations from guesting and not being part of the guild.

And no, for the final question too.

You must
1. be in that guild
2. be representing
3. be from that guilds main server (no guesting)
in order to get commendations. Anyone else only get dynamic event rewards.

To unlock Guild Puzzle, a Guild would have had to have bought Guild Bounty Unlock (30K infl + 3 day build), Arch VI (30K infl + 10 day build), run Guild Bounty Tier 3 10 times successfully to earn 250 merits, then Guild Puzzle Unlock (30K infl + 7 day build) then the Puzzle itself (200 infl + 1 day build).

Certainly, they could have boosted all of those builds…..and done nothing but run Bounties…so I guess it’s possible, but highly improbable that they would have had in excess of 990K influence to get it all that fast.

That’s not the problem, my guild which is only semi active pulls in about 30k influence a day, plenty of guilds have over a million influence. The problem is you only get the guild merits once per week no matter how often you run them. The maximum merits you can have right now is 50.

People have been linking 20+ guild comms in chat so there is apparently something my guild doesn’t know or there is an exploit. I really just want the devs to tell us how their new mission system works. They implemented this system and told us nothing about it so our guild doesn’t know what’s an exploit and what is just doing things efficiently.

I believe there is some way to reset the mission progress. Our guild discovered today that we’re able to gain another 25 merits today, despite having done a bounty at about midnight friday/1am saturday. Obviously it has been less than a week, and all signs would point to the week reset being friday, which means that somehow our merit cap got reset.

If this merit cap reset is able to be induced by players, they could have obtained the 250 merits through resetting it constantly.

Yes did 48 daily last night, we had to use the right side of the map with that bridge and kite him around from top to bottom, you can jump off the bridge to the bottom level for some kite room.

while I havent done it in 48 yet. I used this in a 36. One person will usually get his full aggro, just run up on the bridge, then hop off as he rounds the corner up top. If done correctly he’ll then have to stop, turn around, run around the corner again, by which point you’ve run back up onto the bridge.

When he stealths you just maintain the same timing, as he still has to move. Be ready to dodge for when he teleports to you as he will sometimes do that.

It works best as a guardian or warrior simply because he likes to chuck the axes at you and damage mitigation is important.

I was able to keep him from going after my party, and was only downed once or twice (once to a lag spike, and once to me mistiming a dodge roll and getting instagibbed)

Prisoner needs to be able to be stopped along his route, and half-baked needs an hp nerf for sure. Other than that the rest of the bosses we fought were fun.

It really worries me in this game when something is slightly challenging instead of coming up with a better way to do the boss people call for nerfs straight away.

The bosses are all fine, make them harder in my opinion.

OK
how would YOU approach this situation?
The boss cannot be stripped of his boons.
Disabled in any way
He gives you mass amounts of burning whenever you hit him with any skill
and he has more hp than every other boss on the bounties by a wide wide margin

There’s literally nothing you can do besides load as many DPS builds as you can, and remove conditions. And even then it’s still far more difficult than any other bounty boss, as you’re strapped for time.

This isnt a fight you can approach differently via tactics. There’s no strategy to a boss that is literally just a DPS race. Stop saying l2p when you havent even considered what the boss requires you to do.

Easy tiger.

For starters the guild im in was the first to complete tier3 on DH and we have downed him 4 times already. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Bounty-Hunter-tier-3-completed

Because the boss scales you have to use less people, we have downed him with no problem with 5-10 people. So im not telling you to “l2p” but obviously you need to learn the tactics to down this boss. Calling for him to be nerfed was unnecessary considering he hasn’t even been out a week.

He is by far not the hardest bounty boss, Diplomat Tarban is a lot more tricky.

Right so the solution to the boss is to exclude people from fighting it? Again that’s bad game design.
He does deserve a nerf. No bosses tactic should be “dont let your guildies have fun fighting things” either a nerf to his overall hp, or his scaling.

Tarban wasnt that bad for me, but I run tons of condition removal on both my level 80’s. At least Tarban has a mechanic that you can deal with, you just need to be able to remove conditions in an AOE and very quickly. Maybe overtuned a little, but it’s still a mechanic that can be dealt with by changing skills/gear/builds rather than by literally telling people they cant come along for a boss fight.

Guild bounty Question

guesting doesnt even let you know that a bounty mission is ongoing. You also cant check the details.

Part of the issue is that while guesting it still assumes that you’re on your main server in terms of guild ugprades and influence. Which means for the guests there is no active mission, as it hasnt been researched.

It’s obnoxious, but it does make sense as to why it happens.

im trying to put together something like this for Jade Quarry, basically guilds sign up for specific days, and then people would go to those guilds on those days for the missions.

If you’re on the JQ server check it out!

Half baked doesn’t really need to be nerfed. You just need to make sure you pour enough DPS into him. I suppose you could bring him down a little, but most of the other bounties need to be increased a lot.

The hardest one by far we have encountered in Diplomat Tarban. That guy ate our our 50+ guild attack like it was nothing. 25 stacks of confusion insta kills everyone before they can stop attacking. Also I don’t know if it is intentional or not but as a thief all bleeds I apply trigger confusion hits on me when they tick. I would die without ever actually attacking if I had drop caltraps but not all the time it would only do it sporadically.

From what ive been hearing from other guilds the solution to half-baked is actually to use less people. He apparently scales much more than other bosses (gaining permanent stability, and 25 stacks of might) it sounds as if 5 manning him is much more viable.

The diplomat is bad, but the best solution is to group near warriors or elementalists. Warriors should have a pvt set with superior soldier runes, and run 3 shouts (shake it off, on my mark, and for great justice) . Ele’s should consider D/D and run with 30 arcana and 20ish water, dodge rolling in water, attuning to water, #5 on water, and then cleansing flame will give them 4 condition removals, 3 of them AOE, 2 of which are on 10 second cooldowns.

Its definitely a difficult fight, but if your guild specs right for it then it’s much much much more manageable

shrug. I guess everyone have the right to complain. Since people are basically selfish.

They basically think everyone else should play with them even if they dont’ want to. Why do I have to play with you because you are new to the game, wearing masterwork or have no ar.

I mean I laugh at all those calling other people elitist and they dont’ look at themself and realize how selfish they are.

I don’t really care about gear inspection. I just find that as an interesting human behavior. I suppose that’s how people are and maybe I should act that way myself.

The word entitled is a good way to describe these people.

I just got done with a fractal level 16. It took us 3 hours.
1 person had never done cliffside.
Both ele’s did not carry any weapon swap besides their current ones (D/D and S/D respectively)
One ranger was wearing full magic find gear (tropical birds all day long)
The other ranger, despite actually being reasonably educated and skilled was in full rares. He was being 1-2 shot by every boss.
2 of them had less than 5 agony resistance (maw was killing them)

This is not a party I would have continued to play with if the inspect feature existed, as I would have been able to immediately see that they were not well enough equipped for the encounter (and say all you like. If you cannot be arsed to get gear in this game where gear is so easy to get, then you are NOT a good player)

If not wanting to slog through 3 hours of terribleness makes me elitist and somehow worse than hitler, then I guess im elitist. I’ll take being elitist over being absolutely terrible at this game any day of the week.

Risen Nobles...

tried a couple normal risen nobles outside shank. They do 700-2k on my full bezerker gear/traited character.

1200 or so with the symbol (which is hilariously easy to dodge roll out of. Hint: they start the fight with it, and have a pretty long cast time)
700 – 2k with the dagger attacks, usually around 1k, I think the 2k’s were crits.

Havent tried a veteran or champion yet. But the normal ones dont seem bad at all. Could solo 3 no problem.

Personally we have found the Diplomat Tarban to be the hardest the mesmer skills kill you faster than you can stop auto attacking, we needed 30 people to finally finish him..

We just cannot find the Karka guy he never spawns (even after killing multiple veteran karkas) so we fail 15 mins is a joke for those two..

we got the karka guy twice. Both times he was our easiest bounty. Once he got killed by another guild right before we popped ours, 3 of us found and killed him within 4 minutes.
Just pay attention to the karka, and keep in mind it can be any veteran karka on the whole island.

Jade quarry guild mission alliance

I dont really know where to put this thread. So im putting it here.

For starters i’d like to point out a few things that im sure a quite a few people have realized about the guild missions.

1. Because merits are earned weekly, there’s no reason for a guild (as an entity) to do more than 1 of any type of guild mission per week.
2. Because guild missions take up an upgrade slot, it’s important for some guilds to not be constantly building these missions as much as possible, despite how their players feel
3. This leads to situations where certain guild members are missing out, because it’s inefficient to do an entire bounty just for them, but they cannot make the specific time that guilds are doing the missions.

However I believe I have a solution, but it cant be done with the help of other guilds on jade quarry.
What im proposing is to create a schedule of guild missions between guilds. If we can get 7 guilds together, and assign each guild 1 day on which they are responsible for holding guild missions, we can ensure that

1. Guilds get the maximum merits for their week on 1 day. This will be done much more easily, as the player-bases between guilds will be pooled.
2. Guilds only need to stop upgrading/building other upgrades for 1 day of a week. This cuts down on any issues guilds have with needing to research things/build banners or buffs while still doing guild missions
3. Players who are not able to make specific days where guilds are doing missions, can quickly and easily locate a guild that will be doing these missions in order to get their personal rewards.

The schedule will be simple. Each guild will have a day. On that day, they will be running missions (times will be decided later, but will probably be something like once right after daily reset, and then at the guilds digression). Any player who still needs to get their personal rewards can look at the schedule, see the guild and any relevant contact information, receive an invite, and then complete the missions.

Players will be able to easily do guild missions without stringent “raid times” (as my friend put it). Guilds will be able to easily obtain the merits they need for the week without giving up time/influence/other upgrades. It’s a win/win.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions please post here, PM me on the forums, Ingame, or come to the SWG channel on the jade quarry teamspeak (it’s near the bottom) and speak to me directly. The only requirements for being one of the participating guilds is that your guild have guild bounties unlocked by friday march 8th (which would be the ideal time to put the schedule into place)

Together I believe we can make guild missions more fun and profitable for everyone on Jade Quarry.

Its pretty dumb. I dont understand guesting to TC for it.
Yes the TC server is pretty awesome.
No there will not be a noticeable difference for the dragons beyond horrible crippling lag, which is not a good thing.

Honestly the day I actually decided to go hardcore dragon slaying I just guested to servers with the dragons coming up in ~10 minutes. Easiest dragon kills of my life. Much less lag, no wait time, same rewards.

Nicely done!

(we oneshotted all 3 tiers on Wednesday but we barely beat the timer – Prisoner 1411 Y U reset?)

the prisoner and half baked were the ones that got my guild wrecked when we tried higher than t2.

Prisoner just booked it the whole time, and vanished right before they started the bounty.
Half baked on the other hand took 30x longer to kill than any other boss, and given that every hit was burning us, he’s one of the few bosses that was damaging everyone at the same time.

Prisoner needs to be able to be stopped along his route, and half-baked needs an hp nerf for sure. Other than that the rest of the bosses we fought were fun.

Yeah half-baked is certainly very powerful. Although I believe that those 26 stacks of defiant he got when I tried him with my guild were certainly an issue, I can’t remember how many the other bounties got.

ours didnt even have defiant stacks. He had 25 stack might (constant. As far as I could tell he got a stack per hit, which meant even with 4+ necro’s boon stripping there was nothing to do)
Perma stability (couldnt even be stripped. So no knockdowns, dazes, fears, ETC for us. Ever.)
Perma flame shield (ticking 700 burning damage. Even with the 4+ condition removals on my ele, I still was clocking up a minute of burning within a very small timeframe)

And even with all of us there he still took about 4 minutes to down. Much longer than any other bounty boss, despite us having more people there than any other bounty (as others finished theirs and came to assist)

He’s probably the only challenging bounty boss we fought. But his challenge isnt something players can avoid/alleviate in any really productive manner. Basically just bad boss design.
