If they make it too easy for servers to move up or down a tier, players spam the forums with complaints of imbalanced match ups.
It is not Anet’s fault that players paid to move servers. I see no reason to adjust the value setting for a single servers player bases actions.

They stayed they were reworking turrets entirely for HoT. Seems to me it is much more likely that they will simply rework them into mobile droid like minions and add a now utility set, rather then add a second summons set. Particularly given all the negative feed back that summons have received on the whole.
shouts seem more likely to accompany hammer as a weapon.

Spirit weapons for necros?
I highly doubt they will give necros 2 sets of what I feel are mediocre summons.
It’s Anet, and they have left the Necro bad since 2.5 years+. I wouldn’t put it past them.
Bad? Necro is one of the strongest and wanted WvW professions, they are solid in PvE, and middling in PvP. If you are going to declare them as “bad”, the least you could do is explain that.

What Wolfar said.
Moving it from a minor to an adapt tier trait would be a most-unwelcome nerf for me.
And it’s unreasonable as well, given that all classes have a minor trait that procs on-dodge effects.
Yeah, all professions really should have the similar on dodge traits at the same tier.
Just another way it's not so different.

OP you do realize that claiming there is nothing new out there, and that everything that can be done, has been done before, is not anything new and has been stated repeatedly before right?
By elephant in the room, can we presume you mean Everquest? The MMO thay WoW copied? Cause we all know every Johnny Come Lately gives WoW credit for everything they stole from EQ.
Though I did notice WoW has some new implementations comming in thay they are stealing from GW2.

August 28th, 2015. Preorders get 3 day head start and it will coincide with an Anniversary event that will see Lion’s Arch rebuilt and a sale on the base game.
This is basically what I posted in the other 5,286 threads on this exact topic already made. So I kind of agree with you completely.
The class getting Shouts is the Necromancer

Seems to me, that engineers getting hammer and more tank like traits, that they are more likely for shouts before the necro.
Personally, I found some of the reasons the OP listed as better arguments against necros getting shouts then of actually getting them. Such as no scholar or light armor profession having shouts.
I have a full ascended dire set with 100% condition duration, using givers weapons. I find great value in duration.
Valuable? Well that depends on how they stack against other runes introduced in hot. How they change lyssa runes in hot, if they do. And how they change other runes going into hot.
They have already stated how to get into stress test and beta. This method is not on thay list.
You have to get in your servers TS.
Then you have to spend time developing a relationship with the regular pick up group players.
Then you have to earn a reputation as someone who knows how to group them together, place siege in proper locations, and ask the right professions to cast the correct skills at the correct time.
Then you have a start. A few months of that and you might get zergs following you.
Lol, close this thread. There was no evidence what so ever that an Anet employee had anything to do with what they are claiming that character did.
Yes, he was banned. So what?
That does not even remotely suggest there was some demoralizing theatrics by some Anet employee as that story suggest.
Unless you have conclusive evidence an Anet employee did all that in which the story claims, your links literally means nothing to the stories theatrically claims,
If they invite some GvG circle kitten guilds we all know what their constructive criticism means.
If it in genuinely not constructive, they likely won’t listen to it.
You do not get to decide which players have a right to offer an opinion.
Please do not attempt to devolve a discussion of a highly anticipated expansion, simply because you disagree with other players opinion.
the problem is that if you get hit by an immobilization venom well, you’ll stay stuck there because it pulses (i.e., unless you can perfectly anticipate when and where the well will be placed and dodge roll through, you can’t dodge the subsequent pulses).
You mean you personally are stuck their. I, and most of the players I play with would not.
Most warriors I know would use a leap that breaks immobilize and relocates you in one motion.
Most rangers I know would deal with it the same way.
Engineers would rocket boots out.
Thieves would, well, they have multiple ways. Mesmers use phase retreat.
Guardians, um, well, if I have to explain to you how they deal with venom wells like nothing, then you probably do not have the knowledge to make much of an argument in this thread anyway.
Same with eles, each weapon they have has a weapon skill to get them away from immobilize in a well.
Necros may have more trouble. Well, the bad ones will anyway. Well of power at your own feet is a good start. Spectral walk.
The problem isn’t that venom wells cannot be countered. I can train a monkey to counter them. The problem is, folks have generic meta builds they want to run. They get stuck in a rut, then cry and complain that Anet nerfs skills that harm those builds.
Now we all know it is a proven fact that venom wells can be countered. It has been proven in posted videos and explained in 4 threads. I am baffled by those posting here who had it explained or previously posted in threads with videos countering it, then demand that countering is impossible. It is a shame some posters claim “honor in GvG” then dishonestly claim something so simple cannot be countered, just because they do not like it on a personal level, or they have to adjust their build for it, and do not really want to. Those are such petty reasons to disingenuously cry fowl and demand a nerf in my opinion.
Personally, given the hammer incoming, I would think shouts are coming to us.
Signets sure won’t. The are one of the things engineers dislike, specifically. As the are magically imbued.
People have been asking for this for 3 years. Don’t hold your breath waiting for it; and in general, don’t use WvW gear.
They could obviously make the gear salvageable such that only upgrades get recovered and you get zero mats; they won’t bother though.
Why do that, when you can simply allow the upgrades you would want, to be purchasable from the same vendor?
Don’t need a degree to post on the forums. Go and see for yourself. Play an hour or two in each zone and compare.
No, but if your going to claim it wouldn’t effect the economy, you need to at least have some reasonable facts to support it.

Im going to stop my discussion here, because the bold part hits the nail on the head. You are admiting that you think that its wrong for people to prioritize the cool sounding names over other ones. The ES plays fine. It looks great in the Ready up. Now we are here just arguing because… because… we all just want a cool name. We are prioritizing a cool sounding name over everything else. Lets just call it Elite Spec. 1.
No, the problem is you think you get to decide for the rest of us, what the cool sounding names are.
You need to learn to discern the difference between your subjective opinion, and actual objective fact. Simply because you post that something is or is not cool, does not make it definitively so.
So you have a economist degree?
Break it down in detail for us. Let readers read their economist post and compare it to your and decide for themselves. I await your informed education.
It’s pretty clear players just want this simple thing. It does need to be fixed. No reason to lose sigils and runes in badge gear. No reason badge gear shouldnt be able to be thrown in forge.
Player constantly want things that harm the game, so what?
This would completely destroy the economy and badges are so eay to come by it is ridiculous.
So, yes, as has been explained in the dev post on this matter years ago, there are perfectly good reasons not to make such a change.
The people who are saying it’s fine either rely on the tactic to win anything or are just describing pug blobbing.
Not true at all. In fact. it is entirely possible that it is our superior organization and possibly even combined skills that causes us to have little issue with it when on the receiving end.
It’s kind of even pointless to discuss on here.
Yes, because we are discussing, you are demanding. Your first sentence was blind assumptions and accusatory claims towards others for simply disagreeing with you.
Anyone who has played in an actual competitive guild against others with really similar skill levels know how much it ruins the fights.
My guild has defeated yours 6 out of the last 7 encounters. I can prove that with video. We didn’t have any venom thieves any those battles. By your own statements, does that mean my opinion trumps yours?
There are not counters to it being properly executed besides doing it back.
I saw multiple listed for you in detail in the other thread. You can claim the sky is red all you like. Posting it over and over will not make it true.
All it does is encourage pirate shipping and leader focus, the 2 worst things in GvG. It’s taking fun and enjoyment away from guilds, you see so many EU guilds dying because it’s just not fun anymore to deal with it.
GvG is irrelevant. This is the WvW forums.
They can run in a 100player blob but they will get a penalty so they take 10% more damage (or make 10% less damage), Prefer take then a smaller Group off like 15players that are well organized can kill off stragglers and so.
not as now go 100player blob water gate and get in, instead they will split up and 30player attack SW gate 30player attack SE gate, 20player at NE and NW gate to stop reinforcement.
The problem with that way of thinking is that you start forcing people to play the way you think they are meant to play. That is bad practice and will only make players angry.
Remember what happened when Anet thought GvG was ruining their gameplay mode, lol.
Penalties, for playing with my friends? That is atrocious. Get more friends or go away, but do not try to implement rules that penalize the rest of us for doing so. Why should I be penalized for having a large guild and large friends list, and trying to play with those friends? That is an absurd concept.
Changing venoms to being based off of the thief’s condi duration made a huge difference to how potent they are. Anyone who says that trait/food negates them has no idea how this game actually works.
I think you are describing yourself.
Condition altering effects on the receiving end do not work off the base duration of the assailant.
Lets say you have a skill with 5s duration. Lets say you have 100% condition duration. That gives it a 10s. With With melandru + lemon grass = -65% duration. That takes a base 5s duration skill with a 100% duration added with gear and food down to 3.5s if the defender receiving the attack has negative condition duration.
That’s not even counting condition clears for ones self, group cleanses, traits that specifically negate immobilize, and skills that specifically break immobilize.
kinda hard to avoid a stealth-ed necro that unleashes their wells
So what? that same generic anecdote applies to every attack in the game.
Venoms were typically not used in EU GvGs and you got funny looks for running them in NA GvGs.
None of that is true. A few elitist EU guilds (who are not top tier) cried about it a few times and refused to fight. I hardly call that “typically not used” (Seems your out of tough with the current GvG scene) and NA would laugh you out of the area for crying about such a thing.
So unless you got strong evidence demonstrating that it is official, using cry baby guilds who lost a GvG as your example isn’t helping your argument.
Thought I left high school behind 25 yrs ago. Yet here I am dealing with bad roomers and weak math all over again.

I’ll answer as a former infantryman on why resetting is passive. Running or retreating is the opposite of fighting it’s passive. In gw2 one can become invisible until they attack, meaning that If someone’s not visible they are passive.
Yeah, but were are simply trying to inform you that by definition alone, you are factually incorrect. That is quit literally not what passive means. “Running” and “Retreating” are actions, that require designated intent and use of utility, weapons, or elite skills to occur. “Passive” by definitions means not taking action.
2 eyes and the PvP subform, Heart of the mist map-chat, map-chat during matches, observed for the past year, while playing myself.
If you want to criticizing my conclusions, fine, but implying that my conclusions are base-less or made-up is something that you have to prove first.
Okay, so your disingenuously claiming to speak for them, got it.
I am not criticizing your conclusions. I am criticizing that you claim it as fact and state it as such, when it is simply your opinion. there is a difference between subjective opinion and objective fact. And yes, unless you can definitively prove them, it is disingenuous to demand it is fact. In my personal experience, I feel players complain about it based on over use rather then anything else. As well, its effectiveness against weak players. In my experience, when weak players struggle with something, that does not anything more then it is.
I am beginning to suspect you may believe I was against the recent changes. That is not the case. I do not feel players should be capable of having minions, pets, or otherwise, that are immune to a players critical change or investment in condition damage as a state. As I se it, that was bad design, and the change rectified it.
(edited by dancingmonkey.4902)
The build was cancer because it promoted a overly-rewarding, passive play-style in an action-driven combat system
Prove that for us please.
therefore giving new players a false impression of the class
I am curious, what is your education that qualifies you to tell us what other players think, and how they came to those conclusion? Psychology degree? Did they elect you to speak for them, or did you chose to do that on your own?
Did you interview every new player before you presumed you could speak for them or did you do a random pol? What is the Skew percentage?
Obviously I was referring to Aidenwolf. about his “passive” statement that didn’t actually apply in any way, Sorry for the confusion there
To you, from my perspective as a “cancer” survivor, I find it offensive, but mostly mind blowingly unoriginal. It wouldn’t hurt some folks to stop copy/pasting lame buzz words and learn to articulate their own thoughts, instead of copying the language every other unoriginal poster used.
Calling something “cancer” in my experience, often translates to a situation in which a poster feels they have limited evidence to support their perspective, so they use artificial terms that do not really apply, to try to create a negative connotation.
(edited by dancingmonkey.4902)
Not entirely certain you understand the definition of “passive” in this case.
Everything you listed the thief does, is an physical bottom press and action. None of that is passive.
After reading further, I am not entirely certain you know what cancer means either. Would you mind defining cancer? And how the build was cancer, under said definition?
Cleaning Formula 409 is definitely not a worthy Tools Grandmaster. I think it’s extremely likely it’ll be buffed or modified when ArenaNet actually does a pass through Tools (no new traits yet.)
What bases do you declare it is not worthy?
What cause you to think it will change, test beta feedback?
That is, beyond a doubt, absolutely, 100%, a problem with your ISP.
Anet doesn’t care about how skills affect WvW. Its probably fine in some other area of the game and that’s all Anet cares about.
How can they? You point out a person who claims to be capable of balancing such large scale combat, and I can point out a delusional madman.
A. Long before release, they specifically stated WvW obviously could not, there for would not be intended for balance.
2. This is a complaint about multiple professions working together to do something stronger then either one can do alone. Kind of an MMO concept.
}. It isn’t much of a problem in the first place. If this is an issue, particularly to a necro, you were playing poorly enough to be in the wrong place. That is your fault, not the fault of the other teams ability to intelligently work together with various professions for the mutual benefit of their team.
Not sure what the complaint is, since it is a known fact that the number one and number two ranked GvG teams both use at least one engineer in their competitive play. I have no idea where the false claim that no GvG teams use them. Perhaps those arguing that are not even familiar with the scene or not up to date.
Zinks, if you do not like engineers in large scale combat, that is fine, your welcome to obstain from playing one, but as this thread is specifically about “Zerging” (see thread title) we would appreciate it if you stay on topic and stop trying to make this about GvG, PvP, or small scale combat (the later two are commonly used to deem engineers OP).
In large scale forces, they do extremely well. the entire over rated “GWEN” sheeple should know by know that the stability change kicked the crutch out from under that unoriginal pattern.

Since when is expressing my opinion (and defending it against uncalled-for ad-hominem attacks) considered a rant?
Most of your reply was formated as question, so why is it surprising that I answer those? At least where I’m coming from this is not considered as “arguing one down”.
Yeah, I think you need to relax. Particularly with all of your “Ad-hominem” claims. I had a logical reason for my perspective. No need to made for the ad-hominem angle attack. Assuming you understand what it means fully, that is. You made a thread. That doesn’t make you the king of it. You need to be aware that some will disagree or criticize it.
Do you feel the traits in the inventions line are weak? If not, please explain that, if so, why are you looking to move useful traits out of the line for the synergy you want, instead of moving useful traits into it, when both synergize with the stats the line itself offers?
The point that I was making, is that someone offered some insightful information and you essentially defecated on it.
Just throwing this out there, but folks also underestimate the ability of bombs to keep vulnerability up with “steel packed powder” as Fire Bomb, Smoke Bomb, and Glue Bomb can trigger this trait on each pulse. That’s 12 stacks out of those 3 bombs alone. Sitting duck can add 5 more stacks for 8s with Glue bomb.
While spending time doing non damaging attacks >.<
That and it is not a well know fact that they trigger aspect off pulses, and that it was worth sharing with the OP.
As for the OP, they said no nade or bomb so… not sure why you’re trying to use the OP’s position as some sort of reassurance for your point.
Then why do you mention nades right off the bat, in your first post in this thread? Do not berate other posters for doing nothing more then you did, after you did it.
(edited by dancingmonkey.4902)
Don’t bother sending in your video, Anet won’t use it.
Don’t lie. I know for a fact they have in the past when I sent one in. It is a tool for them to confirm the account whose logs they need to look through. They have to personally see a player doing it, or find solid log evidence. Do not be counter productive because of your own spite, and suggest they do the opposite of what a dev suggested. It doesn’t help anyone.
Why would it be stability any more then any of the calculations on every condition in the game?
They made the change so that the less the 1 full tick or stack of any condition applies now. Every build on every profession has at least some conditions. Anything that is not a dead even number now adds an extra calculation. With all of the conditions in the game, and a new calculation for nearly every one of them with some exceptions of coarse, it baffles my as to why everyone latched onto this stability change theory. In my opinion, it was simply a lame excuse to argue to revert it. With the changes in that update, stability is 5th on the list at best, of load additive issues.
(edited by dancingmonkey.4902)
Personally, I feel Backpack regenerator should be in the Inventions lines. That line is often said as underwhelming, and that would allow your synergy with elixir infused bombs. It seems counterintuitive to me to have them outside of the healing power line.
As too Poison dart volley. You can dislike the cone it makes all you want. That doesn’t change the fact that it has a predesigned pattern and very literally a conal AoE. I would just assume see it work like fumigate. I see your point in wanting all darts to go right to the target thought…………..In that case, I would like to see something happen to coated bullets. It is such a waste on anything other then the auto attack, and it isn’t particularly valuable there.
As to kit refinement, you are saying it is activating out of combat? No you didn’t misread my post. I misread yours. Yeah, given the nature of it having a global cooldown, yes it is bad that it does that. It certainly shouldn’t function our of combat.
It seems you made a list of what you want, but when anyone else has a suggestion, comment, or concern, you feel you need to argue them down. Such as Poison dart volley. The devs listed it as a front conal attack, and your ranting at me because you don’t like that I explained that fact to you. It is also listed on the wiki for example, as a “front cone spread AoE”
(edited by dancingmonkey.4902)
snip
At this point the problem is overwhelmingly the fault of the players. Sure Anet could have done things differently when the game was still in development. But this late in the game, when people are literally buying out other guilds and coaxing their friends to transfer. Even when Anet opened up free transfers, expecting people to transfer down to lower populations – the players chose mostly to try to pack as full into the higher tiers as they could, and still continue to complain about them being full, meaning they’re trying to get more people in the higher tier servers.
Anet has nothing to do with player bandwagoning.
Why do you say “Even when Anet opened up free transfers, expecting people to transfer down to lower populations”? Did they ever say that was their expectation? If that’s what they expected or intended to happen why didn’t they simply close the transfers to the upper tier servers?
At this point bandwagoning has nothing to do with the issues. The issue is that there are too many servers for the current population. It is spread too thin. Speaking specifically of the wvw population not server population in general.
Because players do not want to be forced into their server choices. Nor do they want to have friends come back to the game, and never be able to play on the same server again. That punished players who take time off, and the ability to take time off and still play with your friends is part of their philosophy.
Your asking questions that were answered in many many of the previous discussions and the CDI.
As to kit refinement not activating out of combat. I believe that is done for a reason. Swapping out a kit for the effect of swiftness from speedy kits is handy out of combat. Dropping a magnet bomb, mine, or glue trail and catching random yellow mobs is a bad idea. There is no need to be slowed down to in combat speeds.
Poison dart volley isn’t "designed to miss’ and your comment on that is just plain silly. It is a front conal AoE, common in MMOs. That is like claiming that meteor shower is intended to miss.
Why should – Low Health Response system trigger at 75% health instead of 25%? I mean, if your stating that something has to change, at the least, offer a reasoning or justification please.
Why should Protective shield have its internal cd reduced to 10 seconds?
Why should Elixir Infused Bombs switches place with Experimental Turrets? That strikes me as a horrible idea. Why would I want a trait that adds healing to a skill set, removed from the line that offers healing power? That is irrationally counterintuitive.

Is there some rule that suggest CC and AoE blindness are bad?
They keep me from having to revive the try hard “Mooost DMG or GTFO” clowns who always seem to have that elitist attitude, yet die occasionally when I do not………………..Fire bomb is 2750-3250 damage on a 8s cooldown, while giving 4 stacks of vulnerability on a 10s cool down. I hardly call that a “non damaging attack” but heh’ to each his own I guess.Referring to Smoke/Glue mainly, though fire is a bit lacking if you are already having a bunch of burning on the enemy as well. And the blind, well blind is not something that can be relied on at all on bosses with unshakable, and anything that isn’t a boss vuln is pretty easily kept up and things die super fast anyways so… yeah.
Either way, wasn’t trying to be elitist simply point out why they are “overlooked”.
I doubt that anything you mentioned is why it over looked. I think it is over looked because it simply because it isn’t really common knowledge that pulses on those bombs effect certain traits, sigils, and runes activations. You mention fire bomb when a lot of burning already, as if your attempting to dismiss it. The same applies to shrapnel and poison grenades. They can easily have extremely diminished value with a necro, warrior, or ele that uses earth much, around.
The point is, the OP was asking a question about the two kits. I gather they are not experts on the kits, so I wanted to offer some information about how pulses of bombs function with some traits, as well as sigils and runes for that matter. Yet, your making an effort to devalue bombs, outside the scope of the point I was making.
Coglin/dancingmonkey (not sure if the same person, you both have a similar posting style), it seems we’re just talking past each other at this point, probably better to agree to disagree.
Tspatula, there was a great, long thread on this topic a few months back with a lot of good discussion. I bumped it to the front page, but you can also find it here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/wuv/Solution-to-fix-the-population-imbalance/first
In short, Anet does seem to agree with you that there is a problem, but I agree it’s frustrating that we haven’t heard anything about the development of a solution yet.
The issue isn’t whether or not there is an issue. It is how to solve it, and if we want to have player rights taken away and be forced out among servers. How do you dictate who goes where? Which guilds are forced out of there community and which ones stay? How many will quit over forced population distribution?
No, I am not Coglin. I can only presume you are making that accusation in an effort to bait me with that. You do realize that when you cannot convince someone to see it your way, that making accusations of that nature do not help. I have been asked if I am lord something or other and multiple people hundreds of other posters over the years on the forums. It seems to me that when various people do not believe in biased and irrational attacks on Anet, are the way to get positive attention on the forums, is when these personal attacks arise, claiming us all to be one in the same.
Now instead of shooting down someone that is complaining from a different server, perhaps you could try using a little empathy; if you don’t understand or disagree with the OP’s complaints, why don’t you ask him to elaborate on his complaints?
What server is he on? What server am I on? Since you suggest we are on different servers.
Empathy? I charge $200 an hour for my therapy sessions.
Ask for elaboration? I see more then one post already asking questions to be productive and get more information and purpose. They had questions that deliberately avoided. I believe you defending avoiding them.
Why do they need to do anything? Do you think if players were artificially forced out of populated servers onto lesser populated ones, that many would quite wen they are ripped out of there established community? As I see it, there is reason to believe artificially forcing players into servers they didn’t chose, will cause the over all population to decline greatly.
Why were these questions avoided in this discussion when asked in a previous post? Is this thread for pointless complaining, or with intention to discuss solutions? Why are those with an issue here making a new thread when we already have threads on the front page on this topic?
The OP is complaining about what he sees as a flaw in WvW population balance. I never once saw him propose merging servers as a solution, so your questions don’t make any sense.
It is interesting that you seem to think you get to determine what questions do or do not make sense. Oh wait, you can’t. Care to answer these or any other questions avoided, as to have some constructive direction, instead of this “share out feeling”, pointless complaining in which we “Empathis” we un constructive complaint threads.
Just throwing this out there, but folks also underestimate the ability of bombs to keep vulnerability up with “steel packed powder” as Fire Bomb, Smoke Bomb, and Glue Bomb can trigger this trait on each pulse. 1. Your questions are being avoided because they are off-topic. The OP is complaining about what he sees as a flaw in WvW population balance. I never once saw him propose merging servers as a solution, so your questions don’t make any sense.
Considering it is a violation of the forums code of conduct to make purely complain threads with no constructive value, I would say it is very relevant. Particularly when re making threads on the same topic also violates the CoC. I hardly see how asking constructive questions is what’s off topic here.
2. Complaining is not pointless. It’s not “hipster” to dish on a game you enjoy; if anything, especially when in this case the OP has brought up his points in a constructive manner, it means he really cares about the game and just wants it to be better. There have been many, many solutions posed over the past 2.5 years to this problem. We’ve had a CDI thread dedicated solely to the issue. The developers have made it very clear they recognize it is an issue. But we haven’t seen any movement from Anet about it yet, nor have they discussed that they are even planning to change it. At this point, I think it’s fair to complain without offering more of the same solutions that have already been discussed ad nauseam.
Yeah, it is kind of hipster, to blame the dev team for the players actions. There where thread upon thread an post upon post, demanding that they made transfers free before the tournament in which they did make it free.
It was free at one time before, and the forums were rampant with the spam of threads demanding they start charging for transfers, as folks were often server hopping ten fold what they are now.
So they gave the populace what they ask for then. So this claim that they never listen to folks or give the population what they ask for is dishonest.
3. I just checked the front page, and we don’t have any threads on this topic currently. The closest thing is a long active thread complaining specifically about server population status and the lack of relation it has to active WvW population. Not the same thing as a topic complaining about transfer pricing and population imbalance.

4 whole days old, but sure, not on the front page. Anyone with any real concern, should at least look within the last week.
Your right, they are not the same thing. In some of those, folks are at least trying to have a discussion and be remotely constructive on some levels, rather then a general complaint thread.

having a consistent enjoyable playable WvW experience without server ques requires a constant jumping from one server to the next
That’s not true at all. As well, what is fun for you, is not what defines fun for others. In my opinion, if you have to transfer servers regularly to have fun, your either doing it wrong, or this is not the game for you.
TLDR; It is impossible to balance populations in WvW. Therefore changes to the ruleset should be made to mitigate the negative effects of imbalanced population.
When John Corpening jumped into “Solution to fix the population imbalance” at Sept 2014 (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/wuv/Solution-to-fix-the-population-imbalance/4437596) and “Scoring discussion” in Oct 2014
(https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/wuv/Scoring-Discussion) at lot of interesting and good ideas came out.A pitty that it had zero effect after half a year and it currently looks like it will have zero
impact at HoT-release. What a waste, all the effort for a new map in a game-mode that is broken and isn’t repaired.
Got a link to the changes they plan to make with HoT or what is in the expac itself? Or are you disingenuously making assumptions and stating them as declarations, to suit your agenda?
Because unless you have evidence as to what is coming with the HoT release that the rest of us are not privy to, your just blowing smoke.
Sadly, they do it out ignorance. I like to simply reply with “I love you too” and simply report them for verbal abuse.
In all honesty, the spying and trolling are completely irrelevant. That has more to do with trolls with a few throw away dollars to waste on the sale.
“And yes some of those guilds don’t exist anymore, but also same amount have been created in their place or even more.”
That is absolutely not true. I know first hand that many of those guilds, on the list, have become other guilds on that list. It is possible that half those guilds are disbanded, broken apart all together, or reformed as the other half of those guilds. In other words, it is reasonable to presume that half those guilds on that list, give or take contain the same people as the currently active half. So the amount of GvG participants you are claiming is likely half of the number you claim.
