It’s not that P/D got any stronger in the last patch, it’s just that it now is the most viable thief build and thus it has to be nerfed toned down.
You know- you can just -choose-- not to have zerker gear. It might be less efficient but the majority of the content is still doable without stacking and zerker gear etc.- It’s just often slower.

Why do you want other people to stop wearing a specific set of gear? Why can’t they use the builds they like and are comfortable with?
to be honest guild wars 2 races are crap.

People would just jump on the next rune that was perceived as best-in-slot and then it’s prices would become inflated.

I’d get rid of the remaining bits of Valkyre, Ferocity is not a good stat, unless you go deep in power and precision for a really good crit chance.

But depending on your weaponsets something might work. Say, if you have S/P and D/P, you could put S/P in one set and D/ (with nothing) in the second (netting you S/P and D/P). If you then replace the D/ with a SB your D/ will exchange positions with the SB. Also works with, for instance, S/D and /P (giving S/D and S/P) and placing the SB in the mainhand position of the /P will exchange the SB for the P in your inventory.

I has to do with how “play how I want to” relates to “fun”, which is commonly being associated with “games”. People play games “for fun”, and not as a surrogate job.

Unfortunately most of the gear originates from temple merchants so i can’t salvage the runes from them.
I saw that Nika’s set has a full superior infiltrators rune set. That seems pretty nice. And that looks like a good gear set to pick up.
It’s fine, if you pick up Nika’s you’d probably go Power/Crit and with some traits in Critical Strikes you should be able to finish of anyone below 50% real fast. You can figure out what runes you really want once you’ve settled on a preferred playstyle and build.
Runes of Strength would set you back 90 gold, just saying.
If you manage to complain about the torment from P/D you really need to just add a little . Torment is a pretty weak condition and Shadow Strike’s 2 stacks of 5 seconds are comparable to 3 bleed stacks of 5 seconds, while you move.
And yes, Confusion and, to a lesser extent, Torment are ‘fun’ conditions in the sense that they give you a choice.
Then stop hoarding useless rubbish.

You are playing the wrong genre of games, no game will stay fun forever but MMO’s tempt you to keep playing and inevitably you’ll be repeating content.
Play single player (or cooperative), story based games. No grind ever.
Guild Wars 1 has a grind to get max titles and Guild Wars 2 has a grind to get the end vanity items. It’s set up as the core of both games. They want you to earn them. Granted they didn’t do a very good job with the Legendaries in this game, but the no grind only referred to leveling not going after one of the end game goals.
You don’t need Legendaries GW2 and you did not (do not) need the titles in GW1. They are completely optional.

No, it’s not the keyboard, it’s the client. It happens on the mouse as well, and it never happens when I use the keyboard to write.
You can buy the named exotic berserker armor, I think it is Nika’s, plus exotic berserker trinkets and weapons from the TP.
Start upgrading with ascended trinkets, they are easiest to get, meanwhile build your crafts to make your weapons. The armor has the least to add in terms of offense (it does add extra armor though, like the weapons have an increased base damage)
Unless you need the crit chance for sigil procs, Carrion is probably a better starting point.

Sneak Attack hits like a truck, well a thieves truck anyway, when both Power and Condition Damage are specced, the combined damage is similar to that of backstab.
Was it vulnerability (the little icon below the character healt bar) or did it splash ‘Invulerable’ on the screen?
If it procced vulnerability than it’s not too fast cnd. It should proc blinding too.
Maybe if he downed them with C&D the stealth and blind would occur just after downed invulnerability?

Ah, from the sound of it, when downed a player is invulnerable for a short time, the blind from cloaked in stealth will not be applied and you’d get that message, ‘invulnerable’. You’re too fast with the C&D

It should proc whenever you go from visible to stealth, not on every stealth pulse.
You need to be able to be tricked with mesmers.. As much as I would evangelize their overpoweredness, you can’t remove their main class mechanic.
Mesmer clones already get different treatment with Call/Take target, from what I have seen, no reason auto-target could not be made to include clones, but not pets and minions.
It’s just a bit of health, damage and poison on your target every 30 (20) seconds, not necessary by a long shot. These days you can change trait distribution whenever you are out of combat, you can retrait whenever you expect to need Shadow’s Embrace.

Bots used to farm in groups, typically rangers. They’d all follow the same route and act (almost) simultaneously.
Keep in mind that some of the ‘characteristics’ posted are actually behavior that is not uncommon or easily explained other wise, even the running into objects, which is a common occurrence with lagging or broken connections.
The reduction in critical damage doesn’t help promoting build diversity. For one, zerker is still more efficient, for two, there is no effective alternative stat-combo. There are 3 Power main combo’s, Power/Precision/Ferocity, Power/Toughness/Vitality and Power/Vitality/Ferocity. As before the choice is then between Berserker and Soldier’s, or a mix.

Haven’t seen bots in ages …. they undoubtedly moved to near-deserted servers where nobody would notice them. And now, megaservers provide them an unwanted (and unwilling) audience.
I doubt ANet intended this side-effect for the megaservers, but it’s a nice boon.
I remember a slightly rude but efficient estimate was made just after the announcement in January by assuming a maxed DPS char would have close to a 100% crit chance. Further assuming reduction in damage of 10% this arrived at a 1:14 ratio . The 1:15 suggests a slightly bigger nerf.

GW1 limited it to slightly beyond longbow range, which would be a better alternative then the error prone Line-Of-Sight.
You logic is flawed, there is no ‘bringing back Trinity’ since Guildwars never had a Trinity, consequently, it was never ‘taken away from it’ and thus there is no ‘Why take it away then’.
Secondly, your characters combat role is not defined by, and does not need to be defined by it’s class/profession.

You had that in GW1. On top of that you had spots in groups that were basically reserved for specific classes. Your suggestion would bring that all back. Worse, to enable it you would have to take away self-sufficiency from every class (escept your support) which would in turn make solo-exploration impossible.

Can’t change the model but if something like TexMod could change the creature’s skin to have transparent legs it would look less like a spider, I suppose.
Not sure if TexMod works with GW2, but it undoubtedly has a community that can tell you.
So to prevent that the higher condition damage is being overruled by lower ones, both damage counters should be separated from each other. The next edited picture will show you what I mean (no judgment on the crappy screen editing please )
Yes, I suggested something like that, rather then bookkeeping condition stacks per target, maintain them per source. Would make conditions more useful in group events and by tweaking the per-source cap could be used to tweak effectiveness in PvP/Wvw

It seems ridiculous to me that thieves have so many skills that aren’t stun breakers but still ‘break’ immobilize.
Immobilize is not stun, you can not move but – unlike during a stun – you can activate skills. Why should a stunbreaker be required to counter it?

You can not, but you can clear up space by moving non-bound items to the vault.
Sigil of paralyzation used to increase the daze effect from Tactical Strike and for a long time the rounding would put it to 3 seconds, but that was changed last year
I’ve tested and either of the upgrades will bring the daze duration to approx 2 seconds (57 frames on a 20 fps recording) but they do not stack.
Ranger sword must be the most horrible weapon in all of guildwars the way it
movesroots your character. It looks flashy but is absolute trash.You have to know what it’s doing. It’s giving you the equivalent of many many small free dodges, while doing good damage at the same time. Sword 1 saves lives in a messy melee.
As far as I can tell you don’t evade on the #1 chain while the second and third attack in the chain do root you during their execution.
